Sunrise Whale Watching Boat Tour With Marine Biologist

We recently went on a private sunrise whale watching and snorkeling tour with Anda Expeditions! It was the best experience! We saw whales, sea lions and a manta ray! We watched the most gorgeous sunrise! Visited the Arch and lands end! She took pictures for us so we got to just be in the moment (and those pictures are included!). We then went snorkeling and she was in the water with us taking pictures and showing us different types of fish! I loved how informative they were and knowledgable! It was the best morning! If you are going to Cabo during whale season you need to book a tour with them! You will not regret it!!!

This tour is led by a marine biologist and wildlife photographer. We were looking for something that wasn't a big, drunken party boat, and this was an excellent option. A small boat with two guides, and our family plus one other family of six on board. Really cool to have an expert who could teach us things about the whales and other wildlife. And Angelika takes professional photos of your trip, so you can be in the moment, and sends them to you afterward. We saw a whale breach all the way out of the water and flop back down. We saw lots of their backs and a few tails. We saw a mom with a baby! The snorkeling was the best I've done. The water was warm and clear and we saw a huge variety of fish. I could have stayed out there all day. TIP: If you tend to get seasick, get a prescription for a scopolamine patch and apply at least 4 hours before the tour. I still felt a little bit queasy on the boat, but it was much better than previous boat experiences. 10/10, would book with them again!

We had a wonderful sunrise cruise with Angelika! She and our driver really went the extra mile, staying a few minutes extra to watch one last whale. She gave us insightful commentary throughout on whale biology and behavior and answered all of our many questions, and shared info on pelicans, sea lions, and manta rays, which we also saw. She and our driver even saw spouts from over a mile away! The boat was comfortable and perfect for small groups, plus we received water and snacks, and made a stop for pictures at the arch at the end. Highly recommend getting up early for the sunrise tour!

Angelika & Darío are amazing! We had a great time with them. They are very knowledgeable (Angelika being a Marine Biology Master). They took us "off the beaten path" so we weren't crammed together with a bunch of other boats. We saw a lot of whales! They also send you photos of your tour. If you are looking for the personal touch of a family run business, book with them. You'll be happy you did.

ANDA was amazing! They were so experienced and knowledgeable. They had us on the whales within about 20 minutes and we just had the best show from the whales. We kept a comfortable distance but got to see the whales closer than ever before. I notcied other boats would follow us to find the whales because they know what they're doing! They included the arch stop in the tour as well so it was 2 for 1! AND THE PICTURES...... So So good! I'm so glad they know how to photograph the whales because I did not get great photos with my phone but within a day we had the best professional photos of our experience all included in the price. I couldn't recommend the whale watching tour with ANDA more!!!

Highly recommended!! We saw many whale breaches during our tour. Our guide is super knowledgeable and we learned a lot from her. She took photos for us at the Arch and took good care of us during the trip. We got the photos she took after a day or two and they are absolutely amazing!

Excellent! Very easy to work with, great communication in advance. The morning of our trip everything went off very smoothly. We got out into the water and the sunrise and amazing whale sightings were breathtaking! Very knowledgeable about the whales and their habits and migration patterns. Overall an amazing morning spent with Anda Expeditions! Highly recommend!!

We had a great time whale watching with Anda. Angelica is very knowledgeable about the whales and the marine environment, and did a great job teaching us lots of interesting details about the creatures. Additionally, she is an excellent photographer and allows you to download her images from the tour. Her partner does an excellent job maneuvering the boat and kept us near, but not too near, the whales. I was so happy with our first tour that I booked a second a few days later.

I recently went on a whale watching tour with Anda expeditions and it was amazing! Our marine biologist guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the whales and their behaviors. We saw several whales from a safe distance and were lucky enough to see their movements while following them in the time we spent in the boat. The captain navigated us through the waters safely, even when chasing the dolphins. making the experience very comfortable. The group size was small and intimate- not like all the other tour boats that were filled to the brim! This meant we could ask plenty of questions and really engage with the guide. In the short time we are here in Cabo, I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to connect with nature! Dennis

Wonderful way to start your day. Our guide, Angelika is a marine biologist. Her knowledge and sense of humour were amzing. 3 hours and only 8 of us on the boat. Highly recommend.

Angelika and Dario gave us an unforgettable experience! The whales were out and about to be sure — by the end of the excursion we'd seen dozens of them, including a few breaches and several up close, only meters from (and, twice, *underneath*) our boat. The snorkeling in Chileno Bay was also great fun, and we even managed to squeeze in a few photos at the Arch. Angelika took top-tier photos of and for us throughout the day and sent them to us afterward for download. She and Dario were warm and welcoming and, as expected, were consummate professionals and spoke fluently about marine life in Cabo. They provided snacks, which were much-needed after a couple of hours on the seas. (Tip: use the bathroom before boarding as the expedition may run long, and there are no obvious places to go for several hours on the tour.) And on that note...thanks again, ANDA!!!

Wow! We were very lucky on our tour to see everything we saw 12+ whales and a whole super pod of dolphins, but it was also skill from our captain and lovely to have angelika talk us through everything and teach us how to spot whales and other wildlife! A must do if you’re there in whale watching season 10/10!

Angelica was so passionate about marine biology and teaching us about the whales! She has so much knowledge, and it is obvious that she loves to share her passion with others. She encouraged us to ask questions, and she could answer almost any question about the whales. She also shared amazing photographs with us (included in the tour!). Dario was a wonderful boat captain. We had a smooth ride and saw beautiful beaches and the famous Arch! It was my first time seeing humpback whales, and it was so cool! Water and snacks were provided to us as well. We didn't do the sunrise boat tour because it was filled up, but we did a later morning tour and it was awesome!

It was so Amazing!! They truly have a passion for the ocean and all of the adventures it holds. Very knowledgeable as well. We would highly recommend booking and adventure with them.

She shared so many fascinating facts and made the entire trip fun and exciting. As an added bonus, she took professional-quality photos of both the whales and our group, and sent them to us just days after the tour so we could easily share and relive the experience. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip and I can’t recommend it enough!

My family and I did a whale watching and snorkeling tour with Anda. This was by far the best experience we have had. We got to see multiple whales and the snorkeling was just amazing we got to see lots of families of fish. Dario and Angelika are simply the best!!

We did a morning whale watching and snorkel tour around Cabo. (Family of 6 with 4 teenagers). We would highly recommend this group - the boat was perfect, the knowledge vast and the pictures they took for us are phenomenal. It was a remarkable day on the ocean and we will definitely go out with them again the next time we are in Cabo.

Angelika and Dario were thoroughly delightful and extremely knowledgeable. We left before dawn and had a gorgeous uncrowded trip, including spotting several humpbacks, dolphins, manta rays, and flying fish. Angelika is extremely competent and Dario is an excellent captain of the ship. Don’t worry about your phone: Angelika’s photos will be better than yours. We will book with them every time we return and cannot recommend them enough.

I can’t recommend this whale watching tour enough! The highlight was definitely our marine biologist guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the whales and their environment.It made the experience so much richer—learning about whale behavior and conservation really added to the excitement of spotting these majestic creatures. We saw several whales up close, and it was absolutely breathtaking. We also saw famous arch and sea lions, those are cute creatures! The boat is comfy and has shade but I still recommend using sunscreen, the sun in Cabo hits different.
