San Jose Del Cabo Tequila, Mezcal And Mixology Class

We joined Alan for a tequila tasting, as well as mezcal. He was very inviting, funny, and attentive. He catered to our group that had varying levels of knowledge. When not discussing spirits, it was really cool to just talk about his own experiences at distilleries or even in town. We didn't feel rushed at any point, he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, and while we knew the tasting was curated, he went the extra mile to adjust it on the fly based on just the conversations we were having. Highly recommend this experience, and say it's a must do if you're curious about learning more about tequila or mezcal!

The tasting was informative, entertaining and fun experience. The different tequilas that we experienced were great and Allen did a fantastic job.

This was a delightful surprise. The location is right off the town square in an unassuming Tequila store front. The host, Allen, was fantastic and knowledgeable as to all the tequilas we tasted. He also had a grasp on the overall tequila making process. If you are looking for a laid back tequila tasting experience we would recommend it. Please note that the Tequila store is nothing fancy and in need of an update.

Alan was phenomenal! hilarious, knowledgeable, entertaining and the tequila was fantastic! We enjoyed our time immensely—and are even headed home with some great tequila!

Alan was a great host. We tried several different tequilas and learned how the aging process is done in different types of barrels, including previously used barrels for whiskey and wine, thus creating different flavors and aromas for the tequila.

We had a fabulous time with Allen!! All the taste, knowledge, and humor to make this tasting FANTASTICO!!!

The instructor was great. Very knowledgeable about the history of tequila and gave pointers on how to appreciate tequila without using mixers. This was not really a mixology class as expected. He made us one mixed drink each and just told us what he put in it. Afterwards he gave us like ¼ shots of different tequila and did a tequila tasting. Just not what i was expecting from a mixology class.

Great class. Learned much from the tequila and mezcal class. Quite an extensive tasting. Allen was a wonderful teacher.

Such a pleasant surprise! Alan treated us like royalty and he was so personable and full of interesting facts and lore about all the Tequilas he served us! He started our experience by making us a margarita that was delicious. We tasted at least 8 different tequilas!

Came here to learn more about tequila as an activity for a bachelorette party and we had the most fun! Small intimate group, felt personal. Well worth the price. Great experience! Shout out to Alan. We got a little turned around getting to the location but they were helpful getting us to the correct spot via call and text. Very grateful they waited for us despite being late. Absolutely will be back! Huge variety to taste from and even take home to enjoy later.
