Private Fishing Trip "All Inclusive" In Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

My wife and I booked the 8 hour fishing charter during our anniversary trip. José and José worked their tails off to get us on the fish. I caught a small yellow fin, a large sail fish and a grouper. Such a fun day.

Captain Angel and 1st mate Freddy were great guides and were very friendly, informative, fun and attentive. We caught a small tuna and a lovely mahi mahi which we took home. The Marlins were illusive this time but we were delighted with the experience and would do it again. I recommend them.

First Mate Angel and Captain Victor were on point today!! We went hunting Marlins and boy did we get lucky! 2 Striped Marlins both 96" + ! Angel was so patient with the 16yo boys while they fought these monsters. Such a great charter. Will book again!

I was very excited at first. But the experience was not great. We couldn’t keep the fish we caught, and I heard others got to keep parts of the fish and eat their catch. It was supposed to be 4 full hours, and the crew brought us back after 2.5 hrs. Then, when we tipped, they guilt tripped us heavily about not being satisfied with their tip. We felt the tip was appropriate for the time we were out there. We were a quiet couple just wanting to fish. They try to sell you a mount at the end, and I’ve seen terrible reviews about the company. Basically it sounds like people will pay and never see their mount. I would pay more for a better experience because this was the worst.

This was my third time fishing with this outfit, and once again, the experience was absolutely incredible. In 2024, I went out with the crew of BlueTail2, and everything about the trip was awesome — the crew, the fishing, and the entire booking experience. That experience was a big reason we chose to come back again. This year, we had the opportunity to fish aboard Bad Market with Señor Diaz, Alan, and Captain Andres, and these guys made the trip truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until well after we were back at the dock, they were constantly hustling and doing everything possible to give us an amazing experience. They put us on the fish, worked incredibly hard getting the fish to the boat, and even filleted some of our fresh Yellowfin Tuna right there during the trip so we could enjoy fresh tuna sushi while still out on the water. It honestly doesn’t get much better than that! Captain Andres, Señor Diaz, and Alan were professional, hardworking, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had an incredible day. The entire experience felt surreal. Three trips with this outfit now, and they continue to deliver. I can’t say enough good things about the people, the service, and the experience. Thank you to the entire team, and especially the crew of Bad Market. You guys are AWESOME!!! We will absolutely be back!

We had such a great experience with Cabo Sport Fishing! From start to finish, the Captain and first mate Freddy were friendly, professional, and made sure we had a fantastic day on the water. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and really went above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable. We caught a Mahi mahi and a sailfish! The boat the Robalo was comfortable, everything was well organized. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or a beginner, I would definitely recommend Cabo Sport Fishing. We booked a full day trip on Blue Tail II and it was a great experience. Angel and Jerry were very knowledgeable, professional and provided excellent service. No stress and no worries with the all inclusive style package. Lunch was amazing and we hooked up on 3 striped marlin. 10/10 would recommend.

Jose and crew were very accommodating; we wanted to catch tuna and marlin, and we scored on both counts - 2 nice marlin and 1 70 lb tuna. All licenses, drinks and lunch were included; best price/performance for the full-day trip we experienced.

Went for Marlin and saw two on the day. The fish just were not out today which is part of fishing. Guides spotted some Tuna jumping so we chased tuna and caught 3 then went back to Marlin setup.

We caught Marlin which was great but the Captain and Deckhand made the trip. They worked hard, had fun, made it easy going for us, great to talk to, even if we didnt catch anything it still would have been a good day out with these guys. Also, i made a request to go after Rooster fish even though its not really season for it, they still accommodated no problem and we went atter them for a bit too. Well worth the money, great crew, could not recommend these guys more.

Incredible Experience — Jose and Angel Went Above and Beyond! We booked our sport fishing trip through TripAdvisor, and because the reservation was non-refundable, we were pretty worried when our cruise ship stopped letting passengers off due to the weather. When the ship finally allowed us to disembark around noon, we contacted then expecting that we had probably missed our opportunity. Instead, they were still waiting and willing to take us out and gave us our full day of fishing, even though we were getting such a late start. That alone would have earned them a five-star review. They could easily have shortened the trip or told us we were too late, but they didn’t. They were professional, accommodating, and genuinely wanted us to have the experience we had paid for. And then the day got even better. We ended up catching an absolutely incredible 101-inch black marlin! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something we will never forget. Jose and Angel turned what started as a very stressful and disappointing day into one of the highlights of our entire trip. Their flexibility, professionalism, hard work, and commitment to making sure we had a great experience were exceptional. If you’re looking for a sport fishing charter, I would recommend Jose and Angel without hesitation. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.

Such a great experience! The guides Angel and Gilbert were very knowledgeable and we ended up catching a huge wahoo fish!!! So fun! Very helpful, friendly and such a good time! Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing day of fishing! Gil and Angel were incredible and worked their butts off to get us fish. We brought in 2 Marlin - 1 black, 1 blue, and a Dorado. Angel somehow wrestled the fish and got them up into the boat so that we could take photos and then gently release them back into the water. Angel was super attentive and make sure that we never went thirsty or hungry. Gil is an amazing captain and sped us over to wherever he thought the fish were going to be. I would highly recommend a day of fishing with these guys!!

Be patient. The crew will use several options to get a catch. We caught 3 marlins and 1 wahoo. Had to release 2 marlins and the wahoo got away So exciting especially when 3were at the same time. Angel was amazing and fun. The captain JB was awesome and knew what he was doing.

Great fishing experience and nice crew. We had an all day trip for four of us, targeting tuna but caught a big marlin instead!

Everyone was amazing captain and deck hand made sure we were enjoying ourselves and made sure we all stayed hydrated and did not let us leave until we got something.

We had a great time with our two girls on this fishing trip. We went out on El Pargo with Angel and JP and from the very beginning both guys were great and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. What I loved about this trip is we just showed up and fished, everything was included. They had home cooked burritos and snacks for us…(the burritos were awesome) and lots of drinks and snacks. They started out taking us out and letting the girls catch a couple fish right out of the gate to satisfy their desire to real something in since we knew we would be trolling for big stuff and there was a chance we wouldn’t catch anything. It was a slow morning but the boys stayed on it and around 10:30 we hit a MARLIN! We are already planning on coming back in November with the boys to try and get on the Tuna!

Luiz and Angel were amazing crew! We caught 2 HUGE Marlins and were able to keep one, at least 140lbs. The crew made everything comfortable and were very helpful. Great value for money and a great day out on the water. The perfect day out with friends or family. Ask for Luiz and Angel, they will take great care of you!

Big day fishing today, we were able to pull up a stripped marlin! Jerry and Gilbert were super helpful and knowledgeable and made the entire trip possible. Without them there was no chance we could have done something like this. Highly recommend to anyone else who has the opportunity.

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Cabo Sport Fishing Crew in Cabo San Lucas! In just 5 hours of fishing, we caught TWO huge marlins — approximately 60 kg and 80 kg (130 and 175 lbs) — and we came incredibly close to catching two more marlins, which unfortunately got away at the very last moment. Absolutely nothing the crew could have done differently: Angel and Gilbert did an outstanding job from beginning to end. A very special mention goes to Angel and Gilbert, who were simply fantastic. Angel was incredibly professional and worked nonstop for the entire five hours. He was constantly changing lines and lures, adjusting the rods, repositioning everything and trying different setups to give us the best possible chance of catching fish. His commitment, knowledge and attention were impressive. He never stopped working to make sure we had the best fishing experience possible. Gilbert, our captain, was exceptional. He clearly knew the waters and the best fishing spots extremely well. Throughout the trip, he managed to get us exactly where the fish were, often before the other boats arrived. The combination of Gilbert’s skill in finding the right spots and Angel’s constant work with the fishing equipment was incredible — and the result speaks for itself: two massive marlins caught in only five hours and another two very close! Everything about the experience was excellent. They were perfectly on time, the fishing equipment was outstanding, and the boat was extremely clean, comfortable and very well maintained. During the entire five-hour trip, Angel and Gilbert took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed, including snacks and drinks. For us, being among our first experiences with this kind of sport fishing, it was something truly special and a day we will remember for a very long time. The price was also extremely competitive, especially considering the quality of the boat, the equipment, the professionalism of the crew and the overall level of service. A huge congratulations to Cabo Sport Fishing Crew, and above all a massive thank you to Angel and Gilbert. Two fantastic professionals and genuinely great people who made our day in Cabo unforgettable. This past Wednesday we went on a fishing trip, hosted by Luis and Angel, and it was a once is a lifetime experience! Not even 45 minutes into the trip, we caught a Wahoo, which Luis and Angel said was incredible considering it didn’t bite the line off and there is only a small chance of actually succeeding in getting a Wahoo into the boat! For lunch, they had made homemade burritos that were on the most DELICIOUS tortilla. We listened to music and drank beers before we got another fish on the line, this time it was a MARLIN! Angel was patient with me while he taught me how to reel it in, and they took photos for us holding it before releasing it back into the water. At the end of the trip, they showed us where to get it filleted, and we gave them half the fish as a thank you, and also because we would never be able to eat it all! Luis and Angel made the trip even more exciting and fun than we ever anticipated, and we will definitely be booking another trip with them for our future stay in Cabo.

Captain Luis and first mate Angel did an exceptional job and made our trip first rate. Totally exceptional.

Capt. Jose Luis and 1st Mate Freddy were excellent. The boat and equipment were in great condition as well. Right out of the marina, we were hooked up on fish, and it didn't stop there, a nice dorado and a 350 lb marlin. Freddy was attentive and truly worked for the fish, constantly changing lures and refreshing the bait. Once the marlin was spotted, they locked in and did everything they could to get a hit. I've never seen a mate move faster. Once we hooked up, the captain, mate, and boat functioned as one single entity built to catch fish, working together to bring it in. After an hour and 20 minutes, it was alongside the boat: an estimated 350 Ib marlin measuring 136 inches.

Had a great trip with Capt. José and 1st Mate José on Reel Tequila. The equipment and boat were in great condition. Booked an 8 hour trip and we were in the tuna for a large majority of the trip, had three nice tuna hooked up for a total of around 3 hours of fighting fish, landing a 90lb and a 75lb tuna. These guys are some of the most experienced that I have ever been with, Capt. José having 30 years, and it really shows throughout the entire day especially working the boat with the fish and landing them. Even after we had two in the boat, and lost the third, we fished up until 1:45 at least and made it to the marina well after 2 o’clock.

We left at 6am. 2 crew, the captain and 1 setting up the rods. They stopped for coffee for us before heading out. It was a small boat so it rocked a lot, even with good weather. The motor was loud the entire time so it's hard to have any conversations and you smell gas from the engine most of the trip. We had 2 skipjack tuna on the line early on leaving the marina and were able to reel one in. Then we trolled out to sea with lines in for another hour or so. No bites. Then we found a pod of dolphins and several other boats all trying to work with the dolphins to catch a tuna. An hour of moving with the dolphins, and we had a big one on the line. It took (or the crew let it take) an hour and 15 mins to reel it in. They guided us on how to fight the fish and after an hour adjusted the line tighter so we could get it in. A 40-45 lb yellowfin. They pulled all the lines in when we were reeling so everyone else sat and watched. It was now 10:30, and we headed back in at full speed with no lines out with the goal of fishing more closer in, but then it took 90 mins just to get back so no more fishing. We were happy we caught the 2 we did, but we wished we had gotten more time fishing and less time driving/trolling. Maybe we could've communicated that up front, but we didn't know. The guy helping with the reels was nice. Back at the dock there was a guy who would clean and cut the fish for us (additional charge), but we opted to gift the tuna to the crew (2 on board plus owner of boat, so 3 families were able to eat from our big tuna they said). The captain was still expecting an additional tip at the end after all that which left a bit of a sour taste in our mouth but we still enjoyed it. Note: If you are a person who gets sea sick, you will. Even with Dramamine and a $300 band. Those of us who only deal with mild to no sea sickness were fine.

Great experience from start to finish. Instructions from company helped prepare. Boat was impeccably clean. Left on time and returned on time. Blue Tail crew was amazing. Hard working, very helpful, and courteous. Caught and released two sailfish, with other strikes and tuna action. Amazing day and well worth the price.

Crew was great but vessel was in poor condition (duct tape, leaking window below deck). Conditions were very rough so we returned 90 minutes into our 8 hour trip.

We spent 2 days fishing with Juan and Alex on the Blue Tail II. Despite slow fishing across the fleet, our guys put us on fish both days. A fantastic 9ft Black Marlin and a very nice Dorado. These guys work hard to get you on the fish and we will be rebooking with them again for next year.

Nice boat, good gear, and man what a hard working crew! We did a five hour trip and all though we didn’t catch a ton of fish it was not for lack of trying. Couldn’t have asked for a better captain and first mate.

Great captain and first mate. Never gave up even when the fish were a no-show all day. They agreed to stay late so my son could catch his first marlin. He did! Right at the end of the day and it was a blue!
