Private Departure Luxury Transfer Hotels To: San Jose International Airport (1 - 5)

We booked our transfer from the SJD airport to the Tesoro on Feb 25th and back to the airport on March 4th. Transfer into Cabo was perfect. On March 4th, the transfer vehicle just didn't come. We waited and waited, finally the concierge called Nexus and was told the transfer was canceled. No reason was given. By then we had to scramble to get a taxi to the airport. It cost us an extra $145. Do not rely on Nexus tours to show up for your transfer or to take any responsibility if they screw up!!

Our driver was on time with a smile on his face, helped us with her bags and got us to the airport on time. He was very friendly, but not too friendly and chatted. Us up a bit about where we were from. It was a good ride to the airport

While the pre-booked travel from the airport to our hotel went fine, they failed to show up for our return trip. We had prepaid for this airport transfer through our vacation booking hoping to remove all hassle from our travels. I had confirmed the pickup time through Nexus’ website the day before and we were ready and waiting at least five minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time. When they were 10 minutes late, I reached out via their online chat to confirm that someone was coming. I was told that they were on their way but the traffic was heavier than expected. I was told that they should be there within 10 minutes. When they still didn’t show 30 minutes after our scheduled time I reached out again. It took them another 10 minutes to reply that our ride wasn’t coming and that we’d have to take a taxi. Not sure what happened to the driver that was “on their way” or why we would be told that only to cancel later. Thankfully, our vacation company is going to work to reimburse us for some of the cost of this company’s failure. My advice, don’t waste your money on these guys. Grab an Uber for your transfer. Much cheaper and more reliable in the long run.

He found our transfer so we could use the hotel to airport portion saving us out of pocket costs Will recommend Nexus to all for their professional, efficient service.

Booked round trip transport with this company for a group of 12. Transport from airport to resort was fine. Here’s the issue. Flight back to US was at 11:25. This company scheduled an 8:25 am pick-up. Resort was about 45 minutes from airport. We were advised to be at airport 3 hours before flight. At 9:00, had not been picked up. I call the company and they gave several excuses as to why they were not there (oh, we’re having issues with the vehicle, we’re looking for a driver, there was an issue with your card). The last was an outright lie. My card was charged May 4, 2023. In the end, we ended paying a different company $194.50 to transport group to airport because this company dropped the ball. And they were unwilling to refund half of the cost since they were late for pick-up and didn’t transport back to airport.

Marlon Alcaraz accomplished everything thing I needed done. I have asked multiple things and he ended up taking care all of it while I was off the resort. I appreciate it. I stayed at the Rui Palace Baja California. He’s gonna point and help you in the right direction.

I would rate my overall experience a 0 if I could. 1st there were issues with the confirmation of our return shuttles. We had to continuously call because they originally had our pick up an hour before our departures. Which makes no sense the hotel is about 45 minutes away from the airport and we need to be there 2-3 hours before so why would you schedule our departures so close to our flights. Then she had to keep calling to get our correct times because they didn’t have it ready even though it was Sunday and we were leaving on Tuesday. If we didn’t keep calling, when would we have actually gotten our pick up info. This is literally an adjustment to reservations that we’re made well before the trip even started. They added my roommate to my reservation and tried to say I got picked up earlier that morning when there were suppose to be 2 pick up time. Overall, this company is disorganized and caused a lot of issues due to us having to continuously call in our to figure out when our actual pick up times are. I ended up having to take a taxi to the airport because of all the confusion and back and forth. Nexus Tours and their managers weren’t helpful at all. Based on the my experience with the cabo company I would never use this company anywhere else & on any of my trips. The level of customer service I received was subpar.
