Great crew, beautiful beach best snorkeling experience I have had in Cabo. Group of 6 , lunch was very good, good explanations of all of the views. Danielle was a great guide. Boat was very wore out but trip was excellent.

The boat was beautiful, everything was spotless, and the service exceeded our expectations. The crew was always one step ahead, making sure we had everything we needed while allowing us to relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. We celebrated my brothers 50th birthday and had a ball. The crew, drinks and hospitality made for a memorable experience for all.

There was a mistake, and somehow the boat was double-booked. We were on the boat pulling out of the marina and had to return because the other group was there. Our group was asked to leave the vessel so the other party could get on. Chuy (the big boss) was not sure how the double booking happened. He was apologetic and rebooked us on another sailing two days later and paid for our transportation from our resort and back. Our driver was Gabriel and he was fantastic. When we finally did sail two days later the crew were all very nice and we appreciated their efforts to make our excursion enjoyable. Drinks were not good at all, overly sugary, typical booze cruise fair, the food was a roasted chicken that probably came from Costco. Would I book this excursion through this company again? No. Did we have an enjoyable time? Yes, although the mood was already dampened by the double-book mistake. The highlight was seeing whales and being on the water with the people we came with.

Easily the highlight of our entire trip. If looking for a private tour, this catamaran and Chuy cannot be beat. Tour guides Danny and the entire sailing crew were absolutely delightful. We followed the migrating whales, got great photos at the arch, snorkeled in the clear waters, were taught about the region and the animals as we sailed, and were well attended to with food and beverage. Our catamaran had a bathroom on board and aquatic toys for everyone to enjoy (snorkels, paddle board, raft). Great communicator and even helped provide a reputable airport transfer shuttle for us. Easily 10 out of 10

We had the best experience with Chuy and La Tortuga private tour. We flew in on Christmas Day and were able to book a private boat for 9 on the 27th. Chuy was extremely professional when booking-provided detailed information, explicit instructions about how/where to find him and confirmation of our reservation. When we arrived his assistant, Maria, and the entire crew were professional, kind and welcoming. They anticipated all of our needs and ensured we had a fantastic time from beginning to end. We’ve taken many boat rides in Cabo and this was our best experience by far. We will definitely book through them again.

I booked this excursion for our group of 10 during our recent cruise and it was absolutely amazing in every way! Communication from the owner (Chuy) was top notch from start to finish. And Danny, Rene and Xochitl provided impeccable service once aboard La Tortuga. They did not skip a solitary beat. The drinks were flowing and the food was way better than any of us had expected. Danny did a wonderful job of educating us on the lay of the land without overtalking and they even made sure to stop for some whales along the way to snorkel. The music was spot on and might as well have been playing from my own phone. It was funny when we were heading back, Rene announced “there is your ship!” which prompted a round of boo’s from our group. We could’ve easily stayed on for the rest of the day. And the final touch was provided by our captain (Rene) when we’d yelled out to him from the tender line saying adios one last time and next thing I know, he was headed our way with a tray of Pacificos for us which made waiting in that crazy tender line much more pleasurable as everyone else around us looked on in amazement (and likely a little bit of jealousy haha). I could go on and on, but most people aren’t trying to read a novel. Just book this excursion and I guarantee you will never regret it. P.S. To Danny, I think you made the right move, my man! You’re a true professional and you’re so perfect for this role. Cheers to you and we’ll see you again.

Highly recommend this tour! The crew went out of their way to tailor the boat trip to our group. We especially loved seeing the whales and getting to use the Lilly pad and paddle boards.

The team, Chuy, René, Juan and Danny did an incredible job. Danny’s eyes were like the pools we swam in. The whole team ensured we had what we needed and the chillada were to die for. We saw a sea turtle, a seal and so many flying fish.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and even bought a birthday cake for two of our friends on board (tres leches)! Three hours was the perfect length to sail, drink, snorkel, and enjoy. Sergio was the life of the party and made sure we were well hydrated and cared for. The catamaran is beautiful and the perfect size for friends/families of 14+. There was a photographer on board that we were able to purchase pictures from our voyage from and we absolutely love them. We plan on booking this the next time we are in Cabo!

I booked this for my family, consisting of two grandmas, one of which was 85, two kids age 4 and 12, and parents and family. A total of 10 members. This was our first private rental and we were blown away by the difference in room (sooo much space for 10 people on a full catamaran) and the service (a ratio of 1 crew to 2 passengers). They served us lunch where we were. In other excursions, we had to line up or get it ourselves. It is my birthday this month and I mentioned that and they served me a birthday cake, sliced it for us and served this to each passenger where we sat. This was awesome since the seniors didn’t have to walk on a rocky boat to get the food themselves. We had our own bartender making us whatever drink we wanted, both alcoholic or virgin cocktails. And I haven’t even gotten to the trip itself! We were taken to snorkeling since our party has never done that in Cabo. Santa Maria Bay was calm and beautiful. Our crew warned that there may be Portuguese Man O’War jellyfish around. The crew said they would keep and eye out and warn use but I didn’t actually think we would be encountering this. We enjoyed the snorkeling but the saw one of the crew drive in with a cup and start scooping the water. The crew member stayed in the water while another kept scooping while we snorkeled. They eventually warned us to get back inside after almost 45 min of snorkeling andlaying on the lilly pad, which was just enough snorkeling for our party. Upon coming back, we got to see what they were scooping up. In the cups where multiple Portuguese Man O’War jellyfish. I was amazed that the crew that dived in was able to get the long tentacles as well, which were almost invisible. Our kids were entirely fascinated with them and then started spotting a tons of others in the water, any one of which would have ruined their trip if they got stung. The crew did an amazing job of protecting us. While on the way back, the crew was very good about pointing out wildlife, like rays breaching the water, sea lions, dolphins, and various species of fish. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience for our family and hats off to the crew and in particular, to Danny for diving in and protecting us against those jellyfish. I finally want to mention the food. The chicken was so good my brother got three helpings. I want to find out where they got this. It was tender and moist and flavorful. Nachos with beans and guacamole hit the spot. They were able to provide an amazing experience for seniors, young kids, and the parents (with lots of alcohol! Haha). Our entire family thought this was the highlight of our trip.

From the moment we got onto the boat it was an amazing time! Danny and Zochili were both amazing and far succeeded our expectations! The boat itself was very clean. Once we got into the water Danny was very helpful with getting out the lily pad, paddle boards and snorkeling gear. The food was very good also, chicken, beans and rice. I told the company about an hour before that we were celebrating 2 birthdays and they surprised us with a cake! Would highly recommend to anyone!

We absolutely love this Catamaran tour. The entire crew is awesome. Manny, the Captain, knows what he is doing and crew provides you with the type of tour you want. It can be a quiet tour or a lively tour. The food is great and the drinks are plentiful. We have taken a new group three years in a row and this tour is the best part of their Cabo trip.

This was an amazing tour on La Tortuga catamaran. Sergio was so welcoming and made sure the trip was perfect. Food and drinks were plentiful. As we saw other tours packed with passengers, we were convinced the extra dollars were worth the relaxation. Would only suggest the tour operator communicated better. We had to ask other tour guides where to go at the marina for the Jungle Cruise team. I texted twice the day prior and the morning of and never heard from them. It all worked out great, but was a little stressful. Huge Thank you for an amazing trip.

We just got back from a spectacular trip to Cabo. We chartered the Tortuga with Chuy and his crew last Sunday. Chuy was amazing from day one, when I started planning this trip for my boyfriend’s 50th birthday. The crew was spectacular - amazing service throughout the trip. We had to change course a bit because of choppy weather and we still had the most phenomenal time! It was a month after whale season and we still got to see a whale breach four times and even a flying manta ray! It was a magical day. The crew also unexpectedly brought out a birthday cake for my boyfriend - an incredibly sweet surprise! Gracias Chuy por un dia tan espectacular!!

We chartered the catamaran for a 17 person bachelor party and had an absolute blast! The crew was prepared to host whatever level of celebration you were prepared to have, and for us they made sure that no one’s drink ran dry at any point. At the snorkeling spot they were prepared with snorkels, a floating pad that could fit 10+ people easily, and paddleboards. Having the whole boat to ourselves was fantastic and so much better than if we had taken one of the big boat tours. I would recommend taking this tour to anyone who is looking for a snorkel tour as a group!

I highly recommend booking a private boat tour! Danny and the crew were amazing, well informed, and very nice. I accidentally booked my tour on the wrong day, and they easily were able to reschedule it. They also communicated through text to tell me exactly where to meet them. The boat ride was great! We got to see whales, spend time in the water, and eat. They even had a cake for my birthday! 10/10!!!

We are a group of spring breakers all from the same school who just wanted a good time! They celebrated graduating college with us and were incredibly kind and helpful! Chuy, the boat master, was very responsive and there was even a photographer on board!!! We’ve been raving about it ever since and have so many good memories. Would 10000% do again

These guys were awesome. We got to see about a dozen humpback whales that the crew spotted out and followed. They also made sure everyone had a full drink and had great music and vibes. Would highly recommend!

The catamaran cruise was the highlight of our family vacation! Sergio and the entire crew were amazing and made it so much fun. We had the BEST time on the Tortuga! They catered to absolutely every request we had and were sooo fun and kind. They made sure everybody was comfortable and having fun. Our 4 year old had a rough moment and they immediately came to the rescue with letting him drive the boat and feed the fish! The private experience is worth every penny. 10/10 recommend! Sergio, Danny, and Chilly Willy of the La Tortuga private catamaran crew were AMAZING!!! They were so attentive to our party of 12 and great with all the kids in our group! We enjoyed them so much and the whole experience, especially all the whales we saw! Thank you for accommodating our group on short notice and making our family trip to Cabo so memorable! Our family members have all said if we come back to Cabo… we plan on booking La Tortuga again!!!
