What an amazing experience! Emelio, our tour guide was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He picked us up at our hotel. In a private jeep he drove us up the eastern coast where we saw breathtaking ocean views. On the way he pointed out so many things we would have never seen or known about without his local expertise. After we ended up at Cabo Pulmo where he set up beach chairs and shade. He took us out snorkeling and pointed out amazing coral and sea life. He then took us to a local restaurant for some of the best tacos and mango margarita . This was one of the highlights of our trip. A must do for a unique and memorable experience!

Mauri was a great guide. He was on time, told us a lot about where we were going, helped with equipment and made everything easy. Cabo Pulmo is peaceful and amazing. Lunch was great.
Marco Polo excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. Stopped and took some amazing pictures and very thorough when taking us out into the water to snorkel
This was an amazing experience and our guide, Fernando, was just perfect. The scenery, commentary and snorkeling were out of this world and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great day out away from the hotel area.
Our guide was Emilio. He was a great driver and a great guide. Emilio is very personable and Very knowledgeable of the area. Emilio was a lot of fun to be with. He was also extremely attentive and accommodating. All in all we had a great time!
Go on an amazing tour with Mono! You won’t be disappointed. Mono is the best tour guide. Very knowledgeable, great driver, affable personality & really strives to make our experience the best. We went during the Rainy season & the clarity of the Sea of Cortez was not ideal for snorkeling. No problem! Mono is a pro! We pivoted & visited a local waterfall instead, which was so refreshing & just what we needed on a hot afternoon. Finished the experience with the BEST local Tacos at Las Agaves. Highly recommend this experience. You won’t be disappointed!
****Must Read***** We had the BEST TIME of ours lives! EMILLIO, was outstanding and SURPASSED our expectations. Very confident and SAFE DRIVER. HE IS very KNOWLEDGEABLE when gives the tour. EXCELLENT with his English. He has PASSION for what he does. The areas we went to were spectacular! We saw everything and gave us time to stop and take pictures. Very helpful when it came to everything. Waits on you like hand and foot. Sets up the perfect spot with chairs and shade. The snorkeling was beautiful and the weather. He knew exactly what to do and sea. The food is as traditional as you can get with Mexican food and not Tex-Mex. I would recommend EMILLIO to anybody that has trouble walk, he’s there to help. Keep in mind you get to go in the water. Life vest and snorkeling gear provided. Best TOUR EVER!
I loved the Jeep tour! Emilio, the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the terrain. The route was exciting and challenging, with breathtaking views of the landscape.
Emilio gave us fun day of sightseeing and snorkeling. We saw a lot of the green, scenic countryside during the drive to and from Cabo Pulmo.
The Cabo Pulmo jeep tour was the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Emilio, was simply amazing—super fun, incredibly informative, and one of those people you just feel lucky to meet. Honestly, even if we didn’t do the tour, I’d want to hang out with him on the beach all day. The scenery was breathtaking, but what made it truly unforgettable was an unplanned detour Emilio led us on through a magical little Baja village and forest. It felt like stumbling onto a secret side of Mexico that most travelers never get to see. If you’re in Cabo, don’t miss this tour—and definitely ask for Emilio. He turns an already incredible adventure into something extraordinary.
Absolutely loved the tour! Mauri was a fantastic guide, making the experience truly enjoyable and insightful. Recommend.
The jeep tour was amazing thanks also to Jose Luis, best driver ever! Thank you for this beautiful experience and explaination!
Our guide Jose Luis was the best in showing us around to Cabo Pulmo! We brought our 4yo and she loved it, we brought our own car seat. Cabo Pulmo is gorgeous, we opted to have lunch there instead of the place suggested on the tour. The views are amazing!!!
We had an unforgettable experience with High Tide's Private Jeep Tour to Cabo Pulmo! From start to finish, everything was seamless, exciting, and filled with local flavor. Our guide, Maury Sanchez, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He shared so much insight into the local ecology and culture, making the drive and each stop even more enriching. The snorkeling in Cabo Pulmo was breathtaking. The water was crystal-clear, and we saw vibrant coral reefs, schools of tropical fish, and even a Puffer Fish! Maury made sure we were comfortable and safe the entire time. After snorkeling, we headed to a family owned restaurant in Miraflores, with amazing Sea Bass tacos! The food was authentic, fresh, and delicious—truly a hidden gem we wouldn't have discovered on our own. This tour was the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and local culture. We highly recommend High Tide and especially Maury Sanchez for anyone looking to explore the real Baja in a personal and meaningful way.
Jose was exceptional in his knowledge of the area and especially of the ocean and sea life. He is very personable. Rides were prompt. Food was great. Timing was excellent no rush.
My mom and I did the private Jeep tour to Cabo Pulmo with José and had a fantastic time. He was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. It was one of our favorite days in Baja and when we come back we will definitely request José for another tour. 10/10 recommend!
Emilio was a great guide and driver . He was friendly and knowledgeable . He knows the in and out of the landscape just like his back hand
This trip was absolutely amazing. Beautiful scenery and great snorkelling. Our driver/guide was Emilio and he was friendly, knowledgeable and a great host for Cabo! Daryl
The drive was made informative and beautiful, stopped for photos, and great local advice . The guide was enthusiastic and answered our questions. He also used his technology to order food so it would be ready for us once we arrived.
Tour was wonderful! Our guide Jose Louis was fantastic! He shared many fun facts with us. It was great spending the day with a local with local knowledge. He had everything we needed for our day, we just showed up with swimsuits and sunscreen. JL took care of everything else. Thanks for a great day!
We had a blast. Our guide Maury was very informative and easy going which made our trip even better. My daughter loved the snorkeling and I was a big fan of the fish tacos at Los Agaves.
Emillio was great and we had a wonderful day. Will you jump from the top of the waterfall? What a great pay off on the hike. Then tacos at a local fav with Emilio wrapped up the day in style! Thanks Emilio.
We had an unforgettable day exploring Cabo Pulmo with Luis “El Monito” as our guide. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The Jeep tour was thrilling, taking us through breathtaking landscapes and showcasing the natural beauty of the area. One of the highlights of the day was spotting majestic whales in their natural habitat—it was truly magical! Luis was knowledgeable, professional, and made the tour jeep informative and fun. To top it all off, the birria was absolutely delicious—a perfect way to end a perfect day. If you’re looking for an adventure filled with stunning views, wildlife, and great company, this tour is a must-do. Thank you, Luis, for such an amazing experience! Highly recommended!
Great Jeep ride and snorkeling! Emilio was a great guide and even took us to a few extra places to see the sites. The lunch was delicious. And he stopped at some stores so we could buy some Vanilla!!! Highly recommend!!!
This was so much fun and Luis Zambrano was the ultimate host, the off roading was quite an adventure. Cabo Pulmo was gorgeous.
This was the most amazing tour I have ever been on in all of my travels !!! Marco Polo is the best guide , so courteous and knowledgeable. The small group tour was absolutely perfect for our group of 3
Marco Polo was amazing tour guide, i recommend this tour to anyone who would like a personal tour of cabo san lucas, the day was awesome..
Marco Polo was absolutely the best tour guide I have ever been on a tour with! He was so accommodating and let us take our time at all the stops. Everything was on our time schedule and never rushed. We saw some amazing off the road places and had a fantastic lunch. I holy recommend Marco Polo as your tour guide.
This day is one to remember! Where should I start? The Jeep Tour was sooo fun and absolutly amazing along the seaside. The snorkling tour was magical. It just took 7 minutes till our guide Luis spotted a turtle and showed us many beautiful spots and the sealife. And the Tacos at the end were probably the best ones we ate so far. A big thanks to Luis for this very special day :) you are the coolest!
We had such a special day with Luis, he was a great and fun guide and made the experience unforgettable! Even the drive to the beach was amazing because of the breathtaking view of the ocean. My dream of spotting a turtle became reality. Highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area!
We went on a private tour with Hugo. What an incredible guide. He realized that a trip to Santiago to see the oasis and waterfall was more to our liking and it sure was . . He helped us hike down to the waterfall and back. The swimming was great. His English was great and he suggested local restaurants to us as well.
My husband and I had a great time on our tour. Hugo did a great job! He was very friendly and knew where to stop to take pictures. First time snorkeling had a blast at Cabo Pulma. Saw a sea turtle, a lobster and so many fish. Followed up with (fresh, catch of the day) fish tacos and a Pitaya (Dragon fruit) Margarita at Los Agaves. So good! Enjoyed the ride! So many beautiful sceneries! Hugo, you’re awesome!!
Our guide LUIS Is special , gentle , and he knows everything about nature and sea life. I reccomend you. Thank you The messican food , I mean TACOS QUESADILLAS and don’t forget dragon fruit MARGARITAS. DISFRUTA
Wonderful excursion with Jose Luis ! Very beautiful landscapes ! Strongly recommend ! José Luis is very kind and takes care of everything.
One of our best vacation days ever! Our guide Sol was friendly, informative and a joy to spend the day with. We recommend the long way back. The Sea of Cortez was gorgeous. Our lunch was delicious and Sol drove like a professional. What a day!
This tour was a great way to explore the east cape and Emilio was a great guide! His english is perfect and we also loved his music :)
Highlight of the trip to Cabo, highly recommend. Marco Polo was our tour guide. Tour and information was helpful, saw a lot of fish while snorkeling, food was great (tacos, salsa, guac).
Amillo was a terrific guide and always helped with answers to all our questions. Very patient with our autistic son and made sure to see if he was having fun as well. Ask for Amillo if you use this company for surfing, hiking, or taking the jeep tour
Luis was the best guide and driver. We had an amazing day driving around Cabo pulmo with local fishermen, empty beaches and we even spotted wales from the shore. 100% recommend. Reggaeton on the was back was cherry on top
We had a very enjoyable day exploring Los Cabos with our guide Emilio. The drive on the East Cape road was spectacular. We were not able to snorkel because of wind conditions at Playa Arbolitos (in Cabo Pulmo park) but instead did a short, very scenic, hike there. We then went to Santiago/Fox Canyon to walk some of the paths and see the waterfall. Lots of great desert and sea scenery!
We had a wonderful trip with Emilio. Beautiful scenery and fun off road drive to Cabo Pulmo. Good snorkeling even though a little choppy. Emilio was a champ and we snorkeled even though it wasn’t perfect conditions. DO NOT pass up lunch in Mira Flores. Delicious!!! I’ll book again next time I’m here, thank you for the fun day!!
My friends and I just finished this tour and wanted to leave a great review before we forgot (: Us three had a wonderful time with José Luis on this tour. The Jeep ride was fun and we saw a lot of fish during the snorkeling. The beach is super private and the waters were clean and clear. Jose is really nice and easy going, answered our questions and gave us a lot of recs for Cabo. The lunch spot had great tacos. Honestly no regrets doing this tour (:
What an amazing adventure!!! Our guide Louis was the BEST!! The drive was tons of fun, incredible views. We stopped for some really great photo ops along the coast, and even drove down ON the beach for a little while to get a closer look at the gorgeous surf and scenery. It was a bit far from the hotel zone where we were staying but worth the trip; Louis showed us the best spots to snorkel so we saw huge fish, big schools, many unique species and some turtles up close! June is apparently the worst time to come because it is not the season for any specific animal la but even so - what an incredible experience. We stopped on the way home for some of the most delicious fish tacos I’ve had in this whole trip, Louis picked us some fresh mangoes to enjoy and told us all about the local culture as well. With the right guide, this is well worth the trek!
Beautiful scenery and adventure. Ride was bumpy but beautiful and snorkeling requires good swimming skills so be aware when booking! Marco was an incredible guide. We really enjoyed spending the day with him on a customized tour catered to our needs. Offered stories and recommendations on local places, got us beers during a long journey, and spotted us for margaritas when we were out of cash. Marco really made our trip memorable!
Our guide Luis was excellent!! He took us off the beaten path, which we loved especially the great lunch spot!!
What I really enjoyed was the personal touch our tour guide provided. Jose Luis Soto was our tour guide and he tailored our tour for our needs. He was fantastic and I highly recommend him. This was the highlight our week in Cabo. Do not skip the Pitaya margarita!
My husband and I booked this tour in late October 2022, and it was one of the highlights of our trip!! The number 1 reason would be Maury, our awesome guide! He is such a friendly, energetic, and helpful person, and honestly aside from the snorkeling, just chatting with him about what living in Mexico is like was my favorite part of the tour!! The tour itself consisted of about a 2-hour drive out to Playa Arbolitos just outside of the national park. The road was dirt most of the time and we saw roadrunners, plenty of cows, and some incredible views along the way. My husband got to drive a little bit which he loved. We hit Playa Arbolitos at a good time because it was pretty empty. The snorkel gear-a mask and flippers-were freshly cleaned. We had almost 2 hours in the water, and it was both my husband's and my favorite part of our trip! The diversity of species in the reef was incredible. We even saw 3 sea turtles (or saw at least one multiple times haha)!!! A completely magical experience. The water was warm and very salty so swimming was easy. Then we headed back out and headed towards a cute taco spot in Miraflores, which is off the typical tourist track. By far the best baja fish tacos we ever had there!! We were back at our AirBnb around 3, very happy and tired from a busy day! This tour rocks, and you should definitely book it, and ask for Maury!!
Me and my kids had a great day The guides were really awesome The snorkeling was great saw all kinds of cool stuff
Unfortunately we didn’t get to do the planned excursion because of bad weather. But our amazing guide, Maury, gave us an amazing and super fun alternative experience! We even had tacos at the best taco place, 1& Only Taco in San Jose! Highly recommend! It proves that being flexible and going with the flow can bring tons of fun and new and unexpected experiences to life!
The team at High Tide were fun, friendly and knowledgeable. We felt like they valued our safety and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. Our guides were Marco, Luis and Maury- these guys were some of the best and had over 40yrs of service in the tourism industry combined. The jeep drive to Cabo Pulmo was gorgeous as expected. The guides gave local history and answered questions along the way. Also we stopped for pics a few times. Jeeps were taken care of, clean and had good AC- which we were Happy about! It was a long drive but enjoyable. Snorkeling at Cabo Pulmo did not disappoint!! We saw lots of fish, eels, slugs. The guys worked hard for our comfort and happiness and we enjoyed their company. The lunch included at Miraflores was delicious! We ate at Los Agaves and had local grown avocados, and fresh caught triggerfish tacos. Felt very authentic and we enjoyed ourselves so much! Our group was 14yrs up to 72yrs, a total of 9 people and some did not snorkel, but enjoyed the beautiful beach at Cabo Pulmo anyways. Would definitely tour with this team again! Note: road was bumpy and twisty and long. If you get car sick, take meds for prevention before. The snorkel site is somewhat remote, which is part of what is great about it. There are showers and bathrooms, and they were usable for sure, but obviously remote ;) You walk straight from the jeep to the beach for snorkeling and it was not too far of a walk. We could all do it, 70yr old knee replacements and all. Maybe 350ft of sand walking. Thanks again to High Tide and to Cabo San Lucas tours for helping us book.
