Holding plates with food plus a drink was not easy and if you are the parent also trying to manage the children't plate/food, it impossible to enjoy and eat. I would have less people on the boat so people had a place to set plates down and also have cup holders for drinks. I would also have a kid friendly menu like pizza, chicken nuggets, and french fries.

The pirate show was amazing!!! The workers put on a good show. Alejandra Pacheco was fantastic as the host she was very live and upbeat. Francia drake, Thomavs carvendish Juan de dios ,Gloria ,DJ Alex and Captain Jimmy definitely made the tour fun. Unfortunately, the rain and the high tide cut the tour short. I was very curious to see what else plans they had if the weather wasn't bad, But hey....it always a next time.
A fantastic pirate show, wonderful food delivered pirate style, good drinks, and gorgeous sunset views combined for a marvelous night! Do not miss it!
My emails said to arrive at 5:15pm for the show. The ship was already gone at 5:09pm I’m highly disappointed.
No smoking on board, but the fun never stops. Open bar, good food, great group of fierce but friendly Pirates.
We had a great time on this excursion. They picked us up on time; the transportation was safe and clean. We brought our 4-year-old son, and they did a great job accommodating him and making sure he had fun and felt special. The lead guide was excellent, making sure both Spanish and English speakers could understand the program. The food was surprisingly good - the pork was our favorite. We also loved the photos they took of us during the cruise - this was extra, but they were good quality and captured the fun of the evening.
Fun time in Cabo San Lucas! The crew was outstanding and the performance was very entertaining! Food was good and the drinks were flowing! A must do when in Cabo! Shout out to the crew for great time!
We went on the pirate ship several years ago and had a much better experience as far as interaction with our grandkids, better food and drink and we could stand up and move around the ship. This trip was disappointing.
Loved it!!!! Highly recommend it!!
Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to pay $25 for premium liquor. We declined that. When we were boarding, there were three shifts available we were put on a ship that had small children on that. Shortly after boarding they went around and passed out beer without asking anyone what wanted to drink. Ben gave us one Paloma a plate and started shoveling food on our plate from a bucket. When they ask us for another drink,we accepted, but we never received it after asking multiple times the show had a lot to be desired with a beer, drinking contest, acknowledging birthdays, and anniversaries, and a short sword fight with fire and brain break dancers. They did not go up to Pacific side like all the other Sunset cruises that I have been on the last 25 years. They just sailed around by Lands’ End and on the sea of Cortez side disappointing. Don’t spend your money. Before going back to the marina, they asked specifically for 20 and $50 bill bills for tips. Very poor taste again would not recommend.
From Sketchy to Spectacular! A Must-Do in Cabo! I’ll admit, when we first arrived for our pirate cruise aboard the Buccaneer Queen, we were a little skeptical. We weren’t quite sure what we had gotten ourselves into! Boy, were we wrong! The cruise started with a beautiful trip out to Land’s End and the famous Cabo Arch. They made sure everyone had an opportunity to take their own pictures, and there was also a professional photographer available if you wanted some great shots to remember the evening. After our photo opportunity, we enjoyed dinner while cruising along the beautiful Cabo coastline. But the real highlight was still to come! As the sun began to set, the pirate crew came alive, and what followed was an incredible show full of dancing, music, action, and entertainment. These weren’t just people dressed up as pirates going through the motions. Every single member of that crew gave 100%! The energy, enthusiasm, choreography, and effort they put into entertaining everyone aboard were absolutely amazing. What impressed us most was how hard these people worked. They weren’t just putting on a show; they were genuinely giving it everything they had to make sure everyone had a memorable experience. We believe in tipping for great service, and let me tell you, this crew earned every dollar we tipped them! Their hard work and dedication deserved to be recognized. We went aboard wondering if we’d made a mistake and walked off completely impressed! If you’re visiting Cabo San Lucas, don’t judge this adventure by your first impression. Give it a chance, enjoy the scenery, and wait until those pirates take over the ship! Five stars from us! The Buccaneer Queen crew deserves every one of them! 🏴☠️🌅
I’ll start with the positives. The pirate show was cool. My kids enjoyed watching the pirates run around and perform. The fire aspects were cool. The boat ride itself was nice and the scenery was obviously beautiful. On to the rest. When we first arrived we were talked into paying for an upgrade for premium beverages as well as early boarding. I didn’t care that much about the premium beverages but I did want to board early so I could secure good seats for my kids. We did get good seats so I was happy about that. The premium drinks thing was total bullcrap however. My daughter ordered a lemonade and the person taking drink orders just disappeared and never came back. It took FOREVER to get drinks. I finally went over to the bartender to request her lemonade and was met with SO MUCH attitude. Im watching all of these adults get served pina coladas and beers, etc and my kid doesn’t even have a water or lemonade. The bartender was rude AF and the main chick on the microphone actually had the nerve to come over to us and tell me to be patient. Like please, screw off. Ridiculous. What did I pay extra money for???? Premium was such a crock of poo. I found several people to just be so rude. Like Im not supposed to approach the bartender (although many people were) but also no one is bringing us drinks. The food was very basic. The meat was tough and dry. It was edible thankfully but that’s about it.
The Pirate Dinner Show was just okay. They drinks were plenty which was nice. They served alot for dinner which you hold on your lap. The biggest disappointment was that most of the talking on the mic was in Spanish and very little in English. So we didn't understand most of what was said.
Experience was okay but would not do it again. They pack so many people on the boat while they do the show, serve drinks and the food. The food was subpar as well nothing great the meats were all overcooked and the mashed potatoes were very bland. Difficult to eat a full meal on a rocking boat while trying not to spill anything on the person next to you. You are packed like sardines they only leave enough room in the middle of the ship to do their pirate show.
We got to the marina 40min ahead like the reservations said but NO one told us we had to get a ticket so after standing in line we had to rush and get our ticket, which I thought the Viator ticket was our ticket but it wasn’t! We ended up being the last ones on the ship and didn’t get to sit with our family of six. Very disappointed! Meal was so so, service on drink delivery was slow, show was ok, wouldn’t need to go again.
Perfect choice! Great experience, staff is wonderful and so friendly. The show was so cool. Food is good, very well organized experience. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.
My wife and had so much fun thank you
Horrible, and I am very easy to please. More of a party boat experience with pirates walking around. Boat doesn’t really sail if floats and sticks near all other party boats so you hear all this loud music from all boats along with your boat. Not for children… all about shots drinks etc. Better off renting a private boat for you and your children and just looking at the pirate boat.
We had a great time on the pirate ship. The food was incredible. The drinks never stopped flowing. The crew was very entertaining, beautiful views.
Hard to eat and drink but pirate crew were very fun and engaging. The views were wonderful and the show entertaining.
Great crew who made everything so much fun and inclusive. The main character was so personable. Loved it.
Great experience, the group made it fun!
This was SO much fun. It may not be the best for small children for two reasons; one is the fire show (made my SIL very nervous) and the other is that you sit on a bench with no table for dinner. You have do hold your plate, drink and eat. The show was really fun though. I would do this again.
It’s a awesome experience. Live music entertainment. Just wanna know that the food is not that great. Just make sure you come with a full stomach. but everything else is an awesome experience. Highly recommended.
I think if you have kids, this is a fun trip. I was never offered drinks other than the one when we boarded. After that, I was finally asked about 15 minutes into the ride, and then never received it. I was sitting towards the back near the bar but I felt with all the pirates walking around, it made it a little hard to get up to go to the bar yourself. I think they preferred that the passengers stayed put. The food was like eating at a Luby's but with way less quality and a little cold. I even found the bread a little stale. As for the show itself, it was very entertaining once dinner was done and the sun set. They are extremely athletic and acrobatic making it enjoyable as they flipped around and came down from up high. Even the MC Alexandra (?) had so much positive energy and was fun.
We were initially a little wary because some negative reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good. The drinks ok. The views were amazing. The show was exhilarating. A little pricey perhaps but we think worth it. They also give you option for transportation. We recommend it as it made the process very simple. Our only complaint, if we can call it that, is that it gets a little crowded on the boat and I think some places make the show harder to watch. Nothing too terrible though.
We enjoyed the experience, dinner was great, the pirate show was a combination of acrobatics, fire dancing breakdancing and sword fighting. Highly recommend as a night out to see the Arch, enjoy the sunset and have some lovely views.
A really fun experience and worth the price of admission. It was about $100 a person, but with it you got basically all you wanted to drink plus all you wanted to eat, and the food was pretty darn good. You also got a really cool show put on by the crew who did acrobatics and fake sword fighting with flaming swords and sticks, which was very entertaining. Furthermore, the female guide spoke excellent Spanish and English and would immediately repeat everything in both languages so that all could understand. The boat was pretty full and this group probably made a lot of money, but it was a fun experience and would recommend it at least once to anyone. Of course, we went out to the Rocket Gateway at the end of Cabo. Can't remember what it's called, but everybody knows what I'm talking about. Got some great pictures there and ate a good meal. And saw a great show. A very rewarding experience.
I did this event a couple of years ago, so we knew what to expect. We were as pleased with the meal and show as before. I am physically challenged, so we boarded first, which was a relief. They had the whole boat dancing at the end. It was a great time.
Staff were super friendly, food and drinks onboard were good, and the show was pretty amazing. Definitely recommend it.
This show was the greatest entertainment experience I've seen in Cabo! The music was excellent! The lights and energy was top notch. The food and drinks are plentiful and delicious. The actors can immerse the crowd in the show! Then we all dance afterwards! The crew is extremely attentive. Even the bathrooms are clean!! 5 star experience!
Great fun, really top class performance. We were expecting some fun pirate antics, but had professional acrobatics that were beyond expectations
The meeting point is about as far as you can get in the marina, so take a water taxi or prepare to walk a bit! We had a really good time. Didn't get the VIP upgrade offered and honestly didn't feel like we missed out on anything. There are two pirate ships, we were on the Buccaneer Queen. The entertainers were wonderful and engaging. Drinks were free flowing. You eat dinner on your lap while hanging on while the ship moves around so prepare for that. My son and I (and others) got a little seasick, so we didn't eat much. The actual show after dark was very entertaining! Be prepared to offer a tip at the end. We had fun, but its a one and done for us.
10/10 experience! Was so fun and entertaining, we got there early and sat right infront of all the action. The drinks and food were a great plus as well.
The experience was great from the moment we walked to get on the ship. The entertainment before we sailed was good. However, we waited for a minute before any action began. The food was not too tasty for me but the show was amazing.
This is a great restaurant to go and experience with delicious food! As well to celebrate birthdays! Awesome staff and very welcoming
Great personalities and fun fire show! We had 9 of us there and it was a great way to celebrate some birthdays.
Loved the high energy of the crew, the show was great. Food and drinks were plenty and delicious.
We had family members from ages 8 months -61 years on the excursion and we all enjoyed the boat ride, food and show. The only thing I might do a little differently next time is to pay attention to where the speakers were located and be further from them. I understand it needs to be loud so everyone can hear amidst the ocean waves, but it startled the baby a few times when they would start up after it was quiet for a time. Would definitely do again.
Ship cruise, dinner drinks and entertainment amazing. But for organizer not to tell you that you need to go to check in and wait in line 60 min just ruins your hole day. If l had my online ticket and they can't validate them without paper ticket in your hand than you should put this in terms. Would not use you in the future. Regards
Great experience! Highly recommend. The staff and performers are super attentive to your experience and do an excellent job. The pirate fight is great!
We have been doing sunset cruises in Cabo for about 5 years now, and this was our first Pirate sunset cruise. We had a blast. Very entertaining and loads of fun. Our host was Capt, Shark, and he really hosted a great show. The entire crew was amazing, respectful and fun. Highly recommended for the family. The food was tasty as well. We had BBQ chicken and beef, w coleslaw, veggies and mashed potatoes. pirate-food :-) we definitely will do this again. Thank you Capt. Shark - from Los Angeles, Marruecos and Panama :-)
So much fun!!! I took my two teen boys - tough critics- and they had a great time! The crew was funny and entertaining and these pirates have world class break dancing skills. The food was good too! They celebrated all the birthday folks and anniversary couples. Very interactive. Sit in the middle if you want to be part of the action.
It was extremely windy which made it hard to enjoy. By the time the food came around if you waited to eat it as a meal it was somewhat cold. The show was OK and we are not drinkers so that’s probably why it wasn’t five stars for us.
The food is just plain awful! Show was excellent! The filling of time was just boring... the music and dancing was ok!
Definitely get there 40 minutes prior to get your paper ticket. Easy to find and communication via the app was great!
Excellent excursion for adults and kids. Such talented staff! Great food and drinks for a decent price.
Fun show, took a 10 person group and had a good time. Dinner was a challenge on a moving boat, fill your kids up before.
It was worth every penny!!! They celebrate your birthday, anniversary with you. The crew is so happy, helpful and attentive to your needs and experience! We have friends that will be in Cabo in January and this is a MUST DO!!
Fun time for the kids, the food was mediocre and cold. We couldn't even drink the margaritas they were so bad
