Los Cabos Snorkeling Tour By Speed Boat With Photos Included

The Team was superb…Provided snorkeling instruction to my Daughter which was appreciated!! Also, Team did a great job of ensuring we were safe throughout the trip.

We did the snorkel tour with Leo and captain muñeco. Leo was super knowledgeable and fun to spend 3 hours with. The captain also navigated the waters seamlessly. No getting sick. We saw a ton of different fish in the water and the reef spot we stopped at was great. They took some photos and video of us, including stopping at the arch (el arco). We are hoping we can get those from them at some point, but forgot to ask.

Extremely professional and accommodating to our needs. Our guide and captain were great with explaining the areas we visited and the wildlife/aquatic life that we got to see. We even got to see a whale!

Our family had a fantastic experience with Diana and Captain Pedro with Baja Vikings Ecoventures! We did the 3 hour snorkel tour of Cabo San Lucas and although the waters were rough that day, they figured out the best place to snorkel in Chileno Bay. Diana captured pictures and videos of our adventure. It's a smaller company and therefore able to cater to individual needs. We've been on other snorkel tours in Cabo, but they always felt like party-boats with snorkeling as an afterthought. This company is all about the actual adventure and interaction with marine life. The company is a short taxi/Uber ride to the marina and super easy to find. We want to do their 4 hour snorkel safari next time we're in town! This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Cabo! The speed boat ride was thrilling and gave us a unique view of the coastline. Once we got to the snorkeling spot, the water was crystal clear and filled with vibrant marine life—it felt like swimming in an aquarium! The crew was super friendly, professional, and made us feel safe the entire time. We loved that photos were included—it allowed us to focus on the experience without worrying about capturing it ourselves. Such a fantastic trip. There was a schedule conflict so we combined whale watching with snorkeling. Lou was an amazing guide, very enthusiastic and always excited to see the whales too. We saw a lot of whales and a pod of dolphins. Snorkeling was wonderful, saw a few white tip reef sharks and a lot of beautiful fish. Amenelo was a great captain and got us good views of the whales

We had the best captain and crew, and we loved whale watching and touring Cabo. They took us to a great snorkeling spot away from the crowds, where we saw white-tipped reef sharks, other fish, and sea urchins. I highly recommend this tour to friends and family.

These guys were fantastic! The sights they took us too, the less crowded snorkeling area, we were able to see whales and stingrays closer than any of us had expected. So accommodating and friendly plus the included pictures were awesome.

Amazing tour with the Baja Viking team! We had Luen and Ivan as our guides. Ivan guided the boat and got us close for some excellent whale watching. Luen provided us with insights into the local eco-systems and city. Our trip was amazing for our family (9 YO & 5 YO). Highly Recommend!

We did the 9am snorkeling tour and loved it! We were lucky enough to see 2 humpback whales, sea turtles, sea lions and a ton of colorful fish! The crew was awesome! Because it’s a small group, within a few minutes you feel like you’re all friends. The photos included are professional photos. They came out amazing! I tried to upload them but they’re too large in size. MUST DO!

Fun boat ride and very friendly guides. The water was very rough as it was the day after a storm but the guys got us to the snorkel spot and we were able to see lots of cool fish and a ray and a shark. The ride back my daughter got sick and they were very kind about it. The pictures and videos the guide took were really neat to have as a keepsake

This was my family's second time with Baja Vikinig, they exceeded our expectations and we had the best time. Liz and Mario have done an excellent job with the staff, our tour guide and captain on this trip were the best. I won't go snorkeling with anyone else in Cabo!

The boat driver was drunk and the guide was really nice but he did not teach us absolutely anything in the sense of how to use gear or how to actually snorkel so if you mind finding everything out yourself and drinking a gallon of salt water due to really bad equipment go ahead

We had a great time with this crew snorkeling! Small boat with just our family and the crew made sure to take care of us and share some cool facts along the way. LOTS of time in the water snorkeling and went to a less crowded spot where we were the only ones in the water! 10/10 would do it again with this crew!

The entire trip just went flawlessly thanks to our guide Mario. For first time visitors in Cabo we weren't quite sure how best to find our boat for the snorkeling tour. Mario was amazing at finding and guiding us towards the assigned dock. From the very beginning Mario was super personable and made us feel at ease. You could tell that he was passionate about marine life. He shared stories and histories about Cabo, brought us to the famous arch before taking us to the reef where we did our snorkeling adventure. There, he would point out different species of fishes, starfish and sharks. On the way back, we shared stories about travels, scuba diving and whale season. My friends and I agree that it was an overall amazing experience. Hoping to one day make our way back to Cabo and do intend to seek out Mario and Baja Viking Ecoventures for more adventures.

I looked at many snorkeling trips out of Cabo and chose this one because I didn’t want a party boat and I wanted to spend some good time snorkeling. The trip was amazing! The snorkeling was amazing! Everyone was so kind and took great care of us I felt totally safe. Plus, the boat was super fun. The snorkeling guides pointed out different kinds of fish. We saw reef sharks and they even let me hold a little seahorse. On the way back, we were treated to spectacular show by a mother whale and a baby humpback whale.I highly recommend this option.

Peter and Alex are great!! It was a very personalized trip and we saw a ton of whales up close!!!! The meeting point is very obscure, as mentioned by others, but they found us when we couldn’t find them!!!

Our experience with Baja Vikings could not have been better. Mario was welcoming, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to take care of the six passengers, including my two kids ages 11 and 14. The snorkeling at Chileno Bay was terrific and we were able to see a number of whales on the way back to the marina. I would absolutely choose Baja Vikings again for a Cabo excursion.

After getting a runaround from our resort's "concierge" we finally did our own search and found these guys. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable, and so was the captain. We saw a lot of whales, and were as close as we could get without disturbing them. The snorkel spot was wonderful -- as my GoPro stills will testify! Coming back, we spotted a gathering of boats that was highly indicative of whale watching, so the captain pulled back on the throttle so that we could join them. Let me tell you -- two 200 hp. Yamaha outboards move that RIB boat nicely! So here's what we got: A tour that left on time by Mexican standards. A well found boat with proper safety equipment and a qualified captain and crew. All the whale watching we could want. More than enough snorkeling, and with really good equipment. Some great sight-seeing from the water. The ability to just stay in the area for dinner and just Uber back to our resort. The promised photos of our trip a few days later. Here's what we didn't get: Hosed. (Financially) An overpriced bus or van ride on a rigid schedule. Now, if you're in the area, this is the place to go for snorkeling and whale watching!

This is the second season in a row doing a tour with Baja Vikings and it is the only company I will ever use. The guide and captain are very knowledgeable and courteous and make you feel personally welcome versus just being another tourist. Their boats are the best for the types of tours they do and the free photos are a huge bonus. Again, this was a top-notch experience and a solid way to go for any tour you might select.

This was an absolutely amazing snorkeling trip! Fernando and Mario were so great and so knowledgeable. They took so many pictures which were all included. We saw so many turtles on the way out to the snorkeling area and we even got to swim with a baby shark! This was the highlight of our week in Cabo! Must do!

Fantastic experience! This is the perfect excursion for the family. Our captain and the guide were funny, friendly, and knowledgable. My kids (6 and 9 years old) were having so much fun snorkeling. We saw many schools of fish, and even a spotted eagle ray! The guide inspired my daughter to try free diving and he also gave her some tips how to do it right. Everyone in my family was very happy with the trip. We enjoyed it without worrying about taking the pictures since it offers the photo packages. I got to say the photos we received are very well done. Highly Recommended!

This is a must-do while in Cabo! Liz and Mario were fabulous. We never felt rushed, and Liz was so knowledgeable about the surrounding area. So thankful that she took photos for us so we could just be in the moment. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

I did a fair amount of research trying to find a boat tour with a emphasis on quality snorkeling. To be honest, I don’t really care about the alcohol or food or the party aspect that some of the other boats seem to offer. I also really loved that this group offered photos as part of the package. I was understandably a little nervous because they aren’t as big as other companies but I had high expectations going into the cruise. We started the day with Fernando who informed us that we (my wife and I) would be the only people on the boat as another group had last minute cancelled. Fernando (our guide) and Miguel (captain) were fantastic. They took the time to take us to the lovers beach, arc, divorce beach and take photos. Then Fernando heard from another guide that whales had been spotted in the area (not meant to be part of our tour) he and Miguel raced us over (yes the boat is truly a speedboat) and we were lucky enough to see 2 different pairs of humpback whales. Completely unexpected (late in season) and awesome. We were the first boat to get to the whales in both instances. Fernando explained to us the behavior of the whales and biology while taking photos of the whales and us. We then departed to Chileno Bay for snorkeling (also seeing some jumping manta rays along the way.) when in the bay, Fernando used his go pro to get footage of all the fish and of myself and wife. We saw octopus, shark, plenty of different kinds of fish, coral, and as we were just about to leave a spotted eagle ray. Fernando spent extra time taking footage of this rare sighting. When we got in the boat to head back, he was so excited and passionate about telling us about his experiences free diving and helping us to identify the fish we saw. I would 100% go out with this team again. We had a fantastic experience. Fernando said more than a handful of times that we got unusually lucky with the marine wildlife we saw. That being said, even if we were unfortunate and did not see much, the crew of Fernando and Miguel were so great to work with and clearly take pride in making sure that we have the best experience possible, that it would still be worth it.

We loved having a private boat! Fernando took us to an exclusive spot where we were the only ones there, and the snorkeling was amazing! We even saw a whale on our way there and it’s not even whale season. Thank you for the fun adventure!

Amazing couple and amazing experience. Catered to our whole crew (7yo -63 yo). Amazing knowledge about the area, the fish and history. The pictures are phenomenal. It may be a little more pricy than the average snorkeling adventure in Cabo San Lucas, but well worth the money.

Mario and Liz were absolutely exceptional! I went with my family and my niece and nephew, who are 7. We were able to take pictures in front of the arch as a family and went to Chileno Bay for snorkeling. Mario and Liz both helped the kids the entire time to make sure they were comfortable. Our family visits Cabo every summer and will be back to see Mario and Liz again!

Liz and Mario go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible. They know the area are great for all group types and provide great pictures and videos as part of the upfront cost. WE will be back and use them again for sure!

I absolutely recommend this tour! Mario and Coco did an amazing job, especially for our son (10) who didn't have any experience with snorkeling yet. We all had a great time, and the boat is amazing!

Best day ever! Mario and his team were amazing! They took the time to ask us what we wanted to do and then added their expertise opinions, which we of course took. Along the adventure they shared so much history and info about Cabo. We also made a quick stop to help some lost divers until their boat arrived and Mario explained how/why they were in that situation. We all agreed that we would have done the same thing and by the look on the diver's faces, they were very grateful too. From the private beaches that weren't even private to the special treatment of the crew and the pictures that captured moments of a lifetime, we will 100% be using them again when we return!

We had a Much needed day on the water. Mario was a great guide. The snorkeling was awesome. Mario was so passionate sharing great stories and wonderful snorkeling sites. He chose places that were not over crowded. We will for sure be going back.

We met Mario back in June 2021 and while having a conversation with him, he mentioned that he and his wife Liz had an ecoventures company. We then began speaking about whale watching and how incredible it is. Fast forward to April 2022, my family and I were coming back to Cobo and I reached out to Mario to inquire if it was too late to see the whales and to our delight, it wasn't. So we booked a trip and I am so glad we did. Mario's wife Liz was a fabulous guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made the experience exceptional. The best part, maybe 10 minutes in, we were lucky enough to find a mother and baby whale frolicking in the water. We followed both mom and baby for an hour. Yes, one hour. The baby was incredibly active, coming out of the water every few minutes. It was like he/she was showing off for the crowd. But the icing on top was when the mom decided to make an appearance and jumped out of the water. It was by far the most majestic, magical, incredible thing I have ever seen in my life. She was MASSIVE. Seriously, massive and that was probably only 1/3 of her body. The adventure was 100% worth it. If debating whether whale watching is for you....do not hesitate, it was the most incredible experience ever. Thank you Liz for being such a gracious guide. Our family will cherish this memory forever!

I took a snorkeling tour with Baja Vikings and the service couldn't have been better. Liz and Mario did everything they could to make me feel very comfortable, plus the boat is clean and fairly well maintained. Next year I will definitely do the whale watching tour with them!
