Shaggy and Oscar did a great job and were very helpful. I really enjoyed this excursion.

My wife and I did the snorkeling tour on September 23. We enjoyed it overall: the views were spectacular, the equipment was generally good, and the rest of the crew was friendly. Of the activities we booked during our trip, though, this was the one I enjoyed the least. After snorkeling, we were given the power snorkels while still in the water. The transition was confusing: we had already removed our masks and fins, and Luis had not told us whether we would need to keep them on. He and the captain even seemed to disagree about that. While trying to put my gear back on, I climbed onto the board to adjust it, slipped, and the board lightly bumped another guest. It was an accident, but Luis’s response left me feeling embarrassed rather than helped. At another point, I asked him about a fish we saw, and his answer felt dismissive instead of informative. Clearer instructions and a kinder approach would have made a real difference. Later, when one of my paddles was damaged, Luis questioned why I couldn’t continue with just one; another crew member stepped in and brought me a replacement. I also found the power snorkel uncomfortable and slow to maneuver, so I only used it briefly. We had hoped for snorkeling photos, but were told there would be no photographer because only two couples had booked. Despite these disappointments, we still enjoyed the tour and its beautiful scenery. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
Victoria (La mera mera de las quesadillas) and Issac, are the best! This was a great experience overall. They’re kind, professional, clean, friendly, and amazing! Thank you!
Did the snorkel and land's end tour. Daniel, Oscar, Alexis, Ishmael (spellcheck) were great. We were the only one's booked so got to call the shots on what we did. Snorkeling experience was excellent, no rays but wide variety of fish to watch. Slight current but not overwhelming. Also had paddleboards, kayaks, and scooters at our disposal. Guides were very sociable and helpful in answering all our questions about Cabo and made us feel safe. Photographer took excellent pictures. Boat ride from lands end to snorkel spot gave you a solid view of the Cabo area. Would do this again, worth the price.
Alexi was a very fun tour guide for the speedboat and snorkel excursion. I loved learning about Cabo on the tour. The snorkeling was really fun as well. The cheese quesadillas at the end of the tour were so amazing! One of my favorite meals. The crew took really great care of us during the speed boat ride.
Amazing experience. Our guides were fantastic and the snorkeling was breathtaking. We got to see manta rays and dolphins. Would highly recommend this experience
Luis was fabulous. Our boat captain and photographer were awesome as well. Highly recommend!
Louis was great, friendly and very knowledgable. I’m would recommend him as your guide! Unfortunately, the weather conditions weren’t very good and a lot of the people on the boat did not feel well, so that did not make the adventure so great but the guide was amazing! .
Great experience. Water conditions were challenging and made several on our boat sick. Luis and Julio made changes on the fly in an attempt to help all of us out. They were great. The tour and information provided was awesome. The office and waiting area is cool and clean. Would definitely use this company again.
Took this tour with guides Luis and Julio. Scenery was beautiful and we saw a lot of fish while snorkeling. The boat ride and tour around the arch was great and guided Luis provided a lot of information about the area. The ride out to the snorkel area was a little bumpy due to the weather but the guides assured the group were were safe and we had a blast! Some members of the group got seasick and Luis and Julio did everything in their power (including a willingness to adjust the itinerary) to support those feeling ill while still providing a fun time for those ready to get back in the water and enjoy the festivities.
Danny made the entire experience wonderful! He is attentive, funny, experienced and very knowledgeable. Definitely would go again the next time were in Cabo!
Joel is an excellent guide and Alex did amazing with the pictures. The captain was also very good.
Excellent guides (From cruise port to the boat). Daniel was great! Fun and enjoyable for a family adventure. Snorkeling was so clear and the speedboat was fun. Make sure you can swim well and for an hour if you want to really enjoy it.
This was an amazing experience. I’d highly recommend this adventure. We got to see whales, and experience the beautiful waters with snorkeling and paddle boarding.
We took the tour this morning with 4 amazing tour guides led by Issac. Very knowledgeable and fun tour. Excellent guides however would recommend not doing the sea scooters. Son’s trunk straps got caught and was quite scary.
They did not disclose the Portuguese Man o’ War jellyfish problem until we were out on the water. Complete waste of money. The sting is bad and they actually allowed/encouraged us to get into the water to snorkel. Almost all of us were badly stung and we were unable to get to power snorkel after we were all suffering in pain. No monetary adjustment was offered and not even free pictures or any kind of compensation. We should have been told when booking the excursion of this high probability of failure to adequately and safely complete the tour. If we had been warned, we would not have chosen the event. This was obviously about money to the business instead of safety of participants. This was poor management and we would not recommend this excursion at this time of infestation of the jellyfish in almost all of the swim-able waters. Poor customer service from start to finish.
We enjoyed a speedboat tour to the arch followed by snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding!! We had a blast! Shaggy was our guide! Saw many fish. Following the excursion we were provided quesadillas! So glad we went! 10 out of 10 experience!
Great experience. Daniel and Rodrigo were great help and made the whole experience super enjoyable.
Started with sight seeing and then a lengthy boat ride to the snorkeling spot. There for about 30 minutes or so and then off to another spot where we had the option to continue snorkeling, kayak, or paddleboard. Not the best area since a few from our group were stung by jellyfish but the tour guides took care of everyone immediately and we're in immediate danger. After that, we went back to the pier and took a short walk to finish off with homemade quesadillas at a restaurant that had clean restrooms, ice cream, and drinks.
Amazing time and the team was great ! Helpful and friendly . Great for a couple’s adventure. Would highly recommend!
Daniel alfero were great guide and captain Lots of reef fish got to try snorkel scooter for first time - fun!
This is my first and only snorkeling / boating trip in Cabo, so I truly hope others with different companies are not this awful. I was given a discounted ticket to their most basic experience - which still costs almost $80 - and with absolutely nothing included. I love a small speed boat, especially for a short trip like this one was, but you have absolutely nowhere to store anything or keep it out of the hot sun. Prepare to be rushed (told to jump in the water only when you’ve just arrived and trying to put sunscreen on or told to walk to the dock now when trying to put sunscreen on after just arriving or trying to go to the bathroom in the 5 minutes they are giving you for everything because like lack of communication they also lack time management), accommodated at the minimum (offered only water at the very end), and to be charged for every little thing from towels to pictures. They did include a “lunch” which was actually a tasty homemade corn tortilla, with cheese and beans (they made mine vegan for me) - but overall maybe a value of $2 - just to keep your basic needs met. They do not explain your entitle day and fail to leave out when you will arrive, leave from the boat, or return back to your hotel - basic communication is not given and so I was left waiting around for 30+ minutes with nothing to do, and having to drive separately to get to the dock as the driver left without me at 8:55 when they had said meet at 8:50, leave at 9. I was outside at 8:56 due to trying to find the meeting point. Overall they could care less about you having a good experience, they truly only care about making money off of you, and the guide and photographer had a skill level of 1/10. Photos were so bad (trying to charge $35 per picture!) and we barely saw any fish or marine life in the water snorkeling. Our boat driver actually saw dolphins and this was the highlight! He was the best part of the whole trip! My first snorkel mask was leaky - you can tell they are so cheap. They put dawn dish soap as anti fog - my entire nose was burning the entire experience because of this and I probably inhaled so many toxins. Just use water and baby oil - it’s still cheap and works much better! All in all - tourist trap that I fell for - the “arch”, “lovers beach”, etc - all just trying to make money off of you. It’s nothing special, don’t waste your money here. Rude staff, they aren’t enjoyable, knowledgeable, and just want money from you - and they quite literally will leave you behind!
We booked with Carnival Cruise line. Shaggy and Aurelio were great and entertaining. I loved that they gave us the information about the arch and structures around the area. I’m not a very good swimmer and shaggy helped me get around and reassured me that he’s there in case I needed help. We had a little time at the end of the ride back. Aurelio stopped briefly to see if we can spot whales and we did. Yay!!! Thank you. I will definitely recommend you guys to friends and family.
Daniel was an awesome guide and Oscar was a wonderful captain. The day went off without a hitch and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. 100% would recommend.
Guide and staff were excellent. Very helpful and informative. They even stopped on the way out to the snorkeling location to let us watch and photograph whales that were breaching and on the way back to photograph seals that had taken over one of the docks. Very friendly people and a great snorkeling area with a beautiful reef and a lot of fish that seemed to swim right up to us. Highly recommend if you enjoy snorkeling.
Very fun! Definitely for kids that know how to swim well. There's no going to the shore or beach play, so all the water activities require you to slide right off the boat into the water. We brought our 8, 10 & 12 year old. Our 8 year old didn't do any snorkeling, as the mask and flippers were a little too difficult for him to figure out. It was tough for our others to transition from the water to a kayak or paddle board (tethered to a different boat that's anchored near by), so we opted for the double seater kayak so I could get in first, then my husband could help lift a kid to me. Most of the time is spent traveling in the speed boat to get to where you do the water activities (I believe our host, Isa(?), said it took 25 minutes 1 way). Loved snorkeling and looking at all the little fish and coral reefs below! The views are gorgeous. The ride was refreshing on a hot, sunny day. Wish I had time to do the power scooter, but we were too concentrated on tending to our kids. It looked like a lot of fun! The quesadillas and beans were delicious. It was neat to see all the other kinds of activities that cabo adventures offers too, at their meet up place on the marina. You get to peruse their gift shop, can order coffee or gelato, and even peel through the port holes of their aquarium to possible see a dolphin.
We spent a great afternoon in the Sea of Cortez enhancing our snorkeling experience with the powered underwater scooters. Our guides were great and we look forward to doing it again.
Guides were great, knowledgeable, and friendly. Showed us a great time on the reef. Gave everyone individualized attention to meet their need for a great experience.
We did a 3 in 1: snorkel, paddle board, kayak, which was just lovely! 10/10 would recommend! Also of note it was me and my elementary age daughter, both Isaac and RJ were wonderful with her, both in making sure she had what she needed but also care and kindness in a new experience for her. We incidentally got to see whales breaching and playing, which was WONDERFUL! Definitely will be back and I will look for these two gentlemen!
Great experience for sure! Booked with our Air Canada Vacations rep at our resort. Speed boat was fun. Captain Mike was super as he both on the way there and the way back sped up/turned off course so we could see the breaching whales. When we saw dolphins he created waves for them to have fun jumping. Made our trip! Saw a lot of fun fish while snorkeling. Thank you to Isaac for being a great tour guide.
Went with Carlos and Oscar. Had a great time. Awesome visibility, amazing coral, tons and tons of fish of different species. We even got to see a humpback whale on the way out. Delicious quesadillas at the end to boot. I didn't get a chance to try the sea scooters, but I didn't even mind because the snorkeling was so fun.
Shaggy and Gustavo were great!! It was a ton of fun.
Amazing trip and the team went above and beyond. Mario was our guide and he was so nice and knowledgeable. We had a phone that fell from a waterproof lanyard and Mario spent 25 mins searching for it in 10 meters of water and found it much to our relief. Snorkelling is great but the staff make this trip worthwhile. We saw whales and the RIB was a great way to see the coastline Five stars from us
Great Snorkeling experience with a wide variety of marine life! Chill boat ride with the opportunity to see multiple whales jumping out very close to our boat!
Gustavo and Julio were excellent! Riding in the boat was fun and we saw dolphins and a humpback whale, went snorkeling and kayaking and finished the excursion with some delicious quesadillas!
The boat ride out to snorkel was beautiful and we saw whales. They slowed down at the rocks by Cabo to point out famous landmarks & then it was a 20 minute ride out to Chileno Bay to snorkel, kayak or paddle board. The captain & crew were so patient & helpful with our family. We saw whales on our way back & the captain was very patient while we watched. The quesadilla and beans were served when we got back to the marina. Also, we felt like this boat/raft handled the ocean water really nicely.
Our your guide Danny was awesome! He knew what he was talking about and went above and beyond! Highly recommend!
We had a great time on this excursion. There was no power snorkel as advertised. We snorkeled and used the stand up paddle boards and kayak. It was so fun and we had a great crew. We saw whales on our drive back into shore! It was amazing!
Excellent staff Danny who took us snorkeling and Captain Guel who went out of his way to find whales! We saw several pods and it was a real treat!
The best tour ever. We had such care and they really made it such a special experience for us. Really had a blast
great time and sight seeing, whale watching ( extra) Daniel -guide and speed boat captain luis. kept the activity safe, interesting and fun. very informative and friendly , didn’t rush the excursion. We highly recommend this activity for families, couples or singles.
We did the 3 in 1 sup/kayak/snorkel Cabo and it was amazing! We started off by looking at the arches with a million other boats which was fun and exciting to see. Then we went down the coast to a bay to do our activities. On the way we saw whales and dolphins. The captain would stop and let us watch for a minute. The bay we went to only had one other group there. The snorkeling was amazing! The water was so clear! So many fish!! They only had 3 SUP boards unfortunately and 2 of them didn’t have fins so they were hard to paddle but that’s a small detail. The kayaks and snorkels were in good condition. This was a well run tour. Very responsible crew. Would highly recommend and I can’t wait to bring my kids back with me next time!
The boat crew was phenomenal!!! We were able to whale watch on the way. Will definitely do again
Dani and Shaggy were amazing tour guides! Shaggy took us to see amazing views close up of whales.
Captain shaggy and Danny were the best of the best hosts. They went out of their way to find some whales for us to see, which wasn’t in the description of the excursion. Super friendly and cool. Loved them.
This would have been fun if they did not play gangster rap the entire time. When I complained. They said it is a public boat and another passenger paid for the music. Ridiculous.
Gustavo was amazing as our tour guide we saw so much wildlife and it was truly beautiful, 10 out of 10 give this man a raise he deserves it
Giovani was our guide for this excursion and he was great. It was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had snorkeling. With his knowledge he guided us to a spot that was full of fish. We even saw Eagle Rays! We also tried stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and water scooters. In our way back to shore we stopped and whale watched as a bonus! Lastly, we had some delicious homemade corn tortillas made into quesadillas. All in all a wonderful experience, we would go again and we would recommend it to everyone!
Adrian and Captain Chicken were amazing and we had a crazy good experience. They took us to the beautiful arches, whale watching like 120 feet from breaching hump back whales, then to snorkel near the bay and saw beautiful fishes. The water temp was a perfect 79 degrees. I didn't want it to end. We always felt safe and looked after. We finished with delicious handmade quesadillas and refried beans. It was a highlight of out cruise! Thank you Cabo Adventure Team!!! And Happy New Year !
My 14 yr old son and I went on this excursion and we had an incredible time! Our guide Joel and our boat captain Hansel were so much fun and extremely informative. I will say for a tour that wasn’t for whale watching we sure saw a lot of whales! Joel did a great job telling us all about the whales and “El CapiTan” navigated us to see as much as we wanted. The snorkeling was a lot of fun with tons of colorful fish to see, and those that didn’t want to snorkel looked like they had a lot of fun on the kayaks and paddle boards. But we spent the bulk of our time snorkeling. So an amazing time, and if the whales are active out there then these guys will make sure you get to see them!
