Los Cabos Beach Hopper 2-stop Snorkeling Tour

Great service and snorkeling instruction for novices. Snorkeling is out in the ocean though so no time on the beach. We also saw some whales right beside our boat, amazing!

Jose and Jorge were amazing guides. They pointed out sea turtles, landmarks and general history of the area. We made 2 stops to snorkel with Jorge as our guide. We ended with Lands End, Arch and Lover’s beach. Plenty of photo ops too.

Our tour guide was the sweetest so helpful and knowledgeable it was my gf and I’s first time snorkeling and we were so nervous he was being so patient and understanding and got us to really just enjoy the experience the first beach we went to was okay we saw some fish but not to many due to the storm but the second stop was by far the star of the show we saw schools of different kind of fish , stingrays sea turtles it was truly the coolest thing I’ve ever done he also took the best photos for us and we even got a little lunch at the end it was a sandwich granola bar pretzeles and a soda in all I was so amazed and would def do it again if you need a sign THIS IS IT , also the rides between the different oceans and lovers beach is so peaceful with such pretty views

The tour was perfect from start to finish. The captain and on board photographer were very nice and knowledgeable, and spoke good English. The captain tailors the itinerary for the day based on the ocean conditions and what spots to hit when, in order for the best snorkeling. The snorkeling spots have an option to go to the beach, which my you d daughter appreciated when she got tired of snorkeling. We saw lots of fish, 7 sea turtles (from the boat, not whole snorkeling), and jumping manta rays. I absolutely would book this tour again!

José and Luis were great tour guides and the refreshments were great to top it off with. The snorkeling was so much fun and would recommend it for anyone especially beginners.

My dad wrote a review below, but I wanted to second how amazing our snorkeling adventure was with Cabo Expeditions and Jose Hernandez, Luis and Jose, Jr. We saw so much sea life and were amazed by the multiple whale sightings. Jose knew we were excited and hopeful to be able to see some whales and spent a little extra time making sure that we found them. We got an amazing show with one whale breaching many times. He was informative and seemed excited as well. It made the whole trip incredible. Luis was patient with the kids and helped them to find some awesome sea life including an urchin. He took photos for us on the beaches near the arch and made us all feel very welcome. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. We will definitely request this group when we return to Cabo and I wish we had done this the very first day of our trip because everyone wanted to go back the next day. Thank you, Jose, Luis and Jose, Jr.!

My wife, daughter's family and our four grandchildren chose Cabo Expeditions to take a tour, which included lunch, snorkeling and we were hoping a whale sighting. We were fortunate that our Captain was Jose Hernandez, who along with his first mate Luis and Jose's son, Jose gave us the absolute best experience ever. I was hoping we would see a whale but understood that the whale season was coming to an end. Well, not only did we see a whale, we saw six and as you can see in the image below, one female put on a spectacular show. Jose, Luis and Jose were incredibly kind and answered all of our questions. We saw Sea Lions, Sting Rays, other assorted fish, the whales, plus the Key Hole to the Pacific, which offers a view of the Pacific from the Sea Of Cortez and the famous arch. I highly recommend Cabo Expeditions and if your group is lucky enough to take the tour with Jose, you will be in for the time of your lives. We truly did not want the day to end and all are anxious to go back to see Jose, Luis and Jose, when we return. Thank you Cabo Expeditions and Thank You Jose, Luis and Jose for the best tour ever! Karla, Junior and the rest of the crew spoiled my friends (25-30yo) and I with the best experience. We had a healthy bento-box styled meals (fruit based breakfast and ceviche based lunch). Unlimited drinks. Fresh towels. Kara queued up a great playlist that had us dancing all day on the boat. It was the highlight of our trip. We swam amongst sea lions which was surreal and saw manta rays jumping out of the water. 10/10 recommend.

What a great afternoon. Pick up and drop off from the hotel was easy. The guides made sure we saw jumping whales, snorkeled on the best part of the bay and generally took great care of us. Ready to do it again!

Where do you begin when a tour exceeds your expectations? Romel and Reuben were our guides and we saw whales, snorkeled (with a new snorkeler and Romel was by her side the whole time) and saw more whales. We talked about it for the rest of the day and we know that this excursion is the highlight of our time in Cabo. THANK YOU!

Simon, our guide in the water was attentive and took the time to show us the best spots to see coral and schools of fish. The captain followed the signs of a whale in the area and it did surface near our boat. Such an amazing experience!

Great guide, Jose, great service, just a nice snorkeling tour without the drinking and partying so prevalent on all other tours. Saw whales breaching and rolling as well. Great day.

Pros: They picked us up from our hotel. They were one of the few excursions to do 2 snorkel locations. Guides were nice. The chicken salad sandwiches were good. Cons: Told us we had to wear life jackets while snorkeling. Everything felt rushed. Very small inflatable boat. My kiddo hated the sandwich and there were no other options. We didn't stop at Lover's Beach, we stopped at a random beach down the way and got 20 minutes to swim to it and hang out. Overall not terrible but probably wouldn't book it again.

We had a blast on this trip, would do it again. The staff was great. I got a little seasick (I ALWAYS do) so I didn’t eat the lunch they provided but it looked ok. Thanks y’all ❤️

The whole experience was fantastic. From pick up to drop off everyone was friendly and highly professional. The boat trip and snorkeling was way better than I expected. The care taken during the snorkeling to make sure we were okay and saw everything was great. Such a beautiful array of fish in both sites. I would return and do it all again tomorrow if I could.

Jimmy and Jaime made sure our experience was fantastic! We snorkled with tons of beautiful fish, saw sea lions and a sting ray! We always had an ice cold drink in our hand, enjoyed hearing about the area, wildlife, and culture. We even had a little secluded beach all to ourselves! The boat ride was fun with gorgeous views along the coast. 100% recommended

This activity was an amazing experience! We thought it was going to be a catamaran type boat but its a speed boat and it was fast. We were flying through the waves which made for a fun ride. They took us to beautiful snorkel places and were missed all the traffic of other people. We had Luis and Jose who were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The lunch was also very enjoyable. All together a great experience and would do it again and recommend.

Our tour guides were very professional and friendly. Provided snacks, drinks and two snorkel locations. Saw whales, sharks, mana rays, and many fish!

The snorkeling trip itself was great- 2 beaches, nice fish and coral. Nice captain and guide. Trip had 11 pp. The problem was the logistics to and from the shop- very disorganized and unhelpful- waited a long time for trip to start and then another long time to be taken back to the hotel. Priority was given to people buying tickets for new trips vs people who had to be taken back to the hotel.

Awesome experience! We saw a pod of whales breaching which was awesome! The snorkeling was super cool. We got to see an octopus which I never expected! Overall very friendly!

While I would recommend this excursion (Jose and his son were perfect hosts), I would warn that the description provided in Viator ("you'll spend a half-hour at a time swimming and snorkeling alongside manta rays, sea turtles and scores of brightly colored fish") is misleading. The rays are only there in the winter and when I asked Jose if there are turtles in the stops we made, he said "sometimes". So, if you're looking for rays and turtles specifically, this is not the trip for you unless you happen to be there at the right time/day of the year. That being said, we did see a pod of humpback whales (early for this season) and Jose spent quite a bit of time with the boat stopped so we could observe and take pictures. This was definitely an unexpected treat.

The tour guide was great! It was our first time and he was very patient with us. The 2 areas we went to snorkel was perfect!

This trip was amazing. Thanks to Fernando, our guide, my son saw a shark. And the Capt found a starfish. My kids rated this experience as one of the top 10 things they’ve done. That’s saying alot since we toured Europe. Thanks to Cabo Expeditions for fhe memories

Fernando was a excellent guide. Small groups great for snorkeling. I will definitely reserve with them on my next trip.

Absolutely loved this small personalized afternoon snorkel trip. We ended up with just our family of four and 2 guides. They guides were excellent and knew exactly where the fish were. We saw seals, sting rays, an eel, shark a puffer fish and tons of other fish. My only regret is we did not have our under water camera as I was not expecting to see such vibrant and diverse 🐠! Loved the shorter 3 hour trip too as my daughters friend who joined us had never snorkeled before. It was the perfect introduction to snorkeling.

Listing said max 7 people so I booked for my party of 6. My son wanted to visit 2 snorkeling spots to get the best adventure. 10 people plus 2 crew members made the boat totally overcrowded, then we all had to shuffle around when the anchor needed to be pulled from under our seats, same with snorkel gear. Not a comfortable experience.

Our guides Fernando and Jose (our captain) were the absolute best. Knowledgeable, entertaining and very caring. The overall experience was great and I give all the credit to them for being the keys to making it that way.

Our guide Jose was amazing! He was extremely nice and funny! He took time to show us whales and when we snorkeled he showed us the way! Great day!

Fernando, Pablo and Fernando were excellent hosts on our Beach Hopper snorkelling tour. We even managed to catch some whales breaching on our way out! Would highly recommend!

We went as a family of 5 with about 5 others on a small zodiac to different coves to snorkel on two different reefs. At Maria cove we saw such an amazing assortment of colourful fish, we were very impressed! Our guide, Fernando, swam with us and even found large schools of fish for us to swim around. At Chilean cove, we even swam with white-tipped sharks! Fernando was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. On the return trip, our captain, Julio, did an excellent job of steering us over the waves and we even stopped to see the famous arch, sea lions, Lover's Beach and a whale! Amazing experience! Thank-you!!

Fernando and julio were great guides and kept the tour interesting. The only rule was to have fun and we sure did. Riding on the choppy waves was also a salty blast. 10/10

My wife & I had a great time. Pablo and Ferdinand were very personable and knowledgeable. We signed up for just snorkeling, and since it’s migration/ mating season they called an audible when we started seeing a bunch of whales. We still got in the 2 nice snorkeling spots, and skipped the short beach stop. It’s was a great call! Whales were cruising right next to the boat, and these guys knew exactly what the whales would do. The lunch was a bit weak and the sodas were warm but that’s not why we signed up.

This was so much fun! We saw all the fish, amazing beaches, and our captain Pablo and crew Fernando were so great and obviously love their jobs! Additionally- we watched a baby humpback play for almost an hour! Once in a lifetime!!

Awesome guides, beautiful variety and abundance of fish, but really cold. The place does not offer rash guards or wetsuits for neither purchase nor rent. This was the only downside. I couldn’t snorkel as long as I wanted to due to the cold water conditions.

Magical! We were only doing the snorkeling but ended up seeing a ton of whales! Julio, our captain seemed to have e the magic touch! We got literally 5 feet away from them! The snorkeling was some of the best I’ve ever done..Fernando was so nice and found us a reef where there were more fish, and different kinds of fish, than I’ve ever seen. And nobody else was there. It was a small boat, lots of fun. There was a family on board and Julio and Fernando were great with the kids . I found this tour by accident and could not have been happier.

There were so many amazing fish, easy to see, even hundreds of some kinds. Great experience! Exactly what I had hoped for, Pablo was a great captain, looked after everyone, well organized and fun. Pick up and drop off from our hotel was punctual.

Excursion was great and we actually happened to run into a bunch of whales on our way to the snorkeling spot which made it spectacular. The snorkeling in both locations was excellent with tons of fish and coral. And our two shipmates are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The problem is the misleading advertisement. The first incorrect description was "This tour/activity will have a maximum of 7 travelers". We had 10 passengers on our boat +2 shipmates which equals 12 people. The zodiac boat is not designed to hold 12 people comfortably and we were on top of each other and bumping into each other the whole trip. The second incorrect listing in the ad is as follows "...Afterward pay a visit to secluded Lovers Beach to enjoy a bit of sun-infused downtime". This makes it sound like we were going to spend some time on the beach and we were came prepared to do so, only to find out that there was no beach visit included. It's a great trip but when you're expecting a beach and only seven people but instead get no beach and 10 travelers, it leaves you a bit disappointed.

We loved our snorkel tour. Our captain Jose and our guide Pablo were both great. We had plenty of time to snorkel, saw lots of pretty fish, and loved seeing the sea lion colony.

We chose this snorkeling tour due to the smaller size. 7 people and 2 employees were a perfect fit for the zodiac boat. Romel and Julio were excellent tour guides. They both assisted us with our gear, ensuring it fit correctly and was comfortable. They were both in the water during the 2 snorkel sites, pointing out various fish and marine life. Both were happy to answer questions and to stop to allow us to take pictures. Great lunch with soda and water. Also, they accommodated our gluten free and vegan dietary needs. The best part of this tour was going to 2 non-touristy snorkel sites. This allowed for a relaxing time in calm waters. Highly recommended! 🤿

Julio and Fernando are the absolute best. This experience was beyond a snorkeling trip! It was educational and enlightening. They even stopped a couple times to pick up garbage! Julio and Fernando shared their love and respect for the sea which gave us a greater appreciation. We covered a couple Of great locations to see amazing sea life . Did I mention they kept us hydrated and Provided lunch after snorkeling. Great trip .

This was an excellent snorkeling excursion. They picked me up at my hotel exactly on time and got me to the tour office where we then departed as a group to the dock. The two fellows were extremely personable and fun to be with. The excursion goes out on a zodiac type boat which is really cool as you travel faster than the big catamaran type excursions. This allows you to get in two full 35 min snorkeling spots which were both great and they did not short us or rush us on the time. At the end of the 2nd snorkeling they had nice boxed lunches for us and sodas. Well done. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience overall! Our guide Fernando was really enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. The snorkeling was also great - lots of fish and other sea creatures. The highlight of our trip was seeing dolphins swim up right alongside the boat.

Very friendly guide (Fernando!) And boat captain (Juan!) Were great hosts for a two stop snorkeling adventure. They were enthusiastic and clearly loved sharing their knowledge about town and local marine life. We were extra lucky to see a pod of dolphins too! To top it off, the company was flexible and easy to work with. Lots of fun!
