Our driver Antonio was absolutely amazing!! He is a save driver, very knowledgeable historian, cautioned us in every possible situation, kept us safe when the sudden rain poured down on us. We’d highly recommend this excursion and would definitely do it again!! Thank you Antonio and Viator Excursions!! Alicia M and sisters!!

Highly recommend this tour we had great time lunch was superb we will be back again. The Tour guide was very informative
The tour overall was a great experience and definitely worth doing if you want to see some of the natural beauty outside Cabo. Balandra Beach was absolutely stunning and easily the highlight of the trip — the water and scenery honestly looked unreal in person. La Paz was also enjoyable and had a more local, relaxed vibe compared to Cabo. Our tour guide Gabriel did a really good job throughout the day. He kept the group organized, made us feel safe during the long drive, and had a fun personality that made the experience more enjoyable. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because some of the stops felt a bit unnecessary and made the day feel longer than needed. Personally, I would have preferred more time at the beaches and less time at some of the extra stops like Todos Santos. Still, overall a very solid tour with amazing views, good transportation, and a guide that genuinely cared about the group having a good experience.
The driver was great, the stop at La Paz could be passed up, all of us would have preferred more time at the last stop that actually had placed to shop and cool stuff
We had a great time seeing the scenery, crystal clear water at Balandra Beach , and lots of cute little shops in LaPaz. Lunch in LaPaz was absolutely delicious. Our driver was a delight- - full of fun and interesting facts about the area and communities. Van was small so this was a small group tour which was much better than big groups where you spend so much time just getting everyone on and off the bus. Highly recommend for adults and maybe older kids. Little ones would likely get tired as it is a very long day and not really kid oriented. Really glad we took this tour!
Wonderful day outside of Cabo! The guide was down to earth and very accommodating making sure everything was translated to English. Restaurant for lunch had amazing food!
Very fun . Thank you for Antonio the driver . Was very professional . I love it . Very good . Recommend to everyone
This trip was jam packed and completely amazing! Our driver Manuel/Manny was extremely hospitable and he took great care to speak in both Spanish and English. We went to Bandalera Beach, La Paz, Todos Santos. We were able to see all the major attractions with ease and Manuel gave us tips on what to do. There was time for sightseeing, shopping, and photos. The lunch provided was an authentic Mexican meal and tasted wonderful. We were only in the area for 5 days so this tour helped as see as much as possible in one shot. I absolutely recommend it. It is a long day but sooooo worth it!
Guide was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. Enough food for the whole day was provided included an amazing lunch. Great sites. Just wish the bus was a bit better. Had no suspension and was very cramped for tall people. It would be good if the tour started later so we could be at the beach when it’s hotter. 2h in La Paz would be good too.
Our guide, Antonio, was fantastic. He made an extra effort with English that we all appreciated. Playa Balandra is probably easier on the tour than trying to navigate alone. Two hours is short enough that the parasol rental probably isn’t worth it, especially if hiking and exploring. Lunch was very good.
This was a great experience, with great value. The only downside was we didn’t make it to everything on the itinerary. But I hardly noticed because of the full schedule of fun things.
Our driver Manuel "Manny" was fantastic, very friendly, informative, and made sure we were all well taken care of. The trip is a fulllll day adventure, but well worth it. The beaches are both beautiful and the water is crystal clear. The provided lunch was quite tasty. La Paz and Todos Santos were very cute and both are unique but have good vibes. It gave us a great sneak peek of these little gems, we will definitely be back to visit. Overall, great day and filled with new experiences.
This tour was amazing. The driver and all passengers were extremely nice- we really enjoyed every moment.
My first time in any Mexican city it was great! The driver and guide was very informative. The food selections were great.
First, it was a long day. A break from the pool monotony of resort. Our host Kafaya (Daniel) had amazing energy the entire trip. I was the only non Spanish speaker but he always made me feel included. Bring your own towels (etc) for Balandra Beach. Highly recommend a lemonade, guacamole, chips at second beach. Go for a swim, take some amazing photos. Cool shops in La Paz/Todos Santas. Ask Kafaya anything he is very knowledgable. I highly recommend to get off resort & experience a taste of Baja Sur life & with luck Kafaya will be your guide.
Kafaya, the host, is amazing—truly the star of the tour. He constantly checked on everyone and made sure to translate everything into English so we never felt left out. He definitely deserves a raise! However, the tour itself felt too long, with too many stops. I wish there’s more time spent at playa balandra since thats the highlight of the trip. But we only stayed there for 2 hrs which is not enough to explore the place and swim. The van was also quite old, and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. It felt like it was 85 degrees inside the entire trip. Additionally, seating four people in the very back is not ideal—it’s cramped and uncomfortable. We were seated there, and it felt really suffocating.
This could have been a great trip. Viator advertised this with an English speaking tour guide. No English. No information on the areas we visited. Barely understood times to meet up. Tour guide was lovely did his best. Not his fault, Viator is at fault with absolutely no care about the cost and time wasted trying to learn about the areas we visited.
Our friends and I, 4 couples signed up to the tour trusting the good reviews. But to our dismay we were picked up by a van that was not suitable to be on for 3 hour ride back and forth. It was a very run down van with no shock and the seating was so uncomfortable. We all had a terrible backache after the tour. There were 6 other tourists in the van and they were all Spanish. I assume they sell this package at half the price to the locals
Great day trip away from Cabo . My partner and I have done all the activities in Cabo. So we thought this activity would be a great way to explore a new town, La Paz and Todo Santos . I recommend doing the tour in the hotter months because Balandra beach was chilly in Feb, but beautiful. Enjoyed our walk to mushroom rock and hiked some killer views of the turquoise blue water. Todo Santos was a cool art town with lots of cute Souvenirs to buy some bring some dinero. Highly recommend this tour. It was a long but we enjoyted a productive day of exploring.
So beautiful landscape in Barandra, and great town cityscapes. One day trip and high quality and high cost performance.
It was a wonderful day! It had been on our bucket list for years and we finally did it. It was a long day, but was worth it. Our guide, Manuel, was wonderful and we felt well taken care of and safe all day.
Great all day tour and our guide was the best!!! Even the lunch that was included was amazing! The fish tacos were really good.
Our tour guide David made the trip really special. He stayed with us every step of the way and provided an historical overview of the area. Balandra was beautiful and we really enjoyed LaPaz. I felt like I was in a movie. I highly recommend this tour with David. It has been the highlight of our vacation!
We really enjoyed the tour. It was a long day,but totally worth it for the amazing places we got to visit. The timing at each stop was great, our driver was kind and professional the entire time. The only issue was in the morning when a European couple took up an entire row with their bags, leaving no room for another passenger. When the driver noticed he politely ask them to move their bags under twe seat so the lady could sit. However, the man got mad and was very rude to the driver. Thankfully, we made a stop later on, and the unpleasant cople decided to leave the van and skip the tour, which, honestly, was a relief for everyone. The driver handled the situation so well , he deserves a raise for putting up with that kind of behavior!
We booked this excursion today. However, we did not get any further than getting in and out of the transport vehicle. The intention was to make a trip from Los Cabos to La Paz with a VAN. So hours in the VAN. However, the VAN was so packed with people that normal sitting was not possible. No space for any luggage left. No space for your legs. We chose not to go along. The provider's response was very inadequate; you have 2 choices. Go along, but then you don't have to complain, or go back to the hotel and no refund. In a word, ridiculous. I warn everyone...don't fall for this. This provider does not deliver quality, but is a livestock transporter!
Everything went smoothly. The guide was really nice and knew exactly what he was talking about and what he was doing. In my opinion, each place was enough time to explore and there was a lot to explore. The beaches were great and I loved that it took the whole day even though we had to wake up really early. I would suggest bringing a neck pillow for the car rides because the destinations are kind of far away for the morning.
excellent service, they picked us up at 4:30 AM at riu Baja California. The driver was very friendly and always attentive to everyone. The schedules and instructions were always clear. I had a great time, thank you.
It was an early start 4:30 am and pick up three other hotels, Gas station break, give us sandwiches, to the first stop. 2hrs and it would’ve been nice if he had warned us about the baby stingrays in the water. Got stung and got out. It was hot rented an umbrella and chairs. Second place is another beach which wasn’t nice at the first one 1hr. Change of clothes and snack there. They took us to a local restaurant for our lunch which is included. The third place was this pearl jewelry which was a waste of time not a lot of time for pictures or shopping 1hr, 15-20 minutes was the guy speaking at the jewelry store. The last place was not enough time either for shopping give us 40mins. Got back by 5 pm.
Such an amazing day. Balandra beach was breathtaking, gorgeous . Corumuel beach was nice too . I highly recommend this tour. It was a nice day trip , long but worth it. As far of the driver omg such an amazing guy, we didn’t feel pressure , we have enough time to swim, explore the area the driver / tour guy was so nice, professional and patient. I can’t remember his name but he need a star. This tour is perfect in my opinion to see la Paz and Todos Santos and enjoy 2 beaches .
Beautiful experience great driver ac went out on our return so it was somewhat hot but other than that we were treated VIP
Our driver and guide, Juan, was outstanding! Only regret is we wish we could have spent more time in Todos Santos!
It was nice! Balandra is beautiful! Super recommended! Driver was punctual and responsive. He explained everything to us very detailed.
Really great experience - you get to go to a couple of beaches and see some nice locations. The first beach is very serene and great to relax. Todos Santos is a really pretty town with local shops. Our guide Abelardo was great - lots of interesting facts as we went along. He was a great host and went above and beyond helping us with everything. At the first beach there are chairs and umbrellas that you can rent. The water here is really clear and you can walk out quite a ways. The second beach was just OK in my opinion - it’s much smaller and smelled more like fish than the ocean smell. Don’t bother ordering food at the second beach as it won’t come in time. The lunch stop was very good - the food was excellent and you had several options to pick from. Overall this was a great trip - I would recommend it.
Joined a tour to checkout this beautiful beach, it was worth it, we had to wake up 4am. Water was shallow, walked really far water still up to waist. Just a beautiful beach
The trip was lovely. Our guide, Benicio, was very funny and enjoyable. I would have like more time in Todos Santos. Maybe cut the second beach excursion?
Great tour with great guide named Ed. Beware of sea life at Balandra. Jelly fish do sting here that you can not see. Great way to visit special towns with knowledgeable guide.
My boyfriend and I had an incredible experience on this tour, and I can't recommend it enough! Our tour guide was amazing, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout the journey and making sure we got to fully experience every part of the tour. His knowledge of the area was impressive and added so much to our trip. We were picked up right from our hotel and enjoyed a two-hour drive to a gas station, where we could buy drinks and snacks and use the bathroom. From there, we were taken to La Balandra. The water was clear and beautiful. We loved our time there! You can rent umbrellas and chairs to make your stay even more enjoyable. Next, we visited La Playa Coromuel. Although we didn’t swim, my boyfriend and I had a relaxing time at a nearby restaurant, enjoying a few drinks. The tour then took us to downtown La Paz, where we had lunch (included in the tour) and had the chance to walk around and explore the area. Lastly, we visited Todos Santos, stopping downtown to explore the charming small shops. It was quite busy, but we loved the vibrant atmosphere. Overall, the tour was a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it!
The best part of this tour was Balandra Beach! The water was amazing and the views were everything I needed and wanted. This tour is lonnnggggg. Even though everything went as planned I feel it was very very long. We were picked up at our hotel at 410 am. I understand it was necessary to get to Balandra at a certain time bc the beach only allows a certain amount of people. However, the time spent at the second beach Corunel is not necessary. I also feel that the time spent to walk at La Paz is not necessary. The tour could be shortened by going to Balandra beach, stopping to Have lunch at La Paz and continuing to todos los santos. It’s just a suggestion to make the trip shorter and more enjoyable. The tour guide Tomas was excellent. He tried to make our trip smooth and always catered to what everyone needed.
Beautiful beach. Short stay. Driver told us to stay 2 to 3 hours and showed up rushing everybody in less than 1. Also told us that there wasn’t shades nor places to be protected under de sun. We were under pressure to rent umbrellas and chairs, which we barely had a chance to use since he came back to pick us up earlier than expected. There were tiki umbrella covers by the entrance and along the beach.
We highly highly recommend One Way Mexico tour company for the tours while you visit Los Cabos. We had a wonderful time! We took La paz, Balandra and Todos Santos from Cabo. And Ed, the driver was a very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, attentive and very prompt. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour under his care. Lunch was included and it was excellent. From the beginning at the time of the booking our trip, staff was very professional, very prompted with responses with our questions via email and whatapps. Such detailed information as what time our ride would come to pick us up, meeting point while we were at the beach, La Paz and Todos Santos downtown. etc. We also did Arch tour the next day. Staff meet us at the drop off area (we were pick up from our hotel) and guided us to the tour office so that we didn't get lost or wasting our precious time looking for the office in the town we were not familiar. And the staff made sure we got to pick up by the driver safely to return back to hotel after the Arch tour was done. One Way Mexico provided us superior/ excellent customer service and they made sure we are comfortable and well informed on the activities.
Amazing excursion visiting 3 different places. Our tour guide , Ed, was super attentive and thoughtful to our needs as tourists. Enjoyed the music on the bus and the history. Balandra beach was beautiful and the water was so clear that we were able to see the fish. The water was at most 2-3 feet high. La Paz was a nice city but was too hot to enjoy it. Todos Santos was my favorite town. So much art everywhere, literally beautiful art everywhere. I felt so safe looking around and learning about the history on the California hotel and Eagles song was very interesting. At the end, we enjoyed the evening with the best strawberry dessert. Hope to visit Todos Santos again, in the near future.
Balandra is a Beautiful beach! Water is crystal clear, very clean. Awesome excursion. La Paz, and Todos Santos are wonderful places to visit!
This was a great way for our family to see outside of San Jose and Cabo San Lucas! Balandra beach was such a beautiful spectacle, and we had more than enough time to explore Todos Santos (beautiful town)! Thomas was our guide and he was kind, knowledgeable of the places, and patient. He navigated minor hiccups really well and adapted. He is also fluent in english which helped to make the experience more meaningful. This does take the whole day! So be prepared to have all necessary items to have a great experience.
Tour date(03/22/24): Francisco was the best tour guide!! He was very professional, friendly, informative and always helpful! I am not fluent with Spanish and he helped me when I needed to communicate at any stops. He is fluent with Spanish and English. This tour was exciting! The ocean views were absolutely amazing and stops were so much fun! Also, Francisco ALWAYS made sure we were all accounted for with every stop! This was my first tour and first day after arrivinv into Cabo San Lucas, so it began my vacation so well! Thank you again Francisco!
We were promptly picked up at 5:15 am by Jose Antonio. He had 2 more pick ups before we were on our way. The ride to stop #1 was about 2.5 hours. Before getting to Balandra Reserve we stopped to use the clean bathrooms and we were given a sandwich, snack and juice. Bottled water was also provided. The Beach Reserve was beautiful. There was a famous Onion Rock that people lined up to take pictures at, there was a small hike you can take to the top to get a view of the beach. The beach itself was very shallow and had many sand bars. Kayaks, beach umbrellas and chairs were offered for an additional fee as they were provided by outside vendors. We chose not to get either and we were able to find a shady spot to relax at. Next stop was a public beach called Playa El Coromuel. This part of the tour is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. To guess if we had gone in the water at the first stop we would have appreciated this stop. But since we didn’t we felt that this was completely unnecessary. The beach is not pretty. There is nothing to do here except eat BUT the following spot we were heading to was lunch in town! We did purchase some fruit and waited for the 2 hours to be up Stop 3 was LaPaz we were so lucky to catch the end of their Carnaval. They had the streets lined up with food, activities and lots of music. We stopped at a local restaurant and had a yummy lunch and then when we met up to leave we got a class on how pearls are harvested. Or last stop before heading home was Todos Los Santos. This is a small town and we easily walked around and saw the sights within the hour we were given before heading back to Cabo We really enjoyed our coffers descriptions thru out the day. He was super informative and he was an extremely safe driver.
This tour was amazing! Balandra is a must the tour is long but definitely worth it. 100% recommended
Great service from driver Tomas, balandra it's just amazing! Kayaking there was the best, the tour it's a bit long but It worth it
The tour was incredible balandra beach is the best ; we loved the landscape and the water temperature. anthony our driver , was very kind and gave us tips for the best photo spots. the day was a bit hot but enjoyable. we highly recommend it .
When I booked our day tour to LaPaz, Balandra and Todos Santos I specifically chose Viatours as I felt that as a reputable company that I had booked with before they would have a high standard of product and service… Initially, communication with staff regarding pickup was exceptional…felt very confident that we had made a good choice. Waited in the dark at 4:15 pm for driver, who did finally call and told me we were at the wrong pickup spot, contacted office and that was quickly addressed… once on the road ( we were 1st clients to be picked up) we stopped for 2nd pick up at the RIU and, again confusion as to where clients were, found that couple and then picked up last client at the Chedraui… our driver was just that, a driver. Did not introduce himself ( Anthony) and rarely initiated any conversations…shortly into the trip it became apparent that there was no ‘tour’… if we asked questions he attempted to answer but pretty much spent the entire drive conversing with the Spanish speaking client in the front passenger seat… Arrived at Balandra beach ( would have been helpful to have prior knowledge of kayak rentals) we did rent and enjoyed the time there on the water… virtually no information regarding the area, Anthony left to hang out (smoking) with other drivers…the total lack of service, opening car doors etc was surprising, and disappointing. After Balandra we were taken to another beach nearby which was definitely sketchy, an drug transaction was openly taking place in the restaurant, staff was surly, bathrooms extremely gross…we walked the beach and purchased a beer to get shade under a palapa… again, no sign of Anthony until he came to tell us he was leaving to help another tour guide and would return shortly, shortly became over an hour to the point that we all were wondering if he was returning … from there it got worse as he did not apologize for the delay, complained about the traffic going to La Paz, phoned our lunch orders in to the restaurant, kept saying as we arrived in La Paz that we would be there in a few minutes, it took over an hour and then after parking and walking he couldn’t find the restaurant… made a call and drove further to where our lunch was… it was cold and not nice… from there he took us to La Paz boardwalk to a jewellers where he left us for a 5 minute pearl demo and a 15 minute walk on the boardwalk to take photos with the LaPaz sign… we had all agreed by this time that we wanted to move on to Todos Santos as it was getting late ( mid afternoon) we found Anthony having a beer with a friend and hit the road…the drive to Todos Santos was nerve wracking… he drove over the limit (120) and appeared to be having trouble staying awake and on the road… upon arrival he said we had 1 hour and at first was going to tour us through Hotel California but then abruptly disappeared with the vehicle… we arrived back at the meeting place an hour later and he wasn’t there…waited at least 1/2 an hour, again wondering if he was going to return… he eventually did with a confusing explanation of issues with the vehicle that he ‘thought’ had been addressed…we were all seriously considering looking for alternative transportation from TS to Cabo/ San Jose at this point plus one of the guests was also unwell …. Anthony did not appear even slightly concerned… we also expressed our concerns directly to him about whether he should be driving, he assured us that he was ‘ok’ and again a rambling explanation regarding supervisors’ conflicting directions, car needing to go to the shop , traffic etc… We stayed with him for the drive back but it was a stressful, unhappy few hours. Needless to say, the entire day was very upsetting and disappointing, and certainly not anywhere near the standard of experience that I have come to expect from Viators… Anthony did not receive a tip and I am seriously considering cancelling my Viatour trips that I have booked in New Zealand this coming February as this experience has shaken my confidence in the booking platform. 😞
Tomas (the driver) provided insightful information and offered excellent tips for capturing memorable pictures and enjoying delicious ice cream. He took us to the ideal spot in Todos Los Santos for the perfect sunset picture, ensuring a remarkable experience. We appreciated his fluent English, which allowed for engaging and meaningful conversations throughout the journey. The itinerary was planned exceptionally well, with ample time at the beaches. Highly recommend! Thank you!
