Cabo Sunset Dinner Cruise: Fajitas, Lands End And Party

Pablo sold my mom a sunset cruise. He promised her that they would provide transportation to and from the cruise as part of the package. The day of the cruise my 85 yoa mother located Pablo who escorted us to a driver for transportation purposes. Ater the ride was over the driver demanded payment as hevsaid he was not part of the cruise line. My mom was angry and relayed this info to staff at the marina. The apologized profusely and upgraded us to the front of the line. They took a picture of my mom and assured her that a ride home would be provided. Ater a good time on the cruise, we again attempted to gain transportation back to the hotel. Again we were greatly disappointed as we again had to pay for both rides, 20.00 each. I attempted to contact Sunset cruise line that evening and was told via message they were going home and somewould contact us. That did not happen. If you stay at the Rui Baja California, I would avoid Pablo at all cost. Just a SCAMMER to sell you a lie at all COST. I will be contacting Rui Baja and relay this terrible experience.

The supplier Gray Line provided the wrong information on where to go for the Sunset Cruise and did not answer their phone when we called even though it was during their business hours. As a result, we missed the cruise and they tried to say it was our fault.

We had a really good experience. Everything was on time, and the price was reasonable. The food quality and amount were better than expected. The staff was very attentive. The photos on the boat weren't as good as some. Most had random people with our group. It was packed, and the vibe definitely changes on the way back. We had a couple of kids, 6 and 7, and it was a little aggressive for them, but not too bad. All in all, very worth it.

My booking stated in multiple places that the excursion began at 5:00 PM. Upon arrival at the port, they stated it started at 6:00 PM. Not a huge deal. Left got a drink and came back to a long line looking to board the boat. Upon getting on the boat, there was literally not one place to sit down. My entire group and I had to all stand during the entire 2.5-hour boat trip, including eating our food. It was clearly over booked which was annoying. Customer service was good but the food was not good at all. The views were amazing and the vibes were upbeat and fun.

Food was great! DJ and dancing was fun! Sunset spectacular! And as a bonus we got to see whales . Recommend this!

This was a family vacation to Cabo with my adult children ... it's our 3rd time to Cabo and we have attanded sunset cruises before but this was definitely our favorite. I thought the staff was attentive and the fajitas were delicious. It wasn't just finger food which leaves you still hungry after, there was enough for seconds and the drinks were unlimited. The crowd and music were lively but not raunchy. During teh cruise, we were lucky enough to see a couple of whales! Absolutely amazing, an experience we will never forget!

It was high energy and entertaining! The host kept ever one entertained and showed that he really loves his job.

My adult daughter and I took this excursion on a Friday night in April. The boat was very clean and comfortable, the crew and service was fantastic. This is a great way to see the harbor and Los Arcos, as well as have cocktails and dance to a live bandthst was excellent. The Mexican buffet was very good too. We didn't see any whales, but that's a possibility this time of year. A fun time was had by all! I would highly recommend this during y I ur stay if you have a limited number of days! Super fun!

This was such a fun cruise. We spent all of our time on the top deck. The seating is just cushioned benches but we were up and dancing for most of the time, as were many of the other passengers. The bottom deck had more of a site seeing vibe and there was more seating. On the top deck the music was loud, lights were flashing and the tequila was flowing. We ended up not even eating the buffet because it was only a 2hr cruise and we're staying at an all-inclusive and with the bench style seating we didn't have tables anyway. Also - the ticket says 5pm but our boat did not board until 6pm. It ended up being fine because we were towards the front of the line and got good choice on seats. It was definitely worth it but probably a better choice for laid back passengers.

If you want fun, this is it! We've done this twice now and both experiences were very rememberable. The crowd is mixed, both younger adults and older. I would not recommend young children as this is an adult crowd with lot's of drinking and dancing.

Very Loud and raunchy party atmosphere. The captain did a good job finding whales to watch. That is the only positive thing I can say about this trip. It is definitely geared to the younger party crowd and included pouring tequila shots into guests' mouths and foul language by the DJ. I have gone on similar tours by Sun Rider for several years and always enjoyed the entertainment. This trip by Cabo Escape was one I will definitely not repeat.

Amazing service staff was great specially Martin such an amazing guy he advised us with all the activities we wanted to do and it was all done on the spot!! Amazing customer service!!

The views were fantastic and the meal and drinks couldn’t be better! Such a fun time! The captain took some pictures with us and it was the perfect atmosphere for an evening on the water

I did not go, cancelled reservation. Unfortunately was unable to go on cruise. However from talking to others that attended, waters was a little rough and some got a little sea sick

Grayline sent us an email confirming the location, date, and time of the sunset cruise we booked through them 4 weeks before. The email instructed us that our cruise departed at 5:00 PM. We arrived at the dock in plenty of time to board but the boat had departed at 4:30. Grayline did not adjust the new time of the departure based on the earlier time of sunset like the cruise company did. That was just the beginning of the fiasco.

I received two confirmations for our trip start time; needless to say, we missed our cruise. Make sure to confirm the meeting time at least 24 hours in advance.

Great dinner cruise and whale watching combined. Crew couldn't have been better. Mexican buffet was very good.

Though they ask you to arrive a lot earlier than the boat boards, it was fantastic. The food was great the drinks were flowing... the don Julio rep was there offering shots for an upcharge. Tour went around the arc twice and around the Cortez sea. Highly recommend

We were disappointed during this cruise. The employees worked hard and tried to make sure we were taken care of. The food was good but we were unsure how much we could eat. It was a very basic meal of tacos, rice and salad. Unfortunately the drinks were very weak and watered down. We left the boat hungry and without even a buzz. We could have seen the sunset from the beach and had more fun. Save your money.

I went alone and ended up making friends... All together a beautiful experience sailing... At one point we were at the borderline of the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean... Very safe... Dinner is mouthwatering... Beautiful scenery... I’ve saw all of Cabo San Lucas straight from the boat... As we travel along Victor the person in charge of the cruise was very helpful... I’m eagerly awaiting December back I go... 💯 satisfies and recommend it to all...

The sunset dinner cruise was nice! A little turbulence but all in all a very enjoyable ride. The sunset made for great pictures.

I enjoyed the sunset cruise. The gentleman in charge were friendly, humorous and hospitable. The sights Were amazing . Heads up, the use of the word dinner is a stretch. It’s finger food. Also, there will be tons of other boats on the water when you set sail. So, there are many options to choose from. I’d choose this one if you are looking for a laid back vibe with versatile chill music. If you want a party boat; this is not it but know it’s a available elsewhere.

A beautiful excursion, the 2 man crew was all that was needed. The snacks were light but on point, and plenty to drink. The crew members were informative and willing to help to take pictures. I loved it.

Dinner cruise was good weather not so much. Luckily we took jackets and staff provided blankets for us to keep warm. Crew said was unusually cold for end of feb, beginning of march

Well, had the impression this was a sailboat. No. Basically a ferry boat with tables. Tries to be a party boat but it falls flat on that score too. Hits the prerequisite sights, the arch, lovers beach, etc. But then, every boat in Cabo does that. Service was poor. Let me be clear, I am a good tipper. Bordering on absurd, in fact. Usually 50% or more. And I'm not one who is hard to please, see my reviews. But the food was...meh. found out (while in line) that there was lobster but that you had to pre-request it. However had no idea about that. Was rudely told it was announced. Perhaps he did, however the DJ making bilingual announcements didn't enunciate well and so more everything came out a garbled, accented mess where we were seated. Which must've been the wrong place for everything as the bartender-waiters seemed to avoid us like the plague. (Did I mention I do tip well?) This was supposed to be the culmination of our time in cabo with a beautiful sunset "sail". Overall the service felt impersonal and like you were cattle to be run through and milked. (Which, essentially is true) but the good ones conceal that a little better behind the illusion of friendly service. That said, after dinner the dancing on the deck was pretty good and the sunset was beautiful, of course. Just wasn't what we were expecting.

Excellent choice. Tour operated promptly, efficiently, food was good, etc. All the crew were extremely helpful and attentive throughout the evening.

We had a fantastic time on this dinner cruise from start to finish. Sebastian at the Holiday Inn San Jose del Cabo made the arrangements and recommended this cruise. Ground transportation was excellent picking us up at bringing us back in an efficient and professional manner. The boat was beautiful with ample food and beverage. The crew was fun and strived to create an upbeat environment. We had a fabulous time, seeing 5 whales, enjoying a beautiful sunset and dancing. I’d highly recommend.

<p>The cruise and dinner were great. Had a tough time contacting company to confirm departure time. Upon arrival our voucher did not say what boat we were on and they had to call the company to confirm we could get on, it took awhile for them to reach the right person, but they finally did and we had a good time on the Sunrider.</p>

<p>The tour had amazing views and they will take pictures of you for a cost of 28 usd for two 5'7. The food was good as well. Definitely go to the top deck for the views and pictures. There is definitely a party vibe on this boat for both the young and older generation.</p>

<p>Short version is this is a booze cruise, which is ok if that's what you expect. From the other reviews, I was expecting something else. This cruise is on the Cabo Escape, which also is offered confusing to have same cruise offered under two names. The weather was great, and we did the top deck. Seats are blow ups, and nearly impossible to get back up once you get down. As we sailed out we saw whales, but crew more interested in music then pointing out. Dinner is fajita buffett and nothing to write home about. The crew turned back to port due to clouds that looked threatening. Got us back long before the 2-1/2 hour time slot, so they did dance off that was adults only - really pushed the envelop on acceptable behavior crew member picked girl out, and tied her hands with his belt, thrust himself on her and then had three other couples compete with his performance.</p>
