Cabo San Lucas Short Snorkeling Tour With Divemaster Guide

I had no idea to expect such an amazing experience. Our guide, Costas, was so patient, and when he realized that my husband and I were TOTAL BEGINNERS at snorkeling, he guided us every step of the way. I have never seen fish like this anywhere except in an aquarium. To see 1000’s of fish live and within a couple of inches of my body was thrilling. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. And, our ship captain, Jonathan, was great, as was Eduardo. I can’t wait to come back and do this again!

We had such a good experience from beginning to end! Everyone was helpful at the dive center with getting us checked in. Our awesome guide, Xo, made sure we were all properly fitted with snorkeling gear before we boarded the boat. Captain Flash did a great job operating the ship and dealing with the slightly windy conditions. We were a party of 9, and everyone loved the experience. It was my husband, two kids, and my first time snorkeling. Xo showed us around the Arch of Los Cabos and was an excellent tour guide, giving us plenty of time to take pictures of the gorgeous sights. She then thoroughly prepared us for what to expect before we jumped in for our snorkeling, making us all comfortable. She was especially helpful with our kids, ensuring their safety and good time. We saw so many fish and a sea lion even swam right up to the boat. Back on the boat, Xo talked to the kids about the types of fish we saw. It was a highlight of our Cabo Trip, and we would highly recommend Xo, Captain Flash, and Manta Scuba for snorkeling or scuba diving!!

Our family group of 9 (6adults and 3 kids) had an amazing time with our dive instructor Sol and Captain Flash. The kids ages are 10, 8 and 7. They vary in swimming abilities and Sol made sure they were comfortable, safe and having a great time. It was by far their #1 favorite activity during our trip to Cabo. Highly recommend and can’t thank them enough for making our snorkeling experience a memorable one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing fun. Water was so clear, the guide Carla was very knowledgeable and showed us a great spot where there was a variety of fish. She answered all our questions, was so helpful and accommodating the whole trip. Our captain Jimmy was fantastic. He was super cool and took us out and around the point of lands end to see the arch and Lover's beach (not part of the snorkeling trip) as an extra treat. The trip was soo much fun and time flew by. Carla and Jimmy made it even more fun!!!

We loved our trip to Cabo and highly recommend Manta scuba. The directions were clear on where to meet. Our guide Chewy remembered each of our names of of one friendly introduction. We were given a tour of the area and then taken snorkeling. Each of us were personally fitted for equipment and given clear instructions. Chewy did a great job of explaining some of what we would see before we got in the water. Once we got in he made sure that everyone was comfortable and showed us so many different sea creatures. He used our GoPro and phone to make sure that we had plenty of photos and videos. We loved this tour so much and it was such a great value for what we got.

Little effort was made to educate the 4 snorkelers about the marine life we might see other than to pass us a laminated page with fish pictures on it after the excursion finished. Bad quality mask was basically unusable when tried on 2 different people while in the water-kept leaking water. Made the experience very unpleasant and the dive master couldn't be bothered to help much. The dive master didn't keep track of the group enough to notice when 2 out of the 4 were far behind (due to mask troubles). Generally he was totally unenthusiastic. After the snorkeling was done we were heading back to the dock when we were told we needed to turn around to meet up with another sister boat to retrieve something. The captain HIT the other boat hard when we reached it. Didn't say anything. Seemed cool with it. Totally unprofessional. Worst snorkeling experience I have ever had. Avoid. Would never trust this dive shop with a scuba excursion.

Amazing staff, great snorkeling venue (saw more fish than I can recall with any other snorkeling tour), and attentive treatment made this tour a clear MUST DO for family visitors to Cabo. Our guide, Polo, helped us really enjoy our time in the water and was extraordinarily knowledgeable and patient. The equipment was up to date and clean. A terrific value for money as well. For snorkeling in Cabo - this is the ONE!

It was a very good experience. Our guide, Eduardo, explained everything thoroughly and was very helpful. The Captain Jonathan was very kind and helped as well. Valentina provided snacks and water. Would do this aging such a fun time for all of us.

It was a fantastic experience! From the boat, we were able to see sea lions, pelicans, and El Arco. We also went snorkeling and saw an incredible variety of fish up close. Our guide, Kosta, was very attentive and provided excellent guidance throughout the tour. He was also kind enough to take photos for us, which made the experience even more memorable.

Our guide Eduardo and the Captain provided our family with an excellent snorkeling experience. We felt safe, comfortable and appreciated that our guide led our small group in the water as he took us around Pelican Rock. We saw a variety of fish and equipment was clean, good condition and fit well. We'd highly recommend. Our only negative was the boat itself looked rusty and worn. Capt expertly guided us thru the waters since the 2pm tour was choppy and windy.

We had the best snorkle trip with our guide Kosta and Captain Flash! They are both experts at what they do, from being knowlegable and funny tour guides with stories and facts about the beaches and arch to getting us to Pelican Rock and keeping an eye on us while snorkling. 10 out of 10 would book again!

We had such a great time! A group of 8 from age 12 to 76. Jesus was an amazing guide and was so good to help my elderly parents enjoy snorkeling and feel safe. We all had a blast!

We had an amazing snorkeling experience in Cabo, definitely a 5-star tour! My husband and I booked it just one day before our cruise stop, and everything worked out perfectly for less than $150. The group was small (8 people total), which made the experience feel much more personal. The crew was fantastic, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our snorkeling instructor was especially attentive, making sure we all felt comfortable and had a great time. She gave very clear instructions and checked on everyone throughout the experience. She even brought me an extra pair of flippers when the first ones didn’t fit properly, which I really appreciated. The captain was also wonderful. On the way out, he took us around the bay and showed us iconic spots like the Arch and other beautiful landmarks around Cabo. He also pointed out marine life along the way, which made the ride even more enjoyable. Once we got to the snorkeling spot, everything was well organized. They provided all the equipment, water, and some light snacks, which was a nice touch. The whole experience lasted a little over two hours, and it felt like the perfect amount of time. They also gave us great recommendations for places to eat afterward, which we ended up using! Overall, we had such a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cabo. It was well-organized, friendly, and a highlight of our trip!

We had such an incredible snorkeling experience! Our guide Miro and the captain Jonathan were an incredible team who provided great history of the area and a plentiful snorkeling spot. I was shocked at how many fish there were, even in the afternoon, and we got lucky enough to see some whales from the boat this late in April. I would absolutely use this dive shop for more snorkel and SCUBA experiences!

Our snorkeling guide Miro was so wonderful with our kids age 4 and 8 he was extremely patient and followed our 4 year old daughters lead, he also made sure my 80 year old dad was safe and accommodated. We loved the experience, saw many fish species, toured the arch and had a great time.

Manta Ray is a quality operation, and this was a perfect activity with our teenagers who had never snorkeled before. We had some delays and arrived late, but they worked out getting us to the group. They outfitted us with wet suits (water was a bit cold), fins and masks. Everyone in the shop was friendly and experienced. Divemaster Miro was very good with instruction. We saw many kinds of fish and also some sea lions on pelican’s rock. Lover’s beach was closed to everyone because of high waves. Jonathon (Primo) drove our boat. He was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. He had water and cookies for us, which was just right. We saw a whale and calf, and he followed it so we could get a better look. This put us amidst many boats, but he did an expert job of navigating the crowd and getting us good sight lines. We got some great views of El Arco too.

What an incredible experience! My wife and I were the only two on the tour so we had the undivided attention of our very seasoned diver guide Costa and his driver Flash. Costa expertly described and guided us to view close up amazingly beautiful above and underwater life. We will definitely book with Costa and Manta on our next Cabo trip!

I read a lot of these reviews but the experience that Chewy and Jonathan gave us was exceptional and the great memories will last a lifetime! We got lucky and actually saw whales breaching the surface but it was supposed to be just a snorkeling tour. Also, Chewy was so attentive to my wife (who can’t swim) and my kids to literally guide us through the water to find the best snorkel spots. He showed us the beauty of Cabo San Lucas under the water and above the water with such great personal attention and service. Highly recommend!

Had a great time, Captain Jonathan and our Dive Master Baptist both were very kind and helpful. Supplies were clean and ready, sightseeing was fun, and Baptist did a great job of guiding us and showing us fish, as well as allowing us a bit of freedom to explore and enjoy at our own pace.

We had a great snorkeling trip with Manta. Our guide Costas was very experienced and knowledgeable giving us the history and lay of the land. We spotted a couple whales and overall was a fantastic trip!

We had an amazing experience on this snorkel trip from start to finish. The crew was professional, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable right away. The ride was smooth, and we felt safe the entire time. The snorkeling spots were beautiful, with clear water and plenty to see. Everything was well organized, and the equipment was in good condition. This trip was fun, relaxing, and well worth it. I would absolutely recommend this snorkel tour to anyone looking for a memorable experience on the water.

Our Divemaster Miro was amazing. We were a family with young kids and we were exceptionally take care of from check in, introductions, instructions, boat ride to tour the arch, land’s end , lover’s and divorce beach and all other attractions to guidance and support getting into the water and snorkeling in it. Me and my kids’ first time snorkeling and they had an amazing time. Captain of the boat was also very sweet and helpful. My son has extreme anxiety when it comes to adventures but Miro took time and was able to ease him into it slowly and get him to go into water on his own which was a miracle. It was an unforgettable memory and milestone for our family. We saw beautiful fish and whole 2 hrs just flew by and totally worth it. Can’t wait to visit Cabo again and go on another snorkeling tour with Manta and Divemaster Miro.

Kosta & Chuy were great guides. We came down with our family and we haven’t been diving for at least 5 years and the refresher course was perfect and set everyone ease! They showed us a shark sleeping hidden in the rocks and a few other hidden treasures. Would highly recommend Manta diving.

We had a great boat ride, followed by one of the best snorkeling experiences ever. We saw very large schools of fish and a wide variety. It was beautiful and Caesar, who led us, was just wonderful. I could not recommend this company, and this tour, more highly.

My husband and I did the tour and snorkeling experience at Cabo with some friends. There were so many fish! We loved it! It was better than I expected. There were multiple types of fish. The area was very safe. The water was about 85 degrees. We also saw sea lions on the rocks. The water is very salty, so it was easy to float. The guides were friendly and professional. They offered us cold water and cookies on the boat. The equipment was clean and in good condition. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone who wants to snorkel while in Cabo.

This was such an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I were the only ones so it was basically a private snorkel session. Our instructor Cesar, was amazing! He knew all about the fish that we saw and was super polite. I can’t recommend enough!

The tour hour snorkeling was the perfect amount of time. We did the 2pm tour and the water was full of so many fish. Absolutely beautiful. Guides were kind, Safe and knowledgeable.

Our ship was very late getting into Port. The tour guides waited over one hour for us. They took us out on a very scenic water tour. We then went snorkeling for approximately 40 minutes. There were lots of fish in the area we were taking and we got within a few feet of a sea lion, who was vegging underwater. Baptiste was the tour guide and he was so nice and informative. Jonathan was the captain and was helpful too. We cannot thank them enough for waiting for us. I would highly recommend taking this tour. Cheaper than the cruise ship and very personalized. The location is within five minute walk from the port. We used Google maps to guide us.

Our Cabo snorkeling trip was an absolute highlight of our vacation! The crew was friendly, fun, and professional from start to finish. After snorkeling, we cruised along the coastline and got amazing views of the Arch and Lover’s Beach — perfect for photos. If you’re in Cabo and looking for something active, scenic, and truly unforgettable, this snorkeling experience is a must-do!

Manta has to be hands down the best snorkeling group we have been with. From the start, check in was easy and our guide Chuy was quick to provide us with our snorkel gear. Unlike most other tours the gear included a wet suit and fins, which is a huge plus. Our crew was made of of 3 staff: captain Flash, scuba diving guide Cesar, and our snorkeling guide Chuy (Jesus). We can only speak on our snorkeling experience and it was definitely the best guided tour we’ve ever had. Chuy was swimming with us, showing us all the fish and telling us fun facts while helping us get close to fish. He also gave helpful instruction on how to dive down deeper well remaining safe. Finding the meet up spot wasnt hard at all, just follow your GPS its in a building with other businesses. They has dressing rooms & rest rooms for before and after. Would recommend if you want a legitimate snorkel tour!

The tour we went on was just my partner and I, it was great! Martin was an excellent tour guide. The gear was professional. We saw so many tropical fish and even a sea lion. Highly recommend.

WOW!!! The tropical fish were so beautiful! I was shocked at how close they come to you. So many colors and variety of fish. The water was clear and we could see deeper than I expected. Our guide was great about pointing out fish to us and making sure we were safe.

While we had a great time, it is important for a tour company to conform to their details of booking. I booked this particular tour due to the limited number of snorkelers. They had more than 9. While it wasn’t too bad, that was the reason for booking this op. The crew was excellent.

We had a fantastic time with Manta during our snorkeling event! We brought along our 6-year-old, and Jesus was incredibly helpful, caring, and attentive in making sure she felt comfortable. His support truly put us at ease, and our little one had a wonderful time. Another highlight was that they offer wetsuits for those who prefer to wear them, which is a great bonus! The team at Manta gave us a great snorkel experience and tour of the Pelican Rock and Arch area. They are very concerned with everyone’s safety and well being. They personally fit you with all necessary equipment and guide you through the water to the best spots. We would 100% recommend and would book with them again.
