Our food guide Milton was wonderful. He was obviously excited about the food in Mexico and very proud. It was a great time and we learned a lot

Milton and Karina were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Tacos, tequila, cervezas, churros, chocolates, ice cream……..need I say more!
It started with a lesson cacao and ended in a lesson in tequila. Wandered through numerous taco shops with wonderful food.
I loved this experience.! You get so much food for the price. I almost didn't have room for dessert or tequila...almost lol! It was so worth it! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and David-our guide- was the best!!!
Pace yourself, lots of food, don't need to eat everything at every stop. Tour guide excellent! Friendly! Easy to find and get to and safe! Lots of local flavor and interesting information on both the cuisine and the tequila process!
Meh. It was boring and forced. They kept trying to pedal their stale products. The tequila tasting was underwhelming with teeni tiny microscopic pours.
All the food was great. They accommodated my picky eater. The coffee with cinnamon vanilla and orange zest was the bomb. They gave my son hot chocolate instead. *** You are rushed through the tour. They should expand it at least 45 minutes to an hour longer. Even though the food was great, you were rush from one spot to the next.
Miguel was amazing and the food was great!! It was true authentic Mexican!!
This was one of the best food tours I have ever did . Our guide David was amazing . This tour felt like I was with family just talking about food . I will definitely book it again the next time we come back to Cabo . Definitely recommend!!!
If you want to experience the local food scene, this is the way to do it! You'll start out with a class on chocolate and a bit of history, then eat at spots that most would normally pass by, trying verity of foods. Our guide David was amazing and also gave a history of the area while walking around. Youll end off with a nice tequila tasting. Best to wear comfortable shoes on this tour. Highly recommend!
Excellent food and history lesson! Miguel was fantastic. Tour included multiple local taco places, a cacao tasting and lesson and tequila tasting and lesson. Highly recommend!
Great food! Large portions . Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This tour was one of the best experiences in Cabo. The meeting spot was easy for uber to find with clear company signs. AC in the room for 90 degree weather with clean restrooms for the start of the tour. Our tour guide David was originally from CA and spoke English very well. For the price of $80/person We got to try smoked marlin, shrimp, lengua, cow heart, quesabirra(husband’s personal favorite), along with a famous seafood tostada place. There are other taco places we could try and there was no limit, but do save space, too many foods to try! Finishing the tour with michoacana ice cream whatever flavor you like. All drinks are included at every spot you stop at, any alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. By the end of the tour we were so full, we did not have any more space for chocolate or tequila tasting. However, we found space and highly recommend trying their almond tequila that truly helps digestion. I wore sandals for walking and it wasn’t that bad but I recommend comfortable walking shoes for the total tour was close to 3 hours. David was enthusiastic and showed a real love for the community and its food, we were in safe and great hands. If I return to Cabo with friends, I will be signing up for a cooking class!
This is the second time we have done this tour and it is fantastic. Miguel was our guide, his story telling and knowledge of history was great. Learned a lot and had great food! Highly recommend!
This was a good tour! It was definitely hot so it wasn’t necessarily comfortable with all the walking. And the restaurants don’t all have AC so keep that in mind. Food was great and there were lots of stops to try different types of tacos, so come hungry! We chose to skip a stop (maybe 2) because by the end we were too full. The tour guide was great giving good info on the various parts of town (you dont go too far so it’s not that much to take in) and the various ways tacos are made. We ended with a tequila tasting and that was informative and a fun experience. Overall, it was good and I’d recommend if you’re looking for something to do.
Did not go. Issues with cruise ship tender timing, could not arrange uber transportation and wife got sick after breakfast. Do 3 issues prevented us going. Plus very hot and humid Lost our fee. Bummer
The Juan More Taco Tour was absolutely amazing!!!!! All the food we tried was 10/10, the tequila tasting and history behind is, 10/10. Definitely recommend this tour when visiting Cabo. You get shown all the hidden taco spots in Cabo. Jorge was an excellent guide!
Guide was very knowledgeable and good to talk with. Food was amazing, and good places that I will go back to on our next visit. I would do this again on a future visit.
Title An Epic Food Tour Through the Flavors of Cabo 🌮 Review This food tour was absolutely epic and a must-do in Cabo! It took us through the real streets and flavors of Cabo, stopping along the way for a variety of amazing tacos, local dishes, and sweets. Definitely come with an empty stomach—you’ll leave completely satisfied. It’s basically a five-course meal on foot! David, our guide, was phenomenal—knowledgeable, personable, and made the entire experience that much better. I also loved that the business is family-owned and operated. You can really feel the TLC and pride they put into the experience. Great food, great people, and a fantastic way to experience Cabo beyond the usual tourist spots. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food at about five places, ending with a tequila lesson/tasting. Very friendly tour guide…truly enjoyed the experience!
This is a MUST do in Cabo! We arrived for our tour early and were immediately welcomed with open arms. Every employee greeted us and thanked us for coming to their place. Our tour guide Milton was exceptional! He was knowledgeable and fun! He gave us information not only about food but the Mexican culture as a whole. The food was incredible and every spot treated us like family. We were even given a mini mole tasting and Tequlia tasting during our tour. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
By far the best walking food tour we’ve ever done. My husband and I booked this taco tour to try something different than your typical excursions, and thank goodness we did. Our guide Milton was so nice and explained each stop thoroughly on what to expect and try. What we thought was going to be “just tacos” ended up being so much more. From the simplicity of battered shrimp tacos to Marlon fish tacos, then a Ceviche stop, which is my husbands favorite thing to eat! Followed with Agua frescas and/or paletas to keep us cool in the humid weather. Then we had birria tacos, and being from LA, that taco was delicious. It didn’t end there, we also tried a little more adventurous meats at the next stop, cow heart, never in my life did I think I’d eat this, but I have to say I’m not an adventurous eater, THAT MEAT WAS GOOD along with barbacoa tacos. With still 2 more stops left, you will not leave this tour hungry. Just listen to Milton, Wear comfy shoes, bring a small fan, AND MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR APPETITE !
This is a MUST DO if you love tacos and want to try from different regions. Delicious!! Miguel was so knowledgeable and was a blast even though it was blazing hot! Tacos, chocolate and tequila….what else do you need??
Great experience. David was awesome as a tour guide. All the food was really fun to eat. Be warned. There is a lot of food. Go very hungry and pace yourself. Love the experience, super informative, tequila, tasting, and chocolate education at the end was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend.
Our tour guide, Miguel was amazing! His passion for Cabo’s history, knowledge of authentic tacos, and sharing it with us made the experience unforgettable. The tacos were so delicious! We highly recommend this tour!
This was a great tour and the guide was amazing. We sampled authentic tacos in some of the hole in the wall areas - they frankly we would have never known were there. Highly recommend and try the Marlon tacos!!
Milton was a great guide who look us around to different places with different vibes/styles that we would have otherwise not been to. All the food was great and the pace was perfect! Thanks Milton!
I had a very enjoyable experience, and the food was delicious. My only suggestion would be to update the menu on the booking site. It listed tamales and elotes, but neither was available during the morning tour. Keeping the menu current would help set accurate expectations for future guests.
My favorite were the tacos el pastor! Terrific tour. Good value for your money. ONE IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE: despite what the tequila tasting leader says, you cannot take your bottles of tequila in your carry on. They have to be checked. Rules vary by airport
Great experience. It was a great blend of informative and delicious. The tour was approximately 3 hours and all of the stops on the tour were great. Our tour guide Carolina was fantastic!
We had done this tour two years ago, this time family and friends were coming with us to Cabo and were interested in this tour. We were very pleased that this time the tour went beyond just the typical tacos with updated options including machaca burritos, tamales and street corn. The dessert stop was fabulous as was the tequila tasting and churros. As an older individual the current tour also seemed to be in a more localized area so the walk was very doable. Definitely recommend
There is a lot of food! Milton our foodie guide was great, didn’t rush us and was accommodating when we asked where to by vanilla…took us to a store! Food was great and felt like a local! Well worth it.
This may have been the highlight of our entire trip. I wish we’d have done it earlier in the trip to get a feel for the local food scene instead of at the end of our trip. All the eateries Milton took us too were amazing, local authentic Mexican cuisine. We tried so many great things and learned so much about Cabo San Lucas as well as overall Mexican culture. The tequila tasting at the end was great, it was much more than just a simple tasting. We learn so much about the tequila making process and the culture surrounding it. This is a must if you are visiting Cabo. Prepare to get stuffed, it’s SO MUCH delicious food. I’m often described as a bottomless pit, but even I was having to turn food away the last few stops. I’d give this 6 stars if I could.
We had a one on one experience with our tour guide, Miguel, and it was amazing! He took us to a lot of local eateries, and the food did not disappoint. Since it’s walking tour, there’s less guilt for all the good bites. The tour also includes tequila tasting, chocolate tasting, and dessert so it’s worth every penny. I would highly recommend.
If you love tacos this tour is for you! Miguel was an amazing guide, we had so much fun learning about different types of tacos, watching fresh tortillas get made and eating!
Amazing experience! I highly recommend this tour! Milton was a fantastic guide. The food was amazing!
We had a wonderful time. David was an awesome tour guide! We ate so many good tacos and walked away full and satisfied. We also enjoyed the tequila lesson and tasting. Can't recommend enough!
If you’re visiting Cabo and want a food experience that goes far beyond the tourist trail, this tour is a must. Our guides were friendly, warm, and genuinely knowledgeable, exactly the kind of locals you want showing you around. The tacos alone are worth every penny. The variety and quality were unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Each stop was absolutely delicious. As if that weren’t enough, we also had tequila and chocolate tastings. Fascinating, fun, and so yummy. You leave not just full, but actually knowing more about Mexican food culture. Highly recommend Juan More Taco Tours to anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas. Don’t skip it.
The experience with Issy and team was the absolute best! During the shoulder season, thing were a bit slow so it was just me and two friends. We had the chance to meet and chat with Carina ahead of time. She is a lovely person. She guided us through a brief Cacao tutorial and tasting, which was fantastic and informative. Then, Issy loaded us into his van and we visited the market for a few things and then picked up cornmeal. We ended up cooking in his home, which felt like an honor. We started by making margaritas - key limes are the key! Then made salsa, guacamole, tortillas, tamales. We learned a lot and had the chance to eat delicious food. And, had the chance to get to know Issy and his house manager, Lupita. If you have the chance to do the cooking class, please do. You cannot go wrong! It was fun, informative and the family running this business is fantastic.
Such a great afternoon with Karina! She took our group of seven (five in the twenties and two 50-60yo) to so many great local spots for tacos, burritos, quesadillas and Mexican popsicles, finishing up with chocolate and tequila tasting. Karina was very informative, fun to be with and friendly as were all the others we interacted with.
I would recommend this tour to everyone! It was a great experience! Miguel was an awesome tour Director, who knew a lot of information and history on Cabo, knew the different food on Cabo from other countries and also knew the history of the families who owned the restaurants. We truly enjoyed our day!! And definitely didn't go away hungry. Lol !! So much food!! I've been coming to CABO for over 25 years and didn't even notice tour existed! It is a must do tour! Next year we're going to take the cooking class! Amazing tour!!
David was a great tour guide as he lead us to each taco stop. He gave background on each establishment and gave a description of the types of meat in each taco. He was also fun and easy to talk to. We had a great time. Unfortunately, we had to skip the tequila tasting.
Milton was our guide, and he did a phenomenal job. We had not done anything like this before and weren’t sure what to expect. But he blew away any expectations that we had. He was incredibly knowledgeable and the food was amazing!
Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommend this experience. Be prepared for walking so wear comfortable shoes. If you like tequila you're going to love the tequila tasting. Not like those tequila from the states.
Amazing experience with great guides. We have talked about doing the tour again when back in Mexico. The only negative was the people who were also on the tour and were kind of grumpy and did not enjoy the food but that was not the tours fault. The food was amazing/
This was a great way of experiencing proper Mexican tacos . Our guide Karina was very friendly and explained what each restaurant offered and gave us several recommendations that were really tasty. We finished the tour with some Tequila tasting which again was very enjoyable. If you fancy a fun tour in Cabo then I highly recommend.
So much good food. Youre going to have to get someone to roll you home. Awesome tequila awesome chocolate making tour. Highly recommend
Lots of great food, a variety of types of taco fillings. Milton was a fabulous tour guide and was very informative. Definitely recommend!
Hi The Taco Tour was very good, but you will need to go on an empty stomach as there is a lot of food to try. Our host Miguel was very good, and provide a history of the area and foods that we were going to try that evening. We stopped at 5 different locations to try the food and then stopped on a street corner for a tamale, but I was done and could not eat another bite! After that we walked down the street and enjoyed some Mexican Ice Cream, which was also very good. Then to top off the night we headed back to where we started, where we had churros with both Vanilla and Chocolate Dipping sauces, followed by a Tequila tasting and history of how it is aged and types of wood barrels used similar to Wine. Again and great night for a tasting. Regards TC
This food tour was such a highlight. Every stop was fantastic, and you can tell a lot of care went into selecting each location. Miguel did an amazing job describing not just the food, but the story and history behind it, which made the experience even more memorable. There was an abundance of food, so definitely come hungry. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting. Make sure you order the fish taco from Mercabo, it will change your life
