Cabo Pulmo 2-tank Certified Dive With Lunch

We did a two tank dive with Cabo adventures at Cabo Pulmo. We paid $330 for the 2 hour round-trip drive, dive equipment and gear, two tank both dives, and lunch. The Dive equipment and gear was terrible. There were no Dive computers, our regulators did not have functioning depth, gauges, and one of our tanks blew an O-ring at 50 feet and we nearly had to abort the Dive. We basically had to dive blind for both dives, unable to determine our depth, our Dive time, and our no decompression time. The entire experience was grossly overpriced, and the equipment was terrible. We would like Cabo adventures to reimbursement us for the cost of equipment rental. I urge diverse not to use Cabo adventures for diving as the equipment is totally unreliable.

The staff were helpful and kind. However, they continue to hold live dolphins in a small pool for visitors. If I had of known I would not have booked. You can can book directly with other dive operators at the park just need to sort out transport there.

Slightly disorganized operation using third party operators it seems. The driver, Eugenio, was great. Once we arrived to the third party in Cabo Pulmo, the trailers tire broke (it’s ok it happens) but we waited over an hour to get on the water. Someone working let us use their Go Pro for a fee, which was very kind. Our guide swam so fast through rough current to the pint that she lost everyone in our group and nobody could see her. My BCD was broken and was unnoticed until after we got on the smallest boat I’ve ever rode (dove with multiple other dive shops in Cabo with no complaints). They tied it into a knot and said it was the best they could do. Guide took us to the wrong spot where there was lots of current, surfaced out of nowhere, and then told everyone to get back on the boat without explaining what happened. First dive site was poor.

Ever was our instructor and was amazing! Super friendly and helpful. We hope to come back soon!

I was the only participant as as the 4 other people cancelled. When we got to cabo plumo the dive shop was getting things ready and took my gear on the boat. I met the boat at the beach and they were putting together my gear. Got on the boat and did two wonderful dives, got to shore and went back to the dive shop for lunch. About 1/2 hour later the boat arrived and I was getting my gear off and noticed that my stuff bag for my BCD was missing. When I asked about it they told me they did not have it. Finally, after insisting, the DM came back and said it was aboard the boat when they were assembling my gear but they must have lost it. He said to tell Cabo Adventures to contact him and they would figure out what to to. Cabo Adventures did nothing! They took my number and just looked confused when I asked them about the situation. I was the only person on the boat and they lost my travel bag, then just ignored me. Not only carless but no accountability. I would like to give a shout out to Cressi, who I contacted and so generously replaced my bag for me. This is not something you can buy, and though it is not an expensive item, when you travel with your gear it is good to have it protected.

Excellent dive option while in Cabo. So much better than Cabo San Lucas diving. This a protected reef with an abundance of coral and sea life.

Unforgettable Scuba Diving Adventure in Cabo Pulmo – 10/10! We had an incredible trip to Cabo Pulmo for scuba diving—truly one of the top highlights of our travels. With just four divers on the boat, it was an intimate, relaxed experience that felt safe and perfectly guided from start to finish. The sea was a bit rough and visibility wasn’t ideal, but it didn’t matter—the reef was absolutely teeming with life. It was like diving in a massive, living aquarium. We saw majestic bull sharks, huge schools of fish, and countless vibrant marine species. It was breathtaking. One thing that really stood out was how well-managed the marine sanctuary is by the Mexican authorities. Their care and commitment to preserving this pristine, protected environment is obvious—and deeply appreciated. It’s a model for how marine conservation should be done. The dive master and boat captain were exceptional—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about diving. The boat was well-stocked with drinks and snacks, and everything was set up for a smooth, comfortable dive. Afterwards, we were treated to a homemade lunch at a quiet local spot—a small restaurant run by a kind mother and daughter team. The fish and beef tacos were simply amazing—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. A perfect way to end a perfect dive day. I’ve dived all over the world, and I would confidently put Cabo Pulmo in my top 10 dive sites globally. I’ll absolutely be back—and will dive with this operator again without hesitation. Truly a world-class experience.

My dolphin, Aqua was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and it was awesome to see how trained and obedient she was! Definitely recommended!

The Cabo Pulmo 2 tank scuba dive excursion offered by Cabo Adventures is the absolute best. We have taken this excursion 8 times in the past 4 years and will continue to do so in the future. The dive master, Carlos, with Costa Coral and the boat Capitan, Jesus are unparalleled in professionalism and personality keeping all divers safe and well informed. They know the reefs intimately. Our drivers (especially Cirilo) go beyond driving and are most helpful in ensuring a delightful experience. The lunch served is amazingly fresh and delicious. A 10 star excursion!!!

Loved the hospitality! The crew was great. My husband and I enjoyed the activity. We came for our honeymoon and it was a 10/10 experience!

First off, my driver Gil was very helpful and knowledgeable! Also, funny at times. I enjoyed the conversations with him to and from the event! On the diving portion, we got to see a lot of marine life and the dive master did a great job leading both dives. I definitely will recommend and attend this event again!!!

Cabo Adventures 2 tank dive with breakfast and lunch is an amazing excursion for certified divers. First, Cabo Pulmo is the best place to dive in Baja, Mexico and Cabo Adventures provides a most memorable experience. Carlos, the dive Master is incredible as is the capitan of the tornado 2, Jesus. Beautiful reefs, abundant sea life all to the whale songs. Tito's served a delicious lunch and the drivers, Gabriel and Gil kept us on schedule and stopped at the tropic of cancer on the way home for the best homemade ice cream. A must for divers!

I can only say, they canceled the dive two days before it was scheduled and tried to charge me a 10% cancellation fee😳. Only after a lengthy complaint, they said they would, but it will be 2-3 weeks to process☹️

Having dived in Belize/ Costa Rica/ Caymans, was looking forward to this, but honestly, didn’t think the 2.5 hr drive (last 30 minutes on a dirt road) there and then back was worth the time. Maybe because our guide was disinterested, or because water was murky, it could have been better. We did see sting rays, eels, schools of Jacks, but coral not too impressive. We did north wall / arches in Cabo earlier in week and would suggest doing that one again vs all the effort to / fro.

This was an amazing diving experience! There were only two of us on the dive and we didn’t see anyone else while out. Cabo Pulmo is a beautiful marine sanctuary. On our first dive we were in a small canyon and the second on a sunken tuna boat. We saw a variety of marine life including very healthy looking coral. The highlights were seeing the bull sharks and lying on the bottom listening to the whales sing. Our dive master was excellent and safety was always first. I always feels safe and well looked after with this company. Our boat pilot was amazing being able to drop us right on top of the dive sites just using visual cues from the shore.

So amazing to see humpback and gray whales so close! The crew had an underwater microphone so we could experience the whale songs. Captain and crew were excellent.

This dive was epic! We saw thousands of fish, ancient coral reef, ship wreck and SHARKS! Our Guide was one of the best I've ever encountered. Tornado Diving in Cabo Pulmo was excellent. Lunch was great! Wonderful experience all the way around. Highly recommend to all divers :) I'll be back!

THINK TWICE!!! I booked this excursion to be a much anticipated dive trip but I went wrong using CABO ADVENTURES. I spent an hour waiting for the pick up shuttle in front of my resort before I was able to contact the company who hung up on me 3 times prior to telling me it was canceled without me being notified. They offered no apologies or help rebooking with another trip or company. The resort Villa Group travel agency told me they have had many complaints about similar situations with this outfit. Lesson learned I will use a different company in the future and advise others to be careful in booking with Cabo Adventures.

Absolutely incredible! Been diving for over 20 years and this was our favorite! It was like you were in an aquarium! The coral was spectacular! So many beautiful fish and the biggest eels I've ever seen! Ricardo was an amazing guide!

We thoroughly enjoyed the dive trip to Cabo Pulmo. Oscar drove us and explained everything before we left. He also was so nice to talk to on the way there. He brought us waters and a little snack. The drive was excellent. Carlos (diver master) and gato (captain) were an excellent team and showed us a great time. We saw a shark, turtle, stingray and huge fish (amberjack and grouper). We also saw huge schools of snapper and baitfish. The water was beautiful. Highly recommend!

Did one day of diving in Cabo Pulmo with Marco. Excellent surrounding area and 7/10 dive sites when comparing to other sites I have been. Marco was knowledgeable and made me feel well taken care of. Equipment met expectations. 5-7 min boat ride to the two dive sites. Only 4 divers in our group total. Driven from San Jose del Cabo by Jose who was fantastic. Friendly, funny, safe, and provided plenty of interesting facts about the areas we drove through. The drive there was a pseudo-guided tour on its own. Lunch was pretty good. Would suggest Cabo Pulmo and this dive company if in the Cabo area. Consider staying in Cabo Pulmo to save on transportation costs and get more diving in.

I spent 4 days diving with Liz (who is amazing!!!) doing both some relaxing recreational diving and also the RD course. As I said above Liz is amazing! I finished day 4 with a trip to Cabo Pulmo at 6:30 AM picked up by Gil, who was the best driver I had the entire time. Oh and he’s funny too so that was a huge plus early in the morning. Overall a pretty spectacular trip with only one minor hiccup that I’ll take up with management. I cannot thank Gil, Liz and Armando enough for accommodating me and my group!

My wife and I booked this tour 3 weeks in advance which got us a great discounted price on this full-day tour including being picked up from our resort in Cabo San Lucas around 7 a.m. and getting back around 5 p.m. Our driver Julio was amazing and provided us with water and a breakfast snack during our 2-hour drive to Cabo Pulmo where we only had to stop once to pick up another young couple who signed up for the same dive trip. Upon arrival at their Cabo Pulmo dive shop, we got geared up and were introduced to Carlos (Dive Master) and Gato (boat Captain) who treated us to an amazing experience! They explained the various dive sites available and what we may see at each one. While June is not the most perfect month for warm water and great visibility, we were still able to see certain species of fish we have never seen before like a "guitar fish." After the dives, we used the outdoor shower to freshen up and then enjoyed the local lunch provided next door to the dive shop which was included with the cost of the trip. Carlos and Gato mentioned that October-November are the best times to dive in Cabo Pulmo when the water is warmest with the highest visibility (~150 feet), so we will definitely be planning another trip during that time and will look forward to diving with Carlos and Gato again!

Incredible experience of Scuba diving in Cabo Pulmo. Advanced monitor with high level of knowledge about the location and technical procedures really important in this sport. I give them 5 stars because Angel but the organisation of Cabo Adventures was not nice... they gave me 3 different prices and I had to call them many times to make the reservation but anyway this was one of the most wonderful experiences in my life.

The diving was very good. We saw a lot of different kinds of species and large formations of fish. They provide the transportation from Cabo Cabo San Lucas to Cabo Pulmo that is around of two hours. They also gave us two times food, one lunch and one meal in a restaurant in Cabo Pulmo. The lunch was meh, but the meal in the restaurant was very good. Angel was our diving guide and he was very careful and answering all our questions, you can see that he has a lot of experience in diving. The driver was Gil and he is very kind and has a lot of energy. They say Cabo Pulmo is the aquarium of the whole world, and I leave with that same impression.

Did this dive for the second year in a row, and it is fantastic! Angel our guide and driver was absolutely awesome! I cannot recommend this dive enough and if you get the chance to have Angel as your divemaster you are going to be in good hands.

Some of the best diving in the world! We had great visibility and saw tons of fish. The trip from Cabo San Lucas to Pulmo is a little bit of a hike...but it’s worth it! Angel from Cabo Adventures took great care f our group and we would highly recommend him!

My husband and I dove today with Angel and Charlie and it was amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, dives or food. Angel was great, super friendly and great convo in the ride over. During the dive he was awesome at pointing out things to look at, including the 2 bull sharks that swam right by! Can’t wait to be back and dive again!!

We wanted to dive w sharks and Angel Salcedo was amazing! He made us the Unbelievable bucket list dive w bull sharks! best sandwiches and snacks for our morning drive to Cabo Pulmo. He was our driver up there and was great at explaining what to look for when we dive. Angel was so fun. Great music on the drive. First dive we saw moray eels groupers parrot fish and amazing other sea life. It had quite a current so Angel knew where to lead us to keep us low and out of the current. 2nd dive we got blessed - the park let us go to the shipwreck site. We went down fast to avoid the current and laid on the bottom. We immediately saw bull sharks 6-8 feet in length and so big around. They were curious so we had to stay low on the bottom it was an amazing experience we will never forget. The authentic Mexican lunch at the restaurant was awesome. We love Angel Salcedo! He is our friend now and we will dive with him again! Our chef, driver, dive instructor and photographer. Amazing!!!

This was an unforgettable experience. Our dive master Angel was very professional and safety oriented. The driver Gil was courteous and extremely helpful with bags and gear. This is my third diving experience with Cabo Adventures and EVERY time I dive with them I feel safe and their guided dives are bucket list quality. The amount of wildlife observed is too numerous to list here but I’ll name a few of the highlights. This is in addition to the hundreds of fish observed. 1. Manta Ray 2. Moray Eels 3. Stingrays 4. Sea turtle (crowning observation) Through the entire experience Angel was mindful of the group and gas usage. Angel promoted Reef awareness and stewardship. The boat captain was always alert and located right where we surfaced every time. If you dive in Cabo, dive with Cabo Adventures. If you dive with Angel, tell them Jerry sent you 😋

This was awesome. We went on a all Inclusive scuba package to Cabo Pulmo. Our outstanding guide Angel took on 2 dives. The second being an amazing experience where we saw some very large Bull sharks. Angel had briefed us very well on how to react if we saw any sharks which made this a memorable experience. I highly recommend it

We went with Cabo Adventures on this tour and we were fortunate to have the famous Ricardo Delgado, a more than excellent guide, explain much of the history of the peninsula from the time of the colony to how the park became a protected natural Rea and World Heritage Site. Once there I explained the rules and why they are so strict. The diving was amazing. Ricardo always on the lookout for the group (a small group by the way) The captain of the boat “wero” also excellent, both in his handling of the boat, help us to get on and in the organization and accommodation of the team during the time we were on the surface. My only suggestion would be a transport (a Suburban or large SUV perhaps) along the terrace section. From there on out everything Perfect

It was excellent, they passed me to the hotel and transferred us to Cabo Pulmo, it is a National Park and everything is very clean and controlled, very simple the place but with everything necessary for a very satisfying diving experience. We did 2 dives one in "El hundred" and another in "el islet" places with lots of marine life and very nice reefs. Angel is an excellent dive guide and is a very attentive person and explained the plan well before each dive, plus it is an excellent place because the dive spots are relatively close to the coast. There are quite nice reefs and lots of marine life. I'm dying to come back. By the way at the end of the dive the food is excellent, the fish tacos delicious and very good sauces, Delicious local beer, (dark beer I liked better than light )
