Cabo Private Whale Watching Tour With Food, Drinks & Snorkeling

We booked a private yacht for a bachelorette party, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless. I worked directly with the owner, who was incredibly friendly, informative, and responsive. She answered all of my questions and made me feel confident that we were in good hands. The company was professional, trustworthy, and punctual. We did have to adjust our departure time the day before due to a scheduling issue, but it worked out perfectly for our group. As a bonus, we were upgraded to a larger yacht since our original boat was unavailable—and the upgrade was amazing! There were eight of us, and the yacht was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our bachelorette celebration. The food and drinks were delicious, and we loved all of the water activities, including snorkeling and the floating water mat. The captain and crew were fantastic—attentive, friendly, and always making sure we had everything we needed. They kept the drinks flowing, served great food, and made the entire experience feel effortless and fun. We had an incredible time and created so many wonderful memories. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a private yacht experience in Los Cabos!

We had such a great time on this tour. Arturo and Nadia were amazing hosts and so personable. Nadia would come up and tell us tidbits of the scenery as well as consistently refilling drinks, etc. They made sure we saw whales and tried to stay away from the other tourist boats so we could see the whales peacefully. The boat was comfortable. Sitting up front while whale watching in the beautiful weather with view of Cabo was amazing as well. I couldn't recommend this tour any more and I've been on a lot of excursions. We felt safe and taken care of.

Our crew yesterday was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the very moment we stepped on board, they made sure we were completely taken care of and felt welcome. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism truly stood out. It was an incredible experience getting out on the ocean—soaking up the sun, enjoying the fresh air, and even getting to see whales! We couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better crew. We took this excursion with our family to see the whales. Our captain was very respectful to the wildlife and we got to see plenty of whales while keeping our distance. We were able to stop, swim, and snorkel at the end. We would use them again!!

This was a very professional excursion Pablo and Eric were great. Very respectful of the sea life. Watched others in the ocean and was very thankful for the boat we were on.

Sweetie Pie was the highlight of our trip to Cabo. Can’t recommend this highly enough. Was really fun to see the whales breach and the arch up close.

The views were amazing, and the service was just as great! There were 8 of us for this excursion, plus the 2 staff, which was a great fit for the boat. Captains Fernando and Pedro made sure every aspect was covered from letting us choose/play our own music, to making sure we were all comfortable. They were also great photographers, taking any and every photo we asked of them. They served us margaritas, beers, soda and water to drink, and the food was ceviche and guac/salsa and chips for appetizers and chicken and steak fajitas for the main lunch! Everything was yummy! We were lucky enough to catch sight a single whale (end of season), but the one we saw put on quite a show for us! We also saw a sea turtle and several sea lions. We anchored at Lovers Beach and took pics with the rock formations. The water was beyond clear and that gorgeous Caribbean blue we all dream of! We opted to not snorkel, but the water was definitely clear enough if you wanted to. Thanks to Fernando and Pedro for a great 3 hours with our family & friends :)

As a travel professional and frequent visitor to Cabo San Lucas, I was eager to experience Boat Adventures for a private two-hour family tour during our recent vacation. From the outset, the communication with the company was excellent. Their staff was courteous, responsive, and genuinely committed to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our family. The highlights of the tour were truly memorable—cruising past the iconic Arch, watching whales breach in the open water, and taking in the stunning coastline. The crew onboard was friendly and attentive, making sure our family felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the excursion. It’s clear the company values service and hospitality. That said, we were extremely disappointed by a last-minute switch of the boat we had originally booked. Our choice was based on the amenities, layout, and condition of the vessel advertised, which was an important part of the experience we were looking forward to. Without any notice or explanation, we were moved to a noticeably older boat that lacked the features and level of upkeep we expected. Unfortunately, no compensation or accommodation was offered for the downgrade, which left us feeling that a key part of the value promised was not delivered. While we still had a wonderful time on the water, I do hope the company takes this feedback seriously. Transparency and honoring what guests have selected—especially for private charters—are essential. With improved communication and consideration in situations like this, Boat Adventures has the potential to consistently deliver five-star experiences.

Booking was a breeze! It was a professional yet fun experience. The music was playing in the background, and drinks were served. The photo backdrops were amazing, and you could swim and snorkel in a clean and clear area.

Our captains did an amazing job making our experience one to remember! They were very attentive and caring. The best part was that it was truly catered to us. Between whale watching, options of water activities, and down to the music as they let us connect to their Bluetooth. This is something I will be doing again!

We had the most incredible day cruising and whale watching with Captain and Raul in Cabo! From the moment we stepped onboard, the vibe was perfect – relaxing, fun, and full of positive energy. Raul was absolutely amazing – always one step ahead with the perfect drink in hand and quick to help with anything we needed. Not to mention, he’s got a serious eye for photography. He snapped some incredible shots of our whole crew that we’ll treasure forever. The highlight of the day was celebrating the anniversary of our dear friend’s victory over cancer. The entire experience made her feel so special and celebrated, and it’s a day none of us will ever forget. Seeing whales up close, feeling the sun on our faces, and being surrounded by good friends and top-notch service – it just doesn’t get better than that. Highly recommend this experience. This was our third time booking this private yacht tour, and it never disappoints! Every time, the experience is absolutely incredible. The crew is beyond attentive, ensuring we’re comfortable and have everything we need, from refreshing drinks to snorkeling gear. The yacht itself is stunning - clean, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing day on the water. The highlight? Whale watching! We were lucky enough to see multiple whales breaching right near our boat, an experience that felt surreal. The captain skillfully positioned us for the best views while respecting the wildlife, which I truly appreciate. Snorkeling was another amazing part of the trip - the water was crystal clear, and we saw vibrant fish and marine life up close. The drinks and snacks were a great touch, making the whole experience feel luxurious and carefree. Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, this tour has it all. The crew was amazing and very informative. They put up with 4 ladies that wanted to have a 3 hour whale watching tour. We were greatly impressed with them respecting the whales and keeping an appropriate distance for the safety of the whales. We saw many other boats who did not and were too close to the whales. We did see a juvenile and a while pod of whales this late in the season. We were lucky!

Unfortunately the address listed was confusing when we got our uber. If you are in Cabo there are 2 addresses that are almost identical and we picked the wrong one causing us to be 1-hour late. I tried to call the tour operator a few times and he was just so rude and little to no help. Once we got to the location the gate was shut and the tour operators saw our family of 8 and finally came to the door after staring at us for a few minutes. I asked if he could please extend the hour because we paid so much money and he rudely said no. We got on the boat and the tour operator gave us to little to no information about what we were seeing. We brought our own small bottle of tequila which ran out because there were 4 adults. When I asked the tour operator for some of the alcohol included that we paid for he said they didn’t have any then a hour later tells us he can make us a drink. The tour operator and the assistant were both drinking a beer. So not safe or professional at all. Below deck was so dirty and smelled so bad. The toilet flush pedal after 2 flushes broke. For the cost of this I do not recommend this. I travel a lot and use Viator each time and I have never experienced this before. So disappointed

We had 4 teens and 4 adults they enjoyed seeing the whales and snorkeling. Freddie and Pablo do an excellent job. This was about the same price per person for us 8 as any other whale watching tour. We loved it!

It took me some time to convince my group that we need to go whale watching. Well guess what? This was their favorite thing about the vacation!! I can't say enough good things, we absolutely loved it!! Having private yacht was the perfect way to go.

We had a wonderful time. We had three small children on our yacht, and the captain and first mate were so kind and accommodating to our needs. Everyone enjoyed it and we got to see some whales! The views were stunning. Bring plenty of sunscreen! You may want to bring your own infant life jacket if you have an infant with you.

This was an awesome experience. The captain and first mate were wonderful. This excursion was exactly as described. The boat/yacht was clean. The crew were very respectful of the whales and didn’t get too close. I can’t say the same for other boats.

This was the highlight of our family's trip to Cabo. We saw plenty of whales, and our boys snorkeled for the first time. Pablo and Freddie were excellent captains and guides, telling us about the whales, the ocean, and making sure that we had a wonderful time. We filled up on the delicious guacamole and ceviche, so they kindly packed up our fajitas to go so we could get more time in the water. They also got an incredible picture of us at the front of the yacht with El Arco in the background. I can't recommend this tour and the operator enough.

This trip was perfect. The captain was friendly and let us pick how much time we spent whale watching vs snorkeling. He was knowledge about whales and even pointed out where they would be coming up. The boat was very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Every part was great. They were easy to get in touch with, very accommodating and flexible. Both Freddy and Pablo were fun and kind. We had a great time and saw several whales and a beautiful sunset.

The entire process was easy and fun! There were 6 of us, including 2 elderly so renting a private yacht made sense when other companies charged ~$100 per person and yacht would be shared. We went to dock C as instructed. Met by Freddy and Pablo who helped us board and we were off. We saw the famous arch and other rock formations. Whale watching was fantastic. We filmed one segment for 4.5 minutes, during which the whales displayed their wonders. We then went swimming and sat on their lily pad near the coast. So relaxing! It was two hours well spent.

We have a beautiful and exciting experience. We can see whales near us. we recommend this activity always.

This tour has a lot of flexibility to spend as much or as little time as you like whale watching or swimming / snorkeling based on how you prefer to spend your designated time.

Manny is the owner of the company & Freddy & Pablo are his crew members. They could not have been more welcoming and friendly! They showed us the beautiful arches as well as various beaches. They anchored so that we could snorkel & they provided all the gear. It was so much fun!! I loved the boat! Highly recommend for a great experience!

I booked this excursion for a group of 9 friends. The trip was great overall with a great crew. Amazing scenery and whale sightings.

We had the most beautiful day on the water and loved every second of it. The crew was on time, they were very responsive prior to the day answering all my questions. They even gave us a complimentary balloon and happy birthday set up (it was my partner and my birthday) and food. They anchored so we could swim up to a private beach. It was just a perfect day and an amazing experience I would HIGHLY recommend!

Highly recommend this company! Fit our group perfectly! Great service on board. We loved how the front of the boat was comfy and spacious so we could suntan in the front and a great space in the back of the boat to sit and have drinks! The paddle board and water mat that they supplied was awesome! Would 100% use them again if I’m ever back.

Raul and Paublo were excellent hosts. Very attentive and friendly. We had a 2 hour tour just the two of us but the boat would easily accommodate 6. Exactly what we were looking for in a boat tour. Would definitely book again on next visit. The drinks they made for us were amazing and unexpected. Look no further if you want a professional crew with a friendly vibe.

I wish I could write a better review for the experience, but the service was awful. Starting with the good... We had a private boat we got to take out on the water for what I feel was a great price. The boat was clean, and had a bathroom. We were fortunate enough to be able to see some whales which was super exciting. The bad.... I can't even tell you who our tour guides were because they never told us their names. Should we have asked at some point? Probably, but they were not exactly friendly or interested in interacting with us. Before we launched we told them that our biggest interest was snorkeling and if we saw some whales that would be icing on the cake. Again, they found us whales which was awesome. Did we snorkel....nope. We anchored the boat for snorkeling, yet no snorkeling gear was provided. Our group ranged in age from 10 to 75 (our 75 year old being very active and up for snorkeling). They unrolled a big mat off the back of the boat and that was all they did. No instructions, no guidance, no nothing really. Those of us that wanted to jump in did. The water was very choppy. Honestly, not what I would think is safe for anyone who doesn't have a lot of ocean experience. We do not. It was extremely difficult to get back on to this mat they rolled out from the water, but did they offer any help of suggestions? Nope. We asked for snorkeling gear, which really, should we have had to? We already established that's what we wanted to do. They tossed us two pairs of flippers. There were 5 of us in the water. No masks. Just two pairs of flippers... Also, the drinks provided were water and a 2 liter of Fresca. I was not in it for the drinks, but a 2 liter of Fresca was a bit disappointing to my kids who might have enjoyed a soda. Anyways, if you want a fun adventure I would look at a different company. Like I mentioned, we got to see whales and the boat was in good shape, but the service, or lack of, that we experienced was disappointing.

We enjoyed the yacht and crew. We saw whales even though it was the end of the season. We snorkeled--a little less clarity in the water but still fun. We paddle boarded too and cruised the Sea of Cortez. Great experience and value.

My son and husband went on this and it was just the two of them and two captains. They were afforded a custom experience to do what they chose to do. They saw whales and babies! I highly recommend this!
