⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a FUN day in Cabo! ☀️🌊🍹 Mark and I had the BEST time on this excursion! The crew was absolutely fantastic—so professional, friendly, helpful, and fun! The music was great, the drinks were flowing, and the food was delicious! Such a fun, relaxing atmosphere! The snorkeling was wonderful, and the water temperature was absolutely perfect! I especially loved how organized everything was. The crew gave clear instructions and offered two different swimming options. Strong swimmers could join a guided 45-minute swim, while those who preferred to take it easy could snorkel around the boat and hop back aboard whenever they wanted. No pressure, just enjoy yourself! Beautiful scenery, great people, yummy food, refreshing cocktails, and plenty of fun! What more could you ask for? A professional photographer as well! ! We would absolutely do this again! Highly recommend! 🐠⛵️🌴 #CaboEscape #CaboSanLucas #LosCabos #SnorkelingAdventure #MakingMemories

Loved the experience, tasty food, cleanse, excellent crew, kindness. Highly recommended!
Amazing vibe, so fun, absolutely loved this and will go again!! Raul is an AMAZING host ! A very family friendly experience I will always recommend this to anyone. Definitely worth the money!!
We attended 3 snorkel tours this past week and had an excellent time, the food was excellent and the crew was great. Raul the tour organizer was great and kept everyone having a great time! we will be back again.
Was on the snorkel tour in Cabo with a large group of friends. Super fun with a great crew, good drinks, and excellent lunch. Raul the MC was fun, friendly and made the trip entertaining. Only saw a glimpse of 1 humpback but we were on the tail end of whale season anyway. Highly recommend!
Super nice people!! Drinks were unlimited, theres food was really good. They charged me $109 for each person it included pick up. there is a vip option which includes more drinks but the basic is more than enough! I highly recommend it!
Excellent 4 hour excursion! Our family got to see seals in the bay, whales further out, and the beautiful arch. Dom provided excellent table service and recommendations. Jonas & Makavenco rounded on us throughout our boat ride to make sure we had everything we needed. A lunch of street tacos (pork, chicken, steak) along with rice, beans & salad provided about half way thru the trip, after the 20-30 mins of snorkeling. There were 2 boat leaders, one Raul… Fun & friendly atmosphere with music!
I’ve done almost all the snorkel cruises out of Cabo over the last 10 years and I really like this one. Boat is great. Food is good. Drinks actually have booze in them. What more could you want!
As visitors from Australia we had very high expectations of this cruise as we have some of the best beaches and coral reefs in the world. We attended this cruise as a family with teenage children aged 16 and 18. Sadly from the very beginning this tour did not hit the mark. The music was so loud no one could think, let alone have a conversation. The view of the Arch was great, but there were a lot of smaller boats in front of us and we stopped there for a very long time. The advertisement made it sound like we got to get out and swim at Lover’s Beach. The trip to snorkelling spot took way too long to thumping music and people getting very drunk. When we actually got into the water, the water was dirty, with not only nature from the storm the day before but a condom floating by. The smell of petrol from the boat was overwhelming. And the fish were very disappointing. Two types, but very minimal, we were lucky to see 15 fish. On the way back we were told if the music was too loud to go downstairs, but there was not enough room. All four of us chose not to eat the lunch as one was sea sick and the other three just too hot and bothered. I’d save my money on a snorkeling trip in Australia.
Cash was stolen out of our bag while we were snorkeling. Take all belongings with you out on the water if you don’t want it stolen.
Our party of 7, ages 18-55, booked this and was disappointed in having to sit upstairs in the blistering sun for the hour and half ride to the snorkle spot, Chilean beach. The ride there took a very long time. I felt like there were two different experiences, miserable up top with blasting music, no shade, and no breeze, then those who were downstairs with shade and a nice cool breeze. They should clarify the experiences when they offer you the paid upgrade. The VIP experience was pitched as having alcohol upgrades but we were not drinking before snorkling and on the boat, everyone was served the same alcohol options. 3 of my children got sunsick for sitting for 1.5 hours with NO Shade Or reprieve! I would use again and upgrade.
Starting with ease of transportation, clean van, excellent service, lovely environment. Fun activities for all interests.
Bottom line: this was a great excursion… first of all, the staff was really fun, pleasant and attentive. The catamaran ride (with a stop at the arch for photo ops) to the snorkel area was nice. The upper deck had a party atmosphere, while the lower deck was quieter. The equipment was clean and new. One of the staff took extra time to ensure that my life jacket was properly fitted. The taco lunch was freshly made and tasty. Overall it was a great experience
I put 1star just because I have to but this is a 0 star,I went on April 7 for the sunset dinner.when I was checking in to get my
This IS NOT a snorkeling tour. This is a party boat ride with lunch and drinks… with 20 min to swim in the ocean with snorkel gear without anything to see and they don’t let you swim away from the boat. If you’re lucky, you’ll see some whales. Not family friendly… we had teens about at the 18 age and I’m glad they were that old. I would have been mad if they were any younger! Staff is nice, food is fine! Not worth the money if you ask me.
It is definitely more of a party boat, drinks are not good (cheap alcohol) unless you want to pay extra. Snorkeling was less than average. The food, whales & cruising were the best part.
Very poor setup for kids. Trip was advertised as a family friendly trip but was simply a booze cruise with a 25 minute stop to swim in an area with little sea life and in 50 feet of water.
Had a great time. Beautiful veiw and great staff. A great day trip. I would recommend this to my friends Our driver Mitchel was awesome aswell
Advertised as snorkeling. It was a party boat with lots of booze, loud music, and crazy people. Wearing a life jacket was required. There were no flippers, just a mask and snorkel which some didn't even get. Everyone was required to stay in a small area immediately behind the boat. Constantly bumping into other floaters. I wouldn't go again.
Francisco Alvarez was a very informative and fun guide I would recommend him for every adventure you have in cabo san lucas.
Where we stayed at Villa Del Palmar Cabo. They advertised a photo of two people snorkeling with swim fins, snorkel, and a mask without a giant orange life vest diving down into crystal clear water with rock formations. It also says relaxing music. Well nope!!!! First they tell you a time to be there where you stand in the sun for an hour. There is shade there but not where you are lined up. We sat on the lower part of the boat and the bass was thumping through the floor from above. You take a nice ride along the coast to Chileno Bay where you are parked offshore away from any rock formations or coral where is normally a good snorkel location. Then you wait in a huge line to get in the water wearing a giant orange life preserver which were black and moldy looking and are not given swim fins. I asked about fins and was told it was a snorkel trip not a scuba trip. After swimming through a crowd of at least 40 to 50 people and only seeing green water it was time to get back on the boat. Horrible experience! On the way back if you wanted something to drink you had to go upstairs to the bar where the music was so loud unlike the calm light dance or reggae music. It actually hurt my ears hearing SHOT SHOT SHOT pumping out of the speakers at ear level of the bar. The cruise was a total booze cruise unlike the advertised email that I received from Resotcom. Don’t waste your time unless you’re looking for that sort of experience.
The overall activity was great. The boat crew was friendly and customer service was excellent. Music 🎶 on point for a fun time. The meal served was muy delish!! We saw Orcas which was a pleasant surprise. The snorkeling was a little disappointing as the water was murky. There and captain were absolutely focused on safety first and ensured everyone stayed in the appropriate areas. Drinks flow and you will leave feeling peaceful and relaxed.
The snorkelling wasn't really existent. Hardly saw any fish and there was no reef. Crew threw some tacos in and a few fish came up. We didn't get fins and weren't allowed anywhere else despite the fairly calm waters. Almost a hundred people in the water and everyone had to wear life jackets all the time which kind of let down the snorkelling experience. However if you're into the party scene it's great! Open bar (generous with the pours) and friendly staff. The lunch is good too. Music upstairs is really loud and they had a DJ. Tip: we bought tickets for USD$80 each but some people in the line to get on said they paid a discount rate of USD$50 each so it's possible to find a deal somewhere and I don't think it's worth $80 . Also, no need for the VIP upgrade of extra USD$85 as it's only for brand name spirits and the cheap ones were fine. They made cocktails! Tip: line up early if you want a table downstairs in the shade. Otherwise top deck great in the sun (and that's where the party is),
WORST snorkeling experience ever! I have snorkels in six different countries this was a major rip-off. You were let off a boat in the middle of the ocean with the current taking you away, no snorkeling they made you immediately get back on the boat after being in the water for 5 minutes.I heard people yell for help to be pulled back to the boat. I called to get my money back where they told me there were no problems you call saving three people that are calling for help to be pulled back to the boat no problem? Don't do it major scam
The best part of this cruise is the food was good. If you want a booze and food cruise, this is 4 ⭐️. If you want to go snorkeling, 1 ⭐️. We spent maybe 15 minutes in the water. Huge letdown. We didn’t even go to a good area. Few fish.
We stood in line for an hour and were told to stand in the second line. We got there before 2/3rds of the other passengers, but our line wasn’t allowed on until the first line, which included passengers that arrived up until the boarding time, boarded. So there wasn’t any seating left on the bottom deck of the cruise and we had to sit on the top unshaded part with extremely loud music and drunks. My children and myself were so uncomfortable. I wouldn’t have done this tour had I known it was limited seating for families and that it was a party boat.
Horrible cruise. Worst staff in Cabo. Old boat, run down, paint chipping off, unmarked liquor bottles, watered down drinks. Bad service all around
We did the Cabo Escape, and I clearly didn’t read enough reviews. Snorkeling was terrible. It wasn’t even snorkeling. We had poor visibility, the water was quite deep, so not much chance to see what few fish were around. They did not have fins for anyone to use, and we had a small space directly behind the boat that they kept yelling at us to stay in. Literally as soon as we got in they were yelling at people to come back on board. Maybe Cabo doesn’t have good snorkeling, maybe this just wasn’t the place to be. We have been snorkeling in Okinawa, in Hawaii, in St. Thomas, in Key West…maybe Cabo just isn’t the place to snorkel. I’m disappointed I spent that much money for what we got. Many, many “snorkelers” were stung by was could only have been jellyfish, or jellyfish larvae. The crew insisted they were “sea creatures that fly.” They had one little roll on med they were applying to everyone. They had no vinegar or anything similar on board to help with stings. The food was good, the drinks were good, and until the end, the crew was nice. When it came to tip time, my son grabbed the money from his dad to go put in the box- before his dad finished getting money out. When he put the tip in (admittedly very little- we weren’t done pulling money out of our wallets) the crew member holding the box shook a $100 USD bill at him as said “THIS is a tip.” We did add more, as planned all along, though that soured it a bit. I think it would be better to advertise this as a booze cruise with a swim opportunity, not snorkeling, because this absolutely was not snorkeling. I wish we had done the cheap water taxi to see the arch and called it a day.
We booked a midday snorkeling tour out of San Lucas, hoping to get some time to snorkel and swim since most beaches here are not swimmable. Sadly this turned out to be more of a booze cruise than anything else. 90 minutes of loud dance music and cheap drinks, followed by not even 30 minutes to actually be in the water before we had to go back. Getting into and out of the water was an ordeal with the crown and the boat exhaust fumes making us sick. The captain picks the site and for some reason picked a spot with really poor visibility and not much to see. We probably saw more trash in the water than sealife. This I can’t blame on the company - maybe conditions were crappy everywhere that day, but I do blame them for not letting us have any time to look around for a spot that wasn’t murky. The staff were friendly and the food was actually decent, but the whole point was snorkeling and swimming which was a terrible experience. I rarely write reviews but I figured my 10 minutes here might save someone from losing a day of their vacation to this. If you’re looking for loud music and cheap drinks without a care for actual snorkeling then this is the event for you.
Snorkeling was disappointing, everyone was required to wear lifejackets. Other parts of the trip were enjoyable.
Very fun cruise, staff is wonderful! I do this one e every time I am here. Food is good. Service is great 👍 we did see whales in February.
First of all, the boat and crew were excellent! The day was warm and sunny. It was a relaxing way to see the area from the water. The actual snorkeling lasted about 15-25 minutes. Took awhile to find some fairly calm water. Saw many fish, but most were very similar. Water was a little murky. Not many colorful fish. Lunch was very good IF you like tacos. Beef, pork and chicken. All good. Nice excursion, but not really a strong snorkeling event.
The one star is for the crew, who (besides the captain as he didn't engage with many people) were nice enough with a couple that were actually great. The rest of the excursion, not so much. I will admit though that we ordered a "catamaran sailing snorkel cruise" and this was not at all what we bought, so that may or may not be on Cabo Escape but all the same it wasn't worthy of any stars. Had I known what I was really getting (I'm not even sure how to describe this, a motor party boat???) I would have made a hard pass. The boat was uncomfortable in it's gas-chugging glory, hard fiberflass or melamine seats, very few spots to sit in the sun and enjoy the ocean breeze and sea spray like a sail catamaran has, with blaring music on bad speakers everywhere. The boat was clean, but two bathrooms were out of TP by the return leg. Now for the snorkeling. That was an absolute joke. We were shuttled to a small beach with an even smaller snorkel area, had to wear life vests in the water without dispute, and dumped into very poor visibility water (sub 5') in the middle of some beach-goers, literally yelled at to stay within the tour "guide's" imaginary line, and then the crew threw chum bait - bread - out for the fish to come up. All I got was a few chunks of bread thrown at my face and a few dozen seagulls attacking the bread all around. Gross and un-fricking-believable. I have never witnessed anything so pathetic and amateur as this trip. I "bobbed" for 3 minutes and after the second batch of bread pellets I swam back to the boat, regretting wasting that much of my precious Cabo time on Joe Bob's bread bomb tour. The rest of the group lasted MAYBE 10-15 more minutes, it was just that bad even for those that had never done something like this before. Perhaps Cabo isn't the place to snorkel, seems like a lot of dead zones around the beaches, so great then just don't offer this joke of an excursion. The pic is literally the extend of the snorkeling, a pile of people bobbing up & down in about 50' radius nearly hitting each other as bread was tossed on them. So all in all we spent 3 hrs on a lame ass boat to park in murky water to eat decent tacos & drink cheap bar drinks. Wow.
The ocean was too rough to snorkel. They told us once we were 2 hours in to the ride taking our money and not telling us before, even though they knew. They then let us jump in water, life jackets required, threw food in the water and were able to "snorkel". The entire time they were yelling at us to stay near the boat and we weren't allowed to go near the reef. Thus the snorkeling was 60 people kicking each others while having food thrown in the water to attract fish. It was 4 hours of an afternoon wasted. So disappointed. The boat held about 60 people so you will be snorkeling with a crowd. "Lunch" was served at 300, spicy tacos. Needless to say bring snacks and water or better yet, don't take this excursion. Get a snorkel and fins and go to pelican bay for a 5$ taxi.
I’ll start with the best of the lunch cruise and snorkel. The tacos they prepared on the boat were like those you would get in a solid authentic restaurant-just superb. The cruise was wonderful because we went from the marina along the coast to Chilano bay. It was warm so there wasn’t a lot of dancing on board. They kept the music at a good volume so it wasn’t blaring. We met awesome people to hang with and really enjoyed ourselves. The crew also put safety first. We thought we might not snorkel because of rough water and safety concerns. It turned out that we did get in the water. If you’re a hard core snorkeled…this isn’t the tour to book. I saw fish..we also saw a turtle and seal during the ride. My 4 stars is for being picked up at the hotel and dropped off an hour early-clearly, so we would buy drinks at the adjacent bar. We didn’t really care for that..and we’d left money and credit cards at hotel..so we just had to sit the hour.
I saw someone else write that this was the worst snorkeling experience they’ve ever had. I couldn’t agree more. First, the ride is not relaxing, it’s more of a party boat with clubbing music. I left with a headache. My boyfriend was given an extremely dirty life jacket. He didn’t mind it, but I did. I asked for a different one. Given him that one, I realized the strap loop was broken and digging into his skin. I took it back to which 3/8 employees made a big fuss about it. Telling me that he needs to be a man and come ask for it himself. They were giving me a bad time instead of just apologizing and throwing away the brown filthy and broken jackets. My boyfriend doesn’t mind but I do, so that’s why I went to exchange it. We paid money to be on this boat. I wanted him to be comfortable. FILTHY SNORKEL GEAR. I was literally gagging. It was disgusting to see that they simply dipped the previously used snorkel gear into a trash can with soapy water that smelled like mouthwash. I didn’t even use the mouthpiece because I was so grossed out. I tried to clean the inside of the goggles with my skirt. To which a ton of black gunk came off. was Absolutely gross. So I just wore them as is instead of trying to clean them further and dirty my skirt more. They don’t make use of their labor properly. Instead of having 8 employees standing around on the boat eating and asking people if they want drinks why not have one do that and the rest clean the goggles properly. You’re put into the water with about 60 other people, splashing, kicking, and bumping into you. For about 20 minutes with tortillas thrown into the water to attract the fish. My life jacket was so loose it was uncomfortable and I was slipping through it. I went to wash my hands before eating and there was no soap or sanitizer in the bathroom. I cannot make this up. It was awful. I cried afterwards because I wanted to do something fun with my last day in Cabo. I thought snorkeling would be fun. I genuinely feel like this is a scam, it’s advertised as something totally different. This is the worst activity we did by far. Not only will you waste your money but also 3 hours of your vacation time. I can’t be the only person to feel this way. Most people just say at the tables looking miserable. A booze cruise isn’t what they paid for. We wanted a snorkeling experience.
Advertised as Cabo Escape Snorkel Fun to lure in tourists for a snorkeling adventure when it really is a party boat with an option of snorkeling. The cruise is great if you want to drink booze and be on a party boat with loud music, eat lunch on a boat, and hang out for a couple hours. If you’re looking to snorkel, it’s the worst experience. It’s a long boat ride to get to the snorkeling destination, maybe 40 mins to an hour. They provide googles and snorkel, but note there is only one size available, so if you pay for kids, it likely won’t fit. Fins aren’t provided. The total snorkel time was not long, maybe 30 mins total to get in and out of the water, and there’s a lot of people. Everyone was pretty much in the same area since it was difficult to explore. It was really crowded and uncomfortable. They throw some tortilla in the water to get some fish to see, but aside from that, there wasn’t much to see. Then they call you on the boat for lunch. Then you’re on the boat again to head back for another 40 mins to hour. The lunch was decent, but I could do without it. Wanted a good, let alone decent snorkeling experience and this was the worst.
The boat ride was good. Lunch was provided we had tacos they were okay. Snorkeling was not good saw about 15 fish & just 1 stop within a 3hr trip? I was really hoping the trip included stopping in different places to snorkel and we never saw the Sea Lions or turtles. Also the transportation was not included or even offered in our package!
The trip was very fun! If you’re looking for a fun vibe, great music and drinks available this is your trip. Very fun time.
Excellent, snorkeling tour/party boat. Service was amazing, food was great, they made sure you had a drink in your hand the entire time. The upper deck was a street party boat, great music. I highly recommend this store, and you will not be disappointed.
This was a party boat. The staff was great. Very friendly snd hard working. Excellent service as well. Delicious lunch and drinks/beer included. The snorkeling was not ver good though. If u want to snorkel go to Pelican Rock
If you are looking for a booze cruise, then this is for you. We were looking for a chill snorkel experience and this was not it. In the 3.5 hours on the boat, we only snorkeled for 30 minutes maximum. While you are on the boat, there is constantly music blaring like you are at a nightclub. If that is the vibe you are going for, then this would be tons of fun. For us, we were looking to snorkel more and enjoy being out in nature, and with the music and length of the snorkel time, this was not the experience for us.
Amazing service and experience , very attentive! Everything went amazing. If you get Erick was the best !!
Super fun trip. Cabo does not have world class snorkeling, but the staff, especially Eduardo (Eddie) made this trip fantastic for my friends and I. We will absolutely go again on our next visit.
Nowhere on ticket did it say to be AN HOUR AND A HALF early but this was apparently necessary for the cruise. The crew refused to let us on the boat even though it was still at port, and Viator refuses to give us a refund for a trip that we did not take.
Had a good time! Me and my friends went on this tour and had fun. Drinks were good, we had alot ! Danced a lot , yes there were kids but we had fun with them too. The tacos were delicious. I would say it all depends on who you come with or your peers and how fun they can be. Overall great, the STAFF was so FUNNN and Funny !
We received this snorkeling for free and it still was not worth it. It's a 3 hour boat ride for maybe 30 min in the water. We didn't see anything except 2 types of fish that they were baiting. I have been on 3 other snorkeling tours in Mexico and this was by far the worst. The lunch was okay, the guide was funny, but if you want to have a fun time actually snorkeling, this is not the place. The boat was crowded and you're only allowed to swim in a very small area.
Be transparent about the snorkel experience. if you're an experienced snorkeler, this cruise is not for you. Basically, after sailing for 45 minutes, we dropped anchor and single file we jumped off the back of the boat. You get a mask, no fins. Next, the hosts throw bits of tortilla into the water and fish come to eat them. With so many people, it's a chaotic experience. The sail home turns into a frat party/ booze cruise. This is fine -- if you’re in your early 20's. Date of experience: February 2023
Joseph was the best! He was so fine! His friends from Chicago loved him! Snorkeling was fun & he was the life of the boat! Made every feel comfortable. Shoutout to the entire crew! The tacos were the bomb! Love you all & thank you!
Joe was so much fun he had all the dance moves!! Music was a mixture and we had so much fun!!! Dancing drinks and fun fun fun!!
