Not exactly world class diving in cabo, but the shop was convenient, check in was easy, gear waa decent, short walk to boat, captin and dive master were great. Boat and snack was good. I went in with low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised I saw more than I expected. Thanks manta

Always a pleasure dive with Manta. Whales were plentiful on the way to the corridor. You can hear whales singing under water this time of year and we certainly did. Never seen whales under water but some divers reported that they did.

Had a really good experience diving with Manta, definitively do the 3 dives across the different sites so the guides can chose the best spots on the day. They were all great and we saw different species in each one including eagle rays, moray eels, even white tip sharks. Pepe was an excellent dive master, equipment was good and the whole trip was done by 1 pm as they move effienctly between each site. Would definitively recommend!

I have been diving since 1981. I am an open water instructor and that is why I always dive with Manta. Polo is the perfect dive master and able to guide, assist, encourage, teach and laugh with the divers. From reservation to the storage (or renting) of gear, it is a seamless experience. The shop is well located and appointed with all the gear you need. If you bring your own they will wash and store for the duration of your trip. The boats are spacious, well maintained with organized space for divers, gear and accessories. Snacks are provided and they usually include homemade burritos or such as that. The Captain’s are skilled and help all divers with gear as well as keep them safe during and after diving. My son lives in Cabo so I am fortunate enough to visit often… and I dive, dive, dive with Manta.

Worth every penny! Baptiste and Jonatan were so great and helpful. We saw sharks, rays, eels, lobsters, a turtle, and so many fun fish! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Baptist and Flash were great. The boat had plenty of room and was stocked with water, sandwiches, and cookies for in between dives. It was a step off style dive boat but was very easy. The guide Baptist was great.

Great experience with Baptiste and Capt. Flash! We did a half day dive, with three tanks. Lands end, blow hole, which was along the corridor, and then our third dive was it pelicans rock. Saw lots of great wildlife, including three massive bull sharks!

We really enjoyed the expertise and patience Baptist and the crew showed our family. We have a range of diving skills (and confidence) represented in our little group and Baptist took it in stride and showed everyone a great time. Would highly recommend!

Baptista and Jonathan were fantastic! Very knowledgeable and thorough, making for a fun, safe and enjoyable dive experience. Happy to have found Manta Scuba while doing a google search of dive charters while visiting Cabo. Staff could not have been nicer, set up is really convenient to the dock, and they take really good care in their customers. Kudos for a job well done. Shout out to our dive master Jesus who was very attentive and knew his local dive sites!

Had a great time with Paolo and Flash! They took good care of us, and showed us three good dives, found a seahorse, and got to follow a pod of False Killer Whale still dolphins. Had snacks, sandwiches and water for us. Loved the great day on and under the ocean!

Excellent weather and uncrowded boat. Best trip of many to Whales Head in the corridor. Martin is an excellent guide. Remember to stay very low when diving Land’s End.

Manta is a great dive shop! They have a very professional and kind staff, very nice boats, and quite good rental equipment (mostly Scubapro). They are also extremely responsive to emails. I did two technical diving courses with them—PADI Tec Sidemount and Tec 40. Baptiste was my instructor, and he was excellent. Both courses used XDeep’s Stealth Classic sidemount harness. The Tec 40 course especially was very demanding, but Baptiste is a very good and patient instructor and I learned a lot. If you are interested in technical dive training, especially in sidemount, I highly recommend training with Baptiste. He is exceptionally experienced, is cave trained, and has done thousands of dives. At the end of the tec dive courses, I also did a 3-tank dive with single tank back mount equipment just to relax. Baptiste was again my guide, and we had some nice dives at Land’s End and the corridor. We could hear whale song underwater, and there were wrasse cleaning stations with thousands of beautiful fish. Also saw two large stingrays. Some additional notes for the interested: - Cabo generally has sandy bottom with rock formations, many of which are covered in corals. There are tons of fish; it is like swimming in an aquarium. - We saw whales from the boat, maybe 25 feet off the bow. There are also many sea lions in January and some of them visited us while diving. - The water was reasonably warm in January, averaging 75 F. Being from the north, I was quite comfortable in a 5 mm wetsuit and neoprene boots with no gloves or hood. - The waves and the current were both very mild.

Wonderful dive trip. Polo the dive master was very professional and supportive throughout the 3 dives. Boat and equipment was excellent quality. We saw amazing sea life including manta rays and sea lions. I would definitely dive with Manta again when back in Cabo.

Excellent trip! Arrived and saw a lot of people and started to worry this would be over crowded. Then they divided into groups as they introduced you to your dive guide. Rental gear was great. They had several boats with small groups on the boat which was great!!! Our guide Costas was awesome! He helped get gear switched over, assist with proper weight and super easy going. I highly recommend this company and tour.

What an absolutely wonderful experience! We did two night dives & then a three tank dive. Each one was unique and special in its own way. We saw a couple white tip sharks, manta rays, moray eels, octopi, electric eel, & so many fish! On our night dives we saw bioluminescence - which was otherworldly! All the staff were so friendly & made the experience that much better. (Shout out to Costa, Jonathon, Eduardo, Flash, & the front desk staff.)

The service was greatc Bati was our guide and helped us all the day, with the equipment, snacks, and guiding us through the three dives!!! Great experience!! Recommended

I highly recommend Manta scuba diving when you visit Cabo. The check-in process was very easy, getting equipment took just a few minutes, and you walk a short distance to the boat. The boat itself is very spacious and plenty of room to get set up between dives. Angela was my dive master and she was excellent! She was very attentive on our dives, she spotted a ton of different sea life for us to check out, and she took care of everything on the boat in terms of getting tanks ready and changed them out, prepping masks, and even flushing my gear when we were all done. Our best dive was at Lands’ End point where we saw seals, sharks, eels, turtles, diving birds, and a ton of other sea life. There is easy parking right in front of their shop, which charges 17 pesos an hour. You won’t go wrong with diving with Monte and hopefully you get Angela as your dive master.

This was my first dive after certification in July. This group is outstanding. Very professional and all about safety that was a big plus for me since I was new. I started with the 3 tank dive with Eduardo and he was AWESOME. After the first tank dive he was there with pointers that made dives 2 and 3 much easier. Two days later I came back for dives 4 and 5 with Baptist and he was every bit as professional as the crew on the first day. If you are in Cabo you can't go wrong by choosing Manta.

Diving with Manta Cabo was a great experience. My SO earned her advanced open water and nitrox certification and worked well with her diving instructor (Kostas). I already had these certifications and focused on leisure diving. We did multiple days of dives at Pelican rock, land’s end, the corridor, and Cabo pulmo. The staff on our trips (Polo, Baptiste, Chuy, Kostas) were all very professional and did excellent in leading successful dives that witnessed schools of mobula rays, nudibranchs, octopus, eagle rays, and large schools of fish. We had a lot of fun getting to know them and being part of their dive groups. Overall I would highly recommend Manta for scuba divers! Prices and group sizes were reasonable, and above all the diving experiences were very very good.

I came to Cabo to complete my Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certifications, and I couldn’t have picked a better dive shop. From the very beginning, I was looking for a place that prioritized small class sizes and a more personalized experience—especially after a less-than-ideal OW certification elsewhere. This team delivered on every front. I started communicating with Becky months in advance, and she was incredibly helpful; promptly answering all my questions, coordinating dives for my husband while I did my course, and even sending calendar reminders. That level of professionalism set the tone before we even arrived. I was lucky to have Kostas as my instructor and even luckier to be the only student in my class. He was calm, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Even though he’s newer to Cabo, he already has a deep understanding of local marine life. He knew exactly where to look for megafauna and pointed out several rare species during our dives, which made the experience even more special. We dove Pelican Rock, Land’s End, and made the unforgettable trip to Cabo Pulmo, where Polo led our excursion. He made sure everything ran smoothly from park briefings to safety checks. During our surface interval, we got to meet some of his fisherman friends who were camping during triggerfish season, and after our dives, we enjoyed a delicious local lunch and even met one of the OG Cabo Pulmo dive shop owners. Everyone we interacted with including Chuy, Baptiste, the boat captains, and the rest of the team, were warm, professional, and clearly passionate about diving and marine life conservation. If you're considering diving in Cabo, whether it's for fun dives or training, don’t hesitate to book with this shop. I left with two new certifications, some amazing memories, and a newfound confidence and excitement for diving. 10/10 recommend!

Had an awesome time diving with Manta Scuba! The visibility wasn’t great the day we went out, but the crew did everything they could to make the experience fun and worthwhile. They were super friendly, organized, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe. Our dive guide went out of their way to find cool marine life and point things out we might have missed in the murkier water. Even with the conditions, it was a really memorable dive, and you can tell the team genuinely cares about giving guests the best experience possible. I’d definitely dive with Manta again next time we’re in Cabo!

Wonderful dive shop! Every person we interacted with was cheerful, caring, and upbeat. We were blessed to have Chuy (Jesus) as our guide on all dives, and enjoyed his leadership and company very much. He has fun stories and is very knowledgable about the dive sites in the area. He even made sure we got our full dive time when a small group was at somewhat uneven levels, so we got great value on every dive. The shop is safety conscious, including making us check and record nitrox mix on every tank, and labelling them so we were reminded of our mod on each dive. Don’t miss Cabo Pulmo! It was by far our favorite, though the corridor was also beautiful, and a playful sea lion made our last dive at the marine park noteworthy. Lunch at cabo pulmo was also lovely, and included in the price of the dive. Taco restaurant on a beachside deck with the dive group - so much fun! Fyi - the breakfast stop on the way there offered burritos made by multiple local families, making it a better experience than the bigger, more standardized coffee shops. Many options, very reasonable prices. Highly recommend manta divers in Cabo. They were even prompt and courteous processing our refund when the port got closed due to a big storm. Despite weather issues, we had a wonderful multi-day dive trip with Manta, and hope we run into Chuy again on another adventure! Would return to Manta for sure if we go back to Cabo.

We dove with Baptiste on the 3 tank dive plus we added a night dive with him later that evening. Manta was easy to book, accommodating and we loved our guide Baptiste. He was so knowledgeable about the locations and sea life. He also speaks several languages. Highly recommend booking with Manta.

We dove with Martin. He was professional, mellow, and fun. My 16 year old daughter and I (female) went and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The boat captain was fabulous. The dives were beautiful and varied.

I had an excellent two days of diving in Cabo. I dove one day with Baptist and one day with Paolo (sp?) as my guides. The water wasn't as clear as I would have liked it, but the boats were in good shape and the guides were very professional.

This was an amazing trip! Group was only 3 divers plus the guide and the boat captain. First tank we went to 120’! Saw sea turtles, sea lions, octopuses, sea rays, giant grouper, and thousands of fish. Visibility was about 40-50’. Beautiful diving along the cliffs. Surface intervals were spent admiring the natural bridge and the beach and beautiful tip of the Baja peninsula. Guide was pleasant and helpful and informative.

I booked a 3-day dive package with Manta Scuba Diving and the whole experience was super wonderful!! I dove the local marine park, the Corridor, and Cabo Pulmo. Saw some cool marine life in the local areas (puffer fishes, eels, guitarfish; whales and sea lions in the Marina), but Cabo Pulmo had even more (huuuuge groups of amberjacks, hognose rays, dolphins, many eels, etc.) and definitely worth the trip.  In terms of the diving operation and staff, all in all, it was a top-notch dive shop. My dive guides (Polo and Mer) were both super amazing people - kind and enthusiastic, and made me feel very safe. Special shout out to the front desk lady (I think it’s Emily? working March 22&24)! She was very welcoming and sweet.  I definitely recommend their service, and would not hesitate to book with Manta Scuba Diving again if I ever come back!!

This was a wonderful diving experience. Jonathon and Angela were an awesome captain/guide team. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. They took great care of all of us. The only downside was the ocean was a little murky, but that’s no one’s fault but the wind. The price wasn’t too bad, but the equipment rental should have been included. Most places I’ve gone to dive included the equipment.

Dive shop and crew were great. We had Baptist and Captain Salo. They were wonderful. It had been a few years since I had last dove, but Baptist did a great job assisting me in refreshing my skills. We got to dive 3 locations. My favorite one was the first one, Pelican Rock. There we got to see the most reef and sea life, including a shark and sea lions. Dive 2, Whale’s Head, we got to see different rays and reef as well as a sea turtle off in the distance. Dive 3, Lands End, we saw shipwrecks. On one dive we did hear whale calls but no luck in being able to see any. Dives were great. We did the private dive so it was only our party on the boat. We brought our own fins, booties, and masks. Manta provided everything else that we needed for a fee. Water was freezing! Manta and crew themselves get 5 stars. They are great. My only critique would be the dive order. Pelican Rock was the best dive and after having done all three dives, I would have done that one last. I’m not the expert though and the dive order was chosen for a reason. I’d definitely go diving with them again. I’d recommend them to other divers as well.

Excellent dive center. Professional and really hands on to manage tanks, bcds, regulators, etc. Nitrox assessment professionally done as well. They didn’t require us to lift a finger in transporting anything, including setup. We were also provided an abundance of sandwiches, snacks, and water bottles. Boat was excellent and not overburdened by tourists. Our dive guide, Angela, was on top of her game throughout as well. Gave us an excellent guided tour, notified us when she saw unique fish, rays, octopus. She was generous in knowledge and support throughout. Very pleased.

This dive shop is top-notch. Brandon and Jonathan (Primo) showed me the time of my life! I had a great day on the boat, a delicious lunch, and saw whales, octopus, rays of every sort, a shipwreck, and more fish than I can count. This is a magical place to dive and I couldn’t have asked for better guides. I will come back soon and request to dive with them specifically! They were friendly, safe, knowledgeable, and most of all fun. I can’t recommend this shop highly enough.

The staff were extremely helpful and professional and the diving was awesome! The dive sites were fairly close to the marina so we didn’t have to spend a lot of time traveling. We saw tons of marine life and the rock formations were impressive.

I will be forever grateful that we used manta as our guides to dive! They were informative, helpful and so very nice! Mercedes in particular was my diving instructor and she made me feel so safe and calm and made the whole experience extra exciting and peaceful! We saw sea lions under water, puffer fish and needle fish and many more! I would absolutely do it again with them in a heart beat

Manta is the best shop in Cabo. We have dove with them several times. Very organized and professional. Also a lot of fun. Great diving. Lori's, our guide this time, was very good.

Had a great time with our Dive instructor Loris. He was a knowledgeable guide to the area and ocean life we would encounter. Captain Salo was great at keeping us moving to the next Dive. We even got to see some whales. The people I met on the trip were excited and experienced to share the adventure. I highly recommend.

Great operation with friendly staff and wonderful Divemasters and crew. I signed up for the 3 tank dive and had such a fantastic time that I booked a 2nd day of diving with Manta. Both days of diving were with Divemaster Angela who authentically loves encounters with sea lions, large schools of fish, and other animals found while diving. She and the other DMs were energetic and ready to assist anyone in need.

Two dive days. Day 1, 2 tank dive. Dive day 2, 3 tank dive. Total 5 dives. Same DM. Baptise. Great company, perfect front office. Equipment in great condition. This is a Dive company not a dive booking center. Super lucky on day 2, surface interval the Orcas were feeding. The captain brought us out to watch live Orcas do their thing. A1 staff. Super pro. Small groups for diving.

I loved Manta Diving! From the booking process to the safety I felt in the dives, what a great shop! I’ve been diving with 3 other shops in Cabo, and after my 2 days with Manta, I’ll only dive with them in the future! Paulo was a great guide and we had a ton of fun with him!
