Pros: 2nd time using Manta, easy to find from cruise port (1st time the cruiseship was late, but Manta waited for me!) They communicated well and were very helpful and knowledgeable. Divemaster burned my mask for me and I had a FOG FREE dive for the first time!👍🏼 Cons: ?? Can't think of anything else. I highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Itinerary
During your dive, you will be amazed at the enormity of underwater sea cliffs. More than that, the sand falls at Pelican Rock will surprise you and the friendly sea lions will allow you to have some interaction. All of this will leave you wanting more.
You will encounter great conditions inside the protection of the Bay as there is rarely much current and the visibility is typically good. For those who don't enjoy long trips, the boat ride is a short one as the local sites are a only five to ten minutes away. The eastern side of the bay was declared a National Marine Park in 1973, one of the first in Mexico.
You will learn from your guide how the abundance marine life has grown over the years and you will be impressed at the healthy marine life system as you dive.
In between the dives, you will also be taken on a short sightseeing tour to visit Lover's Beach, The Arch, the sea lions colony and the Pacific. This is truly a wonderful experience for those divers who want to explore and discover the best of what the bay in Cabo San Lucas and the magnificent Pacific ocean have to offer.

Great diving. Everyone was knowledgeable, helpful and fun. Eduardo and Chewy are the best! My cruise ship was late arriving so I missed the first dive, but everyone went out of their way to accommodate and make sure I had the opportunity to do two dives. I’m new to scuba, but was looking n good hands the whole time!
Great people! Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Dive was beautiful! Highly recommend them.
I have been diving with Manta for more than 20 years. This trip I did a night dive at Land’s End, and a two tank dive with three other people. Our guide, Baptiste made every one feel comfortable and safe. Paolo managed the night dive similarly. All diving required no wet suit because the sea temperature was >85 even at 70 feet!
Outstanding Experience. Manta Dives offered the most experienced staff. Jesus was a pro he showed us all the under sea wonders of Cabo. I highly recommend this dive outfit.
Karla was phenomenal! Chui and our captain were fabulous! So helpful and made me feel calm and helped refresh my skills after many years off of diving. 10/10 recommend! Excellent time! We saw a giant school of fish, manta rays, turtles, eels and so much more.
The crew was fantastic, have been diving for 40 yeas, enjoyed the experience
I took the refresher course and the instructor/guide was excellent! She was very informative and the whole experience was outstanding!
Had a great time on my first ocean dive since getting certified! Carla was very patient with me and helped me feel confident every step of the way. The whole staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We saw tons of cool fish, turtles, manta rays and even sharks! Looking forward to diving here again.
We had an excellent time with this shop. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Our dives were great. We saw bull sharks and many different types of rays.
Palo was an amazing guide. Beautiful dive spots and they made it easy to have the best dives possible. Great little shop walking distance to the pier. Nice dive boat and the captain was a smooth sailer and very accommodating.
I did two dives with Manta Scuba. This was one of my favorite dives in a long time. Jose, our dive master was a pro! He was patient, informative, safe and a great guide. The captain was fantastic too because he spotted Orcas and Mantas and was able to get us so close we could touch them. I plan to return to Cabo again to dive and I will be choosing Manta as my go to tour operator.
Increíble!!! Wow what an experience, I went with Eduardo and Jonathan and couldn’t have had a better time Was fortunate to be able to do both the pelican bay and the second spot el arco near the rocks. The first time I’ve ever done anything like that and it was one of the best dives I’ve ever done and most memorable and unique Highly recommend this group and tour agency to anyone. Had a 11/10 trip and would go back!!!
Dove with Manta SCUBA on Friday morning 5/29/26. Carla was an awesome dive master: so helpful and kind. My wife had not been diving in 11 years and Carla helped her feel safe and capable. Capitan Jaime was great at pinpointing our drop off and pickup spots. The diving was gorgeous. Sea turtles, eels, sharks, mantas, huge schools of fish, and a cargo ship wreck off of Land’s End. Also got to sea the Arco at the tip of Baja, so it covers you for that excursion as well. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend Manta SCUBA and Carla and Jaime in particular.
We had an amazing 2-dive experience in Cabo with Kostas as our dive master. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The dives were full of marine life — we saw huge school of Mobula Rays, puffer fish, a sea turtle, and even lobsters hiding among the rocks. Everything was very well organized, and we never felt rushed. One thing we especially appreciated was that they made sure we had plenty of time to return to our cruise ship without any stress. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend diving with Kostas to anyone visiting Cabo!
My son and I hadn’t been Scuba Diving in 18 & 20 years. We did a refresher course with Instr Jesus and then did a 2 tank dive with him & Miro (DM). The divers were amazing!!!!
I went with my two girls 12 and 13 and we lucked out because it wasn’t busy and we had the boat to ourselves. The captain Jimmy and our dive masters Baptiste and Miro were most attentive and took great care of us. It was a most enjoyable experience.
We tendered in from our cruise ship and walked 3 minutes to Manta scuba diving. Couldn’t be any easier! Baptiste was a great dive master. We saw so many fish! We also dived two wrecks.
Awesome experience diving at El Arco in front of Lover’s beach and again around Land’s End, or “Finisterra” to a wreck before ending on backside of El Arco. Baptiste dive master was very nice and patient and provided lots of local experience. Lis was so helpful with reservation and planning before arriving. Highly recommend for your next dive adventure. John G from Houston.
Excellent experience….dive master knew where to look
Manta Dive shop is totally professional and well run. My second trip with them and I’ll definitely go back! DM Kevin was great - professional and knowledgeable and a well rounded diver.
Fantastic! Baptist was our guide and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend! Be sure to have 100 pesos for parking. You can’t exit with USD
I couldn’t speak more highly of the experience I had diving with Manta! I had three days of diving. Two dives a day. My guides were Costa, Baptiste and Eduardo. They were all absolutely fantastic guides and really warm and friendly. Great personalities! Shoutout to Captain Jonathan and the other Captains. Such great guys! I will definitely return to Manta Scuba Diving.
We dove with Kosta and he was a great guide, showing us around the reefs and the shipwreck. He prioritized everyone’s safety while also pointing out hard-to-see animals like moray eels and camouflaged rays. This was a great experience overall with Manta and we would highly recommend!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company, Martin (our dive master), and Flash the captain. Martin was such a great teacher/instructor and was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He made this experience wonderful! If you ever get a chance to go diving in Cabo San Lucas, book with Manta Scuba Diving and ask for Martin!!! 💗 Megan and Thao
I took a cruise to Cabo and was very nervous to get off the ship and to the shop in time. The crew at Manta weee very accommodating and assured me I would be fine. The shop is a short distance from the cruise ship so it was easy to find. I was accustomed to warm water diving so Eduardo, my DM, asked me before we shoved off if I wanted to rent a thicker wet suit. I would have froze in the 3mm I brought! The captain saw our first dive site was crowded so we skipped ahead to the second. We had 2 peaceful dives and I saw lots of new wildlife. Afterwards we rinsed our gear at the shop and they let mine hang while I got lunch and a massage. Highly recommend!
The whole experience was phenomenal from start to finish. Prompt, informative, safe, friendly, and FUN! Costa was the BEST dive master and it was an experience that I’ll never forget. I hope to come back one day!
Eduardo was both friendly and professional. Good equipment and great dive boats. Great dive at Pelican rock thanks for the fun time.
We did a two tank dive and on the second dive our dive master had a tank malfunction and ran out of air. He had to buddy breath until we could get to the surface. This was quite an adventure, but it was handled calmly and professionally. This is the first time in over 20 years of diving we had an incident. This was definitely a dive to remember.
I had an excellent scuba diving session with Martin. Very professional, Security on top. He perfectly knows the spots (Pelican Rock, North Wall). We had a good vision on undersea life (Amazing number of fishes, Sea lion, seabirds diving -15m to get fishes, whales, langoust...). We were a small group. That was perfect
Good beginner dive. Really good dive company. The dive location is for beginners. Granted way too many people; boats bumping into each other and we did not see anything really cool.
My wife and I went on our first certified dive and Eduardo our dive master took care of us from start to finish. He was extremely experienced, patient, and knowledgeable. Captain Jonathan helped take care of us in the boat and even spotted 3 whales on the trip to dive #2. I would definitely book it Manta Cabo and request Eduardo and captain Jonathan again.
Excellent day! Communication was wonderful in planning our dive as well as Pre gearing up and such that is done in the shop. Both Johnathan and Gabo were wonderful too share the day with on the boat and during the dive. We have used other dive operators in Capo in the past, but our next trip we will utilize Manta again.
Just went out with Manta for Scuba Diving in the Marine Park and Land's End in Cabo San Lucas. The team was great, especially my instructor Costa, who made sure to point out all of the interesting animals and make sure the dive was a memorable one. Our captain, Salo, was great and had snacks and waters ready to go, right when we got back to the boat. Coolest sights were the largest lobster I have ever seen and being surrounded by a school of Mantas. My partner was able to join for the trip and snorkel at one of the sights. Price was reasonable at $180 for 2 tanks and all equipment (not included: extra cost for my wife to snorkel). The trip out lasted approximately 4 hours.
We came in on a cruise ship, and the dive team made sure we were given time to arrive via the Tenders, and get paperwork completed before we headed out! They also made sure to verify when our cruise ship was departing so that we wouldn't be late returning! Kosta (Dive Master) and Jonathon (Captain) took us to 2 excellent locations where we got to see tons of amazing wildlife. We got to see a sea turtle from a distance, a sea lion, several eels, a lobster, a couple of white tip reef sharks, a school of cow nosed rays in the distance, and tons of butterfly fish, angelfish, and more. It was an incredible experience and it was obvious that Kosta knew right where to find many of these animals. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much Kosta for an incredible underwater adventure, and Jonathan for keeping us safe from above the water.
Angela! You made my day. Thank-you for giving such a safe, enjoyable experience after 25 years of not diving. You’re the best.
I did 5 days dive with Manta, and they were all fun and amazing. I saw a lot of fishes and the best, quite a few bull sharks at Pulmo. Great shoutout to Alvado, Martin, Cuey, Polo, Cabo and Baptis for being my guide and taking care of me during the dives. Not to mention all the help desk ladies who were very helpful and showing great hospitality. Totally recommend Manta Scuba Diving!!
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Makes every level of diver feel engaged and supported. Saw a huge eagle ray and some cave diving. Super fun!
We dove at Pelican Rock and Land’s End, and both sites were lovely. Plenty of marine life and incredible visibility. Our dive masters, Baptist and Eduardo, were professional, patient, and fun to dive with. The office staff and captain were equally welcoming and organized, making everything smooth from start to finish. Manta runs a top-notch operation, and I wouldn’t hesitate to dive with them again next time I’m in Los Cabos!
Eduardo was an excellent guide and dive master. He gave a great tour and pointed out lots of interesting marine life on the dive. We loved diving Pelican Rock and Lands End. Thank you for a great experience!
Eduardo was an amazing and fun guide. The diving was great, show pas nice, and boat was HUGE! woukd definately dive with MANTA again!
Fantastic service and great fun diving for a week with Manta in Cabo. Full recommendation for their guides and captains and office staff.
I am a certified diver but not a lot of experience. Paolo was great at figuring out how much weight I needed and how much assistance I needed to pull things off safely’ I lost my husband temporarily and panicked and he was great at assisting us and helping me be strong for the next dive. I will always dive with an experienced diver. Being certified is really it enough Paolo was amazing. If not for him we wouldn’t have been able to do the second dive. They also had very good choices for locations. I can tell they were good at assessing what was the best for our experience:
Went diving today with Captain Jonathan and guide Angela. It was my 53rd dive and I’ve been with many dive shops in many countries. I was lucky that I was the only diver with Angela today, but I have to say her and Jonathan were THE BEST! Angela pointed out many things I would have never noticed. 2 fish about the same size and same species trying to eat each other, or kissing? 2 Octopus getting it on. A sea lion that swam by, multiple Murray eels. They took lots of care and made sure all my gear was ready to go. Highly recommend this shop and these 2. Can’t give enough stars! I never buy dive shop t-shirts, but I did this time. I’ll be diving more with them for sure.
Manta Scuba can be your trusted sources for diving in Cabo. My 17 year old son and I used them last year at this same time and didn’t hesitate to call when we were returning this year. The booking was as simple as contacting them by email and telling them what dates we wanted to dive. Although we brought most of our own equipment they have a great selection of well kept gear if you need. They have several dive boats and all are well maintained and have experienced captains. Our guide, Jesus, was professional and safety minded, but kept things fun and interesting. Dives were well explained and had solid planning based on currents and weather conditions. We did two days of two tank dives and although we had been to these sights the previous year we still had different experiences. The fish are plentiful and the underwater landscape is diverse. In the corridor multiple corals are abundant and there are quite varied species of marine life. If you’re lucky you’ll see Manta Rays, sharks, and octopus. I highly recommend Manta Scuba if you’re diving in Cabo San Lucas!
We had an incredible experience diving with Manta Scuba! Martin was a fantastic dive master guiding us along the way. Such incredibly vibrant marine life! Some highlights included seeing a seahorse, octopus and baby octopus, manta rays, a reef shark, eagle rays, and sea turtles. The staff at manta are all ultimate professionals, and we had the best time! All the dives were great, and we highly recommend going on a night dive too!
Angela was our guide for both snorkeling at pelican rock and a two tank refresher scuba the following day. Angela was an amazing teacher as well as guide. I was open water certified two years ago and the way she explained things in the refresher I have to say I feel more confident with my knowledge in assembling the equipment than I ever felt previously. She did a really good job of noting when one of us wasn’t grasping a concept and making sure we got it. Underwater she showed us amazing marine life and was extremely attentive to any struggles we might be having/ skills we could improve on. I cannot say enough good things about her competence in the water and as a teacher and guide. HOWEVER I have some very mixed feelings about the dive experience overall. Our first dive was at pelican rock and while it was murky with some current it was a reasonable difficulty for a refresher and went perfectly smoothly. The second dive was at lands end and things got very bad very quickly under the surface. We were planning to fight some LIGHT current by crab walking along the bottom then do a drift dive. However as soon as we hit the bottom the currents became dangerously strong. We were all clinging to sand and getting dragged by current toward the drop off. At one point I was in the front of the group and got dragged so fast I had to cling to my husbands ankle at the back of the group to not get sucked out to sea away from the group. Both of my fins got SUCKED OFF OF MY FEET by current and the situation became very dicey very quick. Angela, our guide, literally saved my life. She tucked me under her arm and released the flag for the boat to pick us up as we ascended. However, at some point in this chaos my husband got separated from the group and had to emergency ascend by himself. Meanwhile we were getting battered by current on the ascent. I felt like i was running on a treadmill underwater at full speed while breathing through a hose. I am a runner and this was the most insane cardio i have ever felt. One hundred percent lost control of my breath. I went through 2400 out of 3000 PSI of oxygen in a 16 minute dive. We were dizzy and short of breath for hours after this. My throat is still raw and dry from screaming underwater and gulping oxygen like it was very very scary and I am very grateful for the competence of the team on board that day. I know the current conditions change very quickly and the dive master said she had not seen a current like that before but that kind of current at 60 feet of depth is in my opinion insane for anything less than extremely experienced divers. I don’t know if we just dove the site on a bad day and it really wasn’t possible to predict this but I do not think this site was appropriate or safe at all for a refresher dive. The team handled things amazingly and I have zero complaints there but I think those just getting back into diving or trying it for the first time should know the situation before going to this site.
I had an amazing dive experience with Manta! I was the only diver that day, so it was basically a private dive, wow! The dive master, Martin, and the captain, Jimmy, made me feel so safe and well cared for, I could just enjoy our dives and not worry about anything. I am open water certified with about 30 dives, including at least 10 in 2025, but do have a hard time with my ears at times, and Martin was very attentive to this. We saw so many amazing marine animals, including a white tipped reef shark, a moray eel that was bigger than the shark, a huge diamond ray, many guitar sharks, and my new favorite creature to see while diving - cormorants under the water! Overall, it was a great morning diving with them and I can't wait to come back!
I try to scuba dive in every coastal city I visit. This trip is to Cabo San Lucas. Through Trip Advisor, I found MANTA. The booking process was easy. Not too hard to find the location. Quick check in. Merceds was the dive master. She got me all suited up and, along with 4 other divers, we walked 2 minutes to the marina where the small boat awaited our departure. The first dive was at Pelican Rock, only a 5 minute boat ride away. Even though it wasn’t far from shore, the sights were plentiful. We sawmore than 30 species of fish including several types of angels,, Morey eels, a school of Mobula sting rays, and hundreds of my favorite fish, porcupine puffers. We got back in the boat after 30 minutes and headed to our second dive location. On the way, we saw Mobulas flying out of the water. So amazing to see. The second dive was just as spectacular. More eels, puffers and a white tip reef shark taking a nap. Mercedes was an excellent guide and Jonathan, an excellent boat captain. I highly recommend MANTA for your scuba trips in Cabos San Lucas.
This is a great dive site. Despite all of the boat traffic around Pelican Rock and Land's End, the diving is still uncrowded. Angela is an awesome dive master who has chosen to work here. She has worked other dive shops around the world, but loves Cabo. And it shows in her work. She was excited to tell me about what we might see and what to look out for. She has a "pet" trigger fish that greets her on ever dive! We saw a school (herd?) of bull nosed rays, probably over 100, just gliding overhead, many eels, guitarfish, and a sea lion playing off Land's End! The boat captain, Flash, was very helpful with gear and kept us safe from the other boats while we were diving. Overall, I would give Angela and Flash six or seven starts, but I can't.
