I LOVE THIS PLACE! It really does feel like a home. The design, quality , and staff make this place feel truly magical. This was my 2nd time coming here. I celebrated my birthday here 1 year ago. It was a family trip and we all felt very welcomed. The place is so beautiful and tranquil. What truly brought me back for a 2nd time was the service. Javier, Maite, Valeria , and Misael made us feel truly at home. Yes, they provided amazing customer service but in a way that makes it feel more like family. I felt like I was visiting family and my aunt/uncle wanted me to keep eating and feel comfortable. It did not feel transactional but I felt the kindness from each and everyone of them. Everything we needed /wanted they made it happen. Before we would ask , they were already bringing it. For example, after dinner we normally stay around to talk as a family , and Javier brought out these delicious drinks called carajillos. It was such a treat to be able to enjoy each other's company and enjoy such a delicious cocktail none of us have ever tried before. The first time i stayed here , i missed the breakfast timeframe however, Javier somehow made sure to send my favorite dish "chilaquiles". We normally do not like resorts as we feel it tends to be too americanized , for example , salsas not being spicy however, Zoetry has a great balance. Their mexican food is delicious and they will handcraft a salsa to your spicy level of desire. The cocktails were amazing! Every single mezcalita , paloma , margarita, pina colada , cosmo , martini , michelada , and carajillos were well balanced. You can taste the alcohol in a good way ;) , not watered down, not too sweet but JUST PERFECT. The views of ocean from our room were breathtaking! Room service was fast ! The rooms were always cleaned well , so much attention to detail; for example , Francisca would organize my charger cords. Our room always smelled good. They left me a birthday cupcake in my room. My husband sent me flowers which were so beautifully put together. I am looking forward to our next trip back home to Zoetry

Everyone was very attentive. When they say “you can request anything” they mean it . The food was delicious!! The cocktails were perfect , very balanced and strong ; you can taste the fact they are great mixologist. this is a wonderful place to bring your family or just give yourself some time to refresh . It’s not the typical party resort, it’s clam and serene ; perfect getaway ! The rooms were spectacular , they included a mezcal bottle , champagne bottle and in room snacks . Ohh one of the bar has a cute little library . I had the pleasure of reading and enjoying a tasty cocktail. Will be coming back !
If you're looking for a incredibly quiet peaceful relaxing all inclusive resort - this is definitely for you. If you're looking for activities and interesting things to do on site while you're on vacation - this probably isn't your place. There are a few activities present via the Hyatt Inclusive app, but it is limited. While we personally loved the solitude of the property, we experienced some problems with our room and service. Fernando at the front desk was super friendly and helpful - he did his best to help try and fix some of the things we experienced during our stay. Rooms: We had an oceanfront in the Villa Del Mar building. Gorgeous views. The beach really was amazing. However, it was not recommended for swimming because of strong waves and current. That didn't bother us, though. Rarely saw a single person on the beach and it was very quiet and peaceful. Mattress was super comfortable. Would have preferred a sofa in the room as the chaise is really only for one person. The shower was a problem; the showerhead leaked badly and created a large pool of water in front of the shower as the door wouldn't close properly. They did fix the shower head but not the door during our stay. The free room snacks and drinks aren't really on par with a "spa and wellness" brand - candy bars, Pringles chips, and soda are off brand in my opinion. Service: service was spotty. Room service orders were either later than scheduled or the orders were not entirely accurate. We also experienced issues with scheduled housekeeping and turn down service - they never showed up until we reached out and asked for a status. Restaurant service was inconsistent - wrong food orders or substantial time to receive orders. The food itself was fairly good; some options felt limited but we still enjoyed them. Overall I would return but hopefully next time our experience will improve.
We loved Zoetry! This is an extremely relaxing place and I think it's truly unique for a few reasons: - This is NOT a party hotel. There's no music at the pool and it's quiet by 8-9pm. - It's a very small hotel. Only around ~60 rooms. Due to this, the staff/guest ratio is literally 1:1 (at least). This ensures you're well taken care of and staff often remember you by name - and many of the guests. Special thanks to Avraham, Fabian, Marcos, Karim, Jacobo (and more)! They really make you feel at home and are eager to help. They felt like friends. - Due to the small size of the hotel, we never had problems getting pool chairs, never waited in line for restaurants or drinks, etc. Food was excellent. I'm genuinely confused by anyone complaining about the food. We came with moderate expectations considering it's an all inclusive, and were still blown away by the quality. Every meal is sit down (or poolside) and the tacos, ceviche, shrimp, steak, etc all were great. The all day cafe was perfect for snacks and coffee. Overall: This isn't the place if you want to party all night, eat quick buffet food, listen to loud music, or see loud shows every night. However if you're looking for a niche, quiet, relaxing trip with great food and service, this is the spot!
We visited this resort in January 2026 while scouting options for our wedding guests, and it is truly stunning. The grounds and rooms are absolutely beautiful. We had a suite with a plunge pool that we used multiple times and loved. It’s about 40 minutes from the airport, making it a convenient location. This is definitely a quieter, more relaxed resort. It’s small (only about 70 rooms) and doesn’t offer a ton of activities or entertainment, which makes it perfect for a honeymoon-style getaway. We had a great experience dining at Saltwater, our server Javier was fantastic, and dinner by the ocean was unforgettable. The pizza was surprisingly amazing! If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful resort with incredible views and a slower pace, this is a great option.
