Very clean rooms with excellent view!! Pools were also clean, and fun games by activity team. Drinks were great; specifically enjoyed the Curacao Coral. Delicious crispy bacon on the breakfast buffet. Pepe’s was perfect for lunch. Second time staying here. Highly recommend.

RIU Palace Baja California ( Adults Only) was PHENOMENAL! From Champagne 🍾 greetings during the Check-In Process, to a great clean room with oversized amenities such as a fully stocked mini fridge, four different spirits in the room bar, and a walk in shower and free-standing bathtub, to the 6 Dinner restaurant options from steak to Dim Sum serving great quality ingredients and first class service. The Gyms throughout the property gave us the opportunity to workout in a different facility daily. The 24hr lounge with snacks, the Cappuccino coffee corner, the pool kitchen and bars, the fruit cart, the bar cart, and the Ultra Chic Pools, our vacation was outstanding. THE POOL ATMOSPHERE WAS THE BEST as they FitCrew do a great job of engaging guests and bringing the fun to the pool… and there as a quiet pool too!!! Our stay included access to the other 2 hotel properties giving us more than plenty to explore without having to leave the premises. The nightlife was Fun and had great production value including the ABBA show, the Mexican Dance Show, and the Burlesque Show. We also loved the White Party and the foam!!! The free shuttle from and to the airport made the whole experience hassle free. Thank you RIU 🫶🏝️🤗
I loved absolutely everything about Riu Baja California! It offers a truly upscale all inclusive experience. The rooms are amazing, the service is top notch, and the food is consistently good across the board. If you are trying to figure out where to eat, the steakhouse dinner is definitely worth it hands down the best meal I had. I tried most of the restaurants on-site, and while everything was good, the Italian was my least favorite, so I'd recommend prioritizing the steakhouse instead. One of the biggest standouts for me was the nightlife. Unlike a lot of other hotels in the area that shut down early and feel completely dead at night, this place still has so much life after dark. They even have a club not too far of a walk, and the drinks are noticeably higher quality and more premium than a standard all inclusive. It is definitely worth paying the extra price for the upgraded experience. I highly recommend it and will absolutely be back! Also try getting in the ocean currents a bit strong but be safe keep distance from the water and you can enjoy the Ocean water at least on your feet
Horrible hotel, there was no activities. Besides the "riu parties" which was filled by 16-19 year olds. Baja had 0 entertainment, all they had was music at night and maybe a show which was no interaction but just watching. Food was a little below average. Especially the asian restaurant unless your the type who loves sesame chicken, these super sweet asian food, you'll love it. The buffet has the SAME FOOD EVERYDAY FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH, staying here 5 days I'm sick of these food. The buffet was average size, but any of the food just was the same. Maybe like 9 stations, but salad, fruit, dessert, bread, bread already took 5 stations, and there was 3 stations just had the same food. Did I mention dessert was HORRIBLE? LIKE HOW CAN PEOPLE MAKE DESSERT THAT BAD? HYGIENE: there were flies ALL OVER IN THE BUFFET. I saw flies stopping on the food EVERYDAY. They did a horrible job on this. And the pepe stand near the pool, that food just for flies, not humans. Big poop was everywhere, there was alot of signs on "DO NOT FOOD THE CATS." But there was ALOT ALOT ALOT OF CATS that were REALLY SKINNY. REALLY REALLY SKINNY, which was heart broken to see, these cats were like 2 months to 5 months max. And I saw these small small cats already pregant again. The pigeons were able to "eat pepe fries" but cats starve. WELL DONE Room was cleaned not well. I have a billion more to say, but max words is 1500. Really disappointing. I left a 2/5 because atleast I came back alive.
It was me and my husband's third year anniversary and we loved it. The room was outstanding with the separate bathtub. The food was good at all the restaurants. I loved the swimbar and the drinks. The atmosphere was very good and entertaining. Just wish the Riu Parties were spreaded out within the resorts. I will definitely go back because it was an awesome vacation.
