Ulises the bartender was absolutely amazing! He made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and was genuinely one of the sweetest bartenders we’ve met. He was so kind, attentive, and made our experience that much more special. His warm personality and excellent service did not go unnoticed. We’re so grateful we got to meet him and would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting! Thank you, Ulises, for making us feel so welcomed and taken care of!

Our stay at Pueblo Bonito was just okay. Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. We paid for a partial ocean view room, but upon arrival, we were given a room with no ocean view at all and two beds. We had to dispute the room assignment to get the partial ocean view we originally paid for. Having an ocean view is important to us, which is exactly why we booked and paid for it in the first place. Another major disappointment was the pool chair situation. Guests were coming down as early as 5 AM to place towels on pool chairs to reserve them, then going back to their rooms to sleep, get ready, and eat breakfast before finally returning around 11 AM or noon. We're not talking about a handful of chairs. Nearly 90% of the chairs were being claimed this way! I'm an early bird and enjoy spending my mornings by the pool, so it was incredibly frustrating to see almost every chair taken by towels with hardly anyone actually using them. Unfortunately, the staff allowed this to happen and did not enforce the rules. This is something management really needs to address. The food was another big disappointment. In my opinion, the food was pretty terrible, especially considering this is an all-inclusive resort. The quality and overall dining experience could definitely use improvement. On the positive side, the drinks were wonderful! They offered premium beer, tequila, liquor, and mixed drinks, which we really enjoyed. The resort also had great beach access, which was another highlight of our stay. I also want to give credit where it's due. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Our disappointment was not with the employees but rather with some of the resort's policies, management, and overall experience. Overall, Pueblo Bonito has some great qualities, but between the room situation, disappointing food, and lack of enforcement of pool chair rules, our stay fell short of expectations. For the price of an all-inclusive vacation, I expected a much better experience.
One of the absolute best perks about Pueblo Bonito Sunset is how close you are to the beach. You can easily step right out into the clear water of the Pacific Ocean and then walk straight back to jump into the hotel pool all while enjoying top-notch customer service, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. As a great bonus, free parking is available for visitors staying at any of the Pueblo Bonito properties. During our stay, we were lucky enough to catch their live Mariachi night, which featured wonderful singing and dancing. The buffet was another huge highlight, offering a fantastic variety of authentic guisados (stews) alongside an impressive selection of 20 different desserts! We truly enjoyed every part of our visit at this hotel and can't wait to return.
Angel and Enrique made our entire week so special! They took care of us at breakfast and lunch throughout our stay, and every meal was a delight. Traveling with a four-month-old baby and my older parents, we really appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating they were. They made sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed, always treating us like family. On our last day, they found out it was my birthday and surprised me with a cake and sang “Happy Birthday.” It was such a sweet, unexpected gesture that made me feel truly special! Angel and Enrique, thank you for your kindness, your amazing service, and for making our family feel so welcome. You were such a memorable part of our vacation! ❤️
Very disappointing experience — not a 5-star resort Our stay at Pueblo Bonito Rosé was extremely disappointing and fell far below what we expected from a resort claiming five-star status. The biggest issues were the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and overall lack of attention to guests. We experienced long waits at restaurants, including a 1.5-hour wait for dinner because most dining options were either closed or fully reserved, leaving Pacifica as our only choice. Even after being seated, the service was very poor. The wait staff did not check on us during dinner and only came to ask about drinks after we had already finished eating. The room quality was also unacceptable. We found roaches in the bathroom, stained bed sheets, and the air conditioning was not cooling properly. These are basic standards that should never be an issue at a resort presenting itself as a luxury property. The only thing that made our stay tolerable was having access to the other Pueblo Bonito properties. The difference in service at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach was significant — the staff, hospitality, and overall experience there were much better and showed what this resort brand is capable of providing. Having experienced other all-inclusive resorts, we were very disappointed with the level of service, dining experience, cleanliness, and overall hospitality at Pueblo Bonito Rosé. The experience did not align with the standards we would expect from a resort promoting itself as a luxury property. Unfortunately, we would never return to Pueblo Bonito Rosé and cannot recommend it to others. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.
