First Thank you GEO!!!! The Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is a beautiful property. The rooms are somewhat dated the location if you’re in a shared transfer is a little bit far but what they lack in room and distance they make up for and absolutely phenomenal food and Service Geo, the young man that worked, the pool cabana was phenomenal, went above and beyond. I believe he had rollerskates on that young man moved with proficiency and remembered everybody’s order. He was phenomenal the Italian restaurant. The steak was delicious if you’re looking for flavorful food good drinks, phenomenal ocean views Hyatt Ziva is the place for you.

Great location, service, and food, but the buildings need some love We had a wonderful stay overall at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. The location is beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was great throughout our trip. It's a very family friendly resort with lots of activities for kids, and the pools are fantastic. Our family really enjoyed spending time there. The main downside is that the buildings feel a bit dated. We had issues with the A/C in Building 1, and after one day the staff moved us to Building 3, which we appreciated. We also noticed the crew doing repairs all day long, so it seems they're aware maintenance is needed. I hope they invest in updating the buildings, because everything else about this resort is great. With some renovations, it would easily be a five star experience.
We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. The resort is kept spotless, service is fast, and the staff consistently works hard with positive attitudes, respect, and kindness. Special recognition to the team members who made our stay so great: Humberto and Alfonso (Concierge): Humberto kindly explained the story behind the first-floor cow sculptures when we asked, and Alfonso brought great energy and warmth. Axel (Bellhop): Excellent arrival and departure support. Ruby (Coffee Shop): Served morning coffee and treats with genuine love and care every single visit. Eric (Entertainment): Brought great energy and kept everyone entertained with his cool tricks. Margarita (La Plaza): Incredibly sweet, gentle, and attentive service. Santiago (Pizza & Wings): Super chill, friendly, and efficient. Our server at the steakhouse: Kept dinner lively and memorable with his fun firecracker whistling. And last, but very certainly not least: Giselle from Entertainment. She literally made our whole trip. She is pure gold—her warmth, joy, and connection with guests meant so much that we almost shed tears having to say goodbye. The entire staff is phenomenal, but Giselle is truly unforgettable. Highly recommended.
We had a great stay at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos overall. The food was definitely one of the highlights of the resort, with a good variety of options. I didn’t get a chance to try everything, but the steakhouse, Indian restaurant, and Asian restaurant were all very good. The poolside food options were also surprisingly good. The food trucks and tents serving Baja fish tacos and regular tacos were a favorite, and the snack area with pizza, burgers, and other quick options was great as well. The burgers in particular were AMAZING! The service was pretty typical of what you’d expect at an all-inclusive resort. Nothing particularly bad, but also not necessarily exceptional across the board. One thing I would definitely warn people about when booking: pay close attention to the room category. The deluxe rooms are the renovated rooms, while the regular rooms are not renovated. I don’t think this is made especially clear during the booking process, so make sure you understand exactly which room category you’re paying for if having a renovated room is important to you. The beach itself is really nice, but it was pretty choppy when we visited, so swimming in the ocean wasn’t really possible during our stay. That obviously can vary depending on the conditions, though. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid all-inclusive resort with a great selection of food, a nice beach, and plenty of options around the pools. I’d definitely recommend it, just be careful when choosing your room category so you know whether you’re getting a renovated room.
We stayed at Hyatt Ziva for 4 days, and it was such a happy and wonderful experience. When we arrived, Alfonso helped us with check-in, and we were so grateful for how kind and thoughtful he was. He understood exactly what we needed and made everything very easy and comfortable for us. Our concierge, Adrian, took care of everything we needed from the beginning to the end of our stay. Thanks to his attentive help and perfect arrangements, we were able to enjoy our vacation without any inconvenience at all. He continued to look after us with such care until the day we left. The hotel facilities were very clean and well organized, which we really appreciated. We also traveled with our young grandchildren, and we loved that the hotel atmosphere and all the facilities were very family-friendly. One small downside was that the rooms located in shaded areas felt quite humid because of the moisture. It would be even better if there were a better ventilation system to help reduce the humidity. We are so thankful to both Adrian and Alfonso for making our stay so special. If anyone plans to visit Los Cabos, we will definitely recommend Hyatt Ziva, and we will absolutely come back to Hyatt Ziva ourselves!
