My wife and I set out to find the ultimate inclusive resort in Cabo for our anniversary and we took a chance on Grand Vela's but it takes the Cake! The pools are beautiful with a Sea view, the most Incredible Staff, suites have a Butler Service, with Impeccable grounds. All of it tied into phenomenal top tier bars and restaurants like SenLin, Autor, Koi Bar, and Velas10. If you plan to relax every moment of every day by the pool with a few activities sprinkled around this is your happy place. We look forward to returning in the future. Happiness achieved!

I couldn't say enough positive things about this resort. The staff was amazing and goes above and beyond to try and make sure you have a five star vacation. I have found in the past that all inclusive resorts often fall short in the food department, this however in not the case here as the food was amazing. Plenty of things to keep the children occupied while having great things for adults. Highly recommended for your next vacation!
Recently completed our family vacation. Bummed to have spent so much money on 4 nights at this resort. We had high expectations for this 5 star resort but we were disappointed. When we arrived to the resort our room wasn’t ready for another 1.5 hrs even though we requested early check in. While checking in the worker was very rude she just said “passports and credit card”. After that we waited around with our baby til the room was ready. When we got to our room nothing that we had requested was there. We requested strawberries, wine, crib, kids tent etc. They apologized but didn’t bring it until the night. Housekeeping and some servers were really nice but everyone else on staff seemed bothered or in a bad mood so we hardly requested anything. On our second day 2 staff members came into the room saying they needed to work on the balcony. This was in the middle of us getting ready. When we checked for them to leave they were just hanging out talking out on our balcony. Our assigned conceirge was not very helpful. She always said to let her know if we needed anything but she took long to get back to us so we would just book things ourselves for the most part. Pool food and food from azul is the same everyday and mediocre. Cafe drinks were actually horrible, they offer matcha that we looked forward to and it was not drinkable. Room service food is pretty bad as well but typical for room service I guess. Dinner was good at sen lin and velas 10. Wife got a massage on the last day. The spa is beautiful but the massage was scary. She asked for less pressure throughout the massage because she just felt man handled throughout the service and had a migraine the rest of the day. Of course views are beautiful but for more than $1,500/night we expected better quality food and service. Not to mention we would choose somewhere with a swimmable beach next time. I truly don’t see how this place is a 5 star unfortunately.
I have had an incredible stay at this hotel in Los Cabos, it never disappoints. From the first moment the treatment was excellent, all the staff super friendly and attentive, always with a smile and willing to help in whatever you need. The facilities are very well maintained, the food varied and of good quality, and the cleanliness impeccable. I love restaurants. I especially want to highlight the entertainment team, which makes the experience even better. There are always fun activities during the day and shows at night. Especially Mari, who is charming, very professional and transmits incredible energy and joy. Thanks to her I felt very comfortable and I have enjoyed it a lot. ♥️🙌
Incredible experience at Grand Velas Los Cabos. We visited for our first extended family vacation with our 15-month-old, and it truly delivered on every front. The concierge, Josue, was incredibly accommodating, and the staff throughout the resort were clearly experienced at hosting families with young children — flexible with ad hoc requests and attentive even when our little guy was being fussy. Our dinner at Frida was a particular standout: the restaurant manager went above and beyond, offering to bring our son pizza from the neighboring restaurant if nothing on the menu suited him. The Kids Club was another highlight. Our little one was too young to be dropped off independently, but we were able to drop in to play and burn some energy before nap time. Every staff member we encountered, including the babysitters, was warm and wonderful with the kids. We didn't use the babysitting services this trip, but based on the quality of care I observed, I'd feel completely comfortable doing so next time (or leaving him at the Kids Club once he's a bit older). The spa was also amazing — another genuine highlight of the trip. My only small note: dinner restaurants don't open until 6 pm, which meant our son was getting fussy and sleepy toward the end of meals. A minor logistical challenge for families with very young kids, but hardly a dealbreaker. Overall, this was definitely a special-occasion splurge — but one where the value genuinely lived up to the price.
