⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.8/5 — We would absolutely come back! We had such a wonderful stay at Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes. One of the things we loved most was actually the location. Being away from downtown Cabo made the resort feel incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We visited during the off-season, so it was especially quiet and felt like we had so much of the property to ourselves. We stayed in an absolutely beautiful four-bedroom suite with a huge private balcony and our own rooftop pool. It was the perfect setup for our group and really made the trip feel special. The service was another highlight. A HUGE shout-out to Daniela at Concierge! She was amazing throughout our stay. We had several excursions planned and weather to work around, and she was incredibly proactive about helping us coordinate everything. She made recommendations, rearranged appointments when needed, and helped us plan around the expected weather so we could get the most out of our trip. Having someone who was actually paying attention to our plans instead of simply booking things for us made such a difference. We also have to recognize Jorge and Juan with the bell staff, as well as Julia and Arceneo at the Sports Bar. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. And speaking of the Sports Bar—the pizza is SO good! We enjoyed all of the food at the resort, but one of our favorite experiences was after our fishing excursion. The chef at Anica prepared the fish we caught that day for us, including sashimi, and it was AMAZING. Such a fun and memorable way to end the day. My mom and I also did the Bliss Spa package, which I would absolutely recommend. It was the perfect addition to an already relaxing vacation. There are a few things worth knowing before you visit. Because the resort is farther from downtown Cabo, you'll need transportation for most excursions leaving from town. We loved the peace and quiet enough that the trade-off was worth it, but taxis back and forth can add up quickly. We pre-booked our airport transportation with Eliker, and they were fantastic. Carlos was our driver and took great care of us. The resort is also still being built out to its full potential, so there was a fair amount of construction happening while we were there. It honestly didn't bother us much, but it's something guests should be aware of. Our only real complaints with the room were that the water pressure wasn't great, and one evening we experienced a pretty terrible sewer smell. That said, we contacted the staff about the smell and they responded immediately and worked to address it, which we really appreciated. Overall, Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes was beautiful, peaceful and exactly the kind of relaxing Cabo vacation we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I'd probably do differently next time is choose the all-inclusive package so we could completely relax without thinking about the food and drink budget throughout the week. Thank you to Daniela, Jorge, Juan, Julia, Arceneo and the rest of the Grand Solmar team for helping make our trip so memorable. ❤️🌴🇲🇽

If you're looking for a beautiful, secluded escape away from the crowds and Cabo's party scene, this is the perfect place. Located about 30 minutes north of Cabo San Lucas on the Pacific side of Baja, it's a peaceful retreat with an incredible atmosphere. The resort is very family-friendly, featuring two waterslides, a rope swing, kids wading pool and a saltwater lagoon that kids (and adults!) can enjoy. The beach is quiet and uncrowded, making it perfect for relaxing. While the ocean is beautiful, swimming isn't recommended due to the strong rip currents along the shoreline. I also want to add that they provide a golf cart to get around if you don't feel like walking from your unit to the pool or restaurants. The next phase of the resort is currently under construction, but it didn't take away from our experience. The property remains peaceful, and the construction was minimal and not disruptive. We always look forward to coming back to soak in the relaxing vibes, and we can't wait for the lazy river to be completed. A special thank you to our representative, Melissa. She keeps us updated on the property's progress, answers all of our questions with patience, and always makes us feel welcomed like family. She is truly a beautiful person, and her genuine kindness and exceptional service make every visit even more memorable. I also want to mention Gabriella, Melissa's boss ans the two work great together and always seem to find an answer to anything thay may arise.
Ok, so this is a tough review. The property is amazing, rooms are absolutely amazing, pools amazing, staff amazing, sports bar amazing, pool activities people amazing, housekeeping staff amazing. Shuttle into town to visit sister property was nice, driver is amazing. Did not eat at their restaurants (super expensive, they wanted to charge $25 per person to cook the fish that we caught). Regular menu items range from $40-100 USD. The not so amazing, the location is in the middle of no-man’s land (desert and sand dunes). The wind never stops blowing. Pools and hot tubs close at 8pm not so amazing. Yes, there is ongoing construction and probably will be for the next 10yrs, but didn’t really affect our stay. It’s chilly at night bring a jacket or hoodie.
Very far out.... We enjoyed the golf, but the timeshare sell was a bit much. Hooked us with the golf. Still pricey at $225 per person. Course is beautiful. Sells team is nice, it's just NO MEANS NO. We got sent to 3 or 4 different sells people and we even told the sells team, we here to play golf. We liked the property, but NO respect of our time. 3 hours of trying to sell. VIP Breakfast is like motel 6 continental breakfast. Comfort stations on course offer snacks and drinks. It was great day of golf, but property on the middle of nowhere.
The property is excellent—everything is clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I really have no complaints at all. If you plan to spend a day at the pool, they offer plenty of activities that are great for families. The only downside is beach access, which isn’t ideal and can be a bit dangerous. You’ll need to take a shuttle or drive to the marina, which takes about 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. On the plus side, the restaurants are very good, and the food exceeded expectations. At Anika, I paid around $200 USD for a party of three, including tip.
