Bad things: The balcony in our apartment faced east and forget about your morning coffee without sun protection. Some will be bothered by the noise from the waves that are randomly hitting the rocks below. The hotel is on a slope and all the paths inside the complex are up and down. I recommend renting a car or you will have to call an uber if you want to explore the area. Very few surrounding beaches for swimming. Lots of repairs during our stay. Our suite had a sofa bed in the living room that was broken and it took them two days to replace (after unsuccessful attempts to fix it). The mirror in one bathroom almost fell off and was quickly fixed. The toaster only heated one side of the bread (not repaired or replaced). The sink in the bathroom was clogged but it was fixed quickly. Good things: Beautiful view of the ocean. The steep paths are covered by small cars (like golf carts) that are driven free of charge by very friendly hotel workers (phone call). Room maintenance staff very tidy, quiet and friendly (they regularly put my daughter's teddy bear sitting in the middle of the bed🤩). In general, all the staff are friendly. The four pools are very clean and the water in them is warm. The general impression is positive.

Grateful to have enjoyed this dreamy oceanfront resort. I want to go back down again soon. There is no need to leave the resort after you check in. I received excellent customer service & good vibes. The Private Beach is so beautiful. Get your steps in. I loved winding down the cliff trail to go be chill at the quiet beach. Bring water down there & be safe during high tides.
Our stay is disappointing from the very beginning. I booked through RCI and arrived excited for a relaxing trip, but this property immediately falls far below even basic expectations. The entire place feels stuck in another decade. Everything is outdated and worn down. The furniture is tired, the couch is dirty, the microwave is greasy, and the cookware looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in ages. Nothing about the space feels comfortable, cared for, or maintained with any pride. Dining is another major letdown. Service is slow, inattentive, and disengaged. Not once does anyone check in to see if we need anything. It feels like guests are an afterthought. Service across the property is equally frustrating. We were told we’ll get a call when our room was ready—no one ever called. We requested a ride through the front desk—no one ever showed up. What stands out most is the complete lack of accountability. Every issue is met with indifference, and no one seems willing to take ownership or offer solutions. Accessibility is also a serious concern. If you have mobility challenges, this property is simply not equipped to support you. The only redeeming elements are the beautiful views but they are nowhere near enough to balance out the overall experience. We just checked in and already can’t wait to leave. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. If you’re searching for a true resort experience, this is not it!
You generally can not swim in Cabo because it's too dangerous. That said, the facility is beautiful, well maintained, and spotless. The view is excellent. The pools are clean, well kept, and never overcrowded, which makes them enuinely enjoyable. The wifi is excellent and reliable throughout the property. The weak point is the food. Breakfast at $25 was fine but nothing special. Lunch looked appealing but didn’t deliver on taste. The ceviche came in a red sauce and was disappointing, and sometimes even basics like guacamole and pico de gallo were below standard. For a place operating at this level, the food needs serious improvement.
