We had such a fantastic day trip to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle! Our tour guide, Steve, was fantastic—he shared so much history and fun facts that we don’t usually get from audio tours. Plus, his sense of humor made the bus ride a blast. Our driver, Ricky, was also super friendly and courteous. We highly recommend this tour (Tour 13)!

This was an amazing experience in one of the best castles we have visited in Britain. This is a must due for anyone in the London area.
The tour was excellent, and the tour guide was one of the best we have ever had in decades of travel. The only problem was that we paid for the the tour that included lunch at a pub back in London, and they didn't drive us to the pub, although it was on a major road. Instead, we had to walk the pub. Normally that wouldn't be such a great imposition, but I am 78, and we had walked all morning in Windsor.
Our guide James was amazing. Very interesting and kept us laughing.
We enjoyed our day with James and Haydar! So friendly and knowledgeable about all the cities and stops.
James was great! Thank you so much! 5/5
The trip was well organized, consistently on time with each stop, with a warm and friendly tour guide and driver throughout the day. Both displayed an “ all questions are welcome” attitude!!! I loved all the tidbits of history Tom shared throughout the trip- the information made each stop more meaningful and fun. I also really enjoyed getting out of London for the day and seeing some landscape and English villages and hamlets - thanks to Tom I also now know the difference between a hamlet and a village! No need to search further my traveling friends- this is the tour for you for relaxation, excellent historical information and a truly enjoyable day Thank you both Tom and Christian!
James was a super guide. He made the trip fun! Thanks to Christian for his outstanding driving.
Our tour guide, zozo was very knowledgeable and engaging. He spent much time telling us lots of background information about Stone Hendge and Windsor castle during the bus trip. He was well organized, communicated clearly and humorous!! The bus driver Ibrahim was a careful and friendly driver. I’ve visited Europe 5 times and this was the best tour
James was our guide and Florian was our driver. Both were awesome! We first went to Windsor castle but it’s closed on Tuesdays so we didn’t get in . Lovely town and we got to see everyone dressed up in their best with hats on! Very cool. Then we went to Lacock which was also a nice place and had lunch there at the oldest pub. Florian was so kind and walked me to the pub so I would t get lost looking for it since I didn’t want to go with the rest of the tour. The best and absolute most wonderful part was going to Bath. So very lovely! Please keep in mind that this is a lot of walking so probably not the best for people with mobility issues although they did a great job accommodating everyone. Really great tour and wonderful tour guides
We did a tour with James and Floren and had an awesome experience! James was funny and very informative. Great tour to check out a lot of UK highlights. I recommend taking a tour with them!
The tour went so smoothly. Tour Director Andrew was very knowledgeable and engaging. He told many amusing and unusual facts about the places we passed by. He gave us pointers on what was important to see and as well as the schedule of the changing of the guards.
Nicholas was the absolute best tour guide. Knowledgeable , funny and so friendly !
Rowan our tour guide and Carlos the bus driver are both great. We have a nice lively energetic , and educational tour of the Windsor castle, Stone Henge the Bath and we had our late lunch at the Lackock. A beautiful town where some scenes Harry Potter with the locals were filmed. The best tour guide! Keep it up Rowan👏🥰
Very good experience, with excellent tour guide for all three places we visited. Good food provided, coach drive very good.
We did the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge,Bath and pub lunch at Lacock . James and Carlos were fantastic. James was very knowledgeable and informative. Long day but worth it.
We had a great day with Tom & Florian. Educational and fun. The stops were all great!
An absolute wonderful day!! We are so glad we booked this tour!
We had Cristian as our driver, and Tom as our guide. Both were great, but Tom was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining. We did the Windsor Castle, Baths, and Stonehenge with no lunch tour. Saw a lot but wished we had a bit more time at Windsor Castle and Bath. Otherwise, it was great!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience on this bus tour! Steve was an outstanding guide — friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and made the entire trip so enjoyable from start to finish. He shared so many interesting facts and kept everyone engaged the whole time. Our driver Haydar was also fantastic — professional, safe, and incredibly courteous throughout the tour. We always felt comfortable and well taken care of. The combination of a great guide and an excellent driver made this tour truly memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and well-organized experience!
This is a great day trip tour from London. Gives you just enough of a taste at each site along the way. The lunch in Lacock is really a special touch. Steve was a very knowledgeable guide with great stories (and jokes) and Haydar was a great driver. Would highly recommend this tour.
Long day but totally worth it! Steve was a highly knowledgeable tour guide and Haydar was a great driver. Perfect amount of time at each stop for a sample of each location. Food at the pub in Lacock was very good. We took this tour 10 years ago on our homeymoon and there was an accident on the motor way which caused a significant delay for the stops. This time we really got to truly enjoy each stop and we would highly recommend.
We were promised that a representative of Premium Tours would meet us at 1pm by the clock in Windsor bus park for our return to London. No one showed and I texted Premium with no response. I then called at 1:30 and was informed the driver was at the bus park and he did not get the message to meet us at the clock. No partial refund was offered for the Premium Tours failure to perform as promised. I certainly will not trust them with any future business.
Windsor castle itself is worth the trup but I suggest booking through an alternative provider. The pickup location is not ideal and staff gave conflicting information. Out pickup was an hour late and the driver proceeded to make excuses when he arrived.
Steve was super fun and informative. He ensured we had time at each location and have amazing info to go along with each stop. Windsor Castle time was a bit tight but, we did get to see the changing of the guards. Stonehenge was quick but also felt like enough. Lunch was good. Than Bath was certainly not what I expected. The information shared on each place helped make the day full. Flori was an awesome driver, especially in those areas with super small streets! Thanks for helping us learn so much, see so much and have a stress free day!
They were quick paced and informative. Lots of stories to add to the historical parts and made remembering facts easier. Lunch was quick and planned out to the T. No waiting and food was amazing. A quick run I was able to take in the cloisters of the Abby in Lacock! Amazing historian and driver! Thank you Steve for the added musical highlights. Loved the singing. Cheers
Very interesting tour to Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath with several highlights. Steve is a very experienced tour guide who knows every detail.
Best tour I have ever been on. Steve is who you really want to go with. Haydar was a great driver. We went to Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath. Steve was incredible, answered all questions, even sang to a rousing ovation. He made the trip. Though we didn’t have much time in each place, it was enough to want to come back for more. Steve even talked about a rock tour that you have and I want to bring my adult children over for this tour and the rock tour. If you can only do one tour - do this one.
What fun! James (guide) and George (driver) gave us a great experience and great ride. James was terrific in giving us the history and highlights on Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath. The pub Lacock was delicious and quick.
James was very informative and humorous. He was very clear about where to meet and what to see! Robert our driver was very skilled and kept us safe!
James was very knowledgeable and fun to be with.
Tour 79 with Steve and Haydar. Windsor Stonehenge lacock and Bath. Absolutely the best tour ever. Steve is so knowledgeable. I love history and I felt like I was in class. You need to take this tour. Been on tours everywhere and this was just so informative. Steve answered every question and even sang for us! Thanks
Very nice tour to Windsor castle and Stonehendge
Our driver was Christian and our guide was James. They were superb and very professional.
We went to Windsor castle, Stonehenge,Bath, and lacock. It was a great experience and we saw so much history. Our tour guides were James and Christian, and they were great. Full of information and very funny. They were very kind and helpful. We had a great time
Our guides made everything and everyone feel like they were being treated like royalty.
Frank was awesome and also lead a guided tour through Westminster Abby, didn’t see that option. He is a national treasure, very knowledgeable and pleasant. One of the best tour guides we’ve had in London
Great excursions if you want a real taste of English towns and history. Our guide Zozo was very interesting and informative. He was full of great facts and information. He gets an A+ in history!
The sites were incredible. Andrew and Christian took incredible care of us and gave us tips to ensure we had the best experience.
So glad we chose this tour! We visited Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, had lunch in Lacock, and explored Bath — such a perfect itinerary in one day. Our tour guide James explained everything clearly and made the experience really enjoyable. Big thanks to our driver Carlos as well — smooth and comfortable ride throughout the day. Lunch around 3pm in Lacock was delicious, and every stop had shops where you could grab food and drinks, which was super convenient. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see multiple iconic spots in a well-organized
Our driver Carlos and our guide James were excellent! James is a wealth of knowledge. We loved all the sites! Lunch was great also.
James and Carlos were the masters of the tour. Carlos was the driver and was like a time traveler. James is funny, knowledgeable and a gentleman. Great day trip!
Great tour and bus was excellent
We did Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, lunch at Lacock and Bath. Steve was an amazing tour guide and did well at explaining what we should look for and making it a very informative tour . Of course we wouldn’t have made it without Ricardo getting us there!
Rowan and jermain are the best! Guide that really loves her job and always know all the answers and bank of facts you could not imagine. Great vibes!
Christian - bus drive - i felt safe with him driving Zozo - tour guide lots of side information, good sense of humor BOTH WERE AMAZING
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We saw things we weren’t expecting to see, Zozo was a great tour guide very knowledgeable.
Very inspiring tour, beautiful sightseeings, no delays. Great staff. The host Steve is very pleasant and funny and knows a lot about British royal dinasties. I really recommend this tour.
We went on a tour to Windsor Castle with Premium Tours today. I hadn’t originally planned to go, as I’m traveling with my 5-year-old and Windsor was a bit out of the way. But last night, he told me he’d really love to see Windsor—he remembered seeing it on a school paper and was excited to go. So around 10pm, I started researching. It seemed that Windsor Castle only accepts pre-booked tickets, and the earliest available entry was for 12pm. There weren’t many other options. Around 1am, I booked a tour with Premium Tours that departed at 7:45am and returned around 1pm, for approximately £190 for the two of us. I also moved our train to the Lake District from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Then I began packing while my son was sleeping. I was so exhausted that I had to stop around 3am—completely half-conscious. I got up again at 6:30am, finished packing, dressed my son while he was still asleep, and checked out of our hotel, London Marriott County Hall. The front desk had already noted my early checkout request when I spoke with them around 2am, and by the time we were downstairs, the cab was already waiting. We left at 7:31am. The hotel is about a 10-minute ride to Victoria Coach Station. While en route, I called Premium Tours and let them know we might be a couple of minutes late—we’d arrive before 7:45 but might need time to locate the coach. A woman answered and said the coach usually leaves right at 7:45, but she would call them to hold for up to 5 minutes. We arrived at Victoria Coach Station at 7:43. The driver told me Gate 19 was on the opposite side of the station, and kindly offered to wait a few minutes in case the tour had already left. I called the office again and was told to push through the station. When we got to Gate 19 at 7:49, they told me the coach had already departed. I said it was okay—I’d just go back to my cab. But the station staff insisted I wasn’t on their tour and that I had to stay while they called the office. Eventually, someone said, “Oh, this is a late booking,” and then told me there was nothing they could do. I immediately rushed back to the front with my child—only to see our cab driving away at the intersection. It took me 20 minutes to find another one. We finally got back on the road at 8:14am. I called the office again and asked to speak with the tour guide. They said, “Absolutely not—it’s their private phone number.” I was told to go to Windsor Coach Park and wait under the clock. Around 9am, I called to check in. I explained I had two large suitcases. The same woman told me, “Don’t worry about the suitcases, just go straight to the group entrance and find Richard, your guide.” She sent me a location where I should find him. When we got there, a staff member at the castle said it wasn’t the group entrance—we had to go around. We did, and eventually found the group entrance with dozens of tours waiting. Richard was about 20 feet from the location I was originally given. I approached him, explained that I had two large suitcases and a boy waiting in the cab, and asked how I could locate the coach to drop off our luggage. He told me to bring the luggage over. I ran back, and fortunately, the driver was willing to circle around. He unloaded the bags, helped my son out, and removed the car seat. Then Richard told me there was no way he could handle my luggage and that I needed to have the driver bring it back to the coach park and wait under the clock. I offered to stay right there at the group entrance with my luggage, and asked if he could hail a cab to take the luggage to the coach—I’d be happy to cover the fee. He refused, saying he had a whole group to manage and that I needed to follow his instructions. I asked if I could go to the coach myself and load the luggage—he said there was “absolutely no way” I could do that. By this point, I had a pounding headache. A kind woman from the tour helped me move the luggage back to the cab. We drove again to the coach park. The clock was on the opposite side of the lot. I dragged the luggage across the park while holding my 5-year-old’s hand. While we were waiting, the office called and told me to go find the coach and meet Richard at the entrance. I said I was physically and mentally unable to memorize a coach number—something they should have given me many phone calls ago. I told them this was the worst tour I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve traveled a large part of Europe. The woman’s tone immediately changed, and she said she’d ask Richard to find us. When Richard found us, he questioned why I had so much luggage, why I didn’t leave it at the hotel, and why I was late. I told him I was not in the mood to discuss these things. We finally entered Windsor Castle at 10:25am. That was my experience with Premium Tours for the past 3 hours. They should never have promised a 5-minute delay without confirming it with the driver. They should have told me to stay in the cab instead of pushing through the station. Their station staff should not have held me up just to call the office and give me no help, which caused me to miss the waiting cab. They could have provided the tour guide’s contact or at least the coach number or license plate when I was en route. Richard could have hailed a cab to transport my luggage. If even one of these things had happened, my day could have turned out very differently. Their arrogance, indifference, poor communication, constant contradictory instructions, and complete lack of compassion are shocking—especially for a hospitality business. In all my decades of traveling across Europe, this was hands down the worst tour I’ve ever been on. I strongly urge others to avoid Premium Tours. This was a truly terrible experience that has forever changed how I view what it means to serve customers. I have met many wonderful people on this trip—but this experience soured my 5-year-old’s first visit to England.
very good tour, meeting point was easy to find, we took the bus to windsor castle, we got there close to 9 am, we stood in line, it was a long line but once the castle open at 9:30, the line moved very fast , inside it was a self guided tour with headphone, the castle is amazing including the state apartments and the St George Church, also observed the changing of guard ,also we had some extra time to have lunch and walk around, we were picked up by the bus at 1 PM back to london, the castle is amazing and worth the visit We did only the windsor castle (did not do the Bath or the stonehedge or any upgrade), the tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable and gave us good information on the way to the castle, but once inside the castle were on our own, I think for travelers who only wants to visit the castle, they could have done the trip on their own if they can figure out the transportation and buying tickets in advance
