Booked two tours with Top Tasting Tours. The first one (Kensington) was cancelled at the last minute, and the second one, West End Secrets was not great. The guide was OK but seemed more interested in indulging his own interests than actually providing the tour as described. For example, the second sweet treat was just handed to us with no information and just 'I have to go to my 6 o clock tour now'.

Itinerary
The first shopping arcade in England built in 1819.
Laid out in the 19th Century this is the heart of London Life
Your journey begins in the lively surrounds of Carnaby Street, the historic epicenter of London’s fashion and music revolutions. As you dive into the mysterious back alleys of Soho with your guide.
Next, transition into the vibrant energy of Chinatown. Your local expert will reveal the best shortcuts through the neighbourhood and share insider-only tips on where to find the best dumpling houses and noodle bars—the perfect roadmap for returning later on your own.
As you weave toward Seven Dials, keep your eyes peeled for the magic. Explore the atmospheric courts that served as the real-world inspiration for Diagon Alley and point out iconic Harry Potter filming locations hidden in plain sight.
Finally, emerge into the historic buzz of Covent Garden. While the crowds stick to the main piazza, your guide will show you the shortcuts and stories that define this area’s transition from a quirky market to a global cultural hub.

Absolutely great knowledge of all the areas we visited. He gave us much more information than anticipated; from movies, theatre, music & art. Extremely polite & friendly but will make you chuckle throughout the journey. 5 stars
Lovely way to spend the afternoon. Guide’s knowledge of history, music, etc was fantastic, but was expecting more food orientated/tasting. Loved the chocolate tasting but were rushed and couldn’t purchase. Learnt lots on the way. Group size was ok. Thank goodness we had perfect weather.
Our guide John was amazing and very nice with a lot of knowledge. His tour was really detailed and well explained. We had a really nice time and learned a lot about this part and the history behind it. 💚
We did the west end walking tour and I was so tired that my wife had to drag me to go. I am so glad that I did! Ryan was amazing and his knowledge of the areas and secrets were so thrilling to learn. He is in the acting industry and all of his knowledge about the areas we visited left me wanting to know more. What a cool guy and honestly someone that I could go have a drink with and talk to for days.
Ryan our tour guide was extremely friendly and informative. He guided us through the back streets of Soho that we never would have found ourselves. The complimentary chocolates and chinese pastries were a nice surprise at the end. I would highly recommend this tour
Thanks Ryan. Nice informations.
The tour unveiled the stories of the streets. The guide is passionate and the whole atmosphere of the tour was really nice ❤️
It was Great ! The tour was really interesting, learned a lot of things
Booked through London Go City and thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Natalie! She was very knowledgable and adjusted her tour content based on the interests of the participants. We were a family of 5 with two grandparents and two kids aged 10 and 8, and she kept everyone's attention and interest throughout the 2.5 hour walking tour.
It was just great. Ryan did a great job and told us so many interesting stories and insights.
Ryan did a great job, the tour was really interesting and entertaining. We have really enjoyed this tour.
It was very interesting and the tour guide, Ryan, was really sympathetic. I’d always do that tour again!
Nataly was very nice and fun guide to visit parts of London
It was so funny time. The guide is a good boy
Natalie, our guide, was brilliant. So friendly and knowledgeable, very approachable and engaged everyone in the tour. We had a great time and covered a lot of ground. Many thanks Natalie!
We had a wonderful afternoon today in London on the “West End Unlocked Tour: Shortcuts, Secrets & Sweet Treats (Soho – Chinatown – Covent Garden)” with our lovely guides, Barbara and John. The tour was both informative and entertaining—we learned so many fascinating facts and hidden stories about the area that we would have never discovered on our own. Barbara and John made everything come alive with their knowledge, humor, and warm personalities. The two included snacks were absolutely delicious and a perfect addition to the experience. It felt like a great mix of sightseeing, storytelling, and tasting. All in all, it was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore London from a unique and insightful perspective!
I was delighted with the guide and the crowd we were with. We saw all the important west end sights and had plenty of time to explore on our own.
A very exciting tour with a great guide. Ryan knows many interesting facts and stories about the area and is a very likable guy. We would recommend this tour with Ryan to anyone!
Ryan guided us through Soho and Covent Garden, sharing many little stories that brought the neighborhood to life - now we also know where the name comes from (an old hunting call) and how Oasis financed their album covers... everything was great! As a conclusion, there was a pastry from Mister Bun Pastry: From the outside, very famous :-).
Interesting neighborhoods that deserve a return visit.
We got to the right point and we were looking for the guide but there was no one to identify as such. We asked the boy inside the gallery and he turned us around trying to find the meeting point of the address. Very badly marked and we were hoping to find a person with a little flag or something to identify him. We're out of experience.
I found the tour very good and entertaining.
Really great guide by and with Ryan! You immediately notice that he is not just some tour guide, but lives in the neighborhood. Beautiful stories that I'm sure we'll tell you a few stories about. Thanks, Ryan for the 3 hours together!
