This is the most convenient way to get into the Tower before the crowds. Be. Was a great guide. Highly recommend.

An amazing tour guide who thoroughly enjoyed sharing his knowledge of The Tower and the Tower Bridge. Our guide provided so much history in a very interesting way. We had a small group and it was well worth the cost.
Our guide John was fantastic!!! He was super-nice and very knowledgeable!! We had only 3 people on our tour making it very intimate and quite interesting. John had almonds tucked into his backpack and he let me feed the squirrels. I highly recommend the early entry. We were able to travel back and forth through the Crown Jewels multiple times as there were only about 10 other people in the room. We also did the Tower Bridge and John was able to quickly secure our tickets so our wait time was minimal.
Great guide - cheerful & informative. Generally an interesting tour, Crown Jewels were particularly interesting. Not the tour guide’s fault but the Tower needs to employ more staff on the coffee cart - too long to wait when in a touring schedule.
Leon led us on a wonderful tour, he was loaded with information and personal charm. He was excellent and we loved every minute.
Our guide Leon did an amazing job. Just be warned this tour is on a tight schedule. You have to be at certain places at certain times so if you’re late you could be left behind. Tower of London is very big and you will not see the whole thing on this tour but you will see the highlight's. We would highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Small group tour so we all had a chance to chat with the guide and ask questions. It was a great experience.
John was very entertaining and full of knowledge and shared it so elegantly.. I immediately liked him when he pulled out a little capped container for food for the squirrels and ravens.....He presented tons of facts and stories so the day was full of new knowledge! I highly recommend John.
Ben was very knowledgeable and entertaining! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour
I liked the guide. I enjoyed the opening ceremony. My problem was the length of the visit. We had 45 minutes in White Tower and anything else we wanted to go through on our own. And when we were done with the tour we couldn't get back into the Tower without paying another entrance fee. There were more things I wanted to see.
Our guide Clive was amazing. Funny and knowledgeable. As usual a lot of standing and walking. The pouring rain dampened our spirits. But all in all very enjoyable.
If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, book this tour. Our guide Leon was a remarkable communicator who effortlessly enlightened us as we saw the key sites of the Tower of London while avoiding most of the crowds. It was also a treat to meet a Beefeater Yeoman and see the opening ceremony less than 20 feet away, ahead of the general public. Leon answered all our questions and gave a personal touch and perspective so that we didn’t just hear names and dates. Hats off to Leon. Also, it was nice to have priority access to Tower Bridge where the views are spectacular. Don’t let the price tag deter you… it was worth every penny.
John was our guide and did a great job. Learned tons. Would recommend.
Don was a wonderful guide. Well versed and knowledgeable he explained everything with detail. The meeting point was given on the ticket map. However, not being from London, you can be a little intimidated not knowing any location spot.
It is so much fun! Miranda was such a great storyteller! We could have spent all day listening to her stories…and she answered all our questions. The tour was very informative - and getting to know the beefeaters and then seeing the Crown Jewels with no line was so worth it.
Educational and fun. Warren did an excellent job including showing us pictures of what to look for. Now I am typing to reach a minimum word count.
John was great! He was very knowledgeable and gave great pointers about hire to spend our time. It wads great to have the early access to see the opening ceremonies. Overall great experience!
John was outstanding, fully prepared, shared many back stories and made the experience fun & informative. Highly recommend
John, our guide, was tremendous. Very knowledgeable, kept us in the right place at the right time, and made managing the large crowds with humor and ease.
This was a tremendous experience. Our guide provided the history behind what we’re looking at, and going in before the huge crush of visitors made seeing the opening of the gate, looking at the crown jewels, so much more enjoyable. While this was not an inexpensive tour to buy, we viewed it as a once in a lifetime experience and enjoyed every second of it. It is almost a 4 1/2 hour excursion and worth every second.
This tour was spectacular! Warren was extremely knowledgeable and easy to interact with. The headsets were a super plus to the experience. The history speaks for itself, but being able to have a translator like Warren to deliver it is a bonus. Was more than I thought it would be and the best part of our time in London.
Warren was a great and engaging guide! He was invested in making sure my daughter felt included with the adults and he is very funny!
Don was terrific, with a great radio voice. So much history, but in an easy pace to retain. Definitely recommend early priority access with this guide. We finished seeing the Crown Jewels just as the ‘unwashed of London’ (haha) were lining up to queue.
Our guide was fantastic. Kept the tour moving but allowed plenty of time so see all exhibits. It was well worth the extra to book the earliest tour to see the guards opening the gates and to skip every queue!
John was the guide and was very knowledgeable and thorough. Right from the start we was engaging and inciteful. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
We took a 17 day trip to Europe, that included 8 cities and 4 countries, and this tour ended up being our favorite experience of the entire trip. Miranda was a fabulous guide, and getting into the Tower of London early to watch the opening keys ceremony and tour the crown jewels before the public was absolutely worth the price. After your time at Tower of London, you also get access to Tower Bridge to end your time on the tour. Highly recommend this tour, the history and setting is life changing.
Excellent guide. Best going early in morning as was not crowded. Have good guide about what to see so you could choose effort level. Guide leaves you on bridge. Worth going to bridge shop
showing up early was great. The guide was informative, and very good. gave us options of what to see depending on our interest. it was definitely worth going to the Tower bridge shop.
Very expensive for what you get but very informative! The Tower has so much history and Don provided us with some good stories about the famous ones. Other groups meet up for the pre opening so it isn’t as exclusive as I thought. You would get to meet a Beefeater anyway once inside. Much time was spent counting the group at each stop. The meeting point is a distance from the Tower so be prepared for a lot a walking.
Our tour guide was very engaging even for my 9 year old. He was very knowledgeable and funny. It was great to chat with a Yoeman and skip the lines before doors open! I highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful tour of opening ceremony and inside the tower. Finished with great tour of tower bridge. Recommend it highly!
John is a very knowledgeable guide and made the experience very enjoyable. We learned a lot about the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Great tour of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. We met with a Yeoman Warder and watched the ceremony to open the Tower for the day. And we were admitted to see the Crown Jewels before the crowd was admitted. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable and funny. I would highly recommend this tour with him.
This is an absolute must do tour! Warren was our guide and he was full of so much information and history. He made the experience really special!
Leon was an amazing tour guide. He went out of his way to set expectations and tell us what was going to happen, when, where, and how. Lots of walking and steps. Be prepared and this is not the tour for people who have difficulties with steps. Leon knew his stuff and had answers for all the questions directed his way. He was awesome and made the experience that much better. It’s quite expensive but was worth the money. The only complaint I had is that you did not have much time to roam around the Tower grounds and were herded off to the bridge by the designated time. I would have preferred the option to stay at the ToL to explore all things but I understand. Part of the excursion is the bridge and glass bottom walking part, and you have a specific time for that. What we did get to do and see was amazing and I am just nitpicking. Leon rocks!
Great time at Tower of London; with this particular VIP option, you skip pretty much all the lines to the main sections (Royal Family jewels, etc). I wish it could last more time, but, after this experience, next coming you can just buy regular ticket and then concentrate on what interests you; also, our tour guide (John, from Ireland) was not only very knowledgeable, providing great factoids and unknown history stories, but also very funny!
It was good to have early access to see the opening ceremony Crown Jewels before all the crowd arrived. While our guide was very knowledgeable, the fact that he had a friend with him to whom he chatted a lot was off putting. He also had a quiet voice & with a tickly cough, he was hard to hear at times.
Lots of walking. Like lots of walking. Our guide was great. We seen a lot. But it was a tiring day. Interesting.
Excellent tour of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge! The VIP early entry was worth every penny to get you ahead of the line and see the opening key ceremony. That also gets you first in line for the Crown Jewels which was wonderful! Leon, our guide, was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor. He leaves you to discover the Tower Bridge at the end on your own at your own pace. I would highly recommend this tour!
Leon was fabulous, so many great stories to bring the Tower of London to life. Set clear expectations of what would happen over the course of the three hours, managed to get the group into a roped off area to see the torture devices and ensured the group was at the bridge on time.
Leon our guide was great, and the VIP entrance to the Tower was well worth it. BUT we were pretty unimpressed with the Tower Bridge. If we had it to do over, we would skip the bridge "tour" (really just a walk across the upper walkways) and spend more time at the Tower and maybe just walk across the Tower bridge afterwards.
Loved it, totally worth the price to bypass all lines. Fia was an excellent guide and even my kids (11 & 13) were completely entertained.
Great fun! Nice to arrive before the crowds. The tour was informative. Timing was long enough to see the sites, but not too long where we were waiting.
Truly awesome tour! We learned so very much. We were given a sufficient amount of time at each location. Highly recommend this walking Tour.
It was great to beat the crowds at the Crown Jewels. As we left the Jewels there was already a line forming. The Beefeater ceremony was ok. Once we had the tickets for Tower Bridge we were on our own. The tour through the rest of the Tower was a little rushed. I would have liked to be able to return to the Tower of London to explore further. It was a good overview.
John gave us a fantastic tour of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. His knowledge of the history was incredible, and he made sure we didn’t miss the Ceremony of the Keys opening ceremony, a true highlight of the visit. Engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about London’s history. Highly recommend!
Going to the opening of the Tower gets you in early to see the Crown Jewels without big crowds. Lots of history here.
John was great! Have done the tour with and without the VIP experience. Definitely do the VIP experience! Got in with no line early and John gave us so much history and background.
Our guide Leon was very thorough, friendly, and engaging. He also had a very good sense of humor and liked to tell stories.
Recommended, our guide John was amazing, great fund of knowledge and great communication skills. We enjoyed the tour.
