Very informative our tour guide was hilarious loved everything, highly recommended to anyone visiting London. The highlight was the river cruise.👍
Alan, the tour guide made it loads of fun. The tour guide on the boat portion was equally great. This experience exceeded our expectations.
Bus was clean, driver was safe and guide gave a lot of good information about London. Cruise on Thames was nice, although we had to wait in a pretty long line. Commentator on river cruise was entertaining.
Fantastic scenic ride throughout London. Got to see all the top spots and learn a little bit about each. Stephen and Eugene were great! The river cruise was also a wonderful way to see more sites from a different perspective. The whole family really enjoyed the tour!
The Vintage Bus Tour was fantastic! Lisa was very knowledgeable and made us laugh! My kids are 8 and 10 and they absolutely loved it! Shawn was a great driver! He kept us safe and was excellent at navigating the busy London streets!
Tour started well with the bus. The cruise was interesting until Westminster, but as the next stop (London Eye) arrived the stop was so short that the crew asked us to wait and let passengers board before letting us off. The crew simply told us to wait while they were obviously removing the jetty and heading off. Arguments flew , it to no avail as the staff would do nothing… 15 passengers wanting to alight were not listened to , but as you all know on board the captain is always right… unpleasant but the boat did finally turn around .
Tour guide was alot of fun and very knowledgeable! Enjoyed the Uber boat ride & the London eye. Would recommend.
Did this tour with Lisa, this was our best tour of our stay and 3rd tour but she gave us info we hadn’t been told previously and covered a lot of sites. Followed by the river cruise which was great! Being a beautiful sunny day also always helps.
We added on the London Eye experience after the bus and water tour. We were under the impression from the first guide we were being taken back to the station where the tour started but instead we had to get a cab to take us back to our hotel after the London Eye experience Future clients need to be aware that they are own their own once they get off the London Eye
The perfect taste of London. We were able to see everything!!!! No way we could have taken in all of these sights on our own. Terrific value! Lisa and Eugene were fantastic!
Harrowing ride through loaded London streets, more fun than an amusement park ride just watching our driver! Lisa was wonderful and taught us a ton despite the intermittent rain. Was the perfect trip to acquaint us on our first day in the city. Boat tour was frosting on the cake!
We had a lovely day: 2 hours bus tour of London followed bt a river cruise and a ride on the London Eye
Steve is a walking talking encyclopaedia and historian as well as a comedian. Highly informative and entertaining 😀 can highly recommend this tour . The bus itself is really cool great way to see the city. Keep up the great work 👍
It was a fun excursion for our family group of three generations. Lisa was a great guide and very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history of London. Highly recommended.
Lisa was a fantastic guide….full of great info and easy to understand. So much to see on this tour!! I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get a taste of London sites and then you can decide where you want to go back and spend more time.
This was an excellent tour of popular London sights with our knowledgeable guide, John. Riding the double decker vintage bus was a highlight as well as the river cruise. The views were amazing! Able to take amazing photos. A most wonderful time!
Unfortunately, we were 10 minutes late for the tour and the tour left without us. We lost the money and never had the tour of London. I can’t comment on this tour but what I will say is that it might be a little kinder if you had a 15 minute grace period
* It was all a wonderful blur. We saw London tower, London bridge, changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, Thames River Cruise, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square. (Options for Stone Henge or London Eye). This was a really awesome tour, I’d call it a bit of a tease as I only had a brief time in London but was able to get a really quick and nice intro to it. My guide Alan was tremendous. He was funny, knowledgeable, and prompt. He got us to the perfect spot to watch the changing of the guard, and kept us well informed of what we were doing, what we were seeing, and every bit of historical and cultural significance. I HIGHLY recommend this tour for those with limited time or folks looking for the London highlight reels. There are tons of adds for everyone likes to make it as customizable to your travel needs as possible! Highly recommend
It was a nice way to get an overview of London. It hit the main attractions and got a bit of history as well.
Great overview tour of London, hits all the major spots tourists need to see! The vintage bus was very cool and fun to ride on.
The guide was pleasant and knowledgable and often funny! We saw lots of the city. The sound system was not clear so it was difficult to hear the guide, otherwise a good trip.
The tour passed by all of the major landmarks and our guide Steve provided great commentary on each site.
After spending months planning and booking my tour way in advanced, I was emailed mere weeks before my travel date that the tour timeslot I booked is no longer available. Unable to move my schedule to accommodate the ONE booking slot they had available to change to- 5 hours later than my initial timeslot, I had to cancel the entire reservation. Highly do not recommend this company unless you're looking to book 24-48 hours in advanced.
This a great bus tour to see all the high lights of London. Our tour guide Lisa was very knowledgeable and kept the tour going at a great pace. Lisa made each of us feel that we were the most important visitors in the city. She obviously wanted us to love London as much as she did. She made the tour a joy!
Lisa was a great guide who shared a lot of interesting facts and information. Saw so much of London. Was great to stop at Buckingham palace. Would highly recommend.
Great tour. Friendly guide. Only complaint is the directions to the pick-up site were very vague and i almost didnt catch the bus. Once on, it was fun and informative.
This was worth the money. We didn't do the extra just the bus and boat.. we saw a lot more than we expected
We loved this tour! Very knowledgeable guide, saw all the places - palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament, etc. We went across several bridges, and took a nice cruise on the River. Don’t skip the London Eye ride, well worth it!
Best London bus tour that I’ve been on. Saw everything in a reasonable amount of time and guides were knowledgeable and fun. Enjoyed the short boat ride too. Would recommend!
Our tour ended up being a smaller group, which we loved because it was easier to hear our guide Allen who did a fabulous job. Rather than fighting the crowds to be up close to see the Change of Guard, we stood by the barracks where the Guards returned to. That in itself was amazing, as we were literally an arms length away. I would recommend this tour if you’re considering other options. And you get to ride in an old double decker!
The tour was well worth our time and money. Our tour guide, Steve, was a wealth of information sprinkled with the right amount of jokes. It was our first day ever in London. We learned about so much history and quaint facts. I know where the queen bought her undergarments and the name of the paint color on the buildings.
Alan was a lot of fun as a guide and we saw so many sites. We got slightly wet but didn't mind and still saw it all. The boat trip was a welcome addition and getting to get dropped off atHarrods to look around was unexpected.
While the guide was knowledgeable We took this tour to see the changing of the guards. We only caught the very last part. We also did not have time to view buckingham palace but We added the eye tour to our package and he told us it was a 15 minute walk to there. Google said 35 minutes which was accurate so no time to see the palace. Very disappointing
We participated in a vintage bus tour with a Thames River cruise. The email we received included detailed information about the meeting place and check-in method, so we arrived without any worries. There was a staff member waiting for us inside the station building, so we were able to check in smoothly. An old-fashioned vintage bus, people walking by spotted this wonderful bus and took pictures. We were lucky to be able to sit in the open space on the second floor of this retro bus. Our guide, John, is very knowledgeable and has a great service spirit. He was kind throughout the tour, both on and off the bus. At Buckingham Palace, John took a lot of photos of us, the tour guests. He was a really kind gentleman. At first, we had planned to walk around London on our own plan, so we gave up on sightseeing in the city. However, thanks to this tour, we were able to see all the sights in London in half a day. We were very satisfied with just the bus tour, but surprisingly, we took a Thames River cruise at the end. The view of Big Ben from the bow was amazing. Thank you to John and all the staff for your kindness
The tour was so-so. The tour guide was fairly good, but you couldn’t hear her clearly because the sound system was muffled. The same thing happened when Frank was our tour guide on the boat. You couldn’t hear him well at all, especially when you were on the bow of the boat trying to take a few photos. You had to choose between hearing the tour inside and taking photos outdoors with the poor speaker system. The boat was a public Uber boat so I don’t think the tour company has any control of the sound system though. Also, we had quite a wait between the bus tour and the boat tour. It didn’t seem well coordinated. Overall, we were surprised by how mediocre the tour was given the good reviews on Trip Advisor. Maybe they just had an off day.
We were on a crunch with just one day to explore London, and picked this tour to see it all. We enjoyed our tour guide Elisa and our driver Sean. We saw Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, did a boat tour on the Thames, and a changing of the guard ceremony. Elisa was witty and had lots of interesting history to tell us about, and Sean was a safe and efficient driver. Later we transitioned to another bus out to Stone Henge. Our new driver (sorry not to remember his name) was professional and got us there safely on a long adventure. Would highly recommend this tour!
The tour guide was super knowledgeable and amusing. All the random tourists asked for photos like he was Tom Cruise. I had a great trip!
I sat at the back of the bus up top and was able to hear the guide without issue. It was a well done tour that hit the highlights of London - exactly what I was looking for as I was only in London for a day! Highly recommend for anyone who wants a well-informed broad overview of London and its history.
Viator have great & efficient customer service. The trip was well organised, Magnus was a brilliant guide, very informative. London Eye was closed due to technical issues. Refund sorted easily the next day with Viator. We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip, thank you!
Good tour. Maybe a little too long. Knowledgeable tour guide. A little bumpy process getting from the boat to the London eye.
Fabulous trip. Guides were excellent. Superb value for money John the guide was brilliant. Trip on the Thames was great
Steve, our tour guide, was amazing! He made the entire experience of seeing London so enjoyable and knew so much about London's history. He was friendly, cared for his guests safety and was always ready to do whatever he could to make our tour the best possible tour of London ever!
The meetup place is easy to get to via tube and the bus station is easy to understand. Check in and boarding was smooth, and the tour guide was very amusing overall. The package deal for the bus tour, London Eye, & River cruise was a good price to minimize stress of having to do things all yourself and instead puts a local expert in charge of facilitating what you want to do anyway. For us, feeling a little time crunched and wanting to do a lot, we were really happy with this tour. Highly recommend!
Was a wonderful way to see the highlights of London in a half day! Lisa (our tour guide) was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Vintage bus and boat was enjoyable.
This was an excellent way to see the city. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, fun and engaging. They were very easy to hear both on the bus and during our stops. Our tour guide John knew all the ins and outs and made sure we got to the right spots for viewing and great photo ops! I highly recommend this tour for all!!
We all loved this vintage tour bus!! The bus was kept up beautifully and so fun to ride in. The tour guide was so kind. He was very informative and so interesting to listen to. This tour was by far my personal favorite in London. Was easy to find where to board and had a wonderful relaxing ride. Our guide even made sure we were dropped off near the station. A wonderful way to start off our London holiday.
Our tour guide, Michael, was the best. Very friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and funny. (He's officially my new joke supplier!!)
We took the Sunday morning tour. It was the best decision we made. There were only four of us. It was like a private tour of London with John our guide. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and witty. He took our photos and showed us the best spot for photos of the royal horsemen and changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. We highly recommend the Vintage Bus Tour.
A great way of seeing London from a real old red bus. Driver was able to adapt the journey to road conditions and time. Nothing felt rushed. Personable tour guide called Greg with a vast array of tales and insight into everything we passed. Nothing felt scripted as he was able to adapt conversation according to the groups interest and to what was happening live I.e King Charles being in residence at the Palace so Royal Standard flown. A cost effective way of having a tour of the best sights in London, with great commentary plus river cruise and London Eye experience. Tips: 1. Coach station feels chaotic-don’t worry staff are used to getting everyone to the right place. 2. Dress for the weather. 3. Ask questions. Our guide was so knowledgeable. 4. This was way better than driving for hours to Stonehenge on a coach. 5. Many great eateries near the London Eye. Google in advance to see where they are.
