It always amazes me how bus drivers are able to navigate thru especially heavy rush hour traffic with these huge vehicles. Our driver was great, quietly getting us through the heavy traffic quickly and efficiently.

Even though your are on time, others may not be. Take smaller group. We waited over 1 hour for one couple, who was not on time.

We were going to the the port in Dover to catch a cruise for my birthday celebration. I am the type of person that will show up an hour early before being late. they showed up 40 minutes late with 2 vehicles instead of 1 for our 2 hour transfer and then they STOPPED for gas. You had to be on board by 315pm and didn't arrive until 255pm. Needless to say, it was an awful start to my celebration.

Changed time from requested pick up of 10 to 9 .then came at 8:30. Van had a horrible vomit smell. Three hour drive very unpleasant.

The driver contacted us multiple times for pickup and we were supposed to be picked up at 11:00 and instead we were rushed and picked up at 9:30 I was supposed to be just us on the ride to south hampton but we had 4 others we had to stop and pickup The lady driver was very rude and didn’t speak any English, I had get on the phone with the operator and talk to him about where we where going as she didn’t know When we did finally get to the cruise ship she had no idea what cruise ship or where to drop us off Then she was very rude and told my wife to shut up That we did understand We have a return trip through this company but I will be finding a different company. DO NOT use this company!

Our driver arrived on time and took us straight to the Dover cruise port. Everything went smoothly and we would certainly use this service again.

Shuttle pickup for us was as planned, however we were picked up at 10 am and the next pickup for individuals was at a hotel around the corner at 11 am. We sat in vehicle for almost an hour waiting for this pickup. The company should have arranged this pickup closer together or contacted us to perhaps change pickup time.

I booked this transfer from our hotel in London for 9 AM on May 10, 2026 going to Southampton Cruise Port hoping to arrive by 11 AM. We had assumed we would have a private vehicle. No, it was a 50 seat bus. We thought we would arrive at 11 AM to board. The bus did other pickups around London with one stop lasting over 40 minutes ! The bus was nearly full. We arrived at Southampton close to 4 hours later than we had anticipated. Needless to say this was extremely stressful. This totally ruined our boarding experience. I am asking for a total refund per Viator’s guarantee of satisfaction. Please keep in mind, we have other excursions booked on this trip.

Driving is a skill that many of us take for granted. Our driver Fernando did a fantastic job of getting us to our destination safely and on time. And he was pleasant to chat with from time to time (we did not want to distract him). He texted us on WhatsApp ahead of time so that we knew where and when to meet him. He stowed our luggage in the car and away we went.

Wow, this was probably one of our worst viator experiences, if not the worst ever. Our guide spoke no English. She was a contractor for whoever this group uses and I would tell you her name, but we never were told. Our luggage was handled poorly she broke a tag off of my daughter's bag. She didn't put the van in neutral when picking up the 2nd guests and the van began to roll. The temperature was burning up.hot. She drove very dangerously, tailgating, cutting people off, causing many people to blow the horn at us. She took multiple calls during the drive. She didnt know where she was taking us, so she had to call the company that contracted her and eventually had to ask us on Google translate which dock and terminal the Queen Mary 2 was at. We told her 10, the Mayflower terminal. She couldn't read the signs for Mayflower and initially took us to the Fred Olsen ship terminal. Once we got to the qm2, one of the other couples said we go to dover after this, right? She didnt know what they were saying so they had to call the provider. They were supposed to be leaving out of dover, not southampton, but they had put them on our van. Dover is approximately 2hrs away. I cant recommend this provider at all. If they read this, I dont know the drivers name, but please never hire her again.

I booked for 2 private vans to take us to the cruise port instead we were picked up by a bus that made several stops causing a delay on our scheduled check-in time. We were not informed about the change in transportation.

Easy way to get to the ship. It was about a 2 hour drive from central London. Driver was on time and the van was very nice. Ended up on a group van but there was plenty of room for everyone. And no stops to pick up others.

Then came the surprise: we were sharing the van with other passengers. Turns out, everyone else in the vehicle had the exact same misconception—we were all grumbling about it from the start. We were the first pickup, but by the time we reached the next couple at their hotel, we were over 45 minutes behind schedule. The delays just snowballed from there. By the end, we were crammed in like sardines in a tin—six adults plus mountains of luggage in what felt like an overburdened minivan. The driver performed absolute miracles trying to Tetris everything in, but it was clear the vehicle was struggling under the weight. At one point, another car on the motorway even flashed its lights and gestured wildly to signal that our van looked dangerously overloaded. The whole journey felt unsafe and chaotic, turning what should have been a smooth 2-hour transfer into a stressful ordeal that made us late for our cruise embarkation. For $356, this service was nowhere near worth it. Overpriced for a shared, unreliable shuttle that prioritized squeezing in as many fares as possible over comfort or punctuality. Save your money and book something truly private—lesson learned the hard way. Avoid unless you’re okay with the gamble.

This was the worst ground transportation we have ever had. To charge a surcharge and then go and wait and wait at other hotels was rediculous. We had a boarding time of 12 noon which we did not make due to all the stops and waits. The driver was not the least concerned about our schedule one bit. Then to have the gull to contact me today to pay the surcharge which I already paid in April 2025.

Easy to schedule. Good communication. Arrived 20 minutes early. Timely arrival at our destination. Would use this service again.

Make sure to check port. Multiple ports in London. They got us there but this was a problem. Driver very nice.

We were suppose to go to Dover Cruise Port. There were 3 other people on transfer besides my family of 7. Thank goodness on of our party realized we were going in the wrong direction. He approached the driver and he said he was driving to Southampton Cruise Port (where the other 3 were suppose to go) He explained to the driver we are suppose to go to Dover. He refused to stop or turn around. We had to call the company and they told us to tell him to stop at the closest rest stop. He refused saying he is not doing anything until he heard from his boss. My daughter tried to tell him we had to be there at a certain time. He shrugged his shoulders. We had to call back the company to tell them that he refuses to do anything until they call him. They did call and made arrangements to stop and they brought another vehicle to transfer the other party to Southampton. It was a very upsetting transfer.

We booked kind of last minute with no problems. Be aware that it is a shared ride with pickups at other hotels. Driver was early but we were ready. Would definitely recommend

Good communication about pick-up time. Driver called when he arrived at the hotel. Van was a bit stuffy at first and another passenger had to ask the driver to turn up the air.

The driver appeared to speak very little English and when he picked up the third and last couple at 1:00pm they were still in bed. Your policy calls for him to have leave them and the passengers on board requested that the driver continue on without them. We had already waited 20+ minutes for them before luggage. There was one other couple on board beside us and we all had to wait for these people to get out of bed and get to the van then they had so much luggage that the entire back of the van was filled to the very top of the roof, a very dangerous environment for all of us. We told the driver it was not safe to allow suitcases to be able to fly forward onto the back and front seats in the event of an accident. We told him he could move the luggage to the second row and place on the floorboard but he ignored our request. We took photos of the luggage piled to the top of the ceiling. We have used Viator many times over the years but will not be using them again.

Driver was on time. However, we were not informed that he would be picking up 2 additional people. The pickup required a return to the airport and added an additional 1 1/2 hours to travel time. Driver was courteous and safe. We did not like the additional time added to our trip.

Thought we paid for an individual car transfer to Southampton from our hotel at 11 AM. Company called and said pick up changed to 940AM and it turned out to be a multi person van with 8 passengers and another pickup, not a solo car. That was OK and the van was comfortable and the trip was fine, but they should have Indicated we were paying for a multi person shared ride, not a solo car which, for $336, we thought we were getting. Felt like a bait and switch. So if you book thIs transfer, it's a mutiperson van, not a solo car. So be aware.
