Hands down worth every penny to do the early tour. Seeing the opening ceremony and the Crown Jewels before the crowd was awesome. And Lee very knowledgeable and funny. He gave us some history and brought us in for the ceremony. Then we explored on our own.
Early access to Beefeaters greeting and opening the doors and the Crown Jewels. We were able to see each with a minimum of people and move quickly through each display.
The opening key ceremony with the Beefeater was amazing!!! It was an incredible experience and seeing the Crown Jewels without the crowds was great!

This tour is short, but it gets you in the door quick and you get to see the opening from the inside and you get to be the first ones into the crown Jules before it gets busy. The tour guide was very funny and entertaining, and did what he was supposed to do.

The guide gave Interesting facts in an entertaining way before the tour and the beefeater and opening ceremony were great! The Crown Jewels were the cherry on top!

He is the consummate professional guide - ensuring his guests are happy and able to enjoy the historical buildings/elements while understanding their significance and history. The opening ceremony tour with The Tour Guy is worth every penny. Our guide, Lee, was friendly, funny, informative and, best of all, able to get us in to see the opening ceremony and the Crown Jewels before anyone else. Had we booked on our own, we wouldn’t have been first in which is critical if you want to actually see anything. Highly recommend and if you can, request Lee!

Lee was informative and fun. He crammed a lot of information in a short time. We enjoyed seeing the opening ceremony and touring the Tower compound subsequently. The whole thing was fascinating and we were glad we made the choice to get there with the earlybirds.

This tour was not worth the money. We did the opening ceremony but due to the construction at the site you can not go through the gates they actually open with the keys. They didn’t let us go close to where they were actually opening it. We could watch them march down but could not see it. Our guide then just walked us up to the entry to the jewels and left. It wasn’t a real guide. Just buy early access tickets yourself. This was not with the price of this tour
