Gabby was a fantastic guide! She really brought the victims’ stories to life.

Our tour guide, Gabby, was great! Very knowledgeable and a great story teller.
Great tour around Whitechapel and the city being regaled with the story of Jack the Ripper and his victims. Our guide, Gabby, was knowledgeable and engaging and both adults and children enjoyed it.
Tour guide was excellent. Very professional and unbiased with his knowledge. Dominic was excellent at delivering all of the information he’d gathered and enjoyed the fact he recommended books and podcasts for those interested in delving deeper into this mystery. Really enjoyed all the images he shared throughout the tour along with the information shared which helped put everything into context. I also thought it was very respectful when he asked us all to acknowledge (and rightly so) those poor women who were so terribly murdered during this time - his harmonica playing was an extra special touch. Would highly recommend.
Very interesting tour and guide did a good job despite terrible weather conditions - like the focus on the victims and the social impact of the murders - definitely recommend it
Our guide was Ivan. He is VERY knowledgable. Not a question was unanswered and he delivered every bit of information with the greatest passion. 200% would recommend.
We réal enjoy thé tour and Nick was an expert! We enjoyed the walk and the talk. We highly recommend Nick - he’s a great Ripperologist!
Anna was a fantastic guide. Incredibly knowledgeable, warm and interesting. We had two teens with us. Had reviewed the content and checked they were comfortable. Anna was always careful to make sure they were ok without reducing content for other people on the tour.
We spent two hours after sundown in a dicey neighborhood of White Chapel. The guide was personable, but there was something lagging in her storytelling and it got boring. They were about 15 people on the tour and she had us walking around a dark neighborhood after sundown and we did not have the opportunity to sit anywhere during the entire two hour tour. When we found what looked like a place to sit down, she warned us not to sit down because rats populated this particular location. It was hard on my feet. She talked and talked about Jack the Ripper and the women who were murdered, but it wasn’t interesting. It was just information spoke spoken to us. At the end of the tour, we did not go back to our original meeting location. We were left in a strange part of the neighborhood that I had a hard time to negotiating out of. But we finally made it to the main street and all is well. I would say add a couple of areas where we can sit instead of stand for two hours and take us back to our original meeting place so our bearings are straight. She was very knowledgeable, but there has to be some kind of hook for imagination to take hold and that needs to be worked on. Thank you.
Did the classic ripper tour this evening with my husband Gabby was our guide she was fantasic very knowledgeable and extremely personable and professional . Highly recommend we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and gabby was an excellent historian . 10/10
We were a group of 7 on the 7pm Jack the Ripper Tour on Saturday 10th October 2026 with Nick. He was excellent. Very knowledgeable and knew all his information by heart. His pace was perfect so all could keep up. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk. A real asset to your company.
Our tour guide, Anna, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She spoke well and was easy to understand. She conducted the tour at a good walking pace so that everyone was able to keep up.
Great tour with lots of history about the White Chapel area, the 5 victims and the way of life in the late 1800s. Our guide Sina was great and provided a lot of interesting information.
You learn more than just about Jack the Ripper. You also get a sneak peek into life in the 1880s London.
Martin ran such a fun and interesting tour. He kept us hooked the whole time and shared some cool facts about Jack the Ripper and the East End. Even as a Londoner, I learned things I’d never heard before. I really enjoyed it.
Gabby was an excellent guide. So knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks Gabby.
Wonderful tour. Our guide James was very knowledgeable and gave us a great presentation of the victims and the crimes that took place.
Julia was a great tour guide. She walked and talked at a pace that was comfortable but still able to cover a lot of ground and give a lot of information. She warned us before she showed us particularly gruesome photos - it was great to have photos at all.
Be prepared to have a hearty walk on your journey into the past. Guide is very well informed and open to questions.
Great 2 hour walking tour. Really informative and parts of London you wouldn’t normally see. Highly recommended
Martin is knowledgeable, communicates well and offers an easy, well planned walk for a modern day investigation into who was Jack the Ripper.
It's a REALLY long walk. Our tour guide was very dedicated to minutia. We learned fun stuff like the basis for the saying "waking up hung over."
Our tourguide, Julia, had lots of information to share during the tour, including many pictures. She was very kind, social and approachable for questions. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting London!
Arne, our tour guide from the Netherlands, was very informative and we learnt such a lot about the social history as much as on JTR and his victims. It was very hot (9th October - during heatwave) and the 2 hours of walking / standing was demanding especially as Arne was a fairly fast walker! We worked out it was around 3 miles walking in total. We would have liked more opportunity to ask questions - no time during tour, really - only had a minute or so at end as Arne had to leave and start another tour after ours. Overall, it was definitely worth the money and I’ve since ordered “The Five” book Arne recommended!
This was a very entertaining and interesting tour. Our guide, Julia, was great. We learned a lot about Linda n how n the 1800’s.
Jack was awesome and kept everyone engaged the whole time. The tour was well organized and the timeline of events were explained in great detail. Again Jack was amazing and our family listening the whole time! Definitely would recommend this tour when in London.
We had a great time on this tour. Our guide, Ivan, was knowledgeable and shared several interesting details about the Jack the Ripper case that we hadn't heard before. My only suggestion would be to spend a little more time walking closer to some of the key locations and pointing them out in greater detail. At times, it was difficult to fully appreciate the significance of certain sites from where we were standing. Overall, it was a fun and engaging experience. I especially enjoyed walking through Whitechapel and the City of London in late evening and learning more about one of history's most infamous unsolved mysteries. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the case.
Our tour guide, Jack, was very knowledgeable on the subject and made the whole tour interesting and fun.
I learnt a lot interesting facts about Jack the Ripper during this tour. The tour guide was also very knowledgeable, and walking through the streets of London added to the overall atmosphere and experience.
if you are old tired and hard of hearing stay away from this attraction.
Jack (his real name, not making this up) was enthusiastic, funny, knowledgeable, and most of all compassionate about the victims - we appreciated the detail he went into about what was known of them, and framing the discussion in a way that reminded us that they were vulnerable women in an incredibly hard place, not just 2D characters. Thank you!
Great tour with a knowledgeable guide. I would highly recommend. Please note: for people with mobility issues this might be too much walking on uneven ground.
While the information was good, our guide rushed us to each stop and then explained quickly what she wanted to tell us before walking to the next point. People in our group struggled to keep up and missed anything that was said on the way. There was no microphone or headphones to hear. Missed a lot of info there were other guides that spoke up way louder. Wish we had one of those instead. She also ended our tour 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Said she had to hurry to another tour. Very disappointed she didn’t want to put the time and effort into our tour.
Tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Did this tour with my daughter who is 14. Highly recommend this tour
Nick was absolutely amazing. He gave us so much information and was super animated and kept us entertained the whole time. I learned so many things I never knew about the case from him. I would recommend this tour to anyone that has even the slightest bit of interest in Jack the Ripper or even the biggest enthusiest.
Absolutely loved this tour! Nic did amazing. He was an awesome story teller, we really felt like we were back in the Ripper days. A fantastic Ripperologist he was!
This was a really interesting and informative experience! Bettina our guide was fantastic, she was clear and thorough with all the information and also very friendly! Highly recommend to anyone with an interest in the macabre or crime.
Our guide, Mariella, was brilliant. She was passionate and considerate. Great teacher!
Our tour guide was Arne (? Sorry, spelling may not be correct) ... he was the perfect guide; from the walking pace to his depth of knowledge & passion for the subject! Arne described the the ladies and their situations perfectly to a widely mixed audience, from young to older folk. It was a brilliant tour & well worth the cost ... the mystery remains just that ...
This was an interesting tour that followed the carnage of Jack the Ripper. Our tour guide Milton was very informative and provided background information about many of the suspects. Be advised that Milton walks very fast and didn't always wait for us slower walkers. We eventually caught up, but it was a challenge.
Bettina was great!!! This tour was awesome. Wear your good walking shoes. Our whole family loved it.
Painfully slow tour. Guide walked slowly, stopped far too much, showed too many photos on her iPad and the whole tour just dragged by. Not what I was expecting.
Felt like a history class. Half the group left early. It wasn’t bad just not great.
We had a great tour guide. She was informative, honest about what was known and not known, and very welcoming. We started with an overview that helped everyone feel oriented to the walk, and at each stop had time for questions. I really appreciated that the tour was focused on the victims and the case facts, and didn’t try to be spooky or overly dramatic. It was cool to see a mix of Whitechapel’s current sections, and marry it to the town we know from the stories. Excellent way to spend a couple hours.
This tour was so fun! Julia was amazing and shared a ton of interesting information! Would absolutely recommend.
This was my favourite tour in London. Riveting storytelling provided by a great guide (ironically named Jack), this was such a great way to reacquaint myself with what happened and learn new things along the way. Highly recommend
The tour was interesting. I found the area fascinating. Our guide Anna helped us to imagine how the east end looked and smelt at the end of the 19th centuary. She dealt with the brutality of the content in a humerous and palatable way, which was made possible by her expert knowledge of the subject. An enjoyable tour.
There are tons of these tours to choose from and I think most are very similar. Our guide made the tour interesting. She talked about the victims and gave some background on the Victorian times and living conditions which were also interesting
Super interesting information, great guide (Anna), and very short walks. Booked this tour with friends on a pre-med travel abroad from America and we all had a great time!
Very good tour. Our tour operator Andrew was great. Very good story teller. Enjoyed by our whole family.
