Overall the experience was wonderful, however, the Viator app was not working so I had to go to customer service in order to get onto the London eye.

Me and my new Wife have just got Married on The London Eye... It was out of this world, on such a beautiful and Iconic piece of London, the view on such a clear day we had was amazing, all of our guest were stunned on just how beautiful they had done the Pod out for so and the Ceremony with our guests at the top of the Eye was breath taking and so beautiful, you just can't put into words the experience we all had, as it's just one of those moments that money just can buy. The management and all the staff your so accommodating in everything they did for us, which made our day even more special, all our guests have said it was a day and moment they would remember for the rest of their lives as you just can't recrate a wedding like ours anywhere else in the world apart from being on this Iconic structure on the London Eye... and it didn't finish there, as we had an amazing after wedding food and drinks in their Count Hall Pod 13, where the food & drink were so delicious. Our wedding was our dream to have it on the London Eye and the management and all the staff made our dream a reality.... Thank you all at the London Eye... Vince & Jo
It was great that there was no queue on a Sunday morning for the Eye. Staff who we came into contact with helpful and friendly. The ride is expensive unfortunately.
It is not a scary experience even if you tend to suffer from vertigo, but is not worth going on if visibility is poor. There is some distortion in the curved glass sections of the pods. I saved a lot by purchasing tickets through booking.com. Prices vary from hour to hour, and tickets may be not available for all time slots as it gets later in the day.
Was a fun time and appreciated the champagne and shorter line but you can book it when you walk up for face value and not have to pay a premium to Viator Had i known i could’ve saved like 20 pounds i believe 🙏🏻
Great way to see London area if you've never been here before. On a clear day you can see a whole of different things of the London skyline.
Great view!! Line setup a little inefficient… the day was gorgeous! Love London!!! Go Great Britain!
Amazing views across London and just a fun experience to enjoy. Queues can be long but worth the wait. Take a camera and enjoy!
We went on a day it was raining. Do not skip this attraction just because it’s raining, it is still absolutely amazing! Been waiting 3 years to go on it because last time I was hear I didn’t know enough to book ahead of time, so please do that also! Enjoy London by sky it’s well worth it!!!
brilliant experience worth every penny
Stunning views, even in the rain. A bit pricey for the experience. My son enjoyed it, wouldn't do it again.
Quite expensive for 20 minutes £33 each person.
Good way to see view of London. Helped to have a timed entry and skip the line. There are about 10-15 people in the pod with you.
Great experience!! Easy to find and enter, very smooth experience, we actually were able to enter earlier
Fantastic views of London. I think it’s worth getting into the Eye than other observation decks. There will be crowds but the queues are managed well. A walk to Wastminster Big Ben and Trafalgar Square can be combined . Even Buckingham palace is not very far
Get fast track tickets. Well worth the money. Walked right on without waiting.
Fast Track Line was worth the higher priced ticket!!!!! Approximately a thirty minute excursion with fabulous views. You are able to walk around during the entire ride.
Eye of London was amazing even if you have to get on and off while it is moving. I was a little nervous doing that. Views were great. Wonderful photo opportunities.
Loved it ! Beautiful view of London City Got lucky and weather was mostly sunny Advise to get “fast track” ticket as lines can be very long especially on weekends
Great but terrible time getting there. Protests and construction everywhere. But the fast track as lines are very long.
Take photos, take photos, take photos. Purchase the fast entrance ticket. Take friend. Take pictures!!
The views are amazing. You must do at least once in your life. So many amazing views from London. I would do it again
Such amazing views worth it to book
The tickets are a little pricey, but definitely worth it. We went on a clear day, had amazing views, and got some incredible pictures of London from above. Highly recommend!
Queues are lengthy but move relatively quickly! Despite booking a particular time slot, it makes no difference!
I am scared of heights but it was fine. Amazing views. Definitely worth going. I heard sunset is special
It was an experience but not great views or pics through glass and glare from sun. Timing your ticket is recommended. But views from Sky Garden (which is free) are much better.
It’s our second time doing the London eye. If I’m honest, once you have done it, it’s not worth the second visit. We went as we have Merlin passes so was free. If it’s your first visit, it’s a great experience and offers some of the best views of London. Definitely worth a go once if you have never done it before.
Booked for 10:30 ticket. Did not need express ticket that early. POD was clean and the sight of London were fantastic. This was my second go around and would do it again.
Good views but make sure you’ve been to toilet first
Good experience seeing London & surrounding areas from a different perspective. Takes about 30 mins so you have the time to try & figure out where everything is. The pods will stop for those with accessibility issues so that they can get on & off easily, otherwise be prepared for a moving target. Not sure it’s worth the £39 price tag though…just ticket no extras.
This was a take it or leave it attraction for me. Cost was a bit expensive, $50. US. Half hour for one revolution. Nice views but could do without.
Great view of London. Includes commentary about the sites. We got the skip the line ticket and walked right on within 5 minutes.
Went for my sons birthday his seven. The queen line moved quite quick. Staff were helpful. Noticed elderly people in wheel chairs having to line up with us. Should be a separate line for wheelchair users. Other than that great experience.
Amazing view of London. The Big Ben looks great.
I booked this through TripAdvisor/viator, was an easy process and had lots of time to cancel London Eye is well worth the visit for panoramic views of London. Easy process to get on Go early, less people, My wait time was about 25 minutes, and I booked for 11:00 AM
i think the hype is better than the actual experience. so slow and draggy. it's a dud as far as i can see. however, i did enjoy seeing the city at sunset from above.
Amazing ride and views of a great city
Definitely book the fast pass it’s well worth it we where there on a Saturday and it was very very busy and with the fast pass with skipped right to the front
Such an iconic experience! We had a timed entry but due to weather and being in the area the staff were kind enough to allow and earlier entry.
A great experience that enables you to view the entire city of London. Descriptions highlighting the various landmarks are provided throughout.
A little pricey but a very cool way to see London from the sky! It was a very hot day but the A/C in our pod was very refreshing. I was able to get tickets through TripAdvisor even though they were sold out for the day on the official site which was really great because it was our last day in London. Overall a very fun experience.
Awesome must use fast track , cabin gets warm. London fish and chips near by. Workers very courteous and helpful
Rowan and Florian were great! Rowan was extremely charismatic, kind, and most importantly - knowledgeable! The driver Florian was very safe as well. Stonehenge and Bath are incredible - they don’t need a review!
We updated our tickets to VIP. Well work the ad Dr ed cost. 7 people vs 20+ and fast pass access. Guide was fun and very knowledgeable.
Unfortunately the London Eye was experiencing mechanical issues the day of our four. We were told to Come back in an hour, which we did, but then were advised it still was not fixed and no ETA. I contacted Viator to request a refund, which a promptly received an email confirmation of my request for a full refund, which did advise it could take up to 7 days, which I am within the 7 day window while responding to this review, but seems a little long when they clearly should know if the Eye was running or not.
It’s a scam,we lost money ,we booked through Tripadvisor and done the payment for London eye but at the ticket counter, the staff told they can’t see any booking in their system
Everyone should try the London Eye. It’s a large air conditioned pod and not claustrophobic at all. It was all about the million dollar views of London. My husband got a great pic of me with Big Ben in the background. I would say it was surprisingly the high point of our trip.
No queue at all, so I got in early. Very easy to enter/leave the pod. Nobody said we needed to stand really near to the loudspeakers to hear the commentary; others chatting in my pod meant I missed lots 🤷♀️. The gifts with your photo on at the end were extortionate but I enjoyed the ride immensely.
Really helpful staff at the ticket office as I thought I had a problem with my ticket. The ride itself was great. Although a cloudy day, we could see quite a long way and all the usual iconic buildings. The ride lasts for half an hour in total.
