Abbey Road Studio is one of the worlds most important buildings in music history. It is where the Beatles recorded almost all of their albums in the 1960's. Plenty of photos opportunities. Walk across the famous zebra crossing, make your mark on the graffiti wall, visit the Abbey Road shop, and hear sensational stories of the Fab Four.
Carnaby Street was at the centre of the swinging 60's. The district of Soho is littered with musical history. This is where the Beatles earned their stripes, danced and played the night away. You will get to see the other famous studio that the Fab Four used to record iconic tracks. The venue where Paul met his wife Linda, as well as the courthouse and cell where John Lennon spent the night.
It was here, after a show in 1963, that the term 'Beatlemania' was born! Hear about how the Fab Four caused chaos after one particular show and look at the social, political and financial revolution taking place at an area steeped in history of all kinds.
This delightful Georgian house in the premier district of London's Mayfair, is where the Beatles performed their last live gig on the roof-top in 1969. Hear how this beautiful building was run during the Beatles era, and inside discover display cabinets full of Beatles memorabilia.

Dennis had great Beatles knowledge and was well versed on lots of British rock. Great experience for someone like me who appreciates the great moments of classic British music
Tim picked us up right where he was suppose to and was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Most of us had not been to London and we wanted to see a Beatles tour this was fabulous. Tim also says he does other tours but we already had tours set up. We wish we didn't we would have loved to have Tim our private tour guide the whole time we are in London. He took so many pictures of us and sent them to us we didn't have to ask and was not required to pay he just gave the pictures to us. Thank you Tim for making our trip wonderful.
We had the most amazing experience with our guide/driver Paul Williams. He was knowledgeable, professional and we could not ask for a better day! Paul was friendly and very customer focused - he went out of his way to answer our questions, provide us with a wealth of information about the rock and roll history of London and we learned a lot about artists and how they lived here. We'd highly recommend this tour to others
We had an excellent time, Paul Williams was a great host and driver.
We had an outstanding tour thanks to Michael, our driver and guide. He was THE BEST… incredibly well-versed in ‘all things Beatles’ and made sure that we not only covered the well-known stops (like Abbey Road Studios) but also took us to see some hidden gems (like Brian Epstein’s home and filling locations for ‘Hard Days Night’). We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful tour… it’s a must for Beatles fans of any age.
My daughters and I had a fun and memorable tour of notable Beatles-related locations in London. Our guide, Barry, was fun and knowledgeable. He took great care of us.
Tim our tour guide was top notch. He was very knowledgeable and was patient with us as we wanted to get the perfect shot of us walking the Abbey Road crossing. I highly recommend this tour!
What a terrible unknowledgeable tour guide! This tour was not worth the money! I believe the guide makes the tour and this one was not worth the money. Driving around and having silence in the cab and no guide is ridiculous.
We had a wonderful time with Dennis on the Beatles Tour. He was a wealth of knowledge about the Beatles and other musicians as well! He went putt of his way to accommodate us. I also want to thank Angela for being on top of reorganizing our tour when our first driver had technical troubles. I am sure he would have been great too, but we were destined to be with Dennis! I would recommend this tour company to anyone!
David met my husband and I at our Hotel, right on time. We began the morning at St. James Palace to watch and learn about The Changing of the Guards. On our walk to the BLACK TAXI we chatted about our expectations of the Beatles Tour and he shared what he hoped our experience would be. David was prepared with ice cold waters and a snack bag with treats for our 5 hour day. David was a great story teller, setting up each presentation as we arrived to a destination. Our favorite stop was arriving at Abby Road, David took pictures of us crossing the crosswalk and came prepared with markers so that we could sign the wall in front of Abby Road Production. We plan to share Black Taxi Tour with friends heading to London. So many tour options presented by David.
Our guide, David, was wonderful. So knowledgeable about all things Beatles. We not only enjoyed his exceptional commentary, but his kind, enjoyable company as well. Thank you, David! We will tell friends to look you up!
After visiting in 2022, I returned with my mom for a retirement trip. Being that it was a highlight of our 2022 trip, I knew I had to book another tour with Rachel for my mom to experience this incredible tour. As usual, Rachel was outstanding. She was prompt, took care of us while walking and sightseeing and became part of the family again! She showed us not only the Beatles famous sites, but also more rock royalty sites. 1000% recommend this tour and Rachel. By the end of the day, it just felt like we were hanging out seeing London with an old friend!
Rachel was fun, flexible and knowledgeable. She took all of our interests into account. We saw the major highlights of the Beatles career.
My boyfriend and I went on the Black taxi Beatles tour. I knew this tour would be great but it was absolutely fantastic. Rachel was the best tour guide I have ever had. She was full of Beatles facts and other information about pubs, food and Londons historic sights. We both had an amazing time. I have kept her business card to share with anyone I know who are coming to London!! Just a great person and knowledgeable tour guide!!
Our guide, Tim, was extremely knowledgeable about the Beatles and music of the 60s. My three friends and I were picked up at our hotel and driven to different spots of Beatles history. He filmed us walking across Abbey Road, which was very exciting. He took photos of us at every stop and sent them to us. It was the highlight of our visit to London!
Barry was Great!!! He was full of knowledge and Stories, plus very accommodating! The experience I had with my son will be treasured forever!!!!!!
Tim was fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and made the trip a lot of fun. He took pictures and created a video for us. I highly recommend him.
First let me say what a great guide you have in Moses Gonzalez. From pick up to drop off he was kind, knowledgeable, easy to understand and pleasant to chat with. Every spot we wanted to see was included plus a few surprises. Moses managed to navigate the city traffic with ease. He took over 100 pictures of us and made sure we were happy with them before moving on. Of course our favorite was Abbey Road crossing where he stopped traffic for us to cross. Highly recommend you ask for him when considering the Beatles tour.
This is the second time we booked this tour. It is fabulous, fantastic and fun. Paul Williams is also great. He took our picture last year walking across Abbey Road. We loved it so much, we made tshirts to remember that time.
As a lifelong Beatles fan, I wanted a tour of all the spots/addresses I’d read about or seen in photos but not in a rushed experience or in line with a crowd for my turn for photos. This tour was perfect, and our guide Stella was wonderful. She adjusted our trip for a few requested stops, but we didn’t feel rushed. Thank you for a memorable highlight from this trip to London.
Paul was amazing. This IS THE ULTIMATE BEATLES TOUR. Saw Hard Days Night shooting locations. And saw where the Rolling Stones started
We had just the best time with Paul! He took us to see everything about the Beatles in London. Something we had never known before. He was awesome!
We’ve done many private walking tours, but never a cab tour. My 16 year old picked this one. David was an amazing host. We enjoyed his company, his knowledge of the Beatles, and the side stories. Highly recommended!
Every stop brought history to life by Paul’s expansive knowledge of the Beatles and that era. We were transported back in time.
We had Moses as our tour guide! We booked this tour last minute so wasn’t sure what to expect! But we were pleasantly surprised with not only all the stops he took us to, but his knowledge of all things Beatles was excellent!! Plus he gave us some insight on London as we drove! He took pictures of us, videos of us and was very attentive to us! Whoever is lucky enough to book this tour I hope you get Moses as your guide!! He was 5 star all the way!!
Highly recommend this tour. I’ve done group tours in the past but having a private tour was another level. The driver Moses was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense humour. What I also loved was how he captured all the classic moments by taking photographs for us.
Peter was a wonderful, informative, and knowledgeable guide and made sure we saw everything important about the Beatles! Many of the true facts we had not heard of. Peter made this tour so much fun and will quiz you on facts! He also included information on other artists from the UK. SO COOL and FUN!
I’ve been back in the USA for over a week now and I still can’t stop talking about this adventure. I took my dad for Father’s Day because he is a diehard Beatles fan and we had so much fun. Moses was absolutely wonderful and made us feel like we were back in London during Beatlemania! He also took great photos so our memories will last a life time. MUST DO with Moses while in London!
We booked the Jack the Ripper tour in addition to the Beatles tour. Wonderful communication before our trip. Mick arrived in a very clean and comfortable taxi. He was a wealth of information. He took us to all of the pertinent stops. We got out at the stops and he explained the stop in detail. Mick possesses an incredible personality! This trip was to celebrate our son’s graduation. Our son loved Mick. My only regret is not booking more tours with them.
Paul Williams was amazing. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge of the Beatles. I highly recommend this tour!
Moses gave a great tour! He had lots of great stories tied in with the sights we visited. He kept us comfortable and laughing. Great job getting the “Abbey Road Crosswalk” photo!
The tour guide/driver was friendly , knowledgeable, and accommodating. We are a three generation family and our guide made it interesting for all of us.
My children, grandchildren, and I had the great pleasure of two Black Hat Taxi private tours in London with Tim Brosnan in October 2022, and both were fabulous. Tim is a knowledgeable and very entertaining guide whom I strongly recommend for a great London experience. This review is of the “Beatles with a strong side of Soho Rock & Roll history” tour. If you appreciate the music from London that changed the world in the 1960s and 70s, it’s a tour you don’t want to miss! Tim began the tour in the Marylebone burrough of London with the places where the Beatles made their music and left their mark on pop culture. This included Abbey Road Studios where, after being rejected by many other record labels in London, the Beatles recorded almost every song they made. In addition to the photo op of our walk across Abbey Road, Tim told us stories about the people, music, and cultural influence that came out of this legendary studio. The Beatles part of the tour also took us to the Marylebone train station where my grandkids, kids, and I got a chance to reenact the opening scene from the Beatles movie, A Hard Day’s Night when the Beatles were chased down the street by crazed fans. Watching the video he took of us running down the street will always bring a smile to my face. From there, we went to some of the neighborhoods where the Beatles lived in the 60’s including the house where Ringo lived for a while before John and Yoko moved in as well as where Paul lived when he was dating Jane Asher. Tim brought these homes alive with stories of Paul’s “escape route” out of the Asher house to avoid being attacked by fans, John and Yoko’s nude photo shoot that made it onto the Two Virgins album cover and, best of all for me, Paul McCartney’s home. Sir Paul’s home in St. John’s Wood, I found out, has been his residence in London since the mid-1960s – before Eleanor Rigby – and it remains his London home today. On the sidewalk in front of his house I collected a few leaves that had fallen from a tree on Paul’s property. The leaves are now framed and hung on a wall in my home – a simple-yet-fabulous piece of Beatles memorabilia made possible by Tim’s knowledge and stories of the Beatles. After the Beatles part of the tour, we headed to Soho, which was another hotbed of rock-and-roll in the 1960s. There, we found the pubs and nightlcubs where many of the great bands of that era got their starts including The Who, Jimi Hendrix the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the list goes on. Tim also showed us the hidden pubs where these musical greats spent their downtime drinking beer and sharing stories. At the end of it all, my entire family got a real sense of an era when pop culture around the world was being defined at these very spots in London. Tim finished the tour with a stop at 3 Saville Row where the Beatles played their last public concert on the rooftop – a fitting ending for both the Beatles and our tour. In addition to his deep knowledge of that era and the places and people that were part of it, Tim had style and a sense of humor that couldn’t be beat. He connected with my children and grandchildren as he told his stories, and they were enchanted by it all. Maybe his best magic trick was his knowledge of the places where he could park his taxi that, because of London parking rules, others could not. His parking magic ensured that for every place we visited, we had a short walk to see what we had come for. If a tour of the Beatles in London and London’s role in pop culture in the 60s and 70s is of interest to you, there is no better way to do it than with Tim Brosnan as your guide. I’ve been to many countries and taken many guided tours and there were none led by a better guide than Tim Brosnan. He knew what he was doing at every turn, and he conveyed his stories to us in ways that were always both informative and entertaining. If you get a chance to take a ride with Tim, don’t miss it!
My family and I had a wonderful time. Steve was very gracious, kind and very knowledgeable. There was so much to see and learn about. Highly Recommended. On behave of my wife, daughter and I, Thank you so much Steve!
Peter was the best tour guide and is really switched on to music history. We were left with a look book of all the places we went and links to the important facts on our tour plus pictures at every stop (yes, of course even the Abby Road crossing). We had so much fun! Wear comfortable shoes as Pete will keep you on your toes.
Our guide, Tim, was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. He made the tour so much fun. He took photos of us along the tour and sent them to us. One of the best guides we’ve ever had.
Peter was an amazing guide, full of knowledge about the entire area, not just the Beatles. Made sure we had perfect pics of us on Abbey Rd! Fun trip even if you are not a Beatles fan!
By far the best day in London imaginable! Rachel was the absolute best tour guide there was! She showed us more than we could have ever thought. And customized it if we had any other wishes. Cannot say enough good words about her and the London and Beatles sites. Can we do it again?! “We came across the pond for the Green Bay Packers, and crossed the crossing for the Beatles.”
Great fun for Beatles Fans! Took my dad on this tour for his birthday. He loved seeing the different locations. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun!
Seeing all the different studios / houses.! Abbey Road cool! Hearing about background information that didn’t know!
Paula was excellent! It was my daughters birthday and she loves the Beatles. Paula showed up with birthday banners in her cab and birthday pins. We went to all the regular stops like abbey road, Seville studios but she also took us to Paul’s house that he still lives in, the apartments where they lived in the early days but the very special stop was at the British library to see hand written lyrics by John and Paul. This was a double surprise as my husband loves history so we were also able to see the magna carta. Loved the hard days night stop where you see the Beatles running for the train. Thank you again Paula and thank you for the attention and care you put into the tour. Great pubs for lunch!
This had to be the highlight of the week for my boys and I who love the Beatles. Steve (our black cab driver) was simply amazing and knowledgeable about the history of the Beatles and he took us to so many places along the tour to give us a history of the Beatles as well great site seeing of London along the way. Steve was an absolutely brilliant tour guide as he share so much knowledge of the Beatles (as well as other great musicians) throughout the tour. There is no way we could have done this on our own and Steve knew great hole in the wall places that made this event so authentic and he really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. You can tell this was not a job but a passion to make the experience one the we would remember for a life time. I was so happy with the event and would strongly recommend it to others. Thank you, Charlie
Stella, our driver, was a spectacular host and a wealth of historical knowledge of the city AND rock and roll. Stella was one of our fondest memories of the trip!
This Beatles Black Taxi Tour was absolutely amazing!!! I wish I could rate 10 stars. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see The Beatles side of London! What truly made this experience one of a kind was our tour guide David B!! He was so knowledgeable, kind, and creative! The way he organized the tour was impeccable. He brought true love for the Beatles and the element of surprise together! My father and I will always remember this tour because of David. Thank you so much! Forever apart of our memories and hearts.
Bought this trip as a birthday present for my husband for a trip with his sons - they all loved the experience - Paula the driver for the day was brilliant - a trip for any Beatle fan!
Frank was wonderful! Full of history and interesting bits of information! He took great pictures and provided water and some snacks! He really got to know us! We felt like we made a new friend! It snowed (surprise) so he had us visit a store a bit longer to warm up! Exceeded expectation!
Our guide Steve was so passionate and knowledgeable about the Beatles and their history in London. His enthusiasm for the subject and the city were infectious. We would highly recommend this tour if you are a fan of the Beatles. And you will leave the tour a fan of Steve!
My wife & I went on several tours while in London, this was the best by far. Our tour guide Dave was informative with a sense of style & humor. He was well familiar with the rock scene of the 1960's Dave was great!!! I encourage anyone who goes to London to take this magical ride with Dave.
Fantastic tour. Our guide Steve was extremely knowledgeable and had a genuine passion for the history behind the Beatles and how it intertwined with London. He was a little under the weather with a cold but it didn’t slow him down a bit or curb the enthusiasm he has. We learned a lot and were taken to places I would have never dreamed of going. I would highly recommend this tour if you are a Beatles fan, you will not be disappointed.
