This is the only way one must do the river cruise !!! It was an amazing experience with AJ’s thrilling drifts and Jack’s super entertaining and informative commentary 😂…. Highly recommend this!
Thanks Jordan you were amazing host guide, I am came from India and without this ride London thrill was in complete 😀 Absolutely amazing and thrilling experience with Thames Rockets! 🚤 The ride was full of excitement, speed, and fun, with fantastic views of London from the River Thames. A special shout-out to Jordan, our guide, who was absolutely brilliant—friendly, energetic, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What a lovely and unforgettable ride! If you're looking for something exciting to do in London, I highly recommend the Thames Rocket speed boat tour. 5/5! 🚤🔥🇬🇧
The speedboat tour was so much fun! Stacy did a fantastic job highlighting London’s sights at night and making the experience entertaining. Charlene did a great job keeping us safe on the water. A fun and memorable way to see London!
My daughter and I went on this trip Stacy and Bill were fantastic and made the experience so much better.. If you are thinking to go, do it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤩 Amazing
We had an amazing time on our Thames Rocket experience. Amelia and Charlene looked after us really well. We learnt lots of interesting facts about the London Landmarks. It was a great way to sight see! The boat itself was comfortable and most importantly for me I didn't get soaking wet I was a bit nervous about the whole experience but it was brilliant can't recommend enough.
Our tour guide Steve and the boat driver Ed were amazing :) they had great humour, told us a good amount of facts and we had a great time with the fast boat and loud music! We were lucky to even see a seal named Harry! Definitely would recommend
Great time with Steve and Charlene would highly recommend
Excellent and fun experience! I would do this experience over and over! Guides were great and fun. Met some fun people to share the experience with.
I would do it again and recommend this for anyone. It’s a legit fast boat ride. They go fast, make exciting turns, you get some good history, and some great laughs. Stacie was our guide and Bill the boat captain. They were fantastic. Thank you !
This is the best corporate activity I have done in 30 years, my got to clients entertainment! So far, 7 times this year. I hire the whole boat each time. Every guide is first class, with first class knowledge and always making the trip interesting and above all fun.
What a fantastic way to experience London! Our Thames Rocket tour started off gently, cruising along the Thames while taking in all the iconic landmarks and enjoying the beautiful sunset and skyline. And then… the skipper opened the throttle! 🚤💨 What followed was an exhilarating burst up the Thames, with the wind in our faces and just the right amount of adrenaline. It was so much fun! A special mention to our tour guides, Sofia and Bill, who were brilliant – friendly, informative and great fun, making the whole experience even better. It’s a little on the pricey side, but as an experience gift it was absolutely worth it. Well organised, exciting and a brilliant way to see our capital city from a completely different perspective. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something a little different to do in London!
Unforgettable experience! This was organised by my very kind Boss. Very well organised tour from beginning to end. A big thank you to Matt and Stacey, who was informative and funny as our tour guide. Once Matt could speed up he surely did with confidence & skill. The music blasting out was a nice touch! Great fun and a must do if you are in London, you won't regret it!
Imogene was great! She was energetic and exuberant. The music was an added bonus.
An amazing experience. I wasn’t expecting this trip to be quite as lively as a white-knuckle ride but after a lovely sedate 20 minutes up the Thames at twilight watching the sun set that’s what it was once they hit the accelerator - 15 or 20 minutes bouncing around on a twisting rollercoaster (definitely not for the faint-hearted!) then the last part back to normal speed with a welcome drink and brilliant and informative commentary from Steve on the sights passing by as we headed back to the pier. Doing this in the evening made for an even more enjoyable ride with the scenery lit up all around. I also must praise the staff who I dealt with on the phone while trying to sort out a trip using a voucher bought through Red Letter Days. RLD were completely useless (the website is clunky, there’s no phone-based customer service, only an unhelpful web chat agent) but Thames Rockets (especially Robban) were brilliant, even responding to my initial enquiry with a personal follow-up email and an offer to run a trip on a non-scheduled day as I was struggling to get everybody in my party together before the voucher expired. The guys on board and at the pier were also friendly and great to deal with. A* from me.
Wonderful at night! Ed and Johnny were brilliant
We had the most amazing time I would definatly recommend this experience to anyone! If you want to see the sights of London with a laugh please do it, we had the most loveliest boat staff, shout out to Geoff and John thank you so much for making my dad feel special on his birthday!!!
Jack was a legend, funny fella and very charming
This was an amazing experience, bought for me and my husband to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The whole operation was efficient from start to finish with some interesting facts about London towards the end.
100 % worth experience I was absolutely positive surprise, crew very friendly and funny and I been in London few times but the guide what them provide was incredible
It was my boyfriend’s birthday and we wanted to do something different and fun while visiting London. We booked the sunset ride and Amelia (?) and Johnny (?) - can’t remember names - were great. The captain made it fun with the quirk turns, entertaining playlist that fit the trip and the tour grade was not only knowledgeable, but very witty and personable! Overall a great time, and they all sang happy birthday to him and the other guest on board who also had a birthday!
Jack and Aj were our crew members and were absolutely brilliant!! The kids loved it and as well as being really interesting it was loads of fun!!
I enjoyed because it was fast and fun. I was excited and thrilled by the whole experience. Our guide (Stacy) was knowledgeable and entertaining.
The best experience i made it I really advise the people's to do it is one of the best experience you can have it the staff is 5 star in special the staff ride the boat Jack and Tom they have also really good knowledge about the history of London
Awesome staff, Imogen as MC was great, charismatic and funny, Jordan on the dock was welcoming and knew his stuff. Great team, thanks for a wicked trip!
Today we went on the Thames rocket speedboards, and it was absolutely first class. I forget the young man who was telling us the main script, and the speedboat driver, But what will say is that it was a fantastic experience, and I would certainly recommend it.
Thames Rockets was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I do not want to spoil the experience for anyone who has not done it yet, but it was far more exciting, fun and memorable than I expected. The whole team were fantastic, full of energy, and made everyone feel safe while still keeping the experience thrilling. Jeff was the main person looking after us, and he was instrumental in making the whole experience so enjoyable. His energy, humour and professionalism really stood out. The boat driver was also outstanding, handling every turn, wave and movement with absolute excellence. You could tell we were in very capable hands throughout. The ride itself was the perfect mix of sightseeing, humour, music and adrenaline. It is one of those London experiences that genuinely feels different from the usual tourist attractions, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to do something fun and unforgettable. An awesome experience and easily one of the highlights of our trip.
Great fun, amazing staff. Definitely recommend
This was an absolutely fantastic experience. It starts with a gentle ride up the Thames with a hilarious commentary from Stacey who gives you the inside track on all of the Thames history and current gossip Then when you get past Tower Bridge, AJ the driver puts on the afterburners White knuckle ride is an understatement, he really gives it some welly and there is lots very tight scary turns at high speed Then on the way back once you hit the mellow section Stacey hands out the drinks A perfect evening on the Thames
What an amazing experience! Max and Bill were absolutely fantastic, such funny, down to earth and knowledgable guys. The sites were so beautiful with the sunset, especially Tower Bridge when the sun set right in the centre. The ride itself was thrilling and perfect for any age, all is us thoroughly enjoyed it and would 100% recommend.
This was a great experience with great views, fun facts and an exciting journey down the thames! The team was great, we had Jay and Alex on our boat, they were both excellent at their jobs and made sure everyone had a great time!
A fantastic experience. We booked the 7pm tour, as I thought the sunset would look spectacular (it was). The family was all flagging after a full day of sightseeing around London; but 50 minutes of high-speed boating picked us all up! Max was a great host (rubbish photo of him, he was literally smiling and joking all of the time). It was a excellent fun tour and the perfect way to finish off a day. Many thanks to Max and Bill!
Great experience, good atmosphere & I really wish I could remember their names but each of the staff on board were amazing!
Had the pleasure of this experience today with Jack and AJ taking care of us on the boat. A sedate ride up to Tower Bridge and then keeping a lid on things until we got past 'the feds' and then the hammer went down and it was an exhilarating blast up past Canary Wharf with some banging music. All too soon we were heading back, again slowing for 'the feds' before another blast up to Tower Bridge. Drinkies were provided on a very enjoyable steady cruise back to our starting point. Absolutely 100% recommended - we WILL be back!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..Amazing Experience🤩 must goo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankyou Joey n John🙌🏻- see you again in Summer time
Booked for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and we loved it! Ben our tour guide brought the energy and it was worth every penny. Great views of the Thames and a very fun experience. I would highly recommend this tour!
It was a rather cold, grey and slightly drizzly day when we did our trip - 4pm in late October - my son and I, and his two kids, ages 7 and 12 respectively. Our guide, Robbie, was excellent. - lots of humour - the first part of the trip was fairly sedate with Robbie pointing out various landmarks and giving a bit of insight. Then, after we had passed under Tower Bridge, the real fun started. There is a very good sensation of speed and plenty of high speed turning which made is very exhilarating, with the speakers blasting out suitable adrenaline-fuelling music. The return journey, with the light fading and many buildings along the Thames illuminated was a different experience but a lovely “wind down” after the exhilaration. The children really enjoyed the trip. It felt well organised with good safety precautions - we were shown how to put on our life jackets correctly before boarding and there were child-sized jackets for the 7-year old. We arrived early so we got seats at the front, which was great. I would strongly suggest warm clothing - layers are good - something with a well fitting hood is fine but don’t wear a hat - I lost my baseball cap in one of the high speed turns! There is a bit of spray, but you don’t get really wet. Excellent trip - thoroughly recommend.
A brilliant trip on the Thames at high speed with a brilliant and friendly crew,Andy and Max,a nice slow trip up the Thames and then it's full power doing twists and turns and then a nice cruise on the way back with a nice commentary on the London sights,a brilliant trip on the Thames 10/10
Fantastic trip! Got to see all the major sites, take amazing pictures, whizz around on the Thames, and hear all about the city from our hilarious and friendly guide Lotta! Would absolutely recommend!
My friend and I went on the Thames Rocket today. Ross was very informative on the London sights. And good fun and AJ steered the boat very well. With great twists and turns. We had a great time. Especially when the speed got up. Great experience. Would definitely recommend. 😇😊😊😊😊
I've done a lot of tourist stuff in so many countries and this is a solid 10/10 What a way to see some of the most famous city sights in the world!! Definitely worth the money. Hold on to your hats!!
Horn Londoner and booked as a gift. Absolutely recommend - 10/10. Fully unique way to see London and great fun on a super safe RIB! Absolutely loved it and recommend thoroughly. Our guide was great. Name forgotten (went in Saturday 2nd August sunset).
Great experience. Gives you a different perspective of London. Break from the walking. Highly recommend ! very professional. You will feel like James Bond.
James was our guide and John was our boat driver. They were both phenomenal! James was very funny and entertaining. They made this experience even better by taking song requests and playing one of our favorite songs! Highly recommend! Probably one of our most favorite experiences in London!
It was an amazing trip. The guide Geoff was great fun as was Bill who drove the boat. My husband and I had lots of laughs and saw some lovely views of London. The high speed boat part was really thrilling. Would definitely go back.
I booked the sunset speed boat experience for my husband’s birthday. It was fantastic. The trip combined slow sections (due to speed limit on the Thames) along famous sites by the river with a thrilling speedy ride after we passed Tower bridge. Great music and free drinks. The best thing was our guide Simon. He could be a comedian! His humour and enthusiasm made sure everyone has a wonderful time!
Our multi-generational family group, including teens, loved the ride with Rocky and Bill. For us the one hour trip was the perfect combination of a bit of history/highlights followed by high speed boating with sharp turns and excitement. Would definitely recommend for other groups!
Really fun & so beautiful at sunset! I highly recommend. The captain & his mate were very welcoming, and entertaining!!
We were lucky enough to go on the sunset tour on a stunning Friday evening. The crew were friendly but professional. We know London quite well but fantastic to see from the Thames and the high speed part was much more exhilarating than I expected. Only suggestion I would make is to offer choice of couple of cocktails.
If you love the excitement of speed, the shaking, the movement and all the splashing then take a trip down the river Thames with the Thames Rockets, the women in our team dreaded it but eventually loved it. The men were OK to start with, but then they all thought it was fun.
