Ted Lasso Filming Locations In Richmond: Private 4-hour Cab Tour

We are huge Ted Lasso fans and the tour did not disappoint. Matt, our guide, is obviously a big fan and his enthusiasm was infectious. To actually stand on the pitch was once in a lifetime experience!

What a beautiful town Richmond is and the guide was very informative! Marc knee a lot of history of London and took us on a quick hop through Notting Hill.

Ollie was a sensational guide. We had so much fun on the tour and got tons of great photos.

We were picked up at our hotel with a pink box of biscuits, of course!!! We proceeded to Richmond and saw everything Ted lasso!!! We had a pint at the bar, we stayed and dined at Scott’s at Rebecca’s table of course!!! Saw Taste of Athens, a little Nottingham Hill while there❤️!!! Also saw the soccer facility, the pitch and were so honored to even meet the groundskeeper hard at work!! It was the perfect day and the highlight of our time in London!!! Our guide Matt was so well versed and enthusiastic!!! We hope to go back some day!!!

Guide was INCREDIBLE! Knowledgeable about all things Ted Lasso but also details, stories and historical facts about all places visited. Can't miss! Highly recommended for fans of the show!!

It depends on your guide … and mine was great! This tour was very interesting and informative. I was unaware that the various sets for the show were so far apart, nor that the show relies on so much CGI! I learned that from Marc, my guide. We were not able to get in the stands at the pitch due to the reluctance of the present ownership. But, I was able to sneak a few photos. “Nate’s restaurant” was very accessible; Sam’s was not. Rebecca’s house on the Green was recognizable but we could not enter. At the alleyway, I fully expected some local to accost me, calling me a (well, you know the British euphemism used in the show). Fully worth the cost, I really enjoyed the experience. Marc made certain to expand my knowledge of the various areas by letting me know where various celebrities lived (or died) as we drove past.

Our tour guide Matt was beyond outstanding! We first saw Sam Obisanya’s restaurant location. (Funny enough, the real Banksy had just erected a surprise statue near there). We then went to “Taste of Athens” in Notting Hill, and so we asked him to show some additional sights from the movie “Notting Hill” and he happily made it happen. The highlight of the trip was an add-on, since the show wasn’t currently filming, and we were able to go to the actual location for the practice field near Heathrow airport. We even met and talked with Derek, the groundskeeper from the show! (the driver when Ted rides the back of the lawnmower). Lastly, we headed to Richmond where we saw the outside of Rebecca’s house, the Theater which was the location of the charity players’ auction, Nate’s parents’ house, Ted’s apartment door, and of course the iconic corner of Richmond Green where the pub, bench, and phone booth are located. Matt gave us the choice of a ride back into London, or to stay and look around. We decided to stay and have lunch at the pub (where there is a small special section of Ted Lasso pictures). The food was very good (especially the fish and chips). We all shared a “Ted and Beard Toast” there. We also shopped at the nearby Ted Lasso store, which had exclusive Bantr team jerseys for sale on the tiny second floor. The cab ride was a well air-conditioned and quiet hybrid London cab and he had a speaker system to make it easy to have a conversation with Matt while he was driving. We even found out he is a former semi-professional football goalie and a fan of West Ham! Totally worth the extra money for a perfect Ted Lasso fan experience! Thanks again Matt!

Our guide Mick was outstanding. He knew the story line very well and answered all of our questions. He knew the places to park and get in and out quickly.

Dave was incredible. He was so knowledgeable about the history and details of all the sites that we saw. I think I retained 30% of all the great information he told us! Dave was super friendly and made sure he took us to places that we would love. If traffic was bad, he knew all the side streets to get around. He is an expert His car—it was amazing. It was super clean inside and out. It looked like it was brand new. The biggest benefit—he has a panoramic roof. A huge advantage when looking at towering buildings around you. Dave does not disappoint. Ask for him specifically

This was a great experience to do with the family. Julie was an amazing guide, went beyond from the beginning to the end of the tour, with surprise shortbread biscuits to extra stops, and longer stay in due to traffic. Very knowledgeable and kept my teenage kids engaged the whole time. Highly recommended to all Fans of the show you won’t be disappointed.

What an awesome day! Dave was our guide and driver and he went above and beyond! He was extremely knowledgeable about Ted Lasso, took us to all the spots and explained each one. He is bought my daughter some of “Ted’s Biscuits” He always made us feel comfortable and asked us if we needed anything. He also told us about some other London history along the way and answered all of our questions. If you have a chance to do this tour - do it! Also ask for Dave because he made the day that much better!

I enjoyed Ted Lasso show so much that we took the walking tour and it was fun! We saw s o many of the spots where the show was filmed and were given a lot of interesting info. behind the show.

Paula was fantastic…knowledgeable about Ted Lasso and all of London. Thoughtful stops tailored to what we asked for beyond Ted. Highly recommend. Only semi-drawback (my own fault) be prepared for where Richmond is compared to your hotel location in the city. Traffic does not move fast anywhere. Regardless, Paula filled the time with great information and extra effort. Well worth the time and money

The traffic was tough that afternoon so she went beyond the time we were supposed to end and even let us take time to have a snack and a drink in the pub. We enjoyed our day!

Our guide, Julie, was fantastic! She was friendly and knowledgeable. Loved seeing many Richmond and London locations from the show: The pub, the park, practice pitch, character residences and restaurants.

We absolutely loved the Ted Lasso Richmond tour! Our tour guide Ollie was amazing and very entertaining. He had great stories and was very personable and knowledgeable about Ted Lasso. A highlight was visiting the pub and having a pint there. The tour was well worth the time and money. I highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Ollie as a tour guide.

What a fun day! Michael was such a fun guide who is clearly very experienced in the art of making a guided trip feel fun and comfortable. We were extra lucky that production was near many of our sites for the upcoming filming of Season 4. We are so thankful we took the time to take this tour to Richmond!

This tour was just fantastic! Michael picked us up at our hotel in a modern black cab and returned us there after. We had time to have a drink in the neighborhood pub and got to see tons of Ted Lasso sites. It inspired us to rewatch the series as well! Michael was an outstanding, knowledgeable, fun tour guide!

Paula took us to all the sites of Ted Lasso. Her car was nice and clean. We had great conversations she even recommended a restaurant that was fantastic.

The tour was amazing. Our guide Tony was wonderful. He was a fellow fan of Ted Lasso himself and that made the tour even more delightful. He took photos of us, sprinkled in some history lessons and even stopped to see the Tardis when he found out I was a Dr. Who fan. I highly recommend this tour! It was a perfect day in Richmond.

Julie was fantastic to tour around the city. She brought us pink boxes with biscuits as Ted Lasso did in the show. It was is kind and unexpected which made our experience even better. She also accommodated and took us to visit other film locations from the movie “Notting Hill.” She knew the Ted Lasso show very well and made the tour fun by engaging us with guessing games about the scene with the location. Great tour and service. Julie went far and beyond having a cooler in the cab with cold bottle of water to keep us hydrated during our adventure. I totally recommend the black cabs and Julie!

Our driver Matt was amazing, he took special care of our group and is a Ted Lasso fan as well which made things extra fun! I wish we had done the tour earlier in our stay so we could have booked another tour with him.

If you're a fan of Ted Lasso, this tour is an absolute must! From the start, we were impressed by the level of detail and passion our guide, Matt, brought to the experience. He was incredibly friendly, well-versed in both the show and Richmond's local history, and made sure we saw every key location with enthusiasm. We appreciated how Matt personalized the tour, ensuring we got to visit all the filming spots we were hoping for while making it fun and informative. The black cab was comfortable, clean, and a great way to get around. Highly recommend this tour, especially if Matt is your guide!

We took this tour because my oldest is a fanatic about the show and we did another Black cabby tour in Edinburgh before London. This tour was amazing, I also loved it as a part time watcher and Richmond itself is beautiful. Our driver knew so many details and brought the place some fantastic energy. highly recommend this tour, such an iconic way to explore too

The TED LASSO tour was a blast--especially if you manage to get Anthony Podowski as your Black Cab Driver/Host. This tour was all-inclusive--by which I mean it covered virtually a drive thru or a stop and hop-out all over London. I can't begin to provide you with all the stops but to give you an idea we walked where Ted and Coach headed out to work each morning:::JUST around the corner is Mae's Crown & Anchor pub and not too far down the next few roads and around a couple of corners and Tony got us to: Ola's Restaurant! We also visited Mediterraneo in Notting Hill--which in the show we know as the Taste of Athens restaurant. There was SO MUCH more we could talk about but we know you get the idea. This is truly a GREAT way to spend a good portion of your day traversing all over London! We highly recommend this tour and we ALSO highly recommend that you book it with Tony Podowski as your cabbie/host. Tony not only 'does' Lasso really well but also London highlights that included a shop open since the 1400's to Jimmy Page's house...not so dramatic but we can say we drove past Jimmy's 'bungalow', right?

We just completed the Ted Lasso tour with Tony and it was spectacular! We traveled from New York and weren’t huge Ted Lasso fans but Tony’s energy and enthusiasm was contagious. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Tony was so kind and easy to chat with throughout the tour. Tony added many historical facts throughout the tour as well so we were able to learn so much more about London and see so many parts that were not crowded with tourists. We got a real feel for London and Richmond. I couldn’t recommend Tony more, he was truly the highlight of the tour!

Julie was our tour guide for an amazing afternoon tour of places seen in the Ted Lasso series. Riding in her comfortable white traditional taxi, we saw sights from many locations in the show, with Julie filling us in with “remember the scene where…” . Julie walked with us to many sights in and around Richmond, where we enjoyed a pint in the infamous pub. We were able to go into the football stadium in Richmond, and enjoyed the stops at the two locations for restaurants seen in the show. The tour with Julie was an incredible experience that we continue to enjoy as we rewatch the Ted Lasso series again, looking for the sights we saw on the trip. Thanks you Julie for the fun day, and the pink box of biscuits!

Richard was a very personable tour guide. We could tell he had spent a significant amount of time putting this tour together. In addition to the film sights, Richard weaves a bit of Richmond history into his talk. This is a very easy 30 minute Underground ride from Victoria Station to Richmond. Afterwards you can spend some time in the town which is really charming. As an added bonus you can have lunch at the Pub. A must for Ted Lasso fans!
