- Sip carefully crafted cocktails at some of Soho’s hottest bars;
Join a small group of fellow curious eaters and a local expert guide for an evening spent wandering Soho's colourful streets, where every corner has a story. You'll hear tales of centuries of glitz, glamour and decadence, from the aristocrats who first built the grand townhouses to the waves of immigrants who transformed them into something far more interesting. Discover how Karl Marx penned revolutionary ideas from a cramped flat on Dean Street, how Charles Dickens wove Soho into his novels, and how the neighbourhood's music clubs once played host to Louis Armstrong, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles and David Bowie.
On a carefully planned route through the most interesting eateries in Soho, you will step into the world's oldest Chinatown to try one of its most iconic bites, then continue your edible tour of the globe without ever leaving the neighbourhood. You’ll soon see how Soho's streets hold generations of immigrant communities, from Italian delis to French patisseries to Greek tavernas, each one adding its own flavour to the mix. Along the way, you'll piece together how this small patch of London became one of the most deliciously multicultural corners of the city.
No evening in Soho is complete without a proper drink, and your guide knows exactly where to find one. You’ll enjoy several expertly crafted cocktails at some of the neighbourhood's most sought-after bars. Over roughly three hours, weaving through Soho, Chinatown and Seven Dials, you'll taste, sip and explore your way through one of London's most fascinating neighbourhoods, leaving with a full stomach, a few new favourite bars, and stories you'll be retelling long after you've left London behind.
