This was a great tour with Tara and John and great tips! Good idea to get there really early to beat the crowd and then go counter clockwise around the circle to get the views closest to the stones before the crowd.

Very interesting tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Very patient driver too! The time allocated was perfect.
Overall, a good experience with London Tours. Everything ran on time, and the trip was well organised. The bus was fairly average, not particularly comfortable, but not uncomfortable either and I appreciated having charging ports at the seats. The tour guide was friendly, although as someone who generally prefers exploring independently rather than taking group tours, I found some of the commentary a little excessive. At times, it felt like he was talking simply to fill the silence, and only some of the information felt relevant or added much to the experience. One thing I would have appreciated knowing in advance was that there would be a stop at a service station along the way, where we could purchase breakfast and refreshments. Since the tour started early, that would have been helpful information when planning the morning. The trip was a convenient way to get there from London. With a little more practical information beforehand and slightly more focused commentary, the experience could have been even better.
What a great experience! We last minute booked this excursion. Only to find out when we arrived to the bus that we had booked it incorrectly for the next day, and this bus was full. The tour guide, Trisha, was so sweet and proactive. She instantly contacted the other bus (the Stonehenge and Oxford tour option) and not only got us a seat on it, but called them to get them to turn around and come get us. Sam, the tour guide for THAT tour, was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. We loved chatting with him every chance we got. It was such a great, magical day. The Stonehenge was just as we always dreamed it would be, and Oxford was such a lovely, unexpected addition to our day. We even ran into Trisha at one of the stops, who wad so happy to see us and relieved we were able to be there. We highly recommend this company and their tours, and would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Sam, and Trisha, for such a magical day!
Slow pace and relaxing. Provided enough information about tour and wasn’t overwhelming. Easy pace. Highly recommend.
The entire day was good. Dress in layers, it's a little windy. Go as early as possible because it gets very busy
Our tour guide Louise did a great job with the history and background on the 2 hour ride to the Stonehenge. We felt we had plenty of time to enjoy the site, and we were fortunate to have picture perfect weather. Highly recommend!
The morning trip from London to Stonehenge was excellent. Everything went off on time and our tour guide, Sinead and the driver John were excellent as well. Sinead was very informative and very personable and fun. Stonehenge is a beautiful historical place and the drive out from London in the early morning, viewing the English countryside, was well worth the drive.
Transportation was perfect, Gil the guide friendly and efficient. Made for a perfect experience . Highly recommended
Would definitely recommend! Sinead and driver John were great, Sinead gave great detail to attractions along the way. The bus was very comfortable and offered charging stations for phones. Trip provided one stop from London to Stonehenge. Early morning departure allowed for fewer crowds.
Great bus ride, great guides. Go early, fewer people at Stonehenge. Highly recommended tour, fun day.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. excellent tour and definitely worth it. Very educational.
Gabriel was excellent. My bucket list has now been checkmarked. Recommend this to everyone visiting and be amazed
Very nice tour to Stonehenge . Leaves early to beat the crowds which was the best part. Arrived back in London at 2 pm and still had the afternoon to sightsee.
Well organized, perfect trip. Too many tourists hamming it up taking funny photos for my taste. It is a holy site, what if we went to another country and disrespected a temple or a cathedral? Would that be OK? Silent reverence should be mandatory.
Absolutely worth the early time-slot to have the rest of the day to continue the adventure after. Both guide Giles and bus driver Robert were incredible the whole time. Very informative and wonderful energy! 10/10 experience
Full morning and early afternoon round trip to historically interesting site. Rainy day so bus trip through the English countryside not very interesting. Glad we finally got to see it.
It was great and well-organized. Our guide, Tiger, was very informative. We enjoyed the museum as well.
Paulina and our driver were both amazing. It was the perfect amount of time for a half-day tour. The trip was great. I absolutely loved it.
On time, professional and plenty of time to tour and eat and enjoy the scenes. Tour guide was very nice and the drive was great
Nice day trip from London, just enough hours . Easy to find the meeting place. Giles our guide was great!
This tour was so well organized, the tour guide and bus driver were spot on all day. I did not feel rushed. The tour guide interacted with everyone Shari g good anecdotes along the way.
What an incredible experience! Visiting Stonehenge has always been something I wanted to do, and this tour made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well organised, from the journey to the arrival, and we had plenty of time to take in the amazing history and beauty of the site. Stonehenge itself was absolutely breathtaking, it’s one of those places that you really have to see in person to appreciate. The tour was informative, enjoyable, and stress-free, making it perfect for anyone visiting for the first time. A huge thank you to the team for making our trip so memorable. Definitely a must-do experience when visiting England! 🪨✨🇬🇧
A great day. Guide was good during bus ride. Otherwise you are on your own. It’s worth the time it takes to drive from London
It was excellent! Fraya and Ed were punctual, knowledgeable, kind and all around good tour guides. We were so grateful to have pick up and drop off transportation, also to have time to see the stones and to use the two hours how we best saw fit. It was truly a great overall experience! If you have learned about or are curious about Stonehenge, this tour would be a good one to do!
Freya was an outstanding guide. She gave us the perfect blend of information and relaxing time on the bus. She had us well prepared for what we saw at the site. Stonehenge did not disappoint. What a fantastic experience!
Loved this tour! Our guide was very friendly. Meeting point was easy to find. We were able to enjoy Stonehenge for two hours. We were dropped off in the same spot. Our guide shared history and recommendations. All around wonderful experience.
I accidentally booked two adults and two seniors and Emily our guide caught it at the coach before we left for Stonehead and said she would notify the office. I contacted the office via email regarding my refund and have not had any response and highly disappointed because the tour was really nice.
I had the opportunity to join this tour to Stonhenge on a chilly and misty Thursday morning. I was met at the bus by a very energetic Daisy. She puts out the positive vibes and you will feel them the whole trip. The tour starts early (bus leaves at 7:30) and they are serious about timelines. The trip out of London took a while due to rush hour traffic, but Daisy regaled us with bits of history and funny stories to help make the time pass. Once out of the city we cruised for about a half an hour before stopping at a service station (rest area in the States), which was good timing as the coach had no onboard toilet. After a brief respite, we hopped back on the bus and journeyed onward. Upon arriving at Stonhenge's visitor center, Daisy laid out the plan of attack and led us along the way. She kept us moving in the correct direction, got us on the shuttle, and helped people take pictures at the site. Great guide, this Daisy. Now, whether you are moved by Stonehenge or whether you think it's just a bunch of rocks, this is not a reflection on the operation of this tour. On all fronts the tour delivered what it promised. We were given 2 hours at the site, which is plenty of time to see it from all angles (and I did). I took many pictures, including one I feel is the best of my entire trip. After spending a lot of time at the site, I got back on the shuttle and explored the visitor's center. There is a decent cafe where I had a surprisingly tasty Cornish pasty. There is also a very well-stocked gift shop. There is something at all price ranges and you're at Stonehenge - you need a souvenir. The ride back was uneventful and Daisy let us have our quiet time until we returned to London, where she made activity and food suggestions. I had a great time on this tour. You should absolutely do it.
Dress in layers, and if you need more, I purchase a hoodie and T shirt for reasonable prices in the gift shop. This trip was a birthday gift to myself, it did not disappoint!
It’s a long ride but the bus is comfortable and the guides are great! Seeing Stonehenge in person was incredible!
Sinead the guide was brilliant and obviously knew her stuff . She made the trip easy and was full of informations
This was such a fun adventure. From pick-up to drop-off everything was stress free! Giles was super informative and helpful. So glad we did this.
A wonderful trip! Freya was an excellent guide. She gave us lots of information about both London and Stonehenge. Plenty of time to explore Stonehenge and the visitor center.
The Guide Emily and driver Michelle were both amazing. If this is on your bucket list please do this tour.
Weather could be much different in the countryside so take that into consideration when planning for your trip
What an amazing experience! We reveled in the history and pondered all of the conspiracy theories as to how these massive, perfectly shaped boulders made their way to this location and in this formation. Not only how, but why.. why here when the stone used originate from such far away, seemingly unrelated places. Truly astonishing!
The half day tour was perfect - our guide Emily was extremely knowledgeable and a good sport - we spent enough time on the site and never felt rushed or uncomfortable in any way - I’d do it again
This excursion was worth every penny. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested. Smooth drive and plenty of time to explore and take pictures.
Easy journey on a comfortable bus. Fiona our guide and ‘Ruon’ our driver were great. Loved that there was a rest stop scheduled as well as time to sleep. By my watch we departed five minutes late. Must be a difficult decision to make if not all travelers are at the departure place at the expected time. It is akin to the theatre, ie, when certain patrons know you will accommodate late arriving, they will learn to take advantage and inconvenience those of us that follow the rules.
It was a perfect amount of time to see Stonehenge, get some history as your are leaving London and see the countryside. It was great value for the cost.
Wonderful guide and a perfect 1/2 day spent outside of London. Well worth the time, and our guide Phoebe was AMAZING, she shared wonderful history and engaging stories. It was a beautiful day and well worth the time outside of the city. The sheep were a lovely surprise too.
The tour was very organized and organizers were friendly & Dedicated time was enough to roam around.
Daisy was entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. She brought great energy to the long bus ride. The time spent at Stonehenge was more than sufficient.
We had a fantastic half-day tour to Stonehenge with Giles as our tour guide and Michelle as our driver. They were both absolutely wonderful and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Giles was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He shared lots of fascinating history and interesting stories about Stonehenge, while also giving us plenty of time to explore and enjoy the site at our own pace. His passion and enthusiasm really brought the history to life. Michelle was an excellent driver—professional, friendly, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Together, Giles and Michelle made the tour smooth, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. We highly recommend them to anyone visiting Stonehenge. Thank you both for a memorable experience!
Freya was wonderful and knowledgeable, very friendly and accommodating. Ask her about the magical lore of Stonehenge for a bonus history lesson.
Great tour! Guide was informative, driver was great, fantastic overall experience! Would recommend!!
Shareed and Stuart provided a wonderful half day tour to Stonehenge from London. Pick up point was easy to get to. We were able to drink our coffees and have cold food on the comfortable coach. The air on the coach was comfortable. The ride to Stonehenge was about two hours and they offered a bathroom stop part of the way there which was nice. Shareed shared her vast knowledge on both Stonehenge, but other London attractions. She is an expert tour guide. We had plenty of time at Stonehenge to enjoy the site, museum and cafe. Everything operated on time. We had plenty of time to plan activities back in London later in the day which was nice. Would highly recommend this tour!
I enjoyed this tour as I did not want to spend a full day out of the city. This was just the right amount and our guide did a great job of giving us information and also letting us rest on our ride to and from Stonehenge. Stonehenge was definitely worth seeing and I found it truly magical. Bring your umbrella, we got caught by a rain shower and I had to buy an expensive poncho for my run back to the bus.
Louise was an amazing tour guide, along with the amazing driver Terry. Louise not only explains the facts and history of Stonehenge, she also talks a lot about London and England facts. And she jokes a lot!
