Stonehenge And Windsor Tours From London Or Southampton

I am a travel advisor who booked a tour with Cab My Ride for my clients (a family of 4) traveling from the Southampton cruise port to Stonehenge, Windsor and then on to their hotel in London. The tour description was extremely misleading. Even though I provided the luggage details at the time of booking, there was not enough room for their luggage and the driver denied having the info regarding the number of luggage pieces they were traveling with. Further, the car was supposed to be a 6-seater minivan per the tour details, however, the vehicle was a 5-seater extended Prius. Her husband had to sit with a suitcase on his lap for the entirety of their transport. Also, there was no wifi onboard even though the description indicates that's included. It was extremely disappointing, and honestly unacceptable, that the tour details do not accurately depict the experience that my client and her family dealt with. My request for even a partial refund was denied. I will no longer book with this tour operator and strongly advise against using them!

We booked this transfer several months before our trip, and everything went exactly as planned. Communication with the company was excellent from the very beginning. As soon as we booked, they emailed to let us know that Windsor Castle would be closed on the day of our tour. We really appreciated the heads-up, especially since we were traveling all the way from the U.S. Even though the castle was closed, we still wanted to stop in Windsor to walk around, get photos of the castle, and have lunch, so we kept it on our itinerary. Our Airbnb was inside London's Congestion Charge Zone, and they explained there would be an additional £18 Congestion Charge. They emailed us an invoice, we paid it ahead of time, and everything was taken care of before our travel day. The whole process was simple and transparent. We had already reserved lunch at The Two Brewers in Windsor and purchased timed-entry tickets for Stonehenge. I emailed them both reservation times, and they planned our day around them. We arrived in Windsor with plenty of time to explore, enjoyed a relaxing lunch, and still made it to Stonehenge right on schedule. It couldn't have worked out better. Our driver, Shaun, was wonderful. He arrived exactly on time, helped with all of our luggage, and immediately made us feel comfortable. There were five of us traveling with quite a bit of luggage, so the company sent an 8-passenger minibus. It was the perfect size, with plenty of room for everyone and all of our bags. We also happened to be visiting during one of England's hottest weeks, and I have to give the van's air conditioning a shout-out. After walking around Windsor and Stonehenge in the heat, climbing back into a nice cool van was the best feeling. The vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and made the drive to Southampton really enjoyable. Shaun was friendly, easy to talk to, and never made us feel rushed. He was happy to answer questions, made sure we stayed on schedule, and turned what could have been just a transfer into a really enjoyable part of our vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to book with this company again. Everything was organized exactly as promised, and Shaun made the day even better. If you're looking for a comfortable, stress-free way to get from London to Southampton while visiting Windsor and Stonehenge, I highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with our driver. He picked us up on time, was very helpful and when he dropped us off at the two sites-Stonehenge and Windsor Castle- he was very clear about when and where he would pick us up. We never felt rushed. Even though it wasn’t a tour, he was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to answer our questions or tell us other interesting bits of information. It was an easy drop off at Heathrow airport too. Would definitely recommend this!

Reliable transfer service. If looking for a tour or good information about the area, this is not for that. This is more of a taxi service. As long as you know what you’re getting, It works well. Driver was nice and courteous, and on time. the dispatch coordinators also went above and beyond to help me with my questions itinerary that involved buying tickets for Stonehenge and Windsor Castle..

Had the best time, driver was on time, very pleasant, knowledgeable, we had great conversation about the different locations and other places in the UK to visit in the future.

About stone hinge ? It’s ok. It was on our bucket list. So we are glad we checked it off. It’s just too far of a drive from London. Our driver Ian was great and made the trip pleasant. Nice comfortable ride. .

Our driver, Fergus was phenomenal! He is very engaging and willing to share information. We enjoyed his company on the drives. Definitely recommend this company and driver. Just be aware that this excursion is for driving only and doesn’t include admission. It’s posted but escaped me until the tour company reminded me.

The driver was extremely friendly, but he was 20 minutes late because of traffic, although it did not affect our tour time because we were early it still would be better if the ride came when we expected it to. he worked hard to find us the best possible spaces, and ensure that we were comfortable. I also expected the vehicle to be a little bit more luxurious essentially it was a cab.

Constantin offered a prompt, smooth pickup and return. Was very friendly and provided bottled water. Would definitely recommend.

Ian was wonderful. He was an excellent driver and conversationalist . We lived both Stonehenge and Windsor Castle.

This was wonderful! Really the best way to do this very long day! We were picked up from our hotel in a private air-conditioned comfortable car. The drive to Stonehenge is quite long and this made the experience much better. Our driver, Ian, was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and we were able to chat with him on the trip. The communication was great! While we were on our own at Stonehenge, we were able to contact Ian and he brought the car back to us when we were ready after we ate lunch. It was quite a hot day 33°C and having the air conditioned car was amazing. I can’t imagine being on a huge bus full of dozens of people in this heat. He then drove us to Windsor Castle. Again, he dropped us off at a perfect spot and let us go at our own pace. he even brought his toffee and mints and bottled water for the ride. The company does not provide tickets to Stonehenge or Windsor, but those are easily purchased online. Just make sure you have plenty of time between the two events as it is quite a drive. Then returned through terrible London traffic to our hotel at the end of a wonderful day. I highly recommend the store and I highly recommend Ian as your driver.!

The drive to Stonehenge is long and not very interesting. I wouldn't say it's worth it overall as it's a bit underwhelming. Our driver (Ashley) made the trip interesting with stories and jokes. Similarly, Windsor was nothing to write home about and they don't allow photos which is ridiculous.

Ian was fantastic. From the time he picked us up at the airport to the time he dropped us off at our hotel he was patient accommodating and just wonderful very pleasant and worked with our schedule allowing us plenty of time to see everything we wanted to see at Windsor and Stonehenge so glad we booked this trip. We highly recommend!!!

We had an excellent time on this tour. Our driver, Ian, was excellent and took great care of us. He made sure we were comfortable in our car and talked us through what to expect at Stonehenge. We had a great time at Stonehenge and would highly recommend this tour.

Extremely poorly organized tour. We booked a spot on the day it self and they asked us to wait till 1:30 pm for our driver. Then we agreed and the driver was late. After which by the time we got to stone henge after Windsor castle it was closed. Very poorly organized. If we had known it would be closed then they should have let us know so we wouldn't book. After which they didn't reply us and rejected our refund. Without any contact!!! Very badly organized for the amount of money paid and ridiculous. Never ever book with them

Super impressed with this tour and our driver and guide Ian. We were able to specify pick up times at our hotel, which was wonderful. Windsor Castle and Stonehenge were amazing to see. Ian was very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Ian was our driver and was absolutely wonderful. This was a great way to visit these destinations on our schedule versus a large tour’s schedule. Would don’t again, 100%
