Stonehenge & Bath Private Day Tour From London

Ray was great and informative! We are a group of 3 elderly adults and Ray patient with our pace. Wonderful experience the we highly recommend.

Fantastic experience! Ray was a great guide. He was so knowledgeable about the Roman Baths and Stonehenge. He knew some of our interests and took us to a few extra sites. Also found us a great pub for lunch in a quaint town. Definitely a tour to take.

Raymond was very knowledgeable and helpful and interesting to listen to. He made good accommodations for one of our guest’s mobility limitations.

London Black Taxi Tour is just the best. If I could give them more than five stars I would. My wife and I had three tours with them. One to Stonehenge, one driving tour of London and one a walking tour of London. Ray was our driver to Stonehenge and was able to bring to llfe the monument for us. Not only that, but his care about giving us the best possible experience caused us to see and learn far more than we ever expected. Graham was our guide in London and he is just a fountain of knowledge. He knew the buildings, not all of which are labeled, and placed them in the history of London. We had a special treat in that Graham is a registered guide for St, Paul's Cathedral. Wow is all I can say. We are already considering a return trip - there is just so much to see in the general London area, and know that London Black Taxi Tour will be a part of our planning and trip. Can't say enough good things about them Thank you to Ray and Graham.

Stonehenge was amazing, Bath was a bit crowded for my taste but otherwise great as well. Our guide Ray was excellent, very knowledgeable and extremely personable. We throughly enjoyed the tour.

Our tour operator Barry Ivens could not have been better! He was very informative and great fun! He took lots of pics for us and made our excursion very special. We especially appreciated that Barry engaged with everyone in our small group at different times and all together. I would definitely recommend this tour! It was definitely worth the expense.

Frank was friendly and knowledgeable. That said, he doesn’t tailor the tour for the guest’s interests, he tailors it for his own interests. And a 10 hour day in a taxi is not comfortable. The least enjoyable of the three private day tours we did.

Barry was terrific!! We enjoyed learning about both Stonehedge and Bath in an engaging way. Can't wait to return to book a different tour with him.

We had the most amazing time with our guide Terry. He was punctual and really made sure to tailor our experience in Stonehenge and Bath. He was a great source of info for Stonehenge and even brought educational materials. He also tailored our experience in Bath to our family’s requests. Very personable and a wealth of knowledge. I had an excellent experience with Sean as my driver and tour guide. I was picked up from my hotel in london in a black taxi van for the today. We managed to visit the city of Bath, where we visited the Roman Baths, walk around the city (Royal crescent, Putleney Bridge, etc.). Next we drove to Stonehenge but took a drive through the picturesque towns in Somerset. At Stonehenge, we managed to skip the long queue and go directly to the site. Sean managed to know the sites, history, and short cuts to make your day trip highly enjoyable and rewarding. Highly recommended.

We decided to do a private tour vs. a bus tour so it was a more intimate, flexible experience. Andy was our driver and he was wonderful! Prompt on the pickup, and extremely friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. He engaged with my husband and I, as well as our teenage sons on a variety of topics about London, the areas we were driving through, and sports. He provided great tips and suggestions at each of our destinations, as well as recommendations on things in London. On our way back from Bath (which is a long stretch) he was able to swing a quick 15min stop at Windsor Castle so we could see if up close and get a pic! I would definitely use Andy again for the tour outside of London or within the city. Totally worth the extra cost to not be on a bus with 40 other people on a tight timeline. Thank you Andy!!

Wonderful private tour with our guide Frank. He was the consummate tour guide, chalked full of knowledge, extremely sociable and … FUN!!!! Seeing Stonehenge firsthand was fascinating, supplemented with Franks details of the site. Bath was equally impressive, beautiful. We were able to sneak into a less populated pub to eat lunch, by far best meal we’ve had on holiday! Highly recommend!!

Raymond’s knowledge of the history and area was remarkable. An added bonus was he was fun! The van was clean and comfy. There were plenty of stops for refreshments and bathroom breaks. We would highly recommend Raymond and plan to hire him in the future. Perfect day! Thank you, Raymond.

We had a great time! Our driver Frank picked us up from our hotel and took us to Stonehenge- he provided a great personal tour and showed us plenty of things we would have missed otherwise! In Bath, he had arranged lunch for us. He was patient and very kind & accomodating.

Frank was our guide and he was awesome. We had a wonderful private tour-2 adults, 2 kids ages 13 & 10. It was all day but went by very fast and we learned a ton of interesting information. Highly recommend this tour.

Ray was amazing. We spent several days with him and could not have been happier. We explored Stonehenge, Bath, 6 to 7 towns in the Cotswolds, Windsor Castle and much more. Ray gave us tons of recommendations for restaurants and things to do around town. Bottom line is hiring a tour guide from this company elevated our experience in London 1,000% over if we had done all this ourselves or gone the tour bus route. Our driver Frank O'Beirne is a gentleman. This was a private tour for my wife and I. His knowledge and history of the locations made the entire day super enjoyable. Highly recommend him and Black Taxi, everything from booking / scheduling to the actual tour was perfect.

Our day with Ray was the highlight of our trip to England. Our tour of Windsor Castle and Stonehenge was amazing because of Ray's knowledge and humor.
