Stonehenge & Bath Day Trip From London

Viator canceled the tour, however the tour offered as a replacement was good. We choose a 2 event tour (Bath & Stonehenge) to spend more time at each site. The 3 event tour option (Windsor-Stonehenge-Bath) is run-run-run, and ugh—-Drive-drive-drive. Spent an average of an hour+ at each site; that’s ~4 hours exploring and 8 hours driving. All that said, our tour guide(Manon-sp?) and driver(Patrick) were great. Recommendation: If you want to explore then opt for a 2 event v. a 3-event tour. The challenge: All 3 events are worthwhile and worth a visit.

We had a wonderful experience on our Stonehenge and Bath tour! Both destinations were beautiful and fascinating, offering a perfect combination of history, culture, and sightseeing. Stonehenge was truly impressive to see in person, while Bath was charming, with its stunning architecture and historic streets. The tour was well organized, and the transportation made it convenient to visit both destinations in one day. It was a memorable experience and a great way to explore more of England beyond London. Highly recommended for anyone interested in history, beautiful scenery, and discovering some of England’s most iconic landmarks! Phil was an AMAZING GUIDE! He was teaching us from the moment the bus started moving. We learned so much about the area of SW England, the burial mounds, the facts and theories about Stonehenge and later Bath. Then we learned more on the way home. The man was a wealth of charm and knowledge. Our bus driver Lucian was very skilled. An absolute great day!!

A fabulous day. Phil our tour guide (Evans Evans Tours).was so knowledgeable & funny too. He gave tips on what to do in Bath once we had finished our Roman Baths tour - walk to Pultenay Brudge & The Royal Crescent - we managed to squeeze this all in & have lunch too & but my fridge magnets. The journey flew by with him pointing out landmarks along the way. I learnt so much & will definitely be booking another tour. Lucian our driver was fantastic too - a very smooth journey.

A very nice relaxing drive to Stonehenge followed by Bath….. we all enjoy seeing the rolling hills and countryside. Our tour guide was Jes and he was very good and attentive to everyone’s needs. Highly recommend!

They canceled my tour of Stonehenge and Bath and put me on a tour that included those two plus Windsor for the same price on the same day. Good tour but we had about an hour in each place so bring your own food. Pablo was an amazing tour guide!

Good way to get a taste of Bath and Stonehenge. Simon was quite funny but I also appreciated his organization and no nonsense approach to logistics.

Mel was fantastic full of humour throughout Our trip! He was very knowledgeable throughout our coach journey to and from our destinations. He took us to a few different spots in Bath’s centre and shared some of the history before we explored for a couple of hours (we did the Roman baths which is very cool) Definitely recommend this trip and you’ll be extra lucky to have Mel as your guide!

This was a wonderful experience! Mel was so knowledgeable and funny, we couldn't imagine a better experience. The pacing was great, plenty of time for what you are looking for. The Roman Baths tour can be long if you go to every exhibit, but it's not necessary for the tour itself. I'd recommend the Stonehenge + Bath tour like we had, especially if you plan to eventually visit Bath on your own afterwards. You can use the tour to see where you'd like to go while visiting the main attractions, then come back to really take in all it has to offer!

This was an absolutely lovely and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Our guide, Mel, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and charming. We greatly enjoyed Stonehenge (it also helped that it was a gorgeous sunny fall day — what luck!). The amount of time allotted for our stay at Stonehenge (a little over 90 minutes) was perfect! Bath was amazing! So charming and accessible. Had a fabulous lunch and then enjoyed spending the balance of our time taking in the all of the beauty of Bath on a spectacularly fall day. The coach rise itself was comfortable and very smooth. All in all, a terrific day away from the bustle of London into beautiful Western England. We highly recommend this tour. Excellent value and definitely worth our time.

Mel was a great tour guide! He kept us interested, shared great stories, historical information and ran a well organized trip! Evan Evans tour operator was very organized at the Victoria Coach Station and we departed on time. The trip of Stonehenge and Bath was a busy day with plenty of time at Stonehenge but felt a little rushed at Bath. If you're thinking of boiking the tour with Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath trying to cram them all in one day...STOP! Just do the two locations. It was a great day, great tour and great guide!

A must-do trip to add on to your London experience! As a family of 6, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring Stonehenge and the Roman baths of Bath….. hoping to return to explore more in the near future! Wonderful experience visiting Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath. Weather was perfect, bus was comfortable and our guide did a great job directing us and filling in stories about the various places we visited

Our booking was for just Bath and Stonehenge but that had operational issues so Evan Evans offered us a different tour that included Windsor Castle (that started an hour earlier than we initially had). Anyway, they communicated in advance and the swap was appreciated and handled seamlessly. Anna (our guide) was very good at keeping us on time and providing some info on the sites. The tour did have long travel sessions (not a complaint, just reality as the sites are far apart) and she supplied some great info as we passed through interesting areas. Mike (our driver) handled an unexpected road closure on the back to London seamlessly. There was also an unexpected tube line closure so they added an extra stop in London to allow people in different areas easier access to getting back to our hotels - much appreciated. For visiting Stonehenge, there is an app you can download to provide audio insights, would have been much happier knowing this ahead of time.

This was an informative and interesting tour through the western area of England. Our tour guide Andy Jackson kept us entertained with witty with real facts about the places we visited. He was so knowledgeable as well as friendly amd engaging. Highly recommend both Andy and this trip.

Met with each traveler to see if they had any questions on how to get back to their hotel after the tour. Gave his recommendations on where to eat in Bath... great restaurant. Timing of tour was perfect.
