I booked my experience for August 2025 and I arrived in London the evening before. Due to the distance I had to book a hotel for 2 nights. On the morning of my experience I received an email saying that due to unforeseen circumstances my experience was cancelled. Although extremely disappointing, I accepted the apology and booked a new date in October. I was offered compensation for a nights hotel due to my inconvenience which was duly accepted. As my October experience approached, I had emailed imagine on numerous occasions asking for my promised compensation as I wanted to put it towards my new date and travel arrangements and was repeatedly promised that “it was being processed “. I booked a rail ticket for my new date and decided to travel to my experience and back in a day. On the evening before my new date, once again I was told it was cancelled. I also received another apology and offered compensation for my rail travel along with a credit towards another experience as a goodwill gesture. Once again I accepted and once again no payment was forthcoming despite me chasing on numerous occasions. Emails often ignored for days or completely. I have had no option but to pursue some compensation through the small claims court and upon receiving the intention email, suddenly I started to receive detailed prompt response from imagine. So they do read emails you send, As outlined by other reviews, Anaa is very polite during early exchanges, however she is never forthcoming with the truth or indeed follows up on promises, becoming very defensive when challenged. This business is a scam. Save your money, time and energy and stay away. Utter shambles. Disgraceful customer service. Shameful.

Picture this for an experience: you’re a spy, you’re about to start your mission, and you get an email about 20 hours before the event you’ve traveled thousands of miles for… “The event is canceled for “unforeseen circumstances.” well, at least their cancellations are covert. So after paying for flights, hotel, and arranging an expensive babysitting service, Imagine cancels the event with less than a day's notice. So little notice that I can’t cancel the expensive hotel babysitter as it’s less than 24 hours' notice. It’s ok, don’t worry; I’ll foot the bill for that and for anything else messed up by imagine. I would strongly recommend against making plans with this company. It is the height of unprofessionalism to cancel something, with no reason given and with less than a days notice. Their solution? “Oh hey if you’re ever in the UK again you can come by for free” wow that’s great let me just take time off work, book flights arrange childcare again to take the chance that they might provide an experience. Look elsewhere fellow tourists, because you get a Very Unimportant Person experience with these guys.
Initially called Brendan and got a text reply to say that he was no longer with Imagine Experiences. Tried repeatedly to contact them to book my Virgin ‘experience’ via phone / email / their website and still haven’t heard from them to this day. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE!! Suspect they’re going out of business, but website still active. 😡
Amazing customer service from start to finish. Brendan responded quickly, Kimberley followed up nearer to the date. On the day, Peter was a wonderful guide. We met other people at the start of the day and every aspect of it was great! Highly recommend 😊
Booked The James Bond Experience for 2 after repeated attempts to book using a voucher (no responses to emails or phone calls). Confirmed booking for 7 January. Booked hotel, transpiration and a babysitter in October. Reached out a couple of days prior to the tour to confirm, no answer to email or phone calls. Finally someone answered (a phone number on the website) but they no longer worked with the company. They went above and beyond to try and help, contacting the owner and asking her to call me. She said she would but never did. I then had the idea to look in my junk email, and there, along with viagra advertisements and spam was an email from 19 December (3 months after booking) saying they were no longer running a tour on that date and offering alternate dates. I did not see this until the day prior and my hotel, transpiration and babysitter was not able to be canceled. I still have yet to be contacted by the company and this sis some of the worst customer service I have experienced. Do not book with this company!!
Fantastic day out even if you are not a huge bond fan. Andrew was a super guide very knowledgeable. Visit to the shooting gallery was great fun and perfume shop was lovely followed by the vodka martini( one is plenty) If you enjoy a good interesting day this is for you. We met nice people on this day out too
Great way to go back to the beginning of Bond through the stories of Ian Fleming and the London spies - great to see different parts of London. Shooting was great fun! Peter is very knowledgeable to a great guide
Thoroughly enjoyable day learning about Ian Fleming's background, shooting things and being chauffeured around London. The emphasis is on understanding the background behind the Bond novels and experiencing the Civil Service club, drinking a Vesper cocktail etc. I was blessed to be part of a smaller than usual group for this tour meaning it was just nice also to have fun meeting some fantastic new people.
Our group of six had a fantastic day with Peter! He was very knowledgeable about both James Bond and Ian Fleming. Peter brought history to life for us. From the start with breakfast, through the various stops, and the closing vesper martini, we all had a super time. What a fabulous way to spend a Saturday in London!!
I set this up for my husband but I had a great time too! Peter was a fantastic guide; we learned so much about Ian Fleming and the inspiration behind his characters! We also learned a bit about the real MI6 and British spies, and to be sure truth is often even more incredible than fiction. We had some incredible experiences as well. The air gun range, Floris perfumery, and Vesper martinis at St Ermin’s…all in a small group setting, which we always prefer. Thanks so much for the memories!
I booked this for my husband, who is a big fan of the Bond films from Connery to Craig—but I had a great time too! We love a small group setting. With just us and a father-son duo, it meant dialogue was flexible and we learned about so much from our FANTASTIC guide Peter—including some history and precedents around the passing of the Queen, which sadly happened only the day prior to our tour. We learned about actual British spies, traitors, and Ian Flemming’s ties to the Navy—plus how many of his characters were based on actual people he had met—Peter made it all compelling. We visited some really cool places too. I wasn’t as accurate a shot as the guys (found out I’m left eye dominant, who knew? I got better after that!) but the air gun range was a literal blast! I really enjoyed the visit to British family perfumers Floris. We did plenty of walking but the use of a Mercedes Sprinter van was an excellent use of some of the tour cost. Really the entire day was seamlessly planned out and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves! We certainly enjoyed our Vesper martinis at London’s “hotel of spies”, St Ermin’s! All in all, an incredible day—thanks so much for the memories!!
I organised this trip as a birthday surprise for my partner. We met up with Peter at the civil service club for breakfast, where the day was laid out for us, and it did not disappoint. The whole experience was very informative and Peter really knows his stuff. The shooting range was great fun and the cocktails at the end in St ermines hotel were amazing. Can't recommend Peter as a tour guide enough either. A good value for money day.
I attended this with my daughter who had bought the experience for my Christmas present. We met our host Peter outside the Civil Service and three other participants. After a fortifying brunch we explored parts of Whitehall associated with Ian Fleming, then were chauffeured to Camden where we had great fun with airsoft pistols and rifles. Then we were driven back to explore Mayfair and St James, including Fleming's birth place and Floris perfumery. We finished off the day with cocktails at St Ermin's Hotel, frequented by Fleming and Churchill during the war, and where SOE was set up. Peter was very knowledgeable about Fleming and Bond and also other London matters. The other three participants were great company and helped to create an excellent day.
My wife and I purchased and paid 586 EUR for the James Bond Experience with Speedboat Adventure. On the day the tour was scheduled, the company's representative did not come, and the information about the cancellation of the trip was only announced when we started calling and looking for this company. Be careful and do not buy tourism programs offered by this company. We extra spent £120 on a transfer for an event that didn't happen, and we haven't received the money. Not to mention a ruined day (a 5-hour event was promised) and mood.
I purchased “A day in the life of James Bond for two” for me and my boyfriend and it was an incredible day out! We started off with a lovely brunch, really tasty food, even offered Prosecco and mimosa all included, had an interesting, historical talk about James Bond and Ian Fleming (a good intro), who we think the new James Bond will be, and the plan for the day, we travelled in a big taxi and as we travelled from one destination to another we got some great stories, some of the places we went to was Floris (perfume/ fragrance shop) and alpha guns (AGL) - this was awesome, really really fun activity included shooting with airsoft guns, competing with your group team mates. We tried James Bond’s favourite drink: Vesper martini (super super strong!). Andy, our guide, was so lovely, super friendly, knows all about James Bond and Ian Fleming! Overall, a well organised balade around London and espionage.
What an awesome experience! As an avid Bond Fan this experience ticked the box, lots of information provided by Andy about Bond. I would also point out that if you are interested in special operations WW2 history and how Ian Fleming helped come with special operations during WW2. Andy went through so much more all about the Fleming Family. In summary book it and we are keen to do other trips with Andy. See you soon Andy
Bought this for my husband who’s a big James Bond fan, he absolutely loved it ! I’m not a big fan myself however, I have to say, I throughly enjoyed the day too. I found Andy, our guide, very knowledgeable & he gave us a lot of information and insights into Ian Fleming, Bond and London. Some things you would never have guessed! There was brunch, a walk around Whitehall, trip to a Airsoft range, which was amazing fun !, visit to Floris perfumery and then finished with typical Bond cocktail. Could of listened to you talk all day Andy ! Would highly recommend this for anyone who loves Bond or history in general. Fascinating stuff ! Well done to all, organisation was brilliant.
This experience day was brilliant. Started the day with a hearty breakfast and an introduction to the world of espionage from our expert tour guide Andy Jackson. His knowledge and delivery was impeccable. After a short stroll through Whitehall with commentary about the surrounding buildings, we were met by a luxury minibus that transported us around some notorious addresses and on to the shooting club. The club was very organized with good safety protocols. Having a little competition between the group added a little extra fun. The visit to Floris was also enjoyable and historically relevant. Finally the last stop of the tour and a Q&A and a vespa. We were fortunate that the weather was great and that there were no disruptions due to protests or demonstrations. Again I have to stress how professional and knowledgeable our guide was, so much so I will be coming back to do the City of Spies evening tour in the summer.
I really fantastic day out and I would highly recommend A day in the life of Bond for two! I went with my father but the day is perfect to also do with friends or as a couple. The experience really if a full day experience, my father and I had the pleasure of having a wonderful tour guide called Peter who was very knowledgeable and informative and all in all, seemed to genuinely have fun and enjoy himself too! My father as I have lived and worked in London for the majority of our lives, but that didn't make the experience any less enjoyable, I feel like most Londoners we are all criminal of going around and just living our life and not stopping and taking the moment to actually see and take things in properly and don't always fully admire our great city for all it's undiscovered history and secrets. I would recommend this experience to anyone who lives in London or travelling in if you live James Bong and history of espionage.
We had a lovely time on our James Bond Experience Day. Our guide, Andy, was very knowledgeable about Bond, Fleming and so many other points of interest we came across throughout the day. We really enjoyed all aspects of the day; the brunch, shooting gallery, personal driver, trip to Floris and Cocktails at the Caxton grill. I would (and have) highly recommend the day to anyone with an interest in Bond.
Peter was an exceptional host. We learnt so much about Bond and espionage in London. Highly recommended.
At first I was sceptical this would just be a cheap attempt to ride off the Bond name....but in the end, I was delighted. We had a day I'll always remember. I always wanted to see those hidden parts of London, the ones you always reads about in the Bond books, and can't believe really exist. It was a perfect birthday gift. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Peter the spy expert was brilliant had us captivated all day. It’s actually much better value than I expected too there’s loads included. Love the little touches, such as brunch in a real hidden private members club, or our chauffeur playing us Bond themes. I am booking the City of Spies one next. Well done Imagine Experiences”
Andy was a superb guide and offered a comfortable, enjoyable personal day experiance. His attention to detail and personal experience as well as depth of facts made very interesting. Food and drink were also great quality.
If you’re in to James Bond, espionage and the history of London, this is definitely for you. Along with a sparkling breakfast, shooting practice and ending the day with a Vesper cocktail in a stunning setting, this is a jam packed day of fun that we would throughly recommend.
My partner booked this experience for my birthday and as an avid Bond fan, this was the perfect day. The places visited throughout the day are so interesting and are a great mix between Bond, Fleming, WW2 and espionage. Our guide Andy was exceptional and made the trip even more enjoyable with his knowledge and experiences. The Floris museum is very good and the shooting activity is so much fun! We will definitely be returning for another go at this. The day starts off with a nice brunch and finishes with a complementary Vesper Martini at the St. Ermin’s Hotel, AKA The House of Spy’s, which is a wonderful way to finish a fantastic day. I would highly recommend this experience for any Bond fan and anyone interested in espionage and WW2 history.
I received this experience as a Christmas present in 2020 but due to the pandemic was delayed - it was well worth the wait. Brunch in the civil servant club, a guided tour of Mayfair visiting locations relating to the life of Ian Fleming, 007, MI5 & MI6, a visit to Q branch for shooting practice ending with Vodka Martinis in St Ermin’s hotel. Both our tour guide and driver were so knowledgable not just on James Bond and Ian Fleming but also on the various sights within London and so friendly. It was definelty an experience i will never forget and buzzing to do it again!
I had purchased for my partner and I "A Day in the Life of James Bond The Immersive Experience for Two" through Virgin Experience. The description of the experience provided by "Imagine" has been completely misrepresented. We attended the "tour" on 22 May and were absolutely disappointed. In particular, the following activities from the promised on the website were NOT provided: - PPE kit for each guest with your own drawstring souvenir bag; -A lesson on counter surveillance techniques; - A visit to “Q” / shooting range activity using 300 rounds with the preferred weapons of Bond (this was supposed to be the main activity of this tour; we were told that because of road closure we would not make it on time); - Guided tour of the Floris Museum and its signature collection. In the store we could try the samples as just as another customer for free. The museum itself was closed. Briefly, we paid 450 pounds to have a lunch, a Vesper cocktail at Taj Hotel and a ride around Mayfair. As explained above, most of the promised activities were not conducted. We spent 3 hours at Taj hotel having lunch!! In addition to that the tour finished one hour earlier at 17.00 instead of 18:00. After writing and complaining with Virgin, the provider didn't want to reimburse for the activities not provided. Also, Virgin has offer some vouchers, which were not a reasonable compensation. Summary: 1. It was not an immersive experience in any how. Plus, several activities advertised weren't provided. 2. Couldn't resolve the problem with Virgin.
Due to the pandemic this tour was delayed, but was definitely worth waiting for. We met Andrew, our guide for the day, at a hotel associated with Ian Fleming for an excellent breakfast and the day got better from there. The day included a walking tour of the St Jame’s area highlighting old school spy techniques and locations. Then by car to a shooting range to hone our skills (not live bullets thankfully). Then a driven tour of Mayfair, a stop off at Bonds perfumery, before we ended up at another hidden gem of a hotel for the famous Bond Vespa Martini. The above descriptions does not do the day justice. We were entertained from 10 through to past 3 pm. Andrew is a walking encyclopaedia of all things Bond and Fleming. My wife, who enjoys a Bond movie but is not overly interested in the rest, totally enjoyed the day. Andrew stayed on with us for a drink and was happy to continue passing on his knowledge as well as being a very nice guy and good company. We will be exploring their other tours and booking soon.
We had a full day excursion with our host Andrew, the day was very well organised, immersive, tailored and great fun, can not recommend it enough, Andrew's knowledge was fantastic nothing went unanswered, in addition the back up from other members of the team has been great, highly recommended
I got James Bond experience for a day as a Christmas present for my boyfriend this year, looking for something new, exciting and different. We have just had it last Saturday and were very happy with it! Andy is an amazing tour guide and a very rich character perfect for this kind of tour, we thoroughly enjoyed his tour. Lots of new places discovered in London, nice food and drinks enjoyed, wonderful perfumes smelt and guns shot. Thoroughly recommended!!
