Speedboat Cruise Tour: Embankment Or Westminster Pier -70 Minutes

I booked a trip for my 16 year old daughter and a friend who was visiting from France. The original trip we had booked was not able to go ahead but we were offered a free upgrade to another trip on the same day. The communication was great and the girls had an amazing time. A great way to see all the sights but then getting an exhilarating high speed ride.

Great experience! The speedboat ride was a fantastic way to see London from a different perspective, and even better at speed! The guide shared lots of interesting information and stories about the important landmarks and locations along the Thames, which made the ride both fun and informative. The only thing I think could be improved is the price of the photos taken during the ride. At £10 per photo, I would expect to include both a digital and printed version. Alternatively, it would be great if the digital photos were included in the ticket price, with printed photos available as an optional extra. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and a great way to see London!

Fantastic fun! The Sign In was pleasant, the Guides were awesome and the boat tide was so fun. Definitely recommend!

What an amazing experience with Thames RIB Experience! From the moment we arrived, Heidi on shore was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, making everything run smoothly. Our guides, Ed and Lee, were both fantastic. They shared some really interesting facts about London's landmarks throughout the tour, making it both informative and entertaining. The highlight was definitely the high-speed section of the trip, which was an absolute thrill and so much fun! A perfect combination of sightseeing, learning, and excitement. Highly recommend to anyone visiting London! 🚤🇬🇧

What a wonderful experience. The guide talked us through the sights, giving us factual information (just the right amount). The speed part was great fun and the kids loved it. What an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! If you're looking for something exciting to do in London, this is it. The crew were fantastic, friendly, professional, and made everyone feel completely safe while keeping the atmosphere fun and entertaining. The commentary was brilliant, full of interesting facts with plenty of humour along the way. The best part was when the boat opened up on the faster section of the Thames. The speed, sharp turns, and music made it feel like a rollercoaster on water! It was an adrenaline rush unlike anything I've experienced, while still being able to take in London's iconic landmarks from a completely different perspective. The whole experience was incredibly well organised, and every member of staff clearly loves what they do. It's the perfect mix of sightseeing, thrills, and laughs. This is my 3rd time doing and I'll definitely be booking again!

We loved this experience. We had seen it when we'd been on other day trips and thought it looked fun and it didn't disappoint. The booking was easy, the instructions were clear, the team were great, and the experience itself - seeing London from this perspective, with a good amount of commentary and then hurtling along at spped with the James Bond theme tune blasting, it was sheer joy and something none of us will ever forget, loved it!

Booked a trip and operator cancelled trip to lack of numbers. Rebooked for a different time/ date and they knocked off 15%

We all loved the Rib ride and had lots of fun. Kane was a great guide giving lots of useful information about the history of the buildings. Leo was a crazy captain doing lots of twists and turns but we LOVED it 😻! The music created a good atmosphere, we’d definitely recommend as a great family day activity.

Glad I did it but don’t need to do it again. I not do it for the speed or the turning but just to see the scenery and the info and it was good for that perspective.

Absolutely THE BEST! My second time going with different family members. It did not disappoint. The tour guides are great in the first part of the ride pointing out all the iconic sights and more. A great way to see London from the Thames and then when they “open it up” it is absolutely thrilling and just plain fun. Perfect for all ages.

Great experience with Leo and Kane.

Exhilarating ride past some familiar landmarks, but also many new ones. The lady at reception on the pier was so friendly and helpful with advice and settling nerves. It was hard to hear the live commentary once we were underway, but it didn't really matter as we were flying down the river, with sudden jinks left and right, feeling the raw power of the engine and the wind in our hair. It was a completely new experience and made a great birthday present.

Excellent, exciting 45mins blast down to Canary Wharf and back. Entertaining and informative.

What a fantastic experience! Our skipper was Leo and he gave us an adrenaline filled ride up to the Thames Barrier and back. Kai was our guide and his commentary was interesting, engaging and clear. What a fab way to see London and would definitely recommend! My mother uses a mobility scooter and was able to come on board too. Westminster pier is step free till the Thames Rib experience kiosk. We were able to fold the scooter up and leave it in the kiosk for my mother to get on board the boat and she had a fab time.

Great fun zipping all over the Thames. The tour guide was very knowledgable too. Highly recommended

Amazing experience and staff very knowledgeable on the landmarks we passed. Lots of fun at high speeds but it does get windy so take some warm clothing.

JamesI’m theme was amazing and they fit it perfectly with the music and all the songs and they mixed it with American and British and it just reallymake the ride so much more amazing. We gotta see every cool thing in Britain from a different view.

Do it! Did this trip today with John & Max - absolutely the best thing we ever did in London. Brilliant mix of boat tour & info until past Tower Bridge and then a thriller of a ride down to the Thames barrier and back. Despite it being -4 celcius feel today we loved it. Tip - lovely clipper lounge at embankment pier - handy for drinks, snacks & loo before / after.

"WOW" Just wow !!!! What an amazing experience from start to finish. The guys who took us were simply awesome from the safety briefing through to the high speed section, the weaving was an added fabulous bonus. We did this for my Dad's 90th birthday and he ranks it as one of the best experiences of his life, so huge thanks guys, you made a fabulous day out of this world. Simply can't recommend highly enough.

This was an awesome ride. The slow parts and photo ops were great. The sped up part was even better! And they had great taste in music!

A really great experience, lots of high speed swerving around, loved it. The safety brief at the beginning was very reassuring and I felt safe and comfortable for the whole trip. Plus we got an upgrade to a longer trip when there weren’t quite enough people on the one we booked.

Initially there were not enough people on our booking, but the team kept in contact and as we got closer to the day it was confirmed, so worth waiting to see. The three of us had a great trip with Dean (the skipper) and Matt. Learned some new things about landmarks on the river and enjoyed the fast ride part of the trip with music. Great to see the London Barrier - actually closed for the annual test day, which was interesting. Highly recommend.

My friend & I booked this tour for a bit of fun on our girls weekend to London! Easy to find directions, the lady at the reception kiosk was friendly & informative. The two guys that took us out on our trip were friendly & were detailed in the knowledge of all the landmarks that we slowed to look at. Then the real fun began! Speeding up & down the Thames to Bond was so much fun especially at the end when we caught the wake of a boat a head of us, loved the experience would definitely recommend it.

I had done a speedboat tour before and thought it couldn’t get any better – but the team proved me wrong!
