We went to the Gin Tour with Gin Tasting last night and thought it was amazing. We loved it! The tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, engaging and made the whole experience really fun. The gin was good as well ofc!! Would highly recommend.
Brilliant experience ! Weather was stormy and wet but the 2 female guides were warm and welcoming with a hot gin toddy waiting for us in an old fashioned bus. We went in to the Distillery and had a fascinating hour and a half talk on the story behind the Company and the distilling process, while enjoying 3 gins with mixers and a gin based cocktail. The Guides really brought it all to life and we really enjoyed the whole afternoon. It ended with the opportunity to buy but also a goody bag containing 2 miniature gins and a cocktail recipe. Fully recommend !
Excellent gin distillery tour a warm welcome from Hal and Ellie on what was a wet and windy afternoon . A mug of warm mulled apple gin on the vintage bus was just the ticket to warm up . The presentation in the still room is professional informative but also light hearted and fun . Tasted three gins and got a potted history of the Buissness and how the gin is produced. Fun afternoon highly recommend
Brilliant experience. Exceeded to what I was expecting. Great to find out about the history behind Sipsmith. The Lucas and Julie were amazing with their knowledge. I do recommend doing this tour.
Fun, tasty evening with Hal and Ellie.
Lucas and. Ellie were knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. The origin / naming story was interesting and the technical side was informative. We left as mini brand ambassadors ( carrying our Sipsmith purchases) It’s clearly a 2 hour experience though so don’t expect to be out in 90 mins.
Excellent value for money Tour was 2 hours long, which flew by. The hosts were knowledgeable and entertaining The gin tastings were excellent. Highly recommend
Engaging and immersive experience. Exceeded my expectation.
This tasting tour was just fantastic AND that’s coming from a non gin drinker!! The venue took me by surprise as the distillery is at an end of a very ordinary but very nice road. The welcome area, tasting area, the small shop & the toilets stylishly created. Our hosts Jasmine & Lukas were absolutely fantastic. They were engaging, knowledgeable & enthusiastic. We were all treated with such kindness and our going home goodie bag was such a lovely touch at the end. My friend agreed, it was all great.. can highly recommend if a gin drinker like my friend, or not like me!!
Such an incredible way to spend a Friday evening! 🍸 The Sipsmith team were exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining, making the whole experience both fun and informative. A brilliant combination of great drinks, fascinating insights and fantastic hospitality. Highly recommend!
Excellent afternoon the 2 hosts were knowledgeable entertaining and the gin was amazing fantastic afternoon
Great evening. Wonderfully entertained by our hosts who were funny, charming and inclusive. A great knowledge on`Sipsmith with a good few gins to accompany the presentation. A great night
Jasmine and Aiden who were the hosts were very welcoming from the moment we turned up. Jasmine explained everything with such enthusiasm and passion it was catching. They both got us all involved and we all had a laugh. It was a very informative and fun time.
Lucas and Ellie were great tour guides. Made the whole experience fun. Drinks were nice. Would recommend.
The presentation and tour of the distillery was superb. The presenters knew their stuff, made the subject matter interesting and informative. The distillery itself was impressive and interesting. What a great visit.
Jasmine and Aidan were excellent. Great evening with valuable insights into cocktail making and associated histories.
The best trip I have made to a distillery, brewery or winery. We had really entertaining and informative guides, and a variety of gins and cocktails to try. It was very good value. The only warning is do not drive afterwards!
The tour was great. The history, of gin and of the distillery, paired with the tastings were excellent. Sitting at a table in the distillery as we tasted and learned was a fun experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The gin was fantastic too
I purchased the voucher for a Sipsmith Gin Distillery and Tasting through Travelzoo and it was fantastic. We were welcomed with a Sloe Gin and lemonade while we waited for the other participants to arrive. The Distillery entrance is tucked away in a residential area in Chiswick. A short walk away from Turners Hill tube station on the District Line. Our tutors were Ellie and Levenka, who fascinated us with the story of Sipsmith Distillery and its founders, the ingredients used in their Gin and the process. We had a tasting of a selection of their Gins they produce and a cocktail with mixers if required. It was amazing value for money and a fun and informative evening. We then had the opportunity to buy their Gins and given a goody bag.
This was an amazing experience. We learnt lots. The tastings were really good and lots of options to try with tonic lemonade and ginger ale. Our 2 guides really made it. Jes and Jaz I believe they were called. Would fully recommend this tour
This was a great experience. It said it lasts 1.5hrs but allow for 2. There were 22 on our tour but as it all takes place in one area it didn’t feel crowded. Very informative and engaging with a good selection of samples and a goody bag to take home. Not easy for us to get to on public transport but worth the effort.
Our hosts were fantastic and informative! Loved the gin and goodie bag. A great addition to our trip!
Great afternoon, informative and enthusiastic presentation
Tour was very good and informative. Explanation of the history or gin itself, the history of Sipsmith Gin, and a tasting of various different gins. You get to try a good amount of Gin for the price! It is very personable and not commercialized, like others I have been to are.
Really enjoyed the Sipsmith tour and tasting. It lasted 1.5 hours with different gin tasting throughout the experience. The history of gin (and Sipsmith gin) was very interesting. The staff were great too.
The tour was quite an experience. From the welcome drink - a winterwarmer made with sloe gin and the waiting area complete with an old bus. The tour with the gin tasting and the tasting notes as well as the gin distillation process was quite informative. The only disappointment was the fact that the production area was out of bounds and one could only see it from the gin tasting area whichreally wasn't that much of a distance from the area the tasting was taking place.
Great way to learn a lot about London gin, the tastings were very nice and ended up with a martini!
Good fun, entertaining and welcoming hosts. The tipples were generous and interesting to taste. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Well done.👍
Booked after an offer on Travelzoo. Greeted by Jasmin with clear instruction. Jasmine was ably assisted by Aiden. A lovely welcone drink beforegoing through to the rooms with the tastings set out and the three stills. A wonderful history talk and tutoring. A varied selection of gins and even a cocktail. Not rushed at all. A cute gift shop reasonably priced. I highly recommend this event.
Molly and Jasmine were excellent hosts who kept us engaged and interested. The gins we tasted were excellent and we learned a lot about the history and production of the spirit. Located right in the centre of Chiswick for transport and further food/drink options. Highly recommend!
We arrived early and were warmly greeted and taken through to the distillery where we enjoyed a efreshing sloe gin & lemonade on the Sipsmith bus. The tour (more of a sitting down experience) was very informative and entertaining and our guide was very engaging and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed tasting 3 more gins and finished with a cocktail. The goody bag takeaway was a delightful and unexpected treat! We were there for approximately two and a half hours, although the guided tour has a running time of 90 minutes (slightly overran but this was not a problem at all). We left on a happy little gin cloud 😀. The only thing I would say is that there are no snacks provided to have with your gin, so make sure you've eaten something before you get there to line your stomach!! If you love gin, or know someone who does, this is a fabulous treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.
Lucas and Aidan were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and they made the whole experience so much more carefree and enjoyable. I now have a completely new appreciation for gin and, more importantly, for the craft, passion, and attention to detail that goes into creating a truly great gin. It was fascinating to discover what really happens behind the scenes and to understand the story and craftsmanship behind every bottle. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Dipsmith for making the experience so memorable and for sharing Jared's exceptional Sipmisth Martini !
The whole event was delightful. The meet and greet with a sloe gin and lemonade was delicious. This was followed by tasting three other gins finishing with a London dry gin and vermouth (martini ) mixed in spectacular style. The "tour guide" Lucas" I believe was extremely knowledgeable, passionate and very informative. We (four of us) thought it was an excellent evening and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a different night out, and a glass or two of gin
Great tasting and tour! Awesome to learn about the gin, how it is made and the history of the distillery and the brand
Amazing. The back story to Sipsmith and history of gin was entertaining and interesting. Jes is an expert entertainer and storyteller notwithstanding teaching us all how to properly taste gin with different varieties. All staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to answer any questions. Would highly recommend.
A great experience last night hosted by Jes and Ayla(?). Gin cocktail to start and then tutored presentation and tastings by Jes, supported by Ayla. The ethos of Sipsmith and the whole gin making process was brilliantly explained by Jes. Tasted 3 or 4 gins and got a surprise gift of 2 miniatures as we left. Jes could not recall the poisonous flavouring used instead of Juniper during the gin craze of the 1700s. Understandable as he has not hosted tastings for a few months. After some research I think it was turpentine, from pine trees. Much cheaper than Juniper! Thanks to all who made it a great evening.
Great little tour, the hosts were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made the tour and tasting fun.
Amazing day. The two ladies that took the tour were friendly knowledgeable and made the whole experience such good value
Super Interesting Fun few hours. Great Host Guide Ellie and With a Very helpful Pleasant Barman Aiden.
Incredibly friendly and enthusiastic hosts who made the one and a half hour tour informative but kept it fun and laid back. We were worried about being late but they were so accommodating and welcoming. Plenty of generous samples to try too which were wonderful. Would highly recommend to any gin lover.
Informative, knowledgeable, relaxed and engaging. Great history of Gin and its history. Loved the Bus and shop.
Brilliant Tour and Tasting. The American lady was very good and it was lovely to hear firstly the history and how Sipsmith came about. The tasting was also very good and nice to try different gins. The welcome drink was nice. Could not find fault with the talk and tasting as everything was explained to us. Small group of 19 so even better. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you
A most enjoyable evening, learning a lot about gin production as well as sampling a range of different gins. The Sipsmith team was welcoming, informative and great fun. We all had a great time.
A fantastic day out experiencing the distillery, learning about the history and tasting some amazing gins.
Fab host & so much fun. Excellent value
What an absolutely awesome experience. A lovely distillery with fantastic gin. The tour was very interesting and the staff were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the company, the gin distilling process and the history of gin. The gin was delicious as well, and there was a lot of lovely gin tasting!
Great tour and tasting session. Welcome drink and then the opportunity to try for other gins. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides.
We were absolutely spellbound by our visit to the Sipsmith Distillery. The experience kicked off with a lovely welcome drink by their iconic vintage bus—a perfect start to the day. The tasting room itself is located right next to the copper stills, placing you right in the heart of the action. The presentation was top-notch. It struck the perfect balance between the historical context of London’s gin scene and the inspiring success story of Sipsmith itself. The talk was expertly delivered and complemented the tasting beautifully. For me, the icing on the cake was the detailed breakdown of the production process, including a look at the spirits from various stages of distillation. As a thoughtful parting gift, we even received two miniature bottles of gin to take home. It took us two hours to get there by public transport, but it was worth every single minute. A truly fantastic experience and a masterclass in craft distilling!
We enjoyed being welcomed by Lucas who briefed us of the tour. Then, Jes served a lovely drink to start and wait for the whole group to join. Both, Jes and Lucas, very vividly explained a lot about the distillery, its history and challenges and certainly also about the excellent products of Sipsmith. And yes, the tasting was also amazing! Many thanks.
