Oliver was a magnificent tour guide and was very informative. Marius was an excellent driver and was a very comfortable ride to and from our destination. Couldn’t thank both of them enough
I was on trip with Marius and Oliver. Everything went great.🙂 Although it would have been nicer to have better views of Seven sisters.
Our guide Mr. Oliver and driver Maurice were really nice. Nice tour. The weather changed a lot during the trip so it was good idea to have many layers.
Great experience, big thank you to Oliver, the guide and to Marius, the driver. Absolutely fantastic both and greatly appreciated their knowledge, guidance, support and bring back safe.
Oliver and Marius were great the trip is nice
Had a fantastic experience with friends. Thanks to Oliver and Marius for making it a seamless experience for us!
Oliver and Marius were wonderful!
The tour was amazing, the team absolutely lovely and the driver super profesional. Everything was very punctual. Thank you and definitely recommended.
Highly recommended. Oliver and amresh are actually very helpful
David! Thank you so much for such a wonderful day visiting the Seven Sisters and Brighton! We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery, your explanations, and your kindness throughout the trip. You made the experience even more special for all of us. Thank you for being such a great guide and for sharing this lovely day with our group. We’ll keep these memories with us! 😊🌊💙
David our tour guide and Ula the driver were both very nice. The tour was very nice.
Nice Views, lovely guide. The AC on the coach was a bit confused, either freezing or overheating us or trying both at the same time. The driver also had a rather hectic driving style, which made some of us quite nauseous.
Oliver and Amrish was so good and kind. This trip was really interesting and so funny so I want to tell about my friends and family. Hello from Russia, I hope see you again
We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Oliver was our tour guide, again, for one of our Golden Tour day trips. We were here 2 years ago and had him then. Just like last time, he was lovely and kept us entertained and he was attentive to our needs. Mr. Ashely, the driver, was fantastic as well.
The tour guide was amazing!!!
Thank you to Guide Oliver and Driver Zaw!! :) amazing guided trip to the seven sisters and the Brighton. Oliver’s commentaries were informative and insightful infused with humour that made the tour educational and also simultaneously enjoyable and so much fun! Everything ran smoothly and efficiently and Oliver provided great tips for my trip and also offered to take photos etc. His warmth and friendliness really made the tour worthwhile to participate! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thanks also to Zaw, our driver who transported us safely in between venues safely and smoothly with no issues. :) Great job and highly recommend golden tours for their excellent service provision!
I ejoyed the trip, well organized and profesional, special thanks for tour from Oliver and safe travel with our driver.
Guide was great. Driver was 15 mins late picking up us at 7 Sisters, but nonetheless, got us to and from all stops safely. 7 Sisters was majestic. Had enough time to sit down and eat at Brighton and walk the pier. We opted not to tour the Royal Pavilion but took pics in the gardens.
The actual places were great, but the bus ride was long and uncomfortable...traffic was horrible. Seems like there had to be ways to avoid some of the traffic
Tour guide was witty and informative. The tour took place in the off-season so it wasn’t busy at all, which was nice. One thing is the bus had lots of loose parts like the food tray, screen, etc. that would shake loudly or fall out of place as the bus rattled. Otherwise it was a smooth ride by the driver and the destinations did not disappoint. I would especially recommend the Seven Sisters to anyone into geology or natural attractions. The Royal Pavillon was very unique building, I’d recommend it to anyone.
Seven Sisters was very beautiful! Brighton felt like it was a bit past its prime and run down. Overall the bus ride is a lot for one day.
Guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. Driver was punctual and got us from A to B safely. This is a tour where you are going to want decent weather. Our weather was great. One note: the schedule timings are not a suggestion. Don’t be that person who thinks they can be late and the bus will wait. There was a person on our tour who did not make it back to the bus at the communicated time. The guide did look for them but ultimately they were left behind when they could not be located after 10 minutes. The total timing of our trip: ~2 hours travel time London to Seven Sisters 1 hour 30 minutes to explore at Seven Sisters 1 hour travel time Seven Sisters to Brighton 3 hours in Brighton which included self guided tour of Royal Pavillion and touring local shops. ~2 hours travel time back to London
The tour is decent starts with the stop at seven sisters , you can do a hike to the Lighthouse on top of the hill or just spend sometime at the beach , the view is amazing and then quickly grab a bite at the nearby cafe ..The next stop is at Brighton Royal Pavillion it is optional but there is plenty to do otherwisr , you can wander around the street n the pier or just soend time at the beach..The driver n the guide were both pleasant n helpful
Beyond beautiful; the cliffs are White!!! Wear walking/hiking shoes and hike to the lighthouse You will get the best views.
The trip was a wonderful break from the city visit. The cliffs were awesome and Brighton is lovely. The wind was wild, and you spend a lot of the trip in the bus in traffic. I would still recommend doing it.
Such a beautiful tour I really liked how we visited the white cliffs first and I think it was a perfect amount of times for both White cliffs and Brighton. Tour guide Oliver and driver Jon were excellent, helpful, and went above and beyond for hospitality. Such a fun day!!
Very disappointing experience with Golden Tours yesterday, August 21st. The tour locations were okay, nothing too special, but okay. Unfortunately, the tour guide (an older white guy) managed to ruin our day. He was grumpy, refusing to let us sit on one of the front seats (despite it being vacant the whole trip?!) because it was "his" seat?! He sat the entire day in the tour-guides seat next to the driver, leaving this one open all day. I have mobility challenges, which was why I'd requested this seat, but he flatly refused. He also said it they charged extra for those seats, which I would've been willing to do, but this wasn't an option provided to me when I made my booking. To make matters worse, another company employee/manager (a South Asian male, about 35 years) and his wife and young son joined the tour in the front rows of the bus. The problem here was that their young son (about 3) talked and babbled almost non-stop, making it difficult for both us and other passengers to hear the tour guide's commentary. The parents made no effort to get him to be quiet, apparently thinking that the other (paying!) guests would think their son's vocalizations were as "cute" as they did? Very frustrating, considering this Golden Tours manager's (whose family joined the tour for free) took away from the experience this company supposedly provides to their paying customers. We took a number of other tours with other companies while we were here and they were all terrific, with the tour guides doing what they're supposed to do, which is providing the best experience possible for their guests. Shame on you Golden Tours!
The bus stop mentioned was different from where the bus actually was so even though we were on time we got the last seats. Then the tour guide Oliver had done absolutely no HW . There was no information or history or interesting facts added anywhere. The tour was mentioned as 12 hours but he finished in 10. He was only particular any the time. it was freezing in the bus but he never ventured from his seat and there was no way to tell him about the temperature. There were no audio devices so he had to shout once we were outside and if you were the last Im the line you heard nothing, not that he had anything interesting to say. Everything he told us could be going on the first Google hit The places were liovely but the tour guide and operator were terrible. I have another trip with then planned next weekend. I hope we get a better guide .
That was a great experience !!
Generally speaking, it’s a nice trip, with the tour guide giving some interesting facts about the attractions. The only thing we found a bit unpleasant was the traffic. We encountered heavy traffic on the way heading to the Seven Sisters Cliff. The service the guide and the driver provided was great.
our tour guide Mr. Oliver and the driver Mr. Marius were both phenomenal, we had a really great time, Thanks to them we had an amazing time.
Oliver and Marius were friendly, engaging, gave some good historical references and ensured the tour went smoothly!
Wei is a very nice person, but i feel like i didn't learn a lot from the tour.
Beatiful scenery, professional guide and driver.
On the way back the tour guide said we’ll be dropped off not at Victoria station, as it was in the tour description, but “not far away”. The trip itself was nice.
Tour was well planned and fantastic. Tour Guide was also very co operative.
Was given very little but repetitive information by "guide" but only on the bus. The driver of was rude and inconsiderate. The AC was not high enough to keep anyone cool. They decided to drop us off at the end of the day at a different station than what the booking said it would be and we were all told to take a taxi or the underground to get back to where we were supposed to be let out since many people had arrangements at Victoria (where we were picked up and told at booking that we would be dropped off). Three groups decided to miss the bus back and take the train since it was faster and more comfortable than the bus.
Me my wife and my son were in different seats and no body care to arrange for us to sit next to each other
It was a fantastic tour.. although I couldn’t enjoy it because of the strong wind that day! Totally recommend it and our guide and driver were awesome
It was great! Good organisation. Tour guide explained everything about drop off and pick up points+hours when should we get there. Also he was funny, telling jokes. The bus was new, and relatively clean.
Kulvinder and Oliver were great. Brighton was really nice. The weather was great and it was nice to be on the water.
It was a wonderful experience. Thanks to our guide David and driver Mohammad.
David was lovely. Professional, supportive, and all around group tour leader. Highly recommend for anyone looking to book.
The tour guide Kovan or Kevin it explains every detail. But wish to have longer time there.
I had an amazing day trip to Brighton and the Seven Sisters! The itinerary was well organized, and we had enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. The Seven Sisters cliffs were absolutely breathtaking, with stunning coastal views that were even more beautiful in person. Brighton was charming, with plenty of time to explore the beach, the Lanes, and enjoy some local food. A special thanks to our guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the journey enjoyable with interesting stories and clear instructions throughout the day. The transportation was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to experience England’s beautiful coastline in just one day!
Amazing trip to Brighton and the Seven Sisters, bit of a long drive at first but Olivers commentary made up for that. We had amazing weather conditions, at the Seven Sisters as well as in Brighton directly. The pick-up spot wasn't that hard to find and there are supervisors in hi-vis vests that you can ask where your coach is. It was important to be early/on time, as we did nearly drive off with 2 people missing. The first stop were the Seven Sisters and even though it is pretty, there's in my opinion not a lot to do. Sure, you can see the channel and the Sisters and you can enjoy some food, but Brighton was the proper highlight for me personally. Such a vibrant and lively city and the tour definitely doesn't allocate enough time, but that's not the guide's or drivers fault, you'd need a few days in the city to take it all in. This is a nice taste of it all and you're free to do what your heart desires. I'd definitely recommend this tour, especially if you're unfamiliar with Brighton. David and Kul Vinder were great!
Booking the Golden tours to Brighton and Seven Sisters has been an amazing experience. The tour guide was both funny and knowledgeable and has been an exceptional guide for all of us. The bus operator was very punctual as well.
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Our guide Dave was informative and friendly .I felt we had ample time at both stops and I would recommend this trip.
It was a great day. The seven sisters gets busy and the lineup for the women's washroom takes a lot of your time if you don't do that first. I had time to walk along the water and take pictures of the cliffs but did have time to visit our the gift shop. They need more washrooms for the amount of your buses.
