Secret Old London Guided Walking Tour

Fun tour, definitely covers a lot of lesser known areas and a great way to spend a couple hours. It goes through a quieter part of town.

Jess was awesome. He had a loud, clear voice that we all could hear. His stories were interesting and he had a respectful way of telling sad history. Fantastic pace. Really loved every minute.

Jess was really knowledgeable and presented a wide range of information in an accessible and fun way. The inclusion of pictures helped bring things to life. Some great sites were included and it was a well designed tour.

We were very impressed with Jess, who knows the history of the area exceedingly well, and puts it over in an interesting manner.

We really found the walking tour so interesting. The guide Pepe was excellent- well prepared with lots of relevant historical photos and information. Good sense of humour and we felt well looked after. Fascinating to know how many layers of history lie under familiar spots in the city. Definitely recommended

Matt was a very knowledgeable and personable guide for this fascinating tour of the oldest part of London. I’ve been to London several times but wasn’t aware of the rich (and often tragic) history of this area. I don’t want to give away specifics because it’s more fun to be surprised, so I’ll just say that even if you know a lot of history already, you are sure to learn things that will amaze you and enjoy seeing beautiful ancient structures and memorials. The tour is also an ideal length IMO— just the right amount of walking and talking. Definitely recommend it!

Wonderful knowledgeable guide a most enjoyable experience around areas I would never visit I would recommend this to anyone interested in history and learning about buildings in London.

Loved this walk around Smithfield which started outside the Barbican underground station and ended at the Guildhall. Interesting and informative. This is a walking tour so there's little opportunities to sit, just be aware of that.

You will visit places you never knew about. There’s a lot of walking. There are no pit stops. Use the toilet before you start your tour. Excellent tour.

Excellent tour guide was very informative, information, dense, well presented, entertainingly presented, willing to answer questions. The only problem was that we were running three or four minutes late to the meeting spot, but the guy left exactly he said at at the start time, even though we were not there yet and he knew we were coming and had paid, but we got no message that he was leaving without us. Only by luck, I noticed him walking down the street in the opposite direction that we were hurrying to get to the starting spot so I yelled to him to see if he was our tour guide and he said yes he had our names. So that was the only problem everything else was great.

The tour was really interesting with surprising facts. The tour guide speaks with passion and was really enthusiastic, really easy to follow along. A recommended tour!!

Jess was excellent, very knowledgeable. Lots of details and stories. Really enjoyed seeing parts of the Roman wall and old churches and gardens plus historic Charterhouse. 100% recommended

Really fun, interesting and surprising! Really liked Matt, very knowledgeable and easy to get on with and chat to. Quite a good length of time at each interesting point, photo opportunities etc. We returned to several points after the tour for a further look in the curiosity and antique shops.

..A gem found in every corner, from centuries old architectural details to secluded, quiet areas. This was a tour that was well worthwhile for us .. a great way to spend part of an afternoon.
