Our driver started us off with enjoyable and educational tour through London with a great mix of humor and historical narratives. He was very engaging and thoroughly enjoyable to spend our extended day. Of course, Stonehenge speaks for itself, but he added immense value with stories, photographic advice and a knack for avoiding the most congestive parts of the experience. We engaged in playful banter and there was a genuine back and forth between Nick and our entire crew. As we are on our first trip to England, and this was a welcomed and cherished experience that we all would wholeheartedly recommend. Five stars is not enough.

We just returned from an incredible trip to London, and I cannot say enough about Charles and the entire Kingdom Tours team. I worked with Charles for more than six months planning our tours, and from our first conversation through our final day, he delivered on everything we discussed and more. His attention to detail, recommendations, organization, and personal commitment made the entire experience seamless. Nick was absolutely awesome. His knowledge, personality, and genuine desire to make every day memorable made our time in London truly special. Moe was also wonderful and took great care of us. This tour was AMAZING and Nik was outstanding as our Driver / Guide. The information we received in advance was really helpful to plan the day and book our tickets to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Pickup at our hotel was seamless and the van was spotless and ride comfortable. Nik’s knowledge of the sites was incredible and he made the experience informative and engaging for the 4 adults and 2 children (aged 9 and 15) in our group. Nik went out of his way to make sure everyone got something meaningful out of the tour. Would definitely look to book with Kingdom Private Tours again if I’m back in the UK and have the opportunity! This was worth every penny.

If you're considering a private tour to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, stop considering and just book it. Our day with AJ was one of the highlights of the entire trip. The difference between a private tour and a group coach is hard to overstate. No queuing, no waiting, no herding — we walked straight past the lines at both sites while the crowds shuffled forward. The whole day felt effortless in a way that only good planning and a great driver can deliver. AJ made the experience. Warm, funny, and genuinely knowledgeable — the drive out to Stonehenge and back felt half the length it should have because the conversation was so good. He read the day perfectly: engaging when we wanted to talk, quiet when we wanted to take in the views, and always exactly where we needed him to be. Stonehenge at your own pace, Windsor Castle without the crowds, and a comfortable ride both ways in great company. An effortless day from start to finish. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic day seeing Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Nick, our guide, was absolutely excellent. Cheery demeanor, filled with facts, excited about his job, and excited to tell us everything he knew. He engaged everyone in the family together and individually. He really makes you feel welcome to the tour and to the country. He’s an excellent ambassador for the company.

Stonehenge is even more impressive than expected! Windsor was very nice and St Goerge's Chapel is down right amazing. The ride out and back from London was through beautiful countryside. Nik is very personable and entertaining.

We had Kash as our driver. He was on time, made sure we knew where to go, and communicated well regarding pickup locations and we never felt hurried. As others have mentioned, this service is more of a transportation service to the sites rather than a guided tour experience. One concern we had was that for much of the drive, Kash appeared to be on a personal phone call while we were in the car. While he was friendly and got us safely to each destination, it did not feel in line with the professional standard we would expect from a company driver service.

I’m sure Kingdom Private Tours provides a good experience – when everything works right. But the real test of a business is how it handles problems. We hired Kingdom Private Tour for a day to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. It was a bright, sunny day. As we were leaving Stonehenge about noon, the car was hot, and I asked the driver to turn on the air conditioning. He told us it was broken and opened the windows. On the highway with the windows open, the noise in the back of the car was deafening, so I asked him to close them, and we sat there in the heat. While we were on the way to Windsor, I started an email exchange with the Kingdom’s manager about the problem. He wrote back, telling me not to worry about “such small matters.” After we were back at our hotel, I wrote back requesting a partial refund. He refused any compensation, writing that “We delivered a wonderful day,” and that we were supplied with “plenty of cool drinks” - a couple of room-temperature water bottles.

What an amazing day with Douglas. He was so informative and funny. From the first communication in the morning he kept us in the know throughout the day. Remember to include him in your lunch plans as he has great stories that are not part or of Stonehenge or Windsor Castle. An overall fantastic host for the day. We are so glad to have had a day with him. We highly recommend Kingdom Private Tours and Douglas.

Both venues were great but our driver Nik really made the experience. His energy and friendliness made it so much fun and his knowledge of history especially Stonehenge was incredible. He truly guided us on timings, where to go and where to eat. The communication leading up to the trip from the tour company was also great. We would highly recommend Nik as a guide anyway!!

Our guide was excellent! He knew so much history! He also was very attentive to our needs and thoughtful. We went to Hampton court instead of Windsor which I much prefer having been to both. Stonehenge was very fun because our guide told us so much history about the stones.

Our family of four (two boys, 11 and 8) from the United States had an amazing tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Salisbury with our guide Jay. He was early to arrive at our hotel, and immediately helped us feel comfortable and ready for the tour. He was fun and engaging and really helped us gain a great appreciation for everything we did and saw during our day tour. We had initially planned to visit Bath after Windsor and Stonehenge. But since we hadn’t purchased any tickets for Bath yet, Jay gave us 5 alternative options to choose from, along with thoughts on how to choose. Our family decided to visit Salisbury to see the town, cathedral and the best surviving original of the Magna Carta. And I’m so glad we did! There is so much shared history between the U.S. and England, and seeing the Magna Carta in person was definitely a highlight of our trip. The weather that day was bad…cold, high winds and some rain. Jay provided extra outerwear for our boys to use and helped make the best of the weather. He especially used our time driving in the van to teach us about what we would be seeing. That allowed us to focus on the experience when we were outside the van walking around in the cold, windy weather. The silver lining for us is that we had almost no crowds, something that even Jay was surprised to see. And the bad weather seemed to be fitting for Stonehenge, so we didn’t mind. I didn’t know what to expect going into this tour. But the experience we had with Jay and with Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Salisbury is what convinced us to book another last-minute tour with Kingdom Private Tours two days later (Oxford and Cotswolds with a different guide, Nik). The value we received from the overall experience was well worth the fee. Yes, having a personal driver was nice. But Jay was much more than a personal driver, and ultimately his knowledge, experience and the way he helped bring it to life is what made the difference. I’m convinced that we would have had a lesser experience if we had rented a car and done this tour on our own. We would absolutely recommend Kingdom Private Tours and felt that we received a great value from our experiences.

We spent a wonderful day together driving to the stone hendge and Lynton was awesome. Very knowledgeable and gave a lot of useful history with current events tying things together. We also stopped at Hamilton court a that is a must see.

Jay was an amazing tour guide! We were picked up at our hotel in a spacious van. Jay thought of everything: bottled water, charging cables, umbrellas, and even hats & gloves in case it was cold. Jay provided lots of details about Stonehenge, Windsor, and Windsor Castle, including a book that explained how Stonehenge was built and how it changed over the years. Jay was extremely engaging and kept us rapt or laughing the whole time. He not only provided recommendations and made reservations for a lunch spot in Windsor (highly recommended the Giggling Squid if you like Thai), but when we said we were looking for a good Indian place for dinner for a group of 7, he went above and beyond by making a reservation for us at Light of India for that evening after the tour and dropped us at the restaurant to meet the rest of our party. Kingdom Yours provided an extraordinary overall experience and another win for Viator bookings.

Just incredible! Douglas was our guide and he was SOOO passionate about Stonehenge!!! He knew exactly where to stop for the perfect moment for pictures!! We went to Windsor Castle next and he let us kind of do our thing and we toured the Castle. Thank you Douglas!!! Highly recommend!!

I loved the guide, Douglas. He is very compassionate and funny. The tour was very interesting especially the castle. I loved all the paintings and tapestries. The Stonehenge site was very historic. Douglas explained everything very well and included every detail. He also took many pictures for us.

We do the private tour with Nick and it was awesome We stopped on the way for light snacks and then hit Stonehenge.nick was a wealth of information and made the trip fun. Next stop was a reservation at a restaurant right next to Windsor castle and the food was great After lunch was the castle tour which was great If you have the chance to do this and can. Great experience with this company! Charles was very quick to respond to my inquiry, as well as answer all follow up questions. Booking was easy and our guide, Moe, arrived as agreed. Moe was fabulous and made sure the day was enjoyable. We visited Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Salisbury Cathedral. Moe was very knowledgeable about each of these attractions, and each of the areas we passed through along the way. While Stonehenge was a bit far out, it never felt like a long drive with Moe as our guide. Conversation with him was easy and given how personable he is, the drive time flew by. We also went to a wonderful spot for lunch where the food was excellent. Thanks to our guide we got so much more out of every attraction than we otherwise would have…. and without the hassle and stress of trying to manage the transportation. Well worth the price for this private tour. Thank you for a day to remember!

Our tour was amazing it was comfortable riding in between locations. Moe was a great guide and proved a lot of great commentary along the tour.

We truly enjoyed our tour, especially having the privacy of the van for just our family of six. Pete was very professional, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities in the van, such as water and phone chargers. That said, there were a few aspects of the experience that could be improved. Unfortunately, it was difficult to hear and understand Pete while he was speaking in the vehicle, which made it challenging to engage with the information he was sharing. The tour felt quite rushed overall. While we recognize we were about 8 minutes late in the morning, it seemed that this small delay significantly impacted the rest of the day. Our scheduled departure was at 8:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Stonehenge tour, with a two-hour drive. We didn’t arrive until around 10:15, and by the time Pete finished the introduction, it was closer to 10:30. Since we had to shuttle from the visitor center to the stones—waiting again for the bus—we didn’t arrive at the stones until approximately 10:40. This left us with only about 20 minutes at the site to catch the return shuttle and be back at the visitor center by 11:20. Though we tried to stay on schedule, visiting the gift shop afterward—which involved long lines—meant we didn’t get back to the van until around 11:45. This delay affected the rest of our day, including lunch and our visit to Windsor Castle. Pete drove quite aggressively in an effort to make up time, which came off as a bit unprofessional and made us slightly uncomfortable. Once we arrived at Windsor, everything continued to feel rushed. We were essentially power-walking to reach the lunch spot and get oriented for our castle visit. Lunch began at 1:10 PM, and we had 45 minutes before our 2:00 PM castle tour. While that was sufficient for eating, the tour itself felt compressed. Windsor’s grounds are extensive, and between exploring and shopping, we didn’t have the time we had hoped for to fully enjoy the experience. We understand and accept responsibility for our slight delay in the morning, but we were surprised that an 8-minute setback created such a domino effect. Additionally, skipping the Stonehenge gift shop would have meant missing out on meaningful souvenirs we had hoped to bring home. We would suggest building in a bit more buffer time throughout the itinerary to allow guests to enjoy each location at a more relaxed pace. Overall, we appreciated the experience but feel that the day could have been significantly improved with just a bit more flexibility and breathing room.

Stonehenge is amazing to experience in person! Then we headed to lunch in the town of Windsor and then to Windsor Castle. Fantastic tour and lunch!! We will definitely look to book with Douglas again!

The day trip to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle was fantastic! Douglas was prompt, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His guided tour through and around Stonehenge kept all of us engaged and entertained. For lunch he called ahead and made reservations for us to enjoy lunch before going into Windsor Castle. Highly recommended the fish and chips! Windsor Castle is magnificent! Douglas explained the must sees of the castle and did not disappoint! We also added Salisbury Cathedral to our tour. The tour guide Lynton was great, full of a lot of history. I would diffently say if you request him you will not regret it. We will definitely use him again. Lynton was the best tour guide we have ever had.
