It was an amazing experience. Make sure to add on the tickets for Westminster Abbey. Our guide Lucy went above and beyond to make It great. She was a depth of knowledge. Definitely ask for her.

Itinerary
The tour starts at your chosen time, your tour guide will meet you at Westminster Abbey shop. Beginning at Westminster Abbey, the church used for many royal weddings, coronations and burials. Moving around outside the church, gives you some idea of the scale of this magnificent building. Thousands of people are buried here, stretching from medieval monarchs to modern scientists, your guide will be happy to help you guess some of their names. The famous sites around Westminster are all very close.
Crossing the road, Parliament Square reveals itself fully, complete with statues of many famous statesmen. Not to be outdone, The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben creep into view as we make our way around the square.
But which bit is Big Ben? Who was it named after? Join us to find out. Strolling away from Parliament Square through hidden alleyways, we can admire the local architecture on our way to the main site, Buckingham palace.
Can you recognise if Her Majesty is home? Buckingham Palace sometimes comes together with the changing of the guards. During certain days and fair weather, we can join the Regiments marching from their Barracks to the Palace. If the guard change is cancelled, don’t panic! This is London, there is always time for traditional pageantry.
The horse guards are just around the corner, they are inspected every day, rain or shine.
Walking down The Mall offers a very regal feel and is also a great spot for spectacular pictures. Maybe one palace isn’t enough? St James’s Palace is waiting close by, offering more stories about the Royal Family. Perhaps you’d like to see where Her Majesty buys her hats from? Browsing through St. James’s Street we can hunt out all the shops with the Royal Warrant.
If you’ve had enough of the Royals, let’s stop by St James’s Park, a beautiful area of serenity in the middle of the city. This is also a great opportunity to spot some local wildlife, with a huge variety of birds and squirrels calling this park home.
Finally we head out towards the heart of West End, Piccadilly. Surrounded now by theatres, shops and restaurants, perhaps you can find some inspiration for how to spend the evening?
The tour finishes at Trafalgar Square, right in the city centre of London, leaving you with time to time to contemplate your tour around some of the worlds most iconic sights. Sometimes the tour runs in a different order to maximise your chances of seeing the guard change, but we will still cover all the places mentioned above.

Valentina was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and a joy to spend a few hours with discovering London. You should ask for her by name. You won’t be disappointed. And by the way, she has a wonderful Italian accent.
Claudia was an awesome guide. She showed us so much and was very knowledgeable
As a family of 9 we had the most wonderful experience this past week in London touring with Denisa. She was warm, engaging, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She took time to start her day very early so that she could insure that we would know how to use the Tube and get to our destinations. We learned so much history and important facts about London. Denisa found a way to engage both adults and children and maintain our interest for hours. Prior to the trip Denisa provided so many wonderful recommendations for restaurants, evening activities and was so attentive and responsive to the many times I contacted her. My hope is that I can find family and friends who travel to London and encourage them to utilize her service and expertise so they too can have the fabulous experience we had on our private tour. On a scale of 1-10 Denisa gets 11!
Lucy was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable, had a great command of the history and told the most terrific stories. She was very accommodating, asking us what we wanted to cover. 100% fantastic experience
Our family group met our guide in Westminster Abbey, before setting off on a busy walk around many sights of London. Our guide was able to answer our many questions and had great knowledge of the history attached to the various sights. It was quite an energetic walk but we all enjoyed it and found it well worthwhile.
We have done 7 different Viator tours in Europe and have really liked all of them but this takes the cake. LUCY was our guide and she was great but was just our family and she answered every question and gave tons of funny, interesting and amazing stories.
Very knowledgeable and flexible. Small group made it much easier too. Also guide was able to speak in several languages
Marina was great! Very professional very fun and very knowledgeable. She took us to the off beaten path, and also to the changing of the guards, where it was not extremely crowded
Knowledge and ahe made it custom for us. We asked for a bit of a different tour and she delivered. She also shortened our tour and it was great
Our tour guide Lucy was amazing!! She was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we went to and had the tour very organized. Would definitely do a tour with her again.
