We actually did two tours - this one and Tower of London/British Museum, both with Aaron. Booking was easy, all questions answered, and clear communications. Definitely worth it.

I had an outstanding private tour of Westminster Abbey truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in London. As an English history enthusiast who has visited the Abbey more times than I can count, I wasn’t expecting to learn much new but I was completely wrong. Our guide brought incredible depth and insight, especially around the architecture, the Sanctuary, and the stories behind the kings and notable figures buried there. The way everything was explained made familiar spaces feel entirely new again. Highly recommend this tour to anyone, whether it’s your first visit or your tenth. It was absolutely worth the money.
Gio from Private London Tours set up 4 days of touring allowing us to maximize our time. We had a private guide Paul A. for 3 of the days; he was extremely thorough and entertaining at each venue. Grace was our guide on the last day, she was personable, fun and well versed on the sites. I strongly recommend Private London Tours for a flawless experience!
Gio at Private London Tours was excellent to work with over email. He was extremely professional, communicative and responsive. I would highly recommend working with Gio at Private London Tours! Gio paired our family of 6 adults with Aaron, our tour guide for 2 days. On the first day we went to Westminster Abbey and Churchill War Rooms. Ask for the VIP tour of Churchill War Rooms. It was a HIGHLIGHT of our trip to London! On our second day Aaron guided us through the Tower of London. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable, kind and witty. At the end of each tour, he walked us to our next stop of the day, which was very helpful. He truly went above and beyond. Gio and Aaron made our visit to London amazing!
Mike was our private tour guide for our family trip to London. He was amazing, nice , friendly, professional and very knowledgeable! Our trips to the Cotswolds, Windsor Castle, Churchill War Rooms and Tower of London would not have been the same without Mike. His knowledge of the places we visited was very informative, educational and valuable! I really enjoyed the Churchill War rooms cause my Dad was a WWII veteran and Mike is a WWII history expert! The next time we visit London we will ask for Mike to be our tour guide!! Thank you for making our trip to London a memorable experience for our family!! Best regards, The Brawley’s
Joanna, our guide, and Shorof, our driver provided an exceptional day of knowledge, hospitality and adventure. These two are experienced and professional and we really got our money's worth with this exceptional company. Gio was very responsive to our questions, and we will definitely use them in the future. This is the best way to see London.
So much to see. The guide was very informative and friendly and a blessing. One of the best sites to see.
Unfortunately we had to change our flight and the guide and agency was not accommodating. We did not receive any refund at all. Very disappointing
Our tour guide, Julia, was amazing. She was incredibly kind and informative. Her vast knowledge of the subject matter was very evident. We could not more highly recommend this tour.
Mark W was our guide and did an outstanding job. Gio at Private London Tours kept us well informed prior to our tour and made sure we had all needed information well in advance. I highly recommend Private London Tours and have them at the top of my list for tour guide services.
Truly, an excellent opportunity. It would have taken me all day to explore with a self guided tour for what we efficiently saw and experienced in only two hours at Westminster Abbey. I certainly could have been there all day, but would’ve sacrificed a grand experience in the Churchill Warrooms. Having Gavin as a guide was magnificent. He was incredibly knowledgeable, but given his theater background, he made the experience truly memorable. He had so much to add to each and every opportunity. It was quite easily the highlight of our trip at both locations. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to visit these magnificent places. If I could give more stars I would.
Dani was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and also tailored the trip to the three teenagers we had with us. We had a wonderful time!
the guide was very friendly and receptive to our needs but the price was exorbitant for what we received my wife and I felt that we could have paid the 30 pound admission ticket to the Churchill War Rooms, put on the audio tour supplied free of charge and gotten just as much out of the tour as we did with the guide and likely more out of the tour bc we did not listen to the audio tour - we listened to our guide and it was average at best. Same with Westminster Abbey - we could spent one tenth of what we paid and gotten as much if not more out of the tour than the 430 dollars we spent. Advice - avoid this tour and do it on your own - save the money and have a great dinner somewhere in London instead
Our guide was extremely well-versed in all the very interesting details of Westminster Abbey and the Churchill War Rooms. Yes, it was expensive, but well worth it.
Private guide was great but pretty pricey. Flik was an incredible fount of knowledge. She tailored tour to our group.
Because the tour was our first tour in London we didn’t know what to expect. We were disappointed when our tour guide told us he couldn’t explain things inside the Abby or the Churchill War Room. We just had to walk by many exhibits and films not being able to sit to view movies or read exhibits. I was surprised that we were not given the listening devices to really learn about what we were viewing. The guide was kind to help one in our party of 3 find places to rest and he helped us try to get a taxicab after the tour. The guide was knowledgeable about what we asked him but because he couldn’t explain what we were looking at we felt cheated!
Our guide was very nice and informative but the fee was excessive with nothing extra no special entries no secret rooms etc . I think it was a rip off
Dani was a super guide. She had a lot of knowledge and was very enthusiastic and kept the tour fun and interesting! She was willing to answer all our questions and gave us time to take pictures too!
Our tour guide Dani was amazing!! It’s our first time in London and she gave us an incredible experience visiting Westminster Abby and the Churchill War rooms. She was very informative and funny and I would highly recommend her for a private tour. Great way to start our trip!
It was a nice experience and our guide, Lidi, was knowledgeable and very sweet, but it was rather expensive. Not sure I would 100% recommend because of the price.
Gavin was superb! So friendly and fun!! Gavin was the best. Super informative and kept it moving well.
Mark was a stellar tour guide for our first experience in Westminster Abbey and the Churchill War Rooms. He was more than eager to share his seemingly bottomless well of knowledge when Blake asked one million questions. A charming guide, Mark spent extra time walking us around the area pointing out many interesting curiosities that we never would have known to look for ourselves. There is so much to see in Westminster, and Mark took the time to walk us through without rush and was genuinely excited to be a part of our discovery of the wonders of this historic section of London. He's a terrific guide, charming and patient. HIGHLY recommend!
Rowan was well prepared, insightful and easy to be around. There were three of us, two parents and a 19 year old. Rowan was able to work well with all three of us. He had tremendous knowledge - and was sure to point out all of the interesting highlights and stories that you may know, while adding much more depth, as well as many things we did not know.
We had a fantastic experience with our guide, Gavin, and driver, Tamvir. We learned so much in just one day and our two children (ages 11 and 14) had a lot of fun. Gavin was exceptional with our children, he was truly a pleasure to have as our personal guide. Can't recommend this tour (and the Gavin/Tamvir team) enough!
This was one of the best tours we did. Flicc was a wonderful guide. She brought Westminster Abbey history to life and knew a lot about the historical figures buried or memorialized there. She took us to see the King Edward throne that was behind a rope that no one else was visiting. She kept our 12 year old and us engaged and interested with her lively discourse there and at the War Rooms. Well worth the money for the personal attention.
A stay that would not have had the same flavor without exceptional guides! Westminster for a magnificent dive into the history of the monarchy and English culture, the Tate Modern for an initiatory journey on the path of many committed artists and the districts of EastLondon for its streets full of street works -art. Great professionalism from the agency (advice, responsiveness, relevance of the choice of guides), huge thanks Gio, and the "best ever" guides Muriel and Caroline, who were unanimously unanimous among adults and teenagers
